I have enjoyed my membership with VASA for a long time. Unfortunately I am having to cancel my membership. Lexi at customer care was very professional and understanding as well as proactive in helping me through the process. Great job Lexi!

Worst customer service ever! I called muliple time...

Worst customer service ever! I called muliple times about what I believed was a billing error on my gym membership account and was on hold for about 30 minutes. Finally they called me back, but were extremely unhelpful. I decided to cancel my membership, and was informed that I will still be required to pay the billing fees to the gym through September (it's July 8th). The vasa gyms were nice but any time I had to deal with customer service it always terrible. It's not worth it, there are other great gyms with better service.

Paramount Acceptance has great customer service and responded to my emails very quickly. I was in the process of canceling my gym membership and within a few days everything was finalized. Very professional.

Amazing customer service but awful business values...

Amazing customer service but awful business values on part of VASA. They deal with vasa gym memberships and switching payment dates was no problem. Easiest customer service call in the world!
Update: with the covid-19 business going on I wanted to extend my pause on the gym. Hold time was a bit long (understandably so I'm not the only one with the same thought on the matter) but I was taken care of very quickly and professionally once call was answered. Pause extended and (much to my surprise)2 months of it were not counted as a pause due to the virus! But as of September not all amenities in my gym are open and we have to make an appointment to even come yet they want to charge us full price??? Not to mention if you are genuinely at risk and wish to not go to the gym you are forced to pay "one last month" even though I cannot go because I am sick.i even have doctor's paperwork. Be prepared to dispute it with your bank and get your money back that way glad I've been with my bank for 20 years.

This review is an edit of the one I posted previously. I had been having some issues resolving a membership problem with Paramount Acceptance, the company which handles all of Vasa's memberships and billing.

After contacting Paramount directly I was pretty upset to find that there were some fees in addition to a two month balance which they hadn't been able to charge me for due to some identity and card theft earlier this year.

I spoke with a rep named Robert about these issues and he very politely and helpfully explained some things about Paramount's role with Vasa that I was unaware of. He settled all my account issues and he did it in a calm and respectful manner which made me feel a lot more confident in Paramount's customer service.

I REALLY hate to write bad reviews but, hopefully someone will see this and turn the other way and RUN! this company is the WORST ever and no matter how fat and out of shape i look i will never trust another personal trainer. Mind you i had lost a whole 30 pounds by myself with no help from a trainer. So one day i decided to join gold gym, as usual i was working out by myself and a man i forgot him name. I wish i remembered! He came up to me and stating. " with your golds member ship you get a free traning session." I thought hey why not. the next day he scheduled me to come in for the training session and i will admit i enjoyed being challenged. After the session he pulled out all this paper work and sold me a dream! And of course i was dumb enough to believe every word. So desperate to lose weight and to learn new workouts. my session were going fine but trainers were unorganized, not reliable, and you never know who you would get!. The problem i had with Paramount is first of they are to high for the services they offer and when i moved i asked them for a hold and they approved the hold but continue to take money out of my account! then when i had my services transfered to golds gym closer to my new place, they were taking money out of my account every WEEK! i was so pissed... it felt like i couldnt manage my money! so i called and spoke with a manager for Paramount to advised him that they were taking money out my acct weekly and i signed up for by weekely. He assured me that this would be fixed. Week after week after week money was being taking out of my acct and i had finally had ENOUGH! so i search on google for reviews and i couldnt find one good review about this company! i felt played and ashame i let them scam me like this!!! they prey on fat people for one and for two there is no good customer services. i had to find a number with in the reviews i was reading to contact Headquarters to pay my acct out! which was 250.00, I spoke with this really nice lady who help me cancel the acct and Chris the manager from the gym had the nerve to call me telling me i had to pay 90.00 more dollars to close the acct. Brandon from the customer service line reviewed the account and stated that i did not owe that amount acct has been close. this is definitly a LESSON LEARN! these people are scammers !!!!!!! and i dont care whoooooooo read this !!!! worst service ever.

This company miss lead me and told me my gym membership was canceled and charged me 1 month in Advance. After paying $30 in hopes it s canceled. This month they charged me $74. Stating after I pay this last fee it will be canceled. Let me remind you we have a pandemic going where people are losing jobs and the gym isn t even open, but they refuse to adjust this. It s fraud plain and simple. This company is profit over people.

Jesus did a great job helping out my mom and me with her Vasa account. He was very patient and responsive. When we couldn t get a hold of him he would call right back. The company does a great job managing accounts and pointing members in the right direction. We have gotten everything taken care of thanks to their help. Thank you!!

I had an issue with my card not accepting my payment. It turns out it was canceled without my knowledge. I had a new one made and put on the account, and they refunded the 25 dollar service fee. It was great that they helped me out in a weird situation. They were quick to respond, and was great to work with.

Following up on my initial review below: as I stated to Robert with Paramount yesterday on the phone, they have exceeded my expectations for how they have dealt with this situation. Paramount saw my review, pulled my files back from the collection agency, reviewed the record of the conversation I had with their supervisor in May, and determined that I was in fact doing exactly what I had been instructed to do to cancel the account due to a move. Thank you!

Initial Review: A Paramount supervisor confirmed for me how to cancel my account due to moving - what forms to email them - I even confirmed with her when I would be able to provide them with these forms based on the moving date - then they went sent my account to collections. Very poor business model. I am at a loss why anyone supports a business like Gold's Gym - I guess they feel if they do not trap people into years of membership then they would have to shut their doors. Can you imagine if all business operated on this business model. Very unfortunate to see all the posts from members that they have deceived.

Paramount has been charging my account for a gym membership at a gym that has been closed down for over 2 years. They have threatened to send me to collections, despite the fact that they are charging me for a service that they can no longer provide. This seems very dishonest to me.

At first I was going to leave a 3 star review but then I was transferred to Cole about my account being locked.. Cole was amazing and such a professional his customer service was amazing and he handle the problem in a timely manner which was awesome! I hope everyone can learn from Cole and feed of his energy at Paramount Accemptance! The lady that I spoke to before Cole sound like she doesn t like the company she s working for and should probably fine a new job.. I m sure who ever is working with her would say she don t even deserve a star! Thanks Cole keep up the great work and the positive energy!

Don't believe all these FAKE reviews! This company is terrible. My credit card on file for VASA fitness expired after 2+ years of a membership, they never notified me and I was immediately charged $20 because my card was declined. The monthly membership is only $20!!! I called and the staff was awful, they had no interest in resolving the issue, only wanted to be paid. I was able to get this resolved by cutting them out and calling VASA corporate office instead, they were very happy to help.
