The staff was very knowledgeable and instead of just handing me whatever shoe was nearby they actually watched my gate as well as measured my foot and ask me all the questions on what I be using it for to find me the perfect shoe.

Locally owned & employs extremely knowledgeable staff. You will get A++ service until you are fitted with a shoe that is perfect for you. My husband got his first pair of running shoes from Wasatch and the employee spent an hour with him. She didn't rush him or pressure him in purchasing. But instead explained the different features of each shoe, allowing him time to test them out. And then, when he wanted to try and retry shoes again she was happy to let him have all the time he needed. In the end he. Bought a pair, but after. Ringing them home he decided he wanted a different color. The shoes hadn't been worn outside & they were happy to order the color he wanted (not in stock) & do the exchange. And they carry my favorite brand of running shoes: Topo Athletic!

I had a great experience with Holly at Wasatch Running Center. After a long break from running I had no clue where to start in finding a good shoe that would be comfortable as well as supportive. She was patient and knowledgeable in what would be the best option. It is important to me to shop local, so I am very glad to have found these guys!

This is by far the best running store in the Salt Lake Valley. The employees are so knowledgeable and friendly. They really know what they're talking about, they are willing to take the time and talk to you and get your thoughts. The owners are amazing. They really take care of their customers. I prefer to shop here even if it costs a little more than getting it online. It's worth it to me to shop local because of how great the store is.

I bought my shoes online today. I have to work outside of my home, so I had them delivered. I paid for regular delivery, and expected to get them next week. I got my shoes today! They brought them over while I was at work! Thank you for your dedication to your customers!

Very friendly staff. They didn't have the exact color of the shoe I wanted but they let me try on another color of the same shoe and ordered in what I wanted. I live in southern Utah and they shipped my shoes to me for no cost and it was very fast. Highly recommend!

I love it when packet pick ups are here. Everything is organized and smooth. Also it is awesome they rent out wetsuits. Staff is very nice and I love they track their mileage. This is my go to place for race nutrition; blocks, tailwind, spring gels, and waffle cakes oh my. They have all your running and even triathlon needs.

I walked away with an amazing pair of shoes, confident in my decision, and knowing more about other shoes should I need something else. I am not a runner but needed some compression sleeves for my lower legs because I am on my feet all day, up and down stairs and on hard floors. Jared was very helpful and knowledgeable. I m super bummed. I ve heard great things about this store. We recently moved here. I m an avid ultra runner. Went in on 3/29 mid afternoon. Looking to buy a new pair of road shoes. I ve been in CS for a long time. I walked in no one said hi, I was looking at the men shoes I had 3 I wanted to try on, but no one spoke to me. They weren t real busy, I would have waited if someone would have just said they would be with me. Bummed, I wanted to spend $$ with them. Oh well on to the next running store.

I love Wasatch Running! Every time I come here the employees are so nice and helpful and they do everything to help you find the best shoes for you. They have a really wide shoe selection and lots of running clothes too. It s a runner s paradise!

A good, clean shop, somewhat lacking in variety. Went in for running underwear, and found one brand, and just one style available. Kinda key. They were friendly and helpful, just needs more choices.

The WRC was recommended to me by some friends and I have never been disappointed. I am an avid runner, running from 5ks to marathons +, and I have never been disappointed with the store or its employees. In addition to the great products they offer, the people there are very knowledgeable on running products and very courteous, nice, and helpful.
Since my first buy, I bought 5 pair of shoes, clothes, watches, body glide etc. About the comment stating that nobody had helped the person for 30min, well if they don't see you, just ask... It is not that complicated.. I would recommend this store to anyone

This is a great place to pick up running shoes. I've always bought shoes from sporting good stores, but decided to try going here. They evaluated my running to make sure I didn't need any sort of specialty shoe. The pair I ended up choosing are my favorite running shoes so far. They have an excellent selection, including women's wide width. And everything from a soft, memory foam to a stiffer shoe. The prices seem to be on par with what you'd see online, but the customer service is what really sets this store apart. I'd definitely recommend shopping here.

I didn t have any experience with trail runners before visiting Wasatch running center. I also tend to have a hard time finding the right fit with new shoes. Danny helped me try a bunch of brands and sizes to find the perfect shoe for me. I ve been using them non-stop since buying them! Love my Topos thanks Danny!

I am a lame, amateur treadmill runner so I was nervous about going to a "real running store" to buy new running shoes. However, I was in dire need and WRC was the closest thing to my work. It turns out I had NOTHING to worry about. The customer service here is top notch. I was greeted kindly and offered a bottle of water while I waited for the next available associate. The wait was very short and gave me time to look around at their great selection of clothes and gear. The salesperson took his time with me, let me run in each new shoe on their in-store track and treadmill, and when I asked questions he answered everything from the perspective of a real runner in a way that made me feel confident and comfortable. The shoe selection was great, and I walked out with shoes that feel and look amazing. I will be bringing my husband back in for shoes and telling all of my friends about this place!

Great little running store. Helpful staff and expert shoe fitting, which means you find the shoe that fits your foot, and more importantly, your running style.
You might be able to save a few bucks by shopping a sale at a big-box store but you'll wish you spent a bit more to have a pro get you in the right shoe once your a few miles into your run and your feet start screaming at you.

Awesome experience. I am a super fan of buying online for the best price, but these folks have earned my business and I will gladly support my local store.

They are very friendly but also give me my space so I can browse without someone over my shoulder. The employees I spoke to all are runners and have great advice to give. Wasatch Running and REI are now my only go to local stores due to service.

Great place for the novice as well as experienced runners. Usually priced as competitive as online with a highly experienced staff whose highest priority is to get you in the right shoe as opposed to just selling you. Would put them above the guys from SL Running Co. A must if you are just getting into running.

Great staff! They really know shoes and how to get a good fit in the right shoe.

Went in to get some calf compression sleeves for running. The lady that helped me knew exactly what I was looking for, measured my calf for me and let me try on different brands to see which one I preferred. Was the same price I would have paid if I got them directly from the manufacturer online so I was happy about that.

Marc is the man. He patiently educated us and brought us up to speed with the latest and greatest in running shoes. We walked out with a pair of brand new Sauconys and after a few miles on the treadmill they weren't working, so we brought them back, he took us through the fitting process again, and we promptly walked out with another pair of shoes and some smiles.

It'll be tough to convince me to shop anywhere else.

I'd say the best running store in Utah. I prefer this store over all the others in SLC and Utah County.

Decent service, would have *greatly* appreciated a more thorough size measurement by the owner (he was the one who helped me), including listening to my several attempts to tell him my size. Also... a much clearer, easily understandable explanation of the store's return policy would have been nice to have. The combination of these two shortcomings made for a sufficiently unpleasant experience that I'm highly doubtful I'll return. Hope this helps someone out.

Great place to find your perfect running shoe or whatever accessories you may need. I broke my toe years ago so finding a shoe that accommodates to this pain is tough. The staff made me feel welcome, informed and appreciated. I definitely recommend this place! Found the perfect shoe and very happy with my purchase.
