Most terrible experience I have ever had at a resort or hotel. At 1:00pm we paid to upgrade to a beach facing bungalow, we were told to pack our bags and leave them by the door and they would get us moved over. The only reason we paid to upgrade was to relax by the beach that day. Instead, after several phone calls..6:30pm rolls around and we finally get into our upgraded room. I had to demand that our upgrade fee be refunded as there would ve been no reason to upgrade had we known the sun would be going down by the time we got to our new room. The woman I spoke to was only willing to refund me half of the upgrade fee.
Shortly after, we find that our iPad had been broken, more appropriately SHATTERED, literal holes in the screen..by housekeeping. It has now been a week since the incident and the security department has notified us that they will not be refunding us any money or compensating for the iPad in any way. Apparently the housekeeper is claiming to have found it already broken. We refunded you for your upgrade fee before they said.
I work with people, as does the majority of the population.. you make it right. Always. But apparently Paradise Point has none of those values that we all take as common sense.
