So I say that this is the nicest place we have ever stayed in, the resort is super clean and GEORGIOS! The hospitality was amazing and EXCITING things to do around the area. Also located in a spectacular area. The pricing was well worth the stay and the food was at experienced chef level, are we coming back? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!

I visited a friend who was staying at the hotel. We lounged at the adult only pool. It was very relaxing and peaceful. There were plenty of towels provided, and the ambiance was perfect. The foliage was pristine and even had attracted bird wildlife to the adjacent pond. I highly recommend!

Wedding was absolutely stunning. The event planner they had was just top notch. However, was at the pool for three hours. Not once did the towels get replenished. The suite advertised was a rollaway bed and the Coffee shop took ten minutes to get one drink with no others waiting. The employees seemed as if they didn t care on the hotel side. Maid service came by at 7pm. For the price I would expect better service.

I would not come back because of the price. The resort is a beautiful throwback to the 50's with very cute bungalows. (No operable windows are a deal killer for me). Landscaping is super cute. Location amazing. But the price gouging is ridiculous. It winds up at 500.00 a night with all the fees and taxes. 38.00 per night for parking. 32.00 per night resort fee. Plus all of California taxes. And this 500.00 per night does not include food nor beverages. (In Cancun you can get all inclusive with food and drinks and all fees for an equally lovely hotel for 450.00 a night) And if I had an ocean view room it would have been 400.00 per night extra, on top of the 500.00. The onsite restaurants are nice with lovely ocean views and attentive service. But expensive. Our room has a small fridge but the microwave was removed. We spoke with other guests who did have the microwave. Everyone bought coffee at 5.00 a pop rather than use the in room Keurig. I will assume that they did that for the same reason I did. Mine had not been cleaned and there was standing water left in it from the previous guest. GROSS! They need to take the machines and disinfect them properly AFTER EACH AND EVERY GUEST CHECKOUT and cover after disinfecting. Also they need to train their staff to turn off the alarms. Ours went off at 6:00 AM and ruined my first day. It seems there are guests that find it amusing to leave it set at 6:00 AM for the next guest. Staff needs to clean and make sure all alarms are turned off after each guest check out. All in all it's a lovely place, which needed a small microwave in the room together with the fridge. It needed operable windows. But plan on spending around 650.00 to 700.00 a night with food and drinks and coffee. If you rent bikes and do the activities make that 800.00 to 900.00 a night for a garden view room. Ocean view room plan on 1200.00 to 1300.00 per night.

Unfriendly check-in experience with Morgan, luke warm broth at Ramen buffet and empty coffee containers during breaks. This property needs quite a bit of help hosting events. Ours was only about 350 people.

I worked there all of 4 day and they asked me not to come back, yet the place is truly a Paradise and worth the pay to stay there. I truly fell in love with the place and a little sad I don't get to see it no more but better to have loved and lost than never loved before.

The room was dirty we had to clean by ourselves sheets were dirty, when we asked for switch the sheets they brought us a lot of cover pillows, the faucet was broken and the floor was dirty, people smoke marijuana around the beach the towels had holes, but they charge you expensive and whatever they want, be careful, they charge to your bank whatever they want. The manager Kile never return the calls, and his front desk Roberto is a rude and prepotent person . We never won t back to this disgusting place.

I came here for Valentines Day & I absolutely loved my experience. Before I arrived I received phone calls and emails to make sure there was nothing I needed upon arrival & once there the staffs customer service was beyond excellent. We enjoyed our Bayside Junior Suite the only negative was the $37 for over night parking & no Jacuzzi tub besides that I will most definitely be back and I am telling friends and family to stay here if they are ever in San Diego.

Wonderful. Upgraded to a better room because they didnt have the room I paid for. Staff is wonderful, grounds are beautiful, surrounded by San Diego bay. Only thing is its not clearly defined as to where it is. Not good signs at the entrance. Will stay again.

This place was packed at full capacity no covid guidelines. Still waiting for my refund . They keep telling me it was processed it's been a month and still waiting had to make a claim to my bank.

The floor in our room was so dirty it made our feet black. Called the front desk at 6am telling them there was an alarm going off next door and 20 minutes later had to walk down to the lobby to have them shut it off. Beautiful place but I will stay in one of the other resorts down here next time

A hidden gem in San Diego. A beautiful tropical resort tucked away. Great for couples and families. You can rent a hotel room, or bungalow. Mini golf, bikes to rent, tennis, basketball, boats to rent. Live music etc...

Terrible, you can't enjoy yourself, its beach front and the weekend and they want total silence you can't laugh or talk after 9 pm. It's a terrible place and the security guards are very rude. The place caters to white people and are very rude to black guest.

Wonderful resort type atmosphere. Very nice amenities, ocean on all sides, great lobby with nice seating and fire going all the time. 4 restaurants with plenty to offer if you don't want to cab back into town. Not walking distance to anywhere off site but $18 cab to old town to catch the city trolley.

The resort is a beautiful location. The rooms were clean and adequate. The location has lovely gardens and a long sandy beach. Our meals were good and filling. Tidal was the best restaurant in the resort and was very good. The polls and marina were good.

Staff is super friendly pools are nice open all year long the caveman Pizza is the best pizza I've ever had. Me and my family had a nice peaceful walk through the trail around the resort it was pretty with all the little ponds and look out points try the bicycle ride it's fun

The resort itself was wonderful. Our room was very spacey, yet you can tell it could use some re-painting or updates (water leaking from the shower tub, etc) but we were mostly outside so that didn't bother us much. There's a lot to do within the boundary of the resort with the kids including pools, beach, activities, restaurants, garden, etc. Staff were very nice and was always willing to assist with the requests. Location is great- about 3 minute drive away from the Sea World, 40 minutes from Legoland and the Safari Park.

My only complain is in regards to their room service including the cleaning crew:

1. We requested a microwave when we made the reservation and it was confirmed. We confirmed it again when we checked-in. We went to the room and there was no microwave. We called the concierge who said we were on the "waiting list" and we should be getting it the next day when others check out. Nothing. No update for the rest of our stay. We traveled with an infant so we needed the microwave. We had brought our own electric kettle as back up so we were okay but had we not had it, we would have been screwed big time. Luckily they provided the infant crib as we requested.

2. There was no toilet paper when we checked in. We called the concierge who apologized and said they will send someone right over. No one came by and we had to make another call and wait again before we could use the bathroom.

3. The safe box was either broke or wasn't working. We told the concierge as we were heading out on day 2 and was told they will fix it. It was never fixed nor never followed up on.

4. There's three trash bins in the room (two in the room and one in the bathroom). The cleaning crew somehow managed to empty only two out of three bins every single day. The one they never emptied out was placed right next to the one they have been emptying out so I don't know what the deal is.

5. One day they took the tip and cleaned two trash bins (but didn't clean out the one right next to it, hmm) but didn't make our beds or restocked the towels. Another call to the concierge and another wait.

5. The floor is very.very.dirty. Make sure to never let your little ones crawl on the floor and make sure to have the bigger kids wear their socks or shoes. Dirty. We made a mistake of letting our older kid run around barefoot and when she hopped on the bed....it wasn't pretty. The sheets will instantly turn black.

It's a real hidden gem of San Diego. I booked it at the last minute got a good rate and only stayed the night, but I absolutely love the place. First of all it's lush plants foliage and just overall ambiance was just gorgeous. The people that work here are really into their job and that's a big plus also. I love the layout of the place it's seemingly hundreds of luxurious villas and everyone working there seems like they really want to be working there. No attitudes no stuffiness just real happy people pleasing people. At least in my experience when someplace calls itself a resort it's gotten too big for itself but Paradise point resort is the opposite, it's fun it's fantastic and it's a getaway from a city in a tropical environment. Next time I come to San Diego I think I'm going to try it for 5 or 7 days because it really seems like a place that I would feel like home at. Also liked that they had man USB and electrical outlets and a nice modern alarm clock (pet peeve of mine). Only thing they could do better is get a better vending machine vendor, tried 3 of the soda machines and 2 located by the pools didn't work, and the third only took quarters ($3), and when finally got it to work, gave me the wrong beverage

It was great as far as the pools, food/reastraunts, and beach access go. But the room was filthy and had cat pee in it but it had great beach acsess, we got relocated and as far as the room goes much nicer but it was much farther from the beach and that was terrible, farther From everything, and had a horrible veiw.

Pricilla needs to be fired immediately. I came to this resort for a business conference and I met up with some girls from that conference and we had a bombfire on the beach. A group of people approached us and and said we stole their firewood. We offered them money (we didn't know if they had wood or not) and they did not want it and told us to leave to go get some. We are from Ohio and don't have cars here. They girl pricilla who said she works here cussed us out and told us we we're unwelcome. She became very threatening and stood up as to come at us and try to punch us. We just didn't appreciate the violent nature of the so called worker. The resort ended up making us move rooms at 11 at night because of the situation. It is just ridiculous that we had to move that late at night because of an employee who was not professional. We pay a lot of money to come for the conference to better ourselves yet a worker from paradise point stands in the way of a relaxing time off the clock. I feel disrespected and unwelcome.

I almost never write reviews and when I do it's to praise great service. A lot of what is going on at Paradise Point is beyond their control and they were very gracious in giving us a refund on the rest of our stay. It's a resort in decline. The cleaning crew is friendly but not thorough. The property is passable but aging and nowhere near four star. The beach is public although the website makes it seem private, and there's no mention of the late night gangsta parties complete with bonfires going on in the nearby parking lot/beach. Every night there are folks walking on the hotel grounds and swimming in the pools who obviously don't belong there. The security is scant at best, but at a certain point that comes down to dynamics within SD City Council and PD. Paradise Point is someone's tax write off and the 44 acres will eventually be sold for development. The reviews detailing breakins are very believable. More like Paradise Lost Point. There are many great places to stay in SD. This is not one of them. And don't get me started on the msssive dead stingray they let fester in the beach for three days.

Pools are small and only 5 ft deep at most except the adult pool. Drinks are cheaper at the main pool than at the bar. Food is very very overpriced but very good. The mexican restaurant is really only some tacos and nachos. The fitness center is very nice. The mini golf corse is nothing more than a small grass area they put some cups and flags to make the area usable. The spa is very nice. Employees are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty normal hotel rooms. There is a hidden fee of $37 for parking that you can't get around. Plus the $29 a day for the resort fee. If you want to use a fire pit you have to get them early in the morning and stay around it all day. The main pool is nice but very busy.

In an out-of-the-way tropical spot, this restaurant is a find. The food was scrumptious. The wait staff made sure our drinks and meals were perfect. Kudos to the chef for a delicious, well presented dinner.

Beautiful location and grounds and pools are nice. Front desk reception and cleaning staff are less than helpful, unfriendly and even argumentative at times (and I was only there a few days!) I might return as long as I made the reservation online and didn't expect my room to be serviced.

I don t know where to start. This place is absolutely stunning! Paradise Cove or the garden rooms are amazing. Paradise cove is more of the party scene on the weekends where the garden rooms are more peaceful! Truly a hidden gem and what s more important is that your literally 15 mins from everything including the airport, La Jolla, Balboa Park and so much more! Love you Paradise Point from Chicago!!!

This place is my favorite place to stay on mission bay. It's a small island that is also a resort, and has several beaches, pools with hot tubs, and has a couple restaurants right on the water. It has a giant tower that you can climb and get a good view of the area from. You can rent bikes and boats at the resort too.

This place was a trip to paradise without having to hop on a plane. It's only 2 hours from my home so i'll definately be back. The Bayside room is a must. Staff is friendly. Even though there is no housekeeping during the pandemic, request for supplies, trash pick up etc were fulfilled within minutes via their app.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, and it is truly paradise. The staff are wonderful and the bungalows are clean and beautiful. The grounds here at night are a thing to behold! We enjoy just walking around and seeing how beautiful it is here. Thank you for such a nice stay.

The house was clean and very pretty. Book a house in front of the bay, steps to the water. The service was fine but as it was on the weekend, they were busy, and they lasted a long time to give me the keys. But in total everything was very good.

Classified by Priceline as a 4.5 star resort, feels more like an upgraded / regentrified motel. Nice furniture and new floors in otherwise damp, dingy ground floor rooms, inconsistent maid service, overpriced parking and food (for the star rating). Bathroom light / fans sound like an impending air raid. Would be less disappointed if I'd been led to expect sub-3 star accommodations.

I loved it! The scenery is gorgeous, the food is amazing, and the rooms are really nice. I went to Paradise Point with my mother and my brother last year, and I had a blast! When we first got there, we had reserved a jungle bungalow, that promised a garden view, but it didn't, and it was right next to the main pool. It sounds nice, but all you hear is screaming kids. So we went to the front desk to get mad, but then they upgraded us to a bayside bungalow, which has the BEST view! We were right on the bay, we had our own firepit, and the room was at a perfect distance from the pool, the gift shop, and the restaurants. I highly recommend this resort, especially if you want to go to the San Diego Zoo or Sea World. Its pricey, but worth it.

Not a lot of signage for traffic and parking, so you have to know where you're going before you get there. Other than that, this is an immaculate facility on the water's edge with a great variety of food and drinks for post-conference gathering.

Looking pretty dated, but the facilities were more than adequate. Really nice location on the water. Food was above average for hotel banquet fare, and my only interaction with staff was very pleasant. I want an overnight guest so I can't speak to the room quality.

Been here a couple of times now and I like it more and more every time I come back. The first time was for a holiday party and the venue is gorgeous with a beautiful view. We stayed overnight at the special discounted rate and the room was ok, but the bed wasn't that comfortable (too hard) and a little too high for a shorty like me.

Last visit was for a conference and this is a perfect location for that. From how it's set up for speakers who can view their slides without it being obvious to the multiple power cords to charge up laptops and phones to the meals and snacks they provided as part of the package. Great, great deal.

First time to the Barefoot Grill too which had great drinks and can't beat that view. Next time will need to visit their new restaurant Tidal.

A ton of fun for those who love doing activities (biking, sports, watersports, etc.) as well as relaxing. Perfect for friends or families. Our room on the beach had a great view, a stylish beach interior, and close proximity to fire pits. I've been multiple times but I don't think I'll be able to stay in any room not on the water next time. The staff is generally friendly and service is quick. The spa amenities were alright but the massage itself was fantastic. We had a great time!

Where do I start..... when we checked in we we're charged $32 for parking and $17 for internet. Our room was freezing after turning the wall heater on. I called the front desk for extra blankets. They sent someone to check heater and it was broken. It took about 30 minutes to change it. We were in bed while they changed the whole heater. The room was roomy but very old and weathered. Bathroom had ugly grout and earwigs in the tub. The front desk man did not smile at all. Would I go back NO.
