I've stayed at the Convention Center every March for the last 5 yrs.. No complaints and the hotel is great. The Food, service and the wonderful pool area..my family and I love it.
Las Vegas like sized hotel minus the casinos and tacky decor. Elegant expo held for their guests
Noisy bar area, great breakfast buffet is a little pricey, nice room.
Pleasant, staff very professional, great options for restaurants, the pool is fantastic with a refreshing atmosphere!
Attended a tradeshow, conference rooms were great, food was excellent and the staff was very courteous and attentive. Very positive experience.
This is THE hotel to stay at if you are staying in Orlando. We stayed here while we visited Disney, Universal, and Holiday Matsuri. It was such a beautiful hotel!
This place has an awesome pool and a swim slide which I did not try. Management seems to have a good grasp on how to run a hotel of this size. A lot of people move in and out of this place and they seemed on top of it. The room had comfortable and clean beds.
Stayed in a two double bed room with pool view on 10th floor. Note that it can be noisy up till 11pm as the pool patrons and music is loud until then. I caught the fireworks over disneyworld from my balcony. Room is clean and well maintained. Internet connection is decent from my room.
My overall experience of this hotel was great. When I first got there, the employees were so nice and welcoming to me and my family. We went to the latitude and longitude and the central pantry and the service was fantastic! I definitely recommend this hotel and will come back in the future.
I really like this place. Great atmosphere and a great place for large conferences.
It may be pricey, but the hotel continues to amaze me. Looking forward to next year.
Very nice and large hotel able to accommodate big groups for conferences. Conference center food is surprisingly good!
Great resort with good food. The rooms were ample with good view of the pool from the balcony
I had to park there because of a work related thing but overall a good experience
No free wifi, no microwave. Very well kept and clean, friendly staff, expensive but nice food. Pantry needs to be cheaper
Out dated rooms. Room had two full size beds & only one of them had a comforter, asked for the second bed to have a comforter added & it never was.
Worst weekend getaway vacation ever! After check in it took 4 calls and 1 1/2 hrs to get my bags. They left a bag in the car, I asked them to bring it up they told me it wasnt there. I went to the manager, he asked valet to bring the car up and there was the bag! complete waste of time. 2nd- Me and my 2 kids had dinner at Hawks Landing on the resort, my daughter ate off the kids menu. when the bill arrived at $164, the waitress transposed the numbers to $614 charging my bank both amounts my account was not credited back for 3 days. and my card had a fraud alert on it and was closed so for 10 days I was with out a debit card due to SERVER INCOMPETENCE
Save your money!!
Surprisingly good food at the pool and at the sports bar. Staff is attentive and fun. Rooms could use an update, and AC struggles a bit, but that seems to be a constant problem in central Florida. It s almost as if they have embraced the oppressive heat. Anyway, if I ever had to came back to Disney World, I d consider staying here again.
Recently stayed here for 6 nights (2 by myself for work and 3 with my family of 4). The last 3 days there, the whole time my family was there, our room never got cleaned! We were there for Disney World and unfortunately after both of our long days at Disney came home to a room that never was touch. We did not have privacy sign on door and made sure to clear all beds and even piled up our dirty towels BOTH DAYS. After first day I called down once we got back to our room at 10pm and complained. They apologized and brought new towels and emptied our trash. Only AFTER I asked them. I thought there was no way it could happen again. Next day we spent entire day at Magic Kingdom came back around 10pm and AGAIN room had not been touched. It was almost like they forgot we were even staying there. No water in the room 3 of the 5 days either. I will never stay here again. Not welcoming or accommodating for families trying to have a Disney vacation. Choose another Marriott if you must. Also, I am a rewards member and always stay with Marriot. Was hoping they would treat us better during our stay this week. Disappointed.
Very friendly staff and there was not a lack of them. They were everywhere!
Great place to bring your family to play in the pool.
A beautiful hotel and conference center. I attended a research conference there and the staffing and rooms were great.
Perfect hotel for a large conference. Specialty restaurants close after lunch till 5.
Attending a biology conference. Staff was great, food was great...
The rooms are spacious and well stocked. The customer service from the shuttle to checking in amd housekeeping was impecable.
Management was horrible I try to speak to a manager from the moment he came out of his office he had an attitude they nickel and dime everything they charge taxes for the taxes they charged you they charge you $23 for a parking that a mile away they have snacks in the room that have a price list of $4 but when they actually charge you them it's $5.35 with taxes on top of those $5.35 they charge your resort fee per night of $22 bottled by taxes on those $22 in taxes on the taxes of the $22 so you imagine you book the hotel for $119 and that it's going to charge you $119 but you're wrong so you get charged 119 plus taxes on those 119 and another set of taxes that follow on the taxes that they charge you so when you check out you're charged about a hundred $250 of unexpected charges on top of your room charges then when you try to talk to the manager he's a douchebag so many hotels in Orlando I don't recommend you to stay in the Marriott save your money for another hotel.
This is a nice place to stay. The room is big and comfortable. The pools are big. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Disney Springs is down the street.
The facilities are really nice and the conference center is massive and very amenable to large meetings. I am however a bit disappointed that our room does not have a fridge but a costly mini bar in its place. I'm also wary of the fact that there's a pressure-sensitive plate of snacks and drinks to be charged to your account if you should move them. I have nightmares of my kids being here and getting tons of money charged to my account because a large tray of expensive goodies are so ostensible and accessible. The fitness center is nice enough and there's a nice running trail around the grounds.
The ultimate family vacation resort! My kids and I had a blast! Restaurants onsite -Hibachi was our favorite, laser pool show nightly, game arcade, water slides, shuttle to disney, breakfast buffet at L&L was to die for! Room svc was also very tasty. Nothing negative to say after spending 7 glorious nights here. We will be back!
Great place to hang out with your friends and family. Beautiful grounds.
The staff ia extremely helpful and friendly. My room was clean and comfortable.
It's a long walk from parking to the rooms.
Cool waterslides and pool. Awesome modern place to walk around. Great service. Nice food.
Unfriendly Service from Check in , which did not honor the deal I had booked online, to Bellhop who complain about us taking to long because we could not get in the room, door was broke. Noise room, A/C vents and some exhaust system made it unbareable to use balcony. To poolside service brings you a Menu but never comes back to take an order to Lifeguards thst close slides all the time so they can talk to each other. Parking is like a mile away you have to use a shuttle. And Security on outdide doors non existing, no key lock anybody can walk in. Don't waste your money.
Here for ihi conference, didn't stay in the hotel. Nice spacious area, no issues at any sessions. Lots of water stations and bathrooms, altho the ladies had long lines. Would be nice if they had more designated recharged stations for electronics.
Loved watching the kids going down the big slides. There is no amount of money thst could get me to go down it. Too old lol
This is the true definition of a resort! Plenty of food options. Great pool spaces. Clean, quiet rooms. Staff is super friendly. I appreciate the warmth from all levels of staff, truly felt at home. Early check in was acccomodated as long as I was not picky on bed size. Speaking of beds, a double room is exactly that, 2 double beds so be cautious is you truly need 2 queens. Entertainment / activities at the pool all day long. Stayed 4 nights for a convention, rooms close enough for a quick walk to the sessions. I can not say enough good things about this resort. Thank you Marriott!
Fantastic device for a hotel that's as lafe as it is.
Super. Good service, nice place, everything very close, good pool and very large and comfortable area.
The room was great! And really close to the meeting spaces. The check in process was much better this year than last. Beautifully appointed public spaces, grounds and guest rooms.
Beautiful Beautiful resort....
Plan on walking to your car...if you dont get valet parking....and I do mean walking................................
A fantastic place to stay! The people, the pool, and the food was amazing.
This is the worst place to stay. They tell you one thing and then rip you off! I advise people to not stay here and find somewhere cheaper and have much better workers. I will be letting everyone at my company know to never book her
Had the pleasure of playing golf (Hawks Landing) and dining (High Velocity) at this hotel). Golfing was great, even the snake on the 2nd hole remained coiled up and didn t bother me. Management at The High Velocity and the Golf Center was also great. Special thanks goes to Theo at High Velocity whom was excellent and made sure my spouse and I were well taken care of. Theo, you are the man and thanks for your excellent customer service.
Looking forward in playing golf and dining at this hotel again
William and Evon,
Had a great view from the 25th floor . The pool is awesome with 3 adult slides and a grotto. The kids are was really cute and had a small kids slide
Have dealt with these people over the phone before going. They did not offer any assurances based on the reservations I made. First come, first serve applies to when you check in NOT when you reserve the hotel. Therefore if someone reserves the hotel 2 months before the date, they get no assurances compared to someone who reserves the hotel the night before. If I could stay elsewhere I would, but can't because of conventions.
Once there they gave us a room that was in a nice, convenient place. The bed was great and I liked the bathroom. It was upscale. The A/C was colder than it said and never stopped. No one could fix it. Or cared. Additionally, and unfortunately, they have RINGING PIPES from people taking showers. I sleep deeply and this woke ME up! Twice! This is caused when two pipes are put together in a manner that allows vibration. I'm not a plumber, but I don't think that's good. I've NEVER heard of this before except at a hotel that cost $25 a night.
Then... after two days of this, the door wouldn't close! It was having difficulty before, but we always got it to close until midnight on day 2. Of course... midnight. SO we had to wait 2 HOURS for people to finally figure out they'd have to move us. I don't know what the big deal was because they moved us to another wing (this hotel is huge) and into a room that looked like it came from a low price competitor. The shower was not the same, the view stunk and the handle and locks for the sliding door were broken or missing. The A/C was not effective in this room.
Getting there at 2 in the morning and then to have the front office staff act like it was a gift for me to be able to have a room in the first place is infuriating. I'm sorry, but I reserved this room and you need to accommodate me or send me elsewhere with a voucher. Moving me is not a gift. Moving me is an inconvenience and you should be taking care of your customers when such a thing happens. You shouldn't be acting like it happens every day or it's no big deal.
ONLY go here if money is not an object and you don't care if you pay for everything. $14 a day for parking, $15 a day for internet, $24 for fettucinni alfredo. This is a TASTE of what you'll see here. After this experience I won't go back to Marriott hotels at all.
Clean rooms, large property and many food options. Good with kids and for golfers.
This place is awesome! Definitely staying here again so much fun for the hole family while you're on vacation.
For the most part this is a wonderful hotel. We did have some trouble with noise and construction. Had to move rooms. The next room was in disrepair and the excuse was it still needed updating. Staff was friendly and they made up for it. But the fees are outrageous
The steak at an event was very overcooked and even when replaced it was still well done. The grounds are gorgeous and the majority of the staff is extremely friendly. There's an older bellhop who was rude and hovered waiting on a tip. Once I pulled out a few ones he said there you go and was just irritating in his expecting demeanor. Everyone else was great though.
Was a really nice place and really big. I went here for a convention and it was really nice
Amazing pools, cant say anything about the rooms I wasnt staying there.
Nice hotel overall. Huge pool, cool water slides, and some nice daily activities. Staff was friendly.
The downside is the robbery that is committed when purchsing food and drinks on the property. For example, a 12 oz. apple juice 4.00, a VIRGIN strawberry daiquiri 9.00, nachos with about 4 small pieces of beef 20.00, a half pint of ice cream 7.00. Your family-priceless. Self parking per day is about 25.00 in addition to a 25.00 resort fee per day.
Watch your bill. 2 days they tried to charge me for valet parking also which is about 34.00 per day I did not valet parking.
I suppose the goal of every vacation place is to obtain as much money from their guests as possible. Goal accomplished.
Excellent course, people working there ife, no personality
Pretty nice place!
The Bellman Tom Martin went out of his way to help me! I had ordered food and other items from an instant delivery site and they messed up twice. They first were to deliver to the front desk but they called me on my cell and said they shouldn't leave it so I went down and before I could get down they left. Tom called the company (I can't talk well enough to initiate a call) and arranged a redelivery (that never came). He then said he would go and buy my list from the store, which he did! He is a great asset to Marriott and I hope he is compensated for his good deeds because he certainly made the Marriott name beautiful to us!
The Orlando World Center Marriot's service was by far the best service i've ever experienced but maids were a little irritated with me being there.
Amazing front desk staff, always super accommodating, it's like you have known them for years! I keep coming back!
Went there for a conference. Was a very nice hotel, great pool and section separated for a pool bar, which was nice. Have been there twice now would go again.
I was there for AJA conference. Great place to stay and plenty to do on your off time.
Love this hotel.. great pools, waterside and restaurant variety
The pool was awesome came back two shades darker lol
A very nice resort. Has pools and even 4 water slides. Has it's own golf course. Nice gym with lot's of cardio machines. Lot's of free weights. It even has an outdoor running track that's about 2.7km. Rooms where clean.
Great rooms, room service, excellent amenities, great food and FRIENDLY and HELPFUL PEOPLE.
