I do not leave reviews because I am typically a laid back person and let things slide because I understand things happen sometimes and you just can t control it but I cannot let this one go. My husband and I ate at the House of Blues while on our honeymoon in Florida 2 years ago and it was delicious so we were excited to eat here. We had a reservation at 6:45. When arriving a few minutes early, no one was waiting for a table and there were plenty of tables available, but we still had to wait until 6:45 to be seated. This should have been our first sign to leave. I ordered my drink and was told that it would taste bad due to putting a different drink on that line. I was appreciative of the warning, but all you have to do is change the line to fix the taste. Not being very hungry, I requested to order a smaller portion for the kids menu because I hate wasting food. I was denied and the waitress told me she would be fired if she allowed that, so I had to order a full meal. I asked for no slaw and was quickly told there are no substitutions (when I hadn t even mentioned that I wanted a substitution). When getting my meal, I didn t get my corn on the cob. I requested this to be plain. The waitress brings it out with the sauce that is supposed to go on it because the cook insisted. The corn on the cob was only about 2 inches long. My husbands ribs were over cooked and difficult to tear apart and eat. My fried chicken was bloody in the middle. While each of these things are not major, it all added up to being a terrible dining experience and we do not plan to go back.

My wife and I were in town for our anniversary and after seeing the information about the Gospel Brunch, decided we would make it a destination. When we first arrived in the restaurant, it was very clear this location doesn't do the large stage production shown in the promo videos. The morning's entertainment was simply a local Gospel quintet (who were good by the way, not critiquing their performance) on stage at the front of the restaurant area. Even with a reservation, they sat us at a table where one seat was completely blocked by a column. After taking several minutes for our server to come to our table (to which other patrons noted and commented to us as they were leaving), we asked to be moved. They simply shifted us down one table where one of us still had our back to the stage, even though there were booths that only had two people seated, with several open when we arrived. While the buffet did have a nice selection of breakfast and lunch items, nothing really wowed us, it all seemed like things we could get at a local pancake house. Overall, we felt the cost for the meal didn't live up to the expectations we had from seeing this online. It was OK, and maybe things are different during peak tourism season, but I don't think we'd be returning.

Went here with wife and daughter to see Ledger, From Ashes to New, and of course Skillet. This was one of the best concert we had been to. The first 2 bands was a great open act. Skillet blew the roof off. They put on an awesome performance and you can tell they're not in it for themselves. The band was full of energy from start to finish and even closed out the show with an encore. Will definitely be back when they have another lineup like this one.

We went here to eat dinner before a show. Food was good but service was a little slow. They were pretty slammed but I would have expected they would have brought in extra staff to handle to rush on show night. The show was good but was very disappointed in the handing of underage drinking. Two young men clearly wearing under 21 wristbands got out of hand and really unruly while clearly drinking out of PBR cans. They were pulled to the side but then allowed to return and continued to ruin the show. Disappointing.

This place was so cool. It was my firs time going (went to the bon Jovi tribute ). The outside was rustic and has that old rock/jazz feel to it. They also have a restaurant and house of blues gear shop. The line was not to bad but to get in early you could spend 25 or more at the restaurant or get prepaid advanced tickets. Security was thorough and very polite. We met some very nice people in line and had a chat while waiting to get in. The venue was the perfect temperature for a indoor venue. They had multiple bar areas with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well as snacks. The DJ was very interactive with the audience. It was not very packet which is a good thing for claustrophobic people like myself. Every thing was great about the place

I loved the outside environment! The sweet water sunday band was very nice! The only thing is when you sit outside they pack your food to go and the portions is small for the price. This is a place to come, relax and get your dance on and just do you.

Tracy, our server, was phenomenal, recommended a good wine and our food choices, showed us around the place, answered our questions joyfully. Live music was also really good. Other wait staff also made our evening enjoyable. Thank you HOB, we'll definitely be back and bring friends!

My first visit to House of Blues was last evening with my family from Myrtle Beach, Florida and Wisconsin. The young man who greeted us was very warm and friendly. Our waitress was also delightful, informative and efficient. The food was delicious and the eclectic display of art and artifacts interesting. A very good dining experience. I ll be back.

Music was good, drinks weak, food was ok. Real issue was booking online does not tell you general admission is standing only and if you upgrade to seating they DO NOT subtract from the cost of general admission already paid

This was my second visit for Sunday Brunch. My besties and I took our Moms during our Mother/daughter weekend and wanted to do something fun and memorable. I called about a month in advance to reserve our place and inquired about vegan options. The first Lady I spoke with was very helpful and offered suggestions of half price for the adult since the menu would only have a few options to fit a vegan diet. I called back about two weeks prior to our arrival to ensure the menu would offer enough options for $30 or if there was a possibility of offering a special vegan plate. Terrie, the manager was not helpful at all. He insisted that there would be several vegan items available, but could never provide any information on the specific number. Several could have been 2-3 items... He also would not provide information of what the items would consist of, even after supposedly speaking with the chef. I asked him about the offer of half price, as mentioned earlier and he declined that as well. The phone call made me not want to attend, but since the group was already excited, we attended anyway. There were not several items available to accommodate a vegan's dietary needs. There was a vegetable tray with minimal items and squash/zucchini combination... House of Blues need to do better when talking with customers and having a variety of eating options. Customer Service is important, no matter who the customers are. Do better!!

Off the path location. About 3 others Music's type business together. Concert was good.Good entertainment. Setup more for 25-40 yrs age kids. Would be a lot nicer if setup more like concert hall. But business setup more for bar type crowds. Not really for Music entertainment.

I was so excited to win 2 free tickets to Marshal Tucker Band. I thought I reserved a table for concert but when we arrived was told table at restaurant where you could not hear the band. My friend and I are both disabled and unable to stand for hours. So we left. Apparently you have to pay extra above and beyond for a seat which is ridiculous for a concert venue. Bartender tried to find us seats but was unsuccessful.

Our New Year's experience was very questionable. A small bowl of soup, nice salad and your choice of 3 entrees and a tiny dessert for $ 190 a couple.
The band was good but they crammed a few more tables on the dance floor which really crowded the dancers.
All of that was ok but really got me was when I got the bill for drinks. They charged $14 for each mixed drink ! That is such gouging that we will never return. It's just a shame you took what could have been a decent evening into a night to remember in the wrong way !

Awesome place, great service, good food, nice ambiance. Was there for breakfast and dinner 7/2/18. Kids are free Mondays, but you have to ask for it. They have a mystery dinner I would have liked to have done, but would have been difficult with the kids.

Wasn't able to enjoy this place. We called ahead at 7 an they failed to mention dinner stopped being served inside at 9pm. Our hotel was 30 min away. When we arrived at 845 was told we had to be outside in the heat. Needles to say we left. There was a nice band playing and the atmosphere seemed pretty decent. Being from out of town an our last night was dissapointed.

We saw Purple Maddness and the show was nice. It's the first time we went to a show there. It's a very nice place to enjoy live entertainment. It was nice to be able to enjoy a show in that type of environment where you have table service. We enjoyed it so much we will be going again in the near future.

Thanksgiving Buffet was a huge disappointment! Had to wait for almost everything on the buffet. I seen one guy scraping up bits of turkey for his plate. They were completely out of beef. When food did come out, it was just ok. Rolls cold, turkey dry. Salad was a tray of lettuce and another tray of mixed greens. Had to wait on deserts to come out too. Wife asked if this was their first year doing a Thanksgiving buffet. Manager told her they had done it 20 years? Wow. $34 a person. HOUSE OF DISAPPOINTMENT!
