Was at the convention center for an event. The event was catered well and set up professionally. Only complaint I had is they ran out of certain food items during the event. Other than that the atmosphere, parking and event were great. Look forward to going to other events here in the future.

A fun resort experience, with wonderful amenities, restaurants, and activities. Only minutes away from Disney!

The beds are fine but the rooms (at least the ones in the east tower) seem to be over 20 years old.

Great place with multiple restaurants. However, it is old enough that it still has popcorn ceilings.

A beautiful hotel with an absolutely beautiful pool! Many things to do inside the hotel as well. Parking should be free for visitors and Wi-Fi should be free for all as well. The Lasershow they do at night by the pool is neat but extremely dated, I certainly felt like I was in the early nineties with all the lasers and especially the music. Nice to have something though.

Amazin service and beautiful hotel. Food at the pool area is soooo overpriced, aside from that everything else is amazing!

My brother is visiting for an expo and we wanted to spend some time there but there was no place to park. I don't mean there were too many cars, I mean there was no clear place to park and the valets were nowhere to be found.

Beautiful hotel. Very huge place! Remember to drop breadcrumbs. Only downside is internet access is $15/day. You would figure if you are paying $250/night for a hotel they would throw in free internet. Nope.

We used the pool while staying at the Marriott Vacation Club Sabal Palms. The pool is not as nice as the one at the JW Marriott. There are some big water slides but my kids were disappointed that the slides closed very early and didn't open until 11am. The laser light show every night is cool, but overall, we were expecting more from the World Center pool.

We normally love staying here but this time we had a few issues. Had to change rooms because we were above machinery that sounded like a jet engine. The hotel charges a $25/day resort fee understandably if you use the facilities. I complained we used nothing, were hardly in our room and they refused to credit it back saying its their policy. What I don't understand is its its their policy why not raise the dam price of the room? You have to pay it anyway and then you won't feel as violated with the nonsense amenity fee that you don't use.

Great conference center for large audiences. Excellent mix of restaurants and service providers, including an on site Starbucks. Pools convenient to rooms.

The market pantry is always stocked with amazing goodies and customer service is superb. Would recommend staying here for visiting Disney

This resort is amazing, pricey but it has a lot to offer for the price. Fantastic for business meetings with its multiple rooms and great for the family. Multiple pools for the family, Spa for relaxing and an on site golf course. Restaurants on site, store, Starbucks, etc ..

Terrible customer service! Never enough staff at the lounge to accommodate the large groups. The worst hotel for noise- rooms in the EAST tower near the lobby are the worst. The hotel allows business groups to have bands perform until 1 am. No regard for the sleep of the people in the rooms surrounding the lobby. In addition, I left my IPOD (used to drown out the noise of the band) in my room. I called within an hour of departing, requesting they retrieve it from my room. No one responded until the next day. The lost and found manager is a joke and this business trip cost me a new IPOD.

This resort is insanely beautiful and fun! Everyone was so courteous and friendly. I hope to visit again in the future.

Very nice location, staff was exceptionally nice room had a beautiful view to the pool and enjoyed the dining options available on property. Unfortunately the parking was in main issue in a major inconvenience to stay, but that due to the hotel being at 99% occupancy

The amenities are great, but when busy the front desk is disorganized and chaotic.

this was absolutely STUNNING. food is very pricy- but the experience was great. great for bringing your kids here.

The hotel was very nice. I stopped in to use the FedEx shop. The other shops were very nice as well.

Location is close to many of the nearby parks. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable and the hotel has a good selection of dining options. The major disappointment is despite the cost per night for a hotel of this standard breakfast is not included and may cost you up to $28 for the buffet option.

I stay here each year and loved everybit of it..the kids pool is my favorite I give Star the Lifeguard 6 Stars for her love for kids, attitude & love of Hitler job. Entertaining the kids and showing her pure genuine heart & passion for everyone. Kudos to STAR!!!

Nice hotel. I had some issues with billing that took quite a while for them to figure out. Juan in the lobby lounge is a rock star great employee and definitely an asset to the company .

This is definitely my favorite Marriott property. The customer service is excellent. We were staying here for my birthday trip to Disney World in October. During check in, the staff at the Marriott Elite Desk went above and beyond to not only upgrade us for our Gold Elite status, they also delivered a dessert to my room to wish me a happy birthday! I wish we had spent more time enjoying the hotel during our trip. There s several good restaurants on property and a massive swimming pool! We will definitely be returning next time we vacation in Orlando.

Accommodations are excellent, great food options, nice amenities.

The rooms are nice sized and the pool is amazing. There is a good selection for food. However, food is very overpriced.

We stayed at the Imperial Palms next door and used the World Marriott facilities. Both were fantastic! I was so afraid after reading these reviews but it was amazing. The Imperial was updated, 3 bedrooms and great. The World was clean, modern and a great laser light shown over the pool with molusco at 9pm. Wonderful time!

Worst service ever. There was No one to help us with luggage and there were no luggage carts. Bad instructions to find the north tower and the room. No instructions where anything is, I had to go back to ask twice and had wait each time for "my turn." Then they sent us to the North tower but to the wrong floor the room card codes are not clear at all and even the house keeping ladies didn't know how to read the room card either so I went back to the first floor and asked another employee and she couldn't read the room card properly either, really,? Come on Marriot! So I had to call the front desk from my cell phone to navigate the hotel to my room. For $300+ a night this is unacceptable service. They act like they don't care you're l here. Stay somewhere else! Hampton Inn I stayed in last night for half the money had better service.
Update: after settling in we had a noise problem outside our room from a noisy boiler room or fan of Marriotts, to which the front desk acknowledged so I asked for some ear plugs to alleviate the problem only to be told they have none but I can purchase them at gift shop, which was already closed. :) really?
So they offered to move us at 11:30 pm to another room which turned out to be the other wall facing the same noise, omg this can't be happening I said. My wife was not too happy about moving to the other wall with the noise source still outside our window. I sent a upsetting letter that night to corporate and the next morning Judy a nice lady with Customer Care moved us to a quiet room and comped our meal from the night before.

The Maxwell group I am with here with apologized and offered to refund our fist night and move us to another hotel which we declined.
Things appear to be normal now after visiting Disney for 3 days we are finally enjoying this nice hotel and our 4 day conference. Hopefully this will all end well. The food was good and the new room
(Rm3) was restful.
The last 3 nights of a 8 night stay always uneventful except when checking out, I was charged 2 nights parking for a car We didn't have. We took a shuttle Omg. What happened to this once great hotel chain?

Beautiful hotel. Great for kids and families. Very close to Disney with free shuttle. This hotel boasts one of the largest pools in Orlando with some great slides. Facilities were very clean. We will definitely be back.

When we were ordering our rooms, they really pushed for us to get the upgraded room with the view of the laser pool. We decided against it and thank goodness we did, because the laser pool wasn't even working.

But that aside, we get there and they don't have the rooms we reserved, so they tell us either we can get rooms that are 5 floors away from each other or rooms next to each other but there wouldn't be any water from 9am-4pm. We decide we would rather be near by each other, but they wouldn't give is a discount on the room.
Then, we paid for 2 rooms with king size beds, however one of us had to get a queen and it was still the same price as a king. The person who helped us was very rude as well.
However, their pool is very nice and the rooms were very clean. But it was just so many bad experiences.

Loved the outdoor pool area. The rooms were nice. I would've liked free WiFi.

I have to say that out of so many hotels we've stayed at in Orlando this one is by far the worst hotel. We usually go to Orlando 5-6 times a year and we like to experience different hotels in the area. But this one is by far the worst especially for the price.

1- After we checked in the tried to authorize my credit card 3-4 times, without ordering any incidentals.

2- On our 3rd night there our room was cleaned by never provided us with toilet paper, I had to ask the cleaning lady for a roll and she had the nerve to catch an attitude.

3- One of the days we decided to wake up a little late so we missed our room service to be cleaned in the morning, we happened to see the room service lady and kindly asked if she can tidy up our room she rudely said "she was on a schedule and we had to wait until next day"

4- We took our daughter to the game room, well good luck with that almost none of the game are operating especially the air hockey machine.

5- Good luck having fun in the pool area because majority of the people that we're there are just rude.

6- For self-parking you have to take a shuttle bus to and from the hotel, we were waiting 20-30 minutes for the shuttle.

We just had an awful experience with this place, in the next few weeks we have to go back to Orlando and this place is off the list, I will make sure to spread the word on social media about this dump.

Fantastic location for a conference - more than enough space and things to do. Bring a sweater - the central air keeps everyone focused and freezing. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is HUGE! It's easy to get lost if it's your first time there. However, the room was clean when I got there, and they even de-feathered my room because of my allergies! Abby from the "At your service" department was very helpful for the time I was there. I will definitely visit again!

Very very large hotel with many rooms. There are about 10 different restaurants in different areas.

Nice pool with lots of lounging areas around it, and free beach towels.

Close to Disney World and Epcot Center. Of course also Disney springs and Cirque du Soleil.

I've been here twice now for conferences and think it is a great place. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the property is well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful.

The pools are among the best in Orlando and the golf course is great as well.

Falls pool was excellent, highly recommend. Shiro service was great, food ok. Room bed and pillows are so incredibly uncomfortable and front desk/manager service wasn't as professional as you would expect. Was very pleased we were able to check into the room before 3pm. Had fun but too many other great options in orlando area for hotels to go back.

Nice hotel. The hotel and rooms are a bit dated but for the price, it's nice. My kids loved the pool but there were a lot of mosquitos at night sitting by the pool even in late December. Though it was a bit pricey, the breakfast buffet was also really good.

Outstanding views of the city of Florida for the sakes of fun and excitement. After enjoy a quick round of golf at hawks landing, as well as feeling up your belly in the same sitting. I recommend before heading up to your room to take a quick flight in the elevator to the 28th floor, to enjoy a unique view of the beautiful city that is Orlando Florida as well as to enjoy the beautiful architecture implemented by the designer. But make sure to use the elevator On the same side of the entrance revolving doors.

Very large building I really like the pools and 4 restaurants.

The hotel, gardens and swimming pools is gorgeous the rooms are very clean and the house keepers deserves all my respects . Be careful not to touch the snacks as they have a sensor and you will be charged, look carefully your bill when you check out. I was charged for refreshments which I never used the bar, when I mention they corrected the bill Also the self park is 15 dollars a day and we have to walk 5 to 10 minutes to the main lobby there is a shutter that can bring you back and forward the drivers are very polite except for one, he did not help with my suitcase I m 61 year hold women and it s not easy to bring a suitcase up two steps to get in the shutter, on Friday morning June 08 2012 this man driving that shutter had no compaction, even if was not his job he should have give a hand. There for I do not recommend this hotel to holder woman alone

During covid the weekend was super chill. Nice relaxing time

We rented a 2 bedroom condo. It was great. Full kitchen, living room, nice bedrooms. Also had a washer and dryer. They had a kids play area with video games and human sized chess games for the kids. Also, multiple water slides and pools for adults and kids. Waterfall. Big screen TVs. On side grocery store. Pretty much everything you would need for a great vacation.

Huge property. I didn't stay, I only dropped in for a meeting, but very nice place.

Excellent place. Great facility. There are three hot tubs, a 24 hour workout center, great concierge, and three restaurant. Not so good cell service on the 1st floor, but the lobby is on the 2nd floor. Pick up/drop off area always busy. Plenty of balcony views.
