I stayed for business, but still enjoyed relaxing. The hotel is very comfortable. Even facing the back side of the hotel, not the pool, there is beauty in the landscape. I feel like I can see all the way across florida. The only downside is the layout. It takes a day or two to get oriented to where you are and how to get places. Overall I would come back when on vacation.

A little expensive, but good tasting food and a nice environment

We stayed for 3 nights. First impression was good, glass elevators nice touch. Starbucks & gift shop in lobby. We booked our stay with points & were given a room in the east tower which had a view of the Orlando Eye & the rooftop air conditioners which were we could hear but it wasn't bad enough to ask for a different room. No wait time for elevators from 12th floor. First impression of room, good. The carpet looked very clean which is always a bonus. The room overall was very nice with a sofa & a desk with a comfortable computer chair. The wifi was great, tv could definitely be bigger & have more channels to choose from. Bed very comfortable...very important to us. Considering the size of this hotel we were pleasantly surprised at the pressure of the shower & almost instantaneous hot water! Also, the towels were thick & soft. There was no noise at all after about 10 pm, very quiet which we are always thankful for. The doors do close loudly, it can't be helped, we did it too. The only restaurant we ate in was Solaris as breakfast was included in our room rate. It was wonderful. Our waitress explained to us that we should partake of the buffet even though it is $27 per person because ordering off the menu with juice & coffee added would be just as much & the chefs at the buffet will make anything you want right there, fresh...& they did. I asked for eggs Benedict & they were perfect, hollandaise sauce excellent . One morning I asked for blueberry pancakes, again, excellent. You still have all the other buffet items that you want. The fruit was some of the best I have ever had. Service was great. The other restaurants were too expensive. There are many food choices within a short driving distance. The Black Angus was excellent. Quality first rate, portions huge, we could have shared. Back to the Mariott..no complaints about staff, all friendly & helpful. Self parking should be free..money grab...all the hotels are doing it & it's just wrong. Valet parking for a few dollars more is worth it but they did mess up twice by not communicating with each other but they still expect a tip! We had a very expensive drink at the pool bar but he did offer to make us anything we wanted. The resort fee you HAVE to pay is another rip off, but it does include a shuttle to Disney parks.
At check in a bellhop was there immediately to take our luggage. Front desk staff friendly, provided a map of the hotel & info on our included breakfast. Concierge 1st day less than helpful, 2nd day better. Valet staff always asked if we needed directions to anywhere. Didn't use the pools because rainy, windy & too cold but they looked really nice.
Location is good, close to Disney Springs & Epcot which we wanted. I would recommend this hotel if it is in your price range.

Love this hotel. The pool is huge and great on a hot day, my kids love the water falls. The laser light show is a fun added bonus. Rooms nice and clean. Conference center handy and elevators always quick.

Great place to spend for a holiday/vacation or just a home away from home.

Spent a week here for vacation a few weeks back and it was an amazing time! The location is pretty easy to get in and out, might have to go around a few times to find a parking place there were quite a few vacationers there that week. The food was very good and our room had a full size fridge and other utilities. Had a blast in the pool and exploring around the building. Overall it was an amazing experience and I will definitely be back!

I am completely disappointed in the lack of service or hospitality from this hotel's front desk team. This was my first time to this place, and I came here because my friends recommended it. The front desk agents were nothing but rude. My friend and I ordered a couple of drinks from Starbucks, and we asked to have our each of our names on the cups (to make sure everyone had the correct drinks and prevent cross contamination for one of our friends) and the barista flat out said no, even after we explained the situation. I had an issue with both of our bathroom sinks not working. I had to explain the situation multiple times, and eventually nothing got solved. It seemed whenever I had a question, the concierges and agents were not interested or just didn't care.
On the bright side, Jaqui from Latitude and Longitude was awesome! Everyone in the Spa we're phenomenal and so sweet!
I met a very sweet Bellhop man, and everyone from the valet and bellhop were sweet!

Very clean, very relaxing. Parking situation was garbage but, I feel like it'll get sorted better in the future.

The Marriott is okay... It is primarily a convention hotel. It is quite isolated... nowhere to walk. It doesn't help that they don't really have room service... Instead they have "fresh bites" which is like airport, pre packaged food. My room was on a floor that seemed to have a terrible mold problem (14th floor, North Tower). The smell was horrible near the elevator, but fortunately my room was way down the hall. However, the toilet in my room made a horrible whine that would go on for a full minute... Didn't dare flush in the middle of the night for fear of waking up all the neighbors. They said they would fix it, but they didn't. Rest of hotel is nice. Probably best for those who have a car.

Place is huge. Kids loved the pools and water slides. Though the room was mediocre. Several resturants and bars inside the resort but the price of EVERYTHING was so expensive. Expected more bang for my buck

This is my second opinion about this hotel, definitively I am only since Friday and I as a customer service trainer see some deficiencies in the service. Yesterday I had an unpleasant experience with a front desk woman whose body language I simply had to report the rude way that was addressed to me because a partner asked that they needed someone who spoke Spanish and she made a rude gesture from that the partner asked for it. I have to report it to the front desk manager. And today again, I see that here they walk or misinformed or do not feel like reporting well. They had told me that they had a shuttle that went to the mall and that the last of them left at 3:40. I'm going to ask for the same to ride it and surprise me that there is no shuttle to the mall here. Definitely, although I had already given my opinion about this hotel a few days ago, making it acceptable, the staff of this hotel believe that: either you are not attending the training or human resources you are not choosing the staff with Marriott standards, or maybe already Marriott They lowered their service standards and the expectations they have of their staff are not very high. As quality is being lost when we relax the service standards. If I would go back to this hotel for the next one, I do not think, unless I did not have another one due to a convention

Nice resort, great outdoor pool with large TVs, great for all ages and fun activities.
There is nothing close that you can walk too, only within the resort and that s it. A little older but has everything you need.

Amazing rooms awesome hotel staff and great idea and amenities

This resort has everything a family could ever want in a vacation experience. Tip: avoid a room in the main tower facing the lobby it s quite noisy.

Attended work convention at World Center Marriot. Very helpful staff and excellent food and beverage. Had a great experience with a bartender named Henry who went the extra mile to be friendly and helpful.

Absolutely superb site and accommodations. The rooms could use some updating. Otherwise it's a bit expensive with parking and resort fees.

This is an old excellent location and has a great deal of amenities. If you are a fan of Disney this is where you want to stay if not on property. Why? Get a balcony view towards the parks and you can view all the fireworks in the Disney parks.

A good hotel, although tremendously large. You get lost

Every year around spring break we stay here. This time you guys showed out. Great customer service from the bells man to room service. Room service & by the pool food is inexpensive very tasty. The adult drinks are worth the bucks.

The place was great, very clean, food was good, nice artwork, it was a great place all around and I can't wait to go again.

Nice grand hotel, large conference rooms, awesome staff

Good location but is very large. Can be hard to locate where you need to go once parked.

Nice place to visit in family, with excellent views if you stay in the East Tower with views to pool. I also stayed in the west tower one night and the rooms and views are not thst good. So this 5 star review is because the nice and clean room in the East Tower and the excellent staff in general.

The hotel is very conveniently located right next to Disney, but also close to Universal Studios and a ton of restaurants, if you want to eat away from the parks. It is very nice, although I wish the room had a little fridge we could use, instead of a mini bar we have no interest in.

Parking directions for the event were clear, signs to get to the gala were at all the right points. The setup was very crisp, with tables, booths, and bars laid out nicely. The wall opened to reveal the dinner seating. Light shows and fog had an excellent effect. Dinner was delicious. Drinks were provided and well-poured. Overall it was a very good experience.

Pretty awesome experience, the Orlando World Center was very stylish and the pool was awesome even though I did not get to try out the Slide that they have. The view was amazing from the room that we were able to get a hold of, the "Pool view". they also had the lightupthenight when we stayed there, It was awesome, This place was pretty close to other destinations which made it great.

Parking garage is not free and can be a long walk to the Hotel registration but there is a shuttle.

As a National Pandemic has been declared by the government, locally and Nationally we had to cancel all of our plans. Most company's including Chase Card services even understands. What a difference 12 hours makes. They did the right thing and gave me the refund. It seems as though they had to be coerced to do so.

Great way to spend spring break 2018 with my 3 beautiful kids. Lots of activities and great staff! We will definitely be returning for our summer vacation in June. Derrick from NC!

Very clean rooms, friendly staff, good service, amazing restaurants specially the bar at the pool

Caveat for pool view rooms:

The facility and amenities are excellent but pool-view rooms may come with a noise premium. The music, lasers and TVs around the pool aren't the issue, it's the guests partying from 1-3 AM with no support from security or management. After bottles/glasses started being broken, security finally stepped in and cleared everyone out.

It's my second stay with a pool view and nothing like this happened the first time.

If you get pool view and want to sleep, bring a sound machine (or App) and some earplugs.

Parking is either valet and be prepared to wait a long time or self park with a 5-10 minute walk, depending on where your room is located.

The parking, bell and front desk staff were pros.

One of two worst hotel experiences ever; both @ #Marriott brands. Too many service failures, too much disappointment to list.

Order of magnitude overpriced, under staffed, 'way oversized facility, confusing to navigate, lines after lines after lines.

I will sleep in my car before I give these people any more money.

Awesome the complex. Although very expensive since for the price paid for the room did not include breakfast or you have to pay parking at $ 25 per day.

We could stay put right at the resort and be 100% happy. The pool areas were all great! Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. All the staff that we had come into contact with were both professional and courteous not to mention very knowledgeable. We ate at 3 Restaurants and they were all amazing! Pricey but wonderful food and staff and ambiance, you get what you pay for. They make sure you are 100% happy with your choice too! Our room was clean and orderly upon our arrival and housekeeping helped it stay that way throughout our stay. It was nice to see that they allowed smoking on the bolcany alongside the fire pits and don't shove smokers into a corner outside away from everyone. Nice place to enjoy our cigars. We appreciated the concierge service as well. We bought our Disney park tickets for a nice price last minute. Very knowledgeable about the parks too! Even free transportation to and from the parks. Valet parking was a no hassle dream. My husband is a disabled vet and being able to pull up in front and not worry about walking a long distance was great! Even when we showed up in a 6 speed Wrangler, which is our baby, they were knowledgeable about driving it and even complimented it. Arrival was a breeze and extremely easy. The entire hotel no matter where we went was clean and orderly. (The bathrooms even smelled beautiful) what a wonderful place to pick for a vacation. We will definitely be returning in the future.

There is something for everyone here, kids and parents, couples, singles, business trips, leisure... You name it. Was highly pleased!

While at the hotel, we lost a coat with rental car keys inside it. Hotel staff assured us the coat had not been turned in to Lost and Found. We checked in 3 locations every day. On day 4, we finally paid $300 to have the car towed and rekeyed. The following day they found the coat and keys and said it had "been backlogged in a several bins of items lost during the conference." If Marriott is going to host such large conferences, they should be able to keep up with Lost and Found in a timely manner, or should compensate quests for their inadequate customer service. The claims department said "well, if you hadn't lost the coat, you wouldn't have had to rely on our customer service." While this is true at face value, even with the best of intents, people do lose things in hotels and a high level hotel should be set up to help you instead of blaming you for the whole issue. We have received much better customer service from hotels that cost much, much less!

I stayed here and I must say great experience awesome customer service. And Kenny was so awesome to us. He had great customer service which he is at the front desk he had such great people skills. I enjoyed staying at this location our house keeping was great and each time that had courtesy when we needed something brought to our room. I love how big the outdoor pool was and different pools out there so you can enjoy the awesome weather it was while we were there. Thank you again Marriott keep up the good work. LaShona & Karlton!!! :)

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very nice and it's close to Disney which is great and you can even see the fireworks. The only problem is parking which is horrendous. Self-righteous is $20+ and about a 10 minute walk from the lobby. Valet is $30+ and took a half hour every time we tried it.

People who work at the resort are very helpful, but the room needs some cosmetics. The lock latch was missing and the shutters on the closet were broken.

My favorite hotel!! The spa is wonderful and the blo dry hair bar does great updo's for a special occasion. Honestly I don't leave the hotel because it had everything you need. From cool clothes to good food and even a pantry that sells healthy snacks to liquor. Love this Marriott. Also laser lights on the weekend pool side

We stayed in Sabal Palms villas. They were very good.

The hotel is very clean and has a pleasant ambience. It has a few restaurants. My coworker and I shared a few starters at the Italian restaurant, which we lked. Lunch at the open restaurant by the pool, where I had tacos, was not very successful. Service was excellent in both restaurants. The ballrooms where the professional conference was held was uncomfortably cold. FREEZING! The entire 8 hours I felt like I was dropped at the North Pole.

My family stayed for a You Tube convention at this hotel. Front desk was not friendly. When they asked for late check out because we are members of silver elite with marriot that allows us to have late check out, they gave us an attitude and said it depended on availability, which is not true, and that they could only allow 1 hr later than regular check out. The manager Brian Loomis, was worse than the front desk attendant. His condescendent attitude was offensive and disgusting. I will never go to a hotel like this again, and I believe you should not either. Maybe they will learn some manners and ways to please their loyal silver members guests!

Beautiful resort but $23 for parking per day is a bit much

Wonderful resort! Amenities are great and the service is great.

Could of stayes at the resorts all week but had to go to the other parks in the area.

Came back to a flat tire from the Valet. The Valet was very helpful and apologetic. I was hoping to get at least an apology from the front desk. They told me I assume all risk and there is nothing they can do. This is not the type of service I expect from Marriott. They need a policy or procedure for this type of incident. Very disappointing.

Everything was great the resort is absolutely beautiful!! The service & staff are wonderful!!

This is my second time staying here. The staff is always super friendly, the hotel is spotless, the restaurants are delicious and there are so many activities that you could just vacation at the hotel.

I was visiting for a conference. The grounds are beautiful and the conference area is extensive. Parking is bit pricey, but overall really lovely.

Great pool area and place to hang out in the evening. Lazer light show was pretty cool. Only disappointment was that the pool bar closed way too early and they made hundreds of guests go to the overcrowded indoor bar for drinks.
