Great air show great food and lots of rides and souvenir's.

I come through this airport 4-5 times a year on average and I think TSA precheck has been opened one time I ve been here in the last two years. The employees are friendly but slow at everything they do.

I have it flown Allegiant or a little while and there are some major changes!! You can't even tell from your boarding pass your terminal. Everybody's asking everybody where to go even boarding the plane has become extremely complicated. The plane seats are smaller than ever and the size of the serving trays maybe 6" by 10". It's just terrible and the worst part is that we're paying more money!

Easy place to know and love the massage chairs keep them

Very disappointed in their concern for the safety of their customers! The overhead page says over and over how they are concerned for our safety and it's mandatory to wear a mask. Yet there are many people in the waiting areas not wearing masks or wearing them properly. And no one from the airport asking people to place them on. I know it's my choice to travel this way but if people cannot respect the standards in place then they should find another mode of travel.

Small airport with easy access, friendly staff, rental cars, small shops and restaurants. Long term parking, waiting cell lot, easy drop off and pick up. Prices are like typical airport prices.

Airport is very easy to navigate and get through. TSA line was long but moved fairly quickly

Never on time. Seats are terrible, don't recline, are small and hard. Drinks should always be free, ticket prices are already high enough.

I am so sorry to be writing these complaint. I really wanted too like Allegiant Air/Sandford airport. I am a new customer too Allegiant. Unfortunately I will not be a recurring customer. I am troubled by my experience with Allegiant Air employees at the Sandford, Orlando Location. I had A wonderful time going to Sandford from Memphis. The crew was excellent! From the Pilot been informative about the flight; to the wonderful ticket agent. Everything & everyone was excellent! On the way back from Sandford to Memphis is where everything want horribly wrong. I was traveling with family and we had got caught in a bad storm which made us arrive at the airport late. Yes after the check in time. My father who was 10 seconds ahead of myself and my family, was able to get his boarding pass printed off. When it was my family and myself turn we was not able to receive our boarding pass. I was very hurt and distraught. I did not agree with what had just happened but I remained respectful. I pathetically have to say the Allegiant Supervisior on duty at 5:10 am was not respectful. I understand the policy is put there for a safety issue and as well to keep everything going as it should. But my discomfort comes from the Superviosr on duty demeanor. She was very uncaring, attitude was very despicable and just unacceptable. She yelled at me and would not allow for me to speak at all. It was a very hurtful situation. I am very ashamed for her to say the least. My two small kids was standing beside me and how she spoke to me in front of my family was so unbecoming for a women. It was very hard for me too grasp the fact that she did not care at all about us. Rather we had enough funds to get another flight home nor if we would be okay. It was Obvious she did not care. The flight was delayed due to weather. When I spoke too the outstanding customer service representative on the phone we was able to get a flight to Nashville. The flight was free, I thank Allegiant for the tickets been free. We had to get a rental car and drive from Nashville too Memphis so we could make it back home. My husband could not return to work and had to call out due to us getting home so late. All and all I am thankful to be back home safely with my family. But the horrible at experience at the Sandford Orlando is truly hurtful. I pray no other family has too go through that ordeal that my family was subjected too.

3 stars because flying in and out of here will save you money. Everything else...gross. Terminal B only has one restroom for the entire terminal. Very limited food options. Eat before you get here. The Port Paradise bar served the nastiest burger for TEN dollars. It was served cold. I won't be surprised if I get food poisoning. Staff everywhere was quick enough but hardly professional. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Crowded...hot...smelly. I guess you are getting what you pay for when choosing to fly with Allegiant. Budget airline...budget airport.

Very very frustrating experience picking up friends flying in from the UK . Bad signage for arriving international flights and miss information from staff. Basically you wait in the street for your guests to arrive .who clear immigration just as flustered due to the long waits due to understaffing .

Waited over a half hour for the bags to start coming and we were the only flight waiting. Not very cool.

The airport itself was a decent size and looked clean. The staff was inattentive.

Nice small airport, but only ground transport available is rental cars and taxis; it's a two hour walk from nearest bus station, with no sidewalks available in some areas.

Reminds me of a nursing home! Have the applesauce ready! Airport is filled with fake plants everywhere with the ambience of oldies music playing...an elderly persons dream. Very small airport and Extremely slow TSA, security and check in. Area around this airport very shady. I had a man attack my car and try to break the glass with a flash light around the corner. No hotels in sight and the ones that are is outrageous! Fly into another area for the love of God

This airport looks like it belongs in a third world country!!!! What a mess

The only way you will gain the attention of any type of customer service resolution with this airport is if you raise a legitimate grievance with local news agencies, legal counsel regarding matters of negligence, misconduct, customer service failures, and shady business practices.

Allegiant supposedly operates within this airport, however I was told by sandford airport supervisors that there are zero allegiant employees working in the airport. Is this true? Is it a lie? Who knows ? If you look at Allegiant's website, they state: at every airport they serve, a customer resolution officer (or CRO) will be staffed to deal with customer service matters in person during regular business hours. Sanford airport supervisors informed me that this type of employee is not staffed there, and they gave me a phone number that was useless. Basically you will be written off and kicked down the road with no way to really resolve your issue.

If you have a customer service related incident, expect to be lied to/misinformed and written off completely. You will be directed to dead-ends and to people that are useless, hang up on you, don't call back, ect.

Don't waste your time dealing with sanford airport employees, they are useless when it comes to customer service. Instead, document the incident, take their names (which are probably not even their real names) and depending on the severity of the grievance, inform local news sources, legal counsel if there is a legal basis for complaint, media platforms, ect. There are a variety of ways to spread awareness. I am doing my part to share the customer service failure that exists in this airport.

Great airport, I much prefer flying in here than Orlando International. Security can be a pain, but again, much better than the larger airports. Terminal A lacks seating, especially around gates 9 & 10, but the Wi-Fi is good and things move along. Allegiant flies into this airport which is perfect for me. Will definitely continue to use and recommend this airport.

I just love the Sanford airport. Whenever I book a flight wherever I'm going if I can fly out of Sanford, I'll do it. So very happy they've been expanding service too, because now I fly out of here more often.

Easy breezy check in. Often new weight for early flights.

Very small by comparison with MCO though they do have a few offerings for foodie things and small sundry shopping if that's important.

Rentals or ubering/lyfting in and out is easy.

Convenient cell phone lot too.

Overall, my favorite place to fly in and out of.

Nice airport. Clean very easy to get out to my ride that was waiting . Will definitely use that airport again

I like this airport sure it's small but no huge crowds you won't get lost in a sea of people and flights are clean 5 stars all the way

They had us wait forever to get on the plane and tried to separate a 4 year old girl and her mother. This was before they stole underwear from our luggage. My parents also had stuff from their luggage stolen. I dont trust this place at all and will avoid flying from them if possible.

Very disappointed in this airport, one of the Worse airports I've ever been to.

Do not use this place they overcharge after rental even though I check my documents and looked all over the car and took photos of the car they still got me for tolls that I didn't pay, which I did pay,
I've been to Florida 20 times and and we always pay them. They have just charged me again 4 months after my return home.

Make sure to show up 4 hours before your flight or you will have a chance of not making your flight which was said by a worker there. We showed up an hour before our flight (5am) and when we tried to get our bags checked they said that it was too late to board our (6am) flight. We missed our flight because they threw us around to 3 people who had no idea what they were talking about. They said they couldn't tell anyone we were on our way so by the time we got to the gate it was already shut. I recommend not flying allegiant or using this airport. They made us spend extra money to reschedule the flight when they probably just resold our seats.

I don't go to an airport to eat; I don't fly to have in-flight snacks. I fly to go from point A to point B. I travel with carry-on and check in on-line and have no issues with check-in lines (anymore. I used to do the check-in-my-bags thing and it WAS difficult!) I've never had an issue with TSA and I have traveled through SFB 2-3 times per year for 8 years. I usually get TSA precheck at SFB (but not so much in other airports). The airport is easy to get in and out of. Never had an issue at this airport.

I want to give a shoutout to Dania for putting Francisco in his place. If you're already late for a flight, nobody SHOULD be going out of their way to accomodate you. It's honestly YOUR responsibility to manage YOUR time, just like it was Dania's responsibility to manage her time. It's a conflict of interest to put Francisco's needs above other people's simply because Francisco was "late to a flight." Next time, don't stop to make an order if you're late. It's a common courtesy to yourself and the people around you. FURTHERMORE, Francisco's small inconvenience at an airport starbucks DOES NOT REFLECT ON THE AIRPORT.

If you are a new traveler to Orlando -Sanford airport, there should be a Information Booth that has a permanent person stationed there to help them out!

Not a lot to offer inside of this smaller airport in terms of vendor variety and restaurants, however the staff were nice and polite.

05/10/19 approx. 910 am.

No need to have TSA Precheck here. After going and getting our TSA precheck to make it easier. Sanford Airport is still in the backwoods. TSA Precheck line was closed. First TSA employee gave us a card saying we were Precheck and to take out our liquids and electronics bigger than cell pphone. So we did. We did not have to remove our belt and shoes. At conveyor belt, TSA staff (very nice man of color gentleman) said we did not have take out our liquids or my mini iPad as we did and were told to and to place them back in our backpacks. Next we had to go through metal detector. We walked through with our belts and shoes as we were told. The TSA employee a lady with very short hair rudely said we were suppose to take them off before walking through. I asked why did have TSA Precheck if we had to do all the things the Precheck cleared us for. She rudely, talked down to us and she began to explain to us how a metal detector works. They are very confusing, they contradict each other which cause uneccessary stress on themselves and passengers, which holds up the line. GET IT TOGETHER. But....duh...this is Sanford and not Orlando. Unlike Sanford, Orlando has it together. We traveled to England and back with no issues and Precheck worked like it was suppose to. Just beware don't get your hope up when traveling through Sanford airport with your TSA Precheck or just normal. Prepare yourself to be rudely talked down to. My advice to the TSA lady with the short haircut, get a new job. You are burned out and do not need to be dealing with public. I had a job everyday dealing with the public so I know how frustrating it can be. However, I knew enough when it was time for me to move on because of burn out. So Sandford airport is not Simpler, Faster, Better. I'd rather deal with the crowds at Orlando then fly through Sanford.

Very confusing signage, some rental cars (Alamo) very far away. Food service very expensive and awful. No convenient gas station to fill up before rental return.

Great easy airport to use. Skip the big Orlando airport! The security was quick and TSA didn t seemed stressed or agitated like at bigger airports. They had plenty of food options for quick serve in the morning and nice clean bathrooms

The only good thing about this airport are the cheap airfares. The TSA staff were the rudest I have ever heard, something I did not expect, as smaller airports usually have staff that are friendlier. And of all the large airports I've been in (San Francisco, Nashville, Chicago) the TSA staff were the worst. Mouthy, shouting out instructions at everyone in the line and just acting like smarta**es when someone moved too slow or put their stuff on the conveyor belt in a way they didn't like. I felt very sorry for older folks. When we went to Cheeseburger Cheeseburger to get something quick, the lady at the cash register was blatantly PICKING HER NOSE...not even being sneaky about it, there was a line of people waiting there. We just walked away. Oh, and if you're headed to Orlando, it is still an hour away from this airport. Just go to Orlando International.

Very convenient and much easier for a mom traveling with kids...some people could be nicer but over all a good experience... Allegiant is wonderful the people are wonderful

Convenient airport that's usually much less congested than MCO. It is very small, which means not many food options.

Good alternative to Orlando. Easy in and out, easily get to the rental cars. I normally fly allegiant in and out of this airport cannot comment on food/restaurant restaurants as iam never there long enough to eat.

Fyi there is no smoking area after you go through security. Clean airport

Do not fly alligiant. Their baggage check attendants will make you miss your flight. This has happened twice now. Do not fly with them. One attendant in particular was very rude and would not do her job. She lied and said that all security had left even though we were plenty early to our flight. I believe her name was Olivia. So if you see her stay clear because she looks to make the airline money. I hope this review is helpful because she was able to charge us $225 more and single handedly made me miss my first day of college classes. Please take this warning to heart and don't get screwed by Olivia.

This airport is so slow and there are hardly any people here

One of the worst managed airports I have ever been to. Arrived an hour and forty five before my flight and still missed it because the luggage check-in and security was just beyond disfuncional. Anyone I complained to just told me to arrive earlier. Trash town, trash airport. Will not fly here again.

I've flown into Sanford a few times on low-cost international carriers from Europe. All times the baggage and security has been smooth and effortless. The airport is relatively small and the staff have been friendly. I'd fly in or out from here again.

The bar and kiosk in terminal B are closed occasionally for no apparent reason. You don't realize this until after you go through security, and then your dining choices are severly limited. Unacceptable if you plan on keeping passengers after tge expansion.

I would give a 0 rating if that were an option. This airport is understaffed with hardly any signage to tell you where TSA or gates are. TSA officers conduct themselves with a righteous, aggressive and malicious attitude. You get what you pay for with Allegiant and I would Google the airline and weight if the risk associated with this discounted airline and interaction with a poorly educated, dismissive staff are worth it or not. I can tell you it is not worth it. An overworked, underpaid fast food employee with a horrible attitude who's not above racist, malicious conduct shuttling you around in a cardboard box is the equivalent of flying Allegiant into or out of this airport. Spare yourself the misery and book a real flight going into Orlando International Airport.

I like the intimacy of the airport, how easy it was to check in and much less hectic than flying out of TIA.

I travel often and this airport administration need to get organize. From the front door to TSA line, it s a big mess. The pre check line is hided and nobody to control the line so everybody uses itTSA pre check or not. They have only 1 coffee shop and it take more than 30 minutes to get serve the line is so long. They have only 1 person on duty and she is not motivate to work either. The carpet is filthy and barely no seat. The only positive is the parking lot being close of the main building. This airport need a lift.

Today was just a bad day to have to pick up arrivals. There was an airshow....no place to park. Got ran off by police and security x3. I guess the air show was more important

Small airport was under construction when we was there. Big complaint should not be using Orlando in its name flew in there only to find out Orlando was still an hour away

Absolutely the WORST airline ever. Horrible service and not safe to fly. NEVER pick this airline. The airport is terrible and no one has your best interest in consideration. I'd rather stay home than go through Allegiant.

Excessive overhead music volume makes for an unpleasant experience when waiting for flights.

Inquiry with staff for relief yields explanations of THEIR lack of influence and unaccountability.

Pay a little more and go elsewhere. Jacksonville International is much more quiet and accommodating.

Security was efficient and casual stroll to the gate was easy. Traveling shouldn't be stressful .

It's an okay airport. It's personally not my top choice in the area. But it's clean, and everything is rather easy to figure out. It's not a bad choice for flying.

Easy in for pickup and easy out. Really easy drop off. Better than Tampa

This is the fourth time we've tried to use allegiant air only to have an issue and leave me disappointed. No one will ever help you. The desk agents say they can't and call the # only to be on hold for 45+ minutes and still not be helped. Once again for the 4th time in 3 months to have a flight delayed MULTIPLE hours causing me to miss the very thing I'm flying to. THE ONLY reason I was willing to give allegiant another try was because of how early the flight left to get me where I needed to be on time. I'm pulling into the airport after getting up at 5am to make the 2 hr drive there 7 minutes before they tell me to be there to get an update notification that my fight has been delayed 3.5 hrs. This is the second time in 45 days I've given allegiant the chance to redeem themselves only to be missing the 4pm departure time for my next leg of transportation. Twice in May and once in April this has happened as well. Save yourself the trouble and after four times looks like they won't ever be able to redeem themselves at all. Dayton to Orlando delayed in April and made pay for the "one free carry on" that fit fine under the seat. Cvg to Orlando delayed over night in May. Orlando to Cvg delayed 5 hrs in May. Orlando to Lexington now delayed 3.5 hrs for "mechanical failure" but they didn't notify us until 7:22am when we were supposed to be here at 7:30 and board at 8:30. You're telling me they didn't check the plane until an hr before we were supposed to leave?! And said it was a part they couldn't get so now they're bringing a plane in from Tampa. It only takes 2 hrs for me to drive to Tampa so why does it take 3.5 hrs to bring a plane from there to here?! And their customer service is a joke!! I've met one desk agent who actually tried to help and still couldn't do anything and said I'd have to call. I will forever tell everyone I know to avoid them at all costs.

TSA and gate agents need to go to San Antonio and teach them what customer service is! Everyone was friendly and welcoming unlike SA. Sad thing is I live in SA and the only airport that makes you feel like a criminal traveling..airport is currently under construction but not interfering with drop off and pick up. Clean and efficient. Not to big but everything you need as far as snacks and reading material.

Why would you drop people off there with a 14 month old kid. Pte cancel all the flights in and out. I understand that do to weather at least have something for the people that are in hard times. Not a good airport to sit at with a young child. They can't help. Don't want to hit a star but it won't take a 0.

Not a nad little airport. Would have given 5 stars if any place to eat was open, but unfortunately all closed in the morning.
