This is the fourth time we've tried to use allegiant air only to have an issue and leave me disappointed. No one will ever help you. The desk agents say they can't and call the # only to be on hold for 45+ minutes and still not be helped. Once again for the 4th time in 3 months to have a flight delayed MULTIPLE hours causing me to miss the very thing I'm flying to. THE ONLY reason I was willing to give allegiant another try was because of how early the flight left to get me where I needed to be on time. I'm pulling into the airport after getting up at 5am to make the 2 hr drive there 7 minutes before they tell me to be there to get an update notification that my fight has been delayed 3.5 hrs. This is the second time in 45 days I've given allegiant the chance to redeem themselves only to be missing the 4pm departure time for my next leg of transportation. Twice in May and once in April this has happened as well. Save yourself the trouble and after four times looks like they won't ever be able to redeem themselves at all. Dayton to Orlando delayed in April and made pay for the "one free carry on" that fit fine under the seat. Cvg to Orlando delayed over night in May. Orlando to Cvg delayed 5 hrs in May. Orlando to Lexington now delayed 3.5 hrs for "mechanical failure" but they didn't notify us until 7:22am when we were supposed to be here at 7:30 and board at 8:30. You're telling me they didn't check the plane until an hr before we were supposed to leave?! And said it was a part they couldn't get so now they're bringing a plane in from Tampa. It only takes 2 hrs for me to drive to Tampa so why does it take 3.5 hrs to bring a plane from there to here?! And their customer service is a joke!! I've met one desk agent who actually tried to help and still couldn't do anything and said I'd have to call. I will forever tell everyone I know to avoid them at all costs.
