I love this airport, it is incredibly easy to get around. There are multiple food options and since it is a little smaller, it doesn't take too much time to go and get the food you want while waiting for a flight. The bathrooms are always clean and smell great. The workers here are also so helpful and nice! Getting through security also is never that bad. All around a great airport!

Really...walking to my gate I tried to get some hand sanitizer from the touchless dispenser conveniently scattered about the terminal. While walking to my gate, the first five (5) I tested were empty, then it became a statistical experiment. In all I test 10 and 8 were empty. In school that s an F .

Definitely one of the best airports in the country. Extremely reliable on departures and arrivals. Very affordable parking compared to other big airports and a wide selection of transportation to and from Downtown Salt Lake which you can reach within 10 minutes. Security lines move fairly quick specially on terminal 2. Only drawback it's the lack of food establishments throughout the airport serving alcoholic beverages...Bummer.

This is an awesome airport! It's big enough that there are flights to almost everywhere, but small enough so that parking is reasonable. It's pretty close to downtown Salt Lake, too. The people are pretty friendly, and the TSA lines aren't too long. The restaurants and bars are great. Utah actually has much more relaxed drinking laws at the airport, so it's the best place to get a beer in Utah before noon.

It's big and impersonal. I was there two weeks ago on a way to a conference. Expect long lines. I will say that the one TSA agent that was checking ids was the only one I saw with a smile and had a friendly disposition. Kudos goes to that guy!

This airport Is huge has lots of options to eat & shop at. A few flights did end up cancelled including mine & when I asked about a room they said we don't do that. So no help to find a room & by the time I got to the desk & called around the hotels around had no rooms open. I also did not have a car to go anywhere so my boyfriend my 1 year old daughter & I stayed all night in the airport. They did give pillows & blankets but the floor & seats where terribly hard!

The modern plane seats about 190 people. The seating area at each gate seats 46 people. ...So, when you see the hoards of people standing in the walkway don't get annoyed by them. It's not their fault.

Love their Security check, the bins load automatically. They are taking every precaution to make sure people are distanced and have sanitizer everywhere. Most stores and restaurants are closed. If you need food get it before you head to your gate.

One of my favorite airports. Well laid out. Flows surprisingly well for being a major Delta hub. The staff is always on top of it whether it's security, a restaurant or one of the airlines (obviously that's a lot of people and businesses to vouch for, but I've always had smooth experiences). And of course you have the many Salt Lake mountains offering a stunningly glorious view from the air.

The new terminals are beautiful and the TSA checkpoint is a lot nicer than it was. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because from ticketing to B gates is unnecessarily far. That was a design layout flaw. They at least should have installed more moving walkways to help with it.

The TSA staff at this airport have some of the worst attitudes. They act so off putted by anything of the slightest inconvenience. The staff would rather talk to each other then give you any guidance. They are some extremely rude people. One multiple occasions if you don t step forward fast enough they will get snappy. One of the worst airport staffs I ve ever experienced.

I took a shuttle from the parking spot off-site location. I was dropped off next to the parking garage rather than curbside. I decided to walk to my gate which was A4. It took 3600 steps. Yes, I could have taken the people movers in the terminal, which probably would have saved about 600 steps. Granted, it was my first experience and I will get it figured out in time... But not totally intuitive.

I was extremely disappointed and concerned for my health as I arrived to SLC Airport and there were clearly over 100 people in one location with no social distancing in affect. Not a safe place to land during these scary times

I work at salt lake city airport and it's a very friendly place to work at! I enjoy that it's a very bright and happy place to come and go as you please! They try to make TSA check points as easy as possible and fast to get through! There is some walking to do which most don't like but that's why you got us guys and gals that push wheelchairs for all that need or want one for any reason.

Parking garage is always full. Even the economy parking lot is packed. Not enough parking and an extremely long shuttle bus ride (about 15 minutes from my stop) from the economy parking lot to any of the terminals. It would be nice if there was at least the option to walk on some type of a path, but you have to take the shuttle or walk on the road with all of the taxis and shuttle buses flying by. Lots of construction going on, so hopefully that will improve.

I have done quite a bit of flying around in a short amount of time and let me tell you, SLC maybe small but its a pretty darn good airport. They have free wifi (no, not all airports have free wifi), the TSA aren't as mean as other airports I've been too. Surprisingly, I have even had short conversations with them and they were pretty friendly and helpful at times. I think its awesome that this airport has a park & wait lot. So I can just wait in my car until the plane has arrived and unloaded. Pretty smart.

I wish their were more options in regards to food pre- and post- security.

It s a nice place and very easy to use! They are actually renovating and rebuilding it - as we speak - so what was a nice place is becoming an ever better place! I have traveled everywhere - and airports are either good, bad or great! This one is good, but getting better! The staff are nice -- no rude people - it's kept very clean - which is nice considering the number of people coming and going!

Not a bad airport. There are plenty of good restaurants and I can usually find adequate seating in the terminal. TSA is actually pretty friendly here as well. The only problem I have is that it is small and can get pretty packed in the hallways.

A great airport, however it is getting a major face lift. The construction poses some traffic issues outside, but when the airport terminal is finished sometime in the future I believe it should clear up. The airport has great security wait times and the airport is easy to navigate. The new terminal will have many more food options, including Shake Shack! :)

fairly easy airport to get through. Not my favorite airport to go through but who likes to go through an airport anyway? Wish they had more helping hands at the security gates to get people through faster.

There are only English and Japanese signs at the domestic departures for some reason.I wonder.

There are only English and Japanese at the domestic departure gate.
Strange.

Usually decent in and out, transfers etc. No matter which airline I'm on.

Decent wifi coverage!!! Thank you very much.

Standard fare for restaurant selection, but usually appears cleaner than most contemporaries.

Terrible service here. TSA pre closes at 8 pm and you have to pay extra to get another expedite security check. Only one guy working at the desk even there are like a hundred people waiting in the line. The worst airport I ve been.

Don't even think about flying any other airline other than Delta out of here. After your half mile walk under ground, they put you out in the middle of nowhere, shuttle you out even further. No point in worrying about boarding groups or numbers it all gets messed up on the shuttle busses anyway.

My layover this time was really quick and airports can often feel the same as the last one. What stood out to me were the bathrooms. They were very clean, spacious and roomy. Walking around airports with your carry ins and having to take them everywhere is annoying and squeezing into the stalls with them are a hassle. That is not the case with these bathrooms that are larger than normal and completely enclosed. 5/5 will use again.

Just as the other renters I too had a bad experience. I rented the camaro for 2 days (Saturday Morning to Sunday evening) at a total of $173.84. The guy at the desk told me that I could keep it till Monday morining even though I was bringing it back Sunday night. Well our plane reservations changed and we didn't leave til Monday night @ 5. I was supposed to have it back at latest Monday 10AM, I called and made sure it was okay to keep it an additional 5 hours until our plane left, they said yes that was okay. It took a few days but the charges for the additional hours hit my card. I was charged for an additional day not 5 extra hours and also an additional day of their most expensive insurance. So my card has an additional charge of $232.31, this totals over $400 dollars to have a rental car for 2.5 days. I am still confused on how an extra 5 hours costs more than the original 2 days. They somehow made "on their end" sense of it all and say that all the charges are correct. I will never use AVIS car rental agency again. I have since used Herzt to rent a Challanger which I kept an additional few hours and they did not charge me anything extra.
