Friendly and informative staff. Efficient so far, while checking out of the airport once landed. I have to check in, in another week to fly home. Hope it goes as well. Thanks for asking.

This is a smaller airport making it relatively easy to traverse. Car booking and collection services are all close to baggage reclaim areas, the location is also well served with taxis. I'd recommend booking into the premium lounge if you can as it's far superior to the general seating, nice play area for young kids, large TV area, and a few other rooms. Security is a little hectic, felt like quite a tight avenue to go through.

Airport was clean. Signs posted for mask wearing and social distancing.

This airport is great because it's cheaper flying into here than into MCO and a few others and it's a better get out than Orlando too. The only problem is the immigration officials seem to be really angry a lot of the time and that's shame when you're in a holiday mood, plus the time it takes to make it through border official checks is also tedious. However, overall this is a good little airport.

It is an airport. nothing is open for the early flights to get food or beverages.

A small airport with the charm of the 90s. Not particularly clean. Little food and drinks selection but very expensive

Always a good Airport, selection of stores are pretty good, and it is so near to everything, really convenient.

TSA and Allegiant Air Personal were very kind in helping me reach my destination even though I had miss placed my ID.

This airport was THE WORST airport I have used by far in my life and I have been an avid traveler. The checkin people at the Allegiant desk were slow and rude and didn t care that our flight was boarding. The TSA checkin guy was extremely rude and gave us horrible attitude at 5:00 in the morning. They provided no compassion or assistance to us traveling with a family of five and were by far the worst people I have ever had to deal with. They separated our stuff that went through security and we ended up forgetting some stuff at the airport because it wasn t altogether anymore. We will avoid this airport like the plague in the future even though flights are cheap. Perhaps the horrible experience at the airport is the reason why the flights are so cheap?

This place is absolutely horrible. My plane was rerouted due to bad weather. As we fly over Orlando, we can see there is no bad weather. Beautiful and sunny. They lied to us for some reason. Shady. The staff was horrible and the flight was aweful. Kids screaming while we sit here and wait. I get a 4 hour delay in the smallest airport in town. Sun country and spirit seems to be the worst. Dont use any of them

Easy to navigate. Lines move fairly quick. TSA people have new personality but I've never met one anywhere in the world that does. The airport isn't overly crowded.

Further to get than oia but smaller and easier to get in and out of. It's a great little airport with convenient parking. Subtracted a star for the extra distance away from my location.

Smaller airport for people who don't like dealing with a lot of traffic and congestion. The airline we flew on lands at similar sized airports. The parking is great and easy to find and maneuver around in, even in the snow! They offer valet parking which is great in the winter! The airport is remodeling the entire building and it's really fantastic! It's offering shops, restaurants and other amenities that you see in larger airports. Despite the construction, the airport is clean and easy to get around because of ample signage. The security compares like that of any airport. The personal are very friendly, helpful and just very gracious. We were impressed with how several people went out of their way to accommodate customers. Great airport!

Very clean! Hand sanitizer stations all over the place! Everyone nice clean and friendly! Very good social distancing!

I flew out of Sanford for the first time in Aug 2018. This is so much better than OIA / MCO ! Easy to get in & out of, easy access off hwy 417, easy parking, easy drop off and pick up.

When I flew by my self it was difficult because no one helped me with the wheelchair. Difficult 2 maneuver with bags on my lap

Used to really like this airport. Monday morning 9:30am and everything is closed, can't even get a coffee.

They yell at you they don't know how to check people in for there flight

Wayyyy better than Orlando's main airport. Security is a breeze and there are still all the little shops and conveniences of a major airport. Recommend!

Staff are friendly but baggage check-in wait times are always horrendous. 2.5 hours today. You get what you pay for. Cheap for a reason.
Plus long term parking has poor shuttle service. Have to press a button for shuttle. When we do, no one answers, forcing people to walk a half mile to the terminal. So many issues with this airport.

Literally the worst airport we have ever been to. No clear signs telling you where to go. Disgusting and filthy. Bugs crawling on the counters near the food. We will never fly out of this airport again.

Fast service. Smiling faces - even TSA. Great experiences in & out!

Currently under construction with limited walking areas. Better signage would be helpfull. Once work is complete I think it will really nice.

It is a small airport but the queue is small. Things are moving quickly and straight forward. Free wifi (make sure to choose ATT wifi) and wall charging outlets everywhere

Orlando Sanford Airport

I can only compare this small airport to that of Sarasota International (SRQ) and there isn't any comparison.

This airport is not friendly to anyone parking and dropping off or picking up.

My experience was picking up a friend coming in from Brussels, Belgium. The international arrival area is an exit facing an outside sidewalk and airport roadway. There isn't any close, inside,air conditioned area to wait for an arriving passenger! You must stand outside! In the Florida heat!

The JetAirway (TUI) staff member guarding the exit doors to the customs area of arriving passengers was very conscientious and nice.

The rest of the inside terminal was just ok with a Starbucks and food area called Jetway. Didn't eat or drink anything while waiting over 1 1/2 hours for my friend to clear customs after landing!

I parked at 10:30am to meet an on time 11:25 flight and waited until 1:20 for them to clear customs.

Now, there is air conditioned seating across the roadway and down the terminal but I wasn't the only one waiting out in the elements so my friend could be greeted coming out the doorway into a foreign land.

The airport was clean as were the restrooms.

Love this small airport! Park close and walk right in. Great sized cell phone waiting lot.

Seminole Co is infested with criminal activity. I live just a few miles to the South and I don't travel into the county. Getting to the airport in the plane is not the problem but what happens if you make a wrong turn in the rental car leaving the Sanford Airport and end up in one of those two tooth girl friend towns they have up there or worse you could end up out on state route 434 in Winter Springs Florida.

Quiet and easy to get in and out, but with departures, there is nothing to do, especially when there is three hours to fill...

A small airport, but with very economical airline tickets. Less people also mean you wait less time in the line. However, the price is there are only 3~5 places you can purchase food, and they are bit over priced. Especially when your plane is delayed (I experienced a 6 hour delay), you feel time is so slow there.

Smaller airport and less wait. I like Alligent airlines. I don't like Mears cabs while waiting out front for our Lyft to Economy car rental at the other airport there were 2 drivers tried to charge $80 to drive us then $70 off meter....I thought that was against the law.

We will be avoiding flying in and out of this airport in future. There really is nothing here. The food options were really poor and it's so quiet you wonder how long the food has been there for.
The staff here are unhelpful. We were given the incorrect information at check in which led to issues at the boarding gate and we were passed on to three different people and we were eventually told it should have been sorted at check in.
Not a great experience here, will stick with Orlando International in the future.

Love this airport. Don't want ppl to think it's not a great airport, but it needs to notify ppl who have flights on a day they do an air show. On 11/1/20 I missed my flight cause of the traffic coming in to the show. You MUST keep air show traffic to coming in on the back road and airport traffic coming in the front(parkway) road.

This is a smaller airport with a big value. Wait times are short and it's a good value. I love flying from here. Just like their signs say it's Simpler Faster Better (SFB)

Air port is nice and didn t have issues but OMG if you come to this air port do not get helped by Candice with allegiant. SHE IS SCARY. Literally screaming at us for no reason. No matter how busy or clustered u are you never speak to customers this way

Great airport. It's international, but small, so you have all international features without the hassle. Much shorter lines, shorter ways to car rental, easier to get on the highway, no high parking prices, etc.

I will never fly into the big Orlando airport. Ever again. This place is the fastest, smoothest airport I have EVER used. Hands down.

Horrible TSA configuration. Absolutely moronic. Three lines plus TSA precheck. The left hand line is super short, 30 people or so. The middle lane is a little longer. The right hand line is significantly longer and they were handling TSA precheck, as well. It took about five minutes for people to move through the short, left hand lane. It took me almost an hour in the right hand lane. And they were patting everyone down, but the short lines weren't. It was almost like they were intentionally trying to piss people off. Dumbest thing I've ever seen in an airport, and I lived in Miami, so that's really saying something. Sort your yourself out, SFB. It's an absolute embarrassment. It hurts my feelings that I have to give you one star, because my approval is way south of 20%.

Flight was delayed 2 times, had to switch gates, not many food choices, and high prices.

Not much open for early flight just one food market to grab stuff.

This is on Allegiant airport it self.is nice. .... That being said how do you take off and realize your 1200 lbs short on fuel smh. It's called a pre flight check list for a reason simply mind blowing

Normally I have a great experience here. But after the way they have treated my mother, my opinion has plummeted. They printed the wrong gate number on her ticket, and even the TV information was wrong. She waited at the gate number 7 like it said to and found out her plane was in gate 1 she tried to rush over and catch the plane but missed it. Then they blamed her for missing her plane and even charged her to change her ticket when they were the ones who messed. I'm highly disappointed in the treatment they gave to my mother and instead of finding a way to get her to her destination tonight, she is having to put her vacation off until tomorrow ruining her rare chance at a time away and making her have to get a hotel so she doesnt have to drive 2 hours back home.

well ... a bit dated but a little makeover that is solved. Lovely the rental car 2 minutes walk, friendly people behind the counter. Less than an hour's drive to the final destination ..... totally fine for us.

The service overall is very bad at this airport. Lost baggage only answers their phone a few days a week. And if they are open only when they are not in meetings. The coffee shop claims to sell 12 oz but if they run out of cups you better be prepared to pay for the 16 oz cup. Ask anybody a question and they don't know the answer to any of it and won't try to help. The only service that was good was the check-in.

I was flying alone with my 2 grandsons ages 2 and 3 thank God for a nice lady and gentlemen that helped me carry out the car seats because the flight attendants didn't help once into the airport looking for a baggage cart found a gentleman that works for the airport that helped me with the car seats and the baggage so all I had to wrangle were my boys I so appreciated the help

Google Maps is totally confused. It cannot find even a reasonable route. Mileage indicated seems to be correct but times are about six times greater than actual. I am traveling and cannot depend on Google Maps which I need desperately.

The staff was pretty rude, not gonna lie. But it was easy to get through.

Terrible airport & service! Very racist! I got a chocolate bar from London, took it from the London airport to Vienna, from the Vienna airport to Frankfort airport to the US! It passed security at EVERY airport but today I was taking it to give to my grandma from Stanford international airport and multiple employees came and touched it and did a full body screening and wasted 1 hour of my time! They ended up keeping the chocolate and never gave it back!

Charged me 4.00 to park for 11 minutes time stamp was pushed up to say 25 minutes what a ripp off

It's a very small airport but it has everything it needs. Security is a bit weird but it's acceptable since the airport doesn't really have that many resources.

Allegiant was severely understaffed for check in and actually took longer than the TSA check. T pre-baggage check was slightly useful but the the person manning it would've been more useful at the actual baggage check. All lines were at capacity.

TSA pre-check was closed. But otherwise seemed efficient. Except that their equipment and/or personnel were poorly trained or too sensitive. A small wrist watch set the metal detector off, but hasn't set off a detector before.

All fights (5?) near my flight were all through the same gate so several flights worth of people were all at the same gate.

It was like they didn't realize how many fights were leaving near that time or couldn't plan accordingly. Don't fly out of this airport if at all possible.

Some construction on terminals taking place. Easy to find. Has cell phone lot for waiting that is nearby. Airport is big enough to offer a variety of airline options, but not too big where traffic becomes an issue.

SFB is okay it's easy to find your way around.TSA wasn't that bad and hopefully our flight will be on time but if not that's fine too due to the weather. But unfortunately we will not be flying too or from here again because we will not ever fly Allegiant again. Not because our flight was bad but because we perfer Delta. Plus it's alot closer to where we are staying. But other than that I liked the airport.

It beats getting lost or not making it on time because you are stuck on I-4 or 417 has an accident to clean up. There are no massive lines to stand on, and getting through all the checkpoints is a breeze, unless you're traveling with a semiautomatic or AK57, then you have to wait an extra day or two. Bottom line, I would give it 5 stars if they had more international flights. But as we know it there is always room for "improvement". As long as they have flights going wherever l want to go, OSA will be my choice of transportation.

Have been here only 2 times but during the 2 times the TSA staff were very efficient and friendly. They do a great job.

The ABSOLUTE worst airport to deal with. Allegiant customer service was rude and unhelpful. Was stuck in unsuspected toll traffic which added 40 minutes to our return to the airport. Even though we arrived 20 minutes before the flight left, we were met with rudeness at their counter and complete unwillingness to help! We had to buy all new tickets and get another flight. They made us pay for an additional bag as well even though it made it on the flight over, even though we had an 80.00 voucher to use. Not sure what these do to help. But will never fly Allegiant again or deal with this airport!

Besides the prices being a little pricey mark up its a Great little airport if you don't wanna drive to ORLANDO

Security was super fast, very friendly, and EFFICIENT. Helpful greeters are very friendly as well.
