Check in was simple, of course you get the buy our timeshare pitch which was quick. Unit was nice looking. Day 1 shower backed up and diverter did not function correctly. Called with no results until following night when all the kids are showering for bed. Wife was sipping on a glass of wine and a cockroach crawled into the cup. Called and they said they would be right out. They did not come until two days later as we decided to check out. Overall poor management, and obvious issues. Management offered nothing to resolve or make us feel better about the resort. I would recommend not trading for this resort. If you own it, sorry.
Awesome place that the family can get away too with exceptional service
Love this place! Been going there for over a decade. Awesome family fun!
Hoax. Do not even consider booking anything here. Worst experience and they will lie to you just so you purchase
It was very nice but our room had a few bugs which was gross and the timeshare salesman were not understanding I did not want to purchase a time share. The amenities such as the mini golf on site we're also expensive for what they were. The villas we're very nice and the pools we're great. over all it was a good experience.
I own a time share and this is by far my favorite destination.
This resort is spectacular. It is very close to Disney Parks and tons of stuff to do here. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will be recommending to family and friends.
This resort has it all! Amazing pools with something for all ages. There's a lazy river, slides and a beach style kiddie pool for the little kids. There are multiple restaurants and bars poolside and throughout the property. It is also centrally located for all your shopping, dining and entertainment needs
Haven't had much opportunity to explore the grounds just yet but the room is very nice. Everything is well designed and clean. Easily the best place I've ever stayed at in Florida thus far.
Beautiful clean nice place to have a vacation looking forward to coming back I hope my dad buys the time share
Beautiful resort with big spaceships rooms. So my activities right on property. Mulit pools, mini golf, bingo, arts n crafts. 3 bedroom rooms with clean kitchen and patio.. Highly recommended
We come here every year! It is amazing!!! Sooo much fun and we love hanging out at the resorts and it s very homey. We ve never had a single issue here and we ve been going for more than a decade by now!!! Love it!!
Great for families. Good location. Great food and drinks. Pool and lazy river/waterpark are a very far walk if in bad room location
A good property but not on par with a Hilton Grand Vacations
Love my timeshare, always feels like I'm home when I get here.
big resort and expensive. Parents are original owners. OLCC sold out to Holiday Inn, it was all down hill from there. everything will cost you an arm and a leg.
The room is clean and recently renovated. The resort is large and spread out. They have several pools, and a water slide. The water slide costs extra, and I don't think it's worth it.
My Family & I Visited Orange Lake Resort On 3/27/16- 3/31/2016- We Went To Three Of Disney's Theme Parks BUT Honestly We Could've Stayed At The Resort Our Whole Stay. At The Resort There Was Movie Theaters, Golf, Water Parks , Arcades , Basketball Court, Tennis Court & So Much More, We Will Definitely Be Visiting Soon! Everything Was Great!!!
Nice relaxing place for adults. Has activities for the kids. Close to Disney parks.
Close to Disney. Lots of things to do for kids and adults. Good food
Nice Resort with plenty to do on site. The place is a vacation in and of itself with shuttles that provide transportation around.
The Legends was in poor condition and not satisfactory given the $90 green fees. This Reserve was in better condition but still not worth the $110 green fees.
The "starters" had poor customer service skills. They were upset with the world and did not make you feel welcome to be there. The pro shop staff was much better.
The rangers are not prevalent on course much so slow play is common.
Our 3 bedroom villa was very nice.
If you are looking for a nice golf trip this is not the place. Look around for better conditions and better prices.
Awesome vacation spot... amazing pool area & lazy river. Super clean rooms. Highly recommended... #813Scapes
We have only been here a day so far. The place is huge with a water park, pools, restaurants, a sports bar, liquor store, and a grocery store; all within the resort.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY TIME SHARE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
We made a HUGE mistake when we bought a week at this timeshare in 2010..
I was told by the sale person that if we want to sell it, Orange Lake would buy it back: what a load of lies; we believe her, not realizing that this was a sales con. It cost us a lot of money.
This is one of the MOST deceitful resort that I have ever stayed in my life. First, I bought a vacation package over the phone where they told me I would get $99 back in rebate if I go to a 2 hr tour (another waste of my time) to buy time share. The women told me that it would be as spending $99 for this trip since I would be paying $199 for the package. Little did I know that that was all a lie. I was told to find my own transportation (pay for cab) to get to this tour. Then once I finished the tour, they had given me the rebate, only to find out that i have to stay at another holiday inn hotel IN THE FUTURE to get this rebate. This was NEVER told when you purchase the package. So it's was surprise, after the 2 hr tour and paying $100 for cab that you would not get your rebate back.
Then when you call the rebate office, a rude old woman answered saying that it was in the fine print, which you don't get until you finish the tour!!! How ridiculous and lying and deceitful of this company. Please DO NOT BUY their vacation package or stay at this resort. IT WAS A SCAM!!!
We have been coming here for years. Great location right next to Disney. Nice pools, newly renovated lazy river is great! Overall a very nice resort. Some pushy timeshare people but other than that it has met our expectations every time. Great rooms with full kitchens and whirlpool tubs.
I have been an owner for 20 years... I love Orange Lake ! ... But waiting 30 minutes in line as an owner to check in doesn't cut it for vacation... Have more staff at check-in on check-in days...
This resort is a nice, clean, staff friendly place. The resort is close to nearby attractions as well
Beautiful rooms, service with a smile, and wonderful landscaping. 10/10 will definitely visit again
I must say I am very disappointed with the service here at the orange lake resort. My husband and I came here for some rest and relaxation after (3) years of not being able to take a vacation due to illness. Long story short our television, and internet access has been down since 5:00am and it is now 10:10pm with no timeline of when it will be up and running. We did receive a refund of some of our points. However, that did nothing for the horrible experience and service from staff we ve experienced on this vacation. So much for anticipating a great vacation. This has been the worse experience ever. I will never visit Orange Lake Resort again.
Elevator broke twice so far. Carrying stuff up 6 flights of stairs isn't fun. Otherwise pretty cool place.
The villas are a great size for a family! Plenty of pools here.
Lied about 90 min presentation, more like 4 hours. They set you up in a Spartan setup then try to sell you on a "luxury" package when pushing for the timeshare sale. Waste of time.
You never have to leave the property. Restaurants, pools, lazy river, golf, arcade, shuttles, kids advantage. They have Starbucks but you can't use your app or rewards because they are not a full service Starbucks (please fix that). Still a great time and things to do.
This place is perfect for vacation. The have every thing inside. Many swimming pools, market, activities and so on.
We rented a timeshare. I was not impressed with the level of cleanliness. There were Nerf gun bullets on the floor when we first walked in. If housekeeping missed bright, orange toy bullets, do they even really look for messes? The glassware was filthy. The bedroom let too much light in. Housekeeping only comes around once every 10 days. The lazy river barely moves. Our phones kept ringing at early hours. The rooms are dated, but I was more concerned with the general housekeeping. They are stingy with soaps. If I ever did by a timeshare, it would not be here. There are better options. I'm kind of surprised Holiday Inn puts its name on this place. It was just okay.
The villa was beautiful. We stayed for 5 nights, and it was wonderful. It was like taking a vacation at home. Equipped with washer and dryer, a full kitchen with dish washer stove dishes, and pretty much everything you need, oh and 2 bathrooms. Surrounded by restaurants, and gift shops, and only 20 minute drive away from Disney World. The resort is so huge they have several large beautiful pool areas, there is a spa, and a golf course for golfers. When we stayed it was very peaceful, and quiet. (No house keeping unless you request it for an additional fee, oh and they offer an optional 90 min time sharing tour, where they give you a nice gift if you go it is worth it)
Very easy to locate, clean condos and good parking.
Excellent resort, huge rooms, tons of amenities, close to area attractions. Pro Tip: forget the timeshare presentation and just book this property on Holiday Inn's website.
Orange lake is a fun resort with lots of things to do near and far. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Loved the pool areas it was relaxing good music on weekends.
Excellent family vacation spot. Food, arcade, pool all on the site. Only complaint is the resort is so large and confusing to navigate.
Awesome resort! Condos were clean and well maintained. Would love to stay here again on my next trip to Orlando
I'm a timeshare holder and recently just upgraded but had issues with customer service this time. I understand that pests are uncontrollable at times but I called and asked for bug spray or to have our room sprayed and the request was merely ignored. She was quick to get off the phone with me and I almost knew nothing would be accomidated for my concerns. We had a trail of ants on the baseboards of the bedroom and the ants seemed to be way worse on the end tables. I felt like I was constently killing ants in the bedroom. I looked to see if the last people left food or something and did not notice anything out of the ordinary. The ants were very tiny white ants that were fast. I'm thankful mine were only ants and not cockroaches like I saw in a previous review. My concern is poor service...when asked for bug spray or the room to be sprayed they ignored my request. Very disappointed this time.Otherwise the resort is beautiful.
Clean suites and the pools we're great. Drinks were cheap and shuttles frequent.
We had an awesome time and everything that was promised we got.
We love it here. Although we own at two other locations, something about Orlando is magical even if you don't go to Disney. There is so much to do on site, whether we are traveling solo, with our now adult children or our grandchildren, we feel young. The facility is clean and safe. The staff is always pleasant, accommodating just a phone call away. :-).
Very quite resort. We spent a couple days there with family and were impressed with the grounds and accommodations.
Hotel is nice, have to pay extra for any attractions located on the premise. This includes float for lazy river. Make sure you bring your own food snacks and ice. Faculty is always helpful.
This place is amazing the amenities and the food everything is right here!
Rooms are clean, grounds are beautifully landscaped and customer service is very friendly. Knocking off one star based on Lobby wait times to check in, and also the extra fees for rafts for the lazy river.
Beautiful structures, pool is always crowded and neighbors constantly fighting
Big plan for have fun with family and friends. They have a great lazy river
Stayed here for a week, rooms were bueatiful and and the resort offers many things.
Great place to unwind has it all on site, great place for kids
Great Resort! We go every few years!! Love the lazy river!
Nice place. For a nominal fee I will continue my review.
Stayed for 3 days 2 nights. Upon arriving in our condo unit we found out we had plumbing issues. The tub was stomped up and the master bedroom sink would not drain. I called the front desk to report the issue. I was told someone would be out to fix the issues. One guy came out to fix the tub. However nobody ever came out for the sink. We was left to use one sink amongst 6 individuals and brush teeth using the kitchen sink. I asked for a manager and I was told someone would contact me however nobody ever called me. I am disappointed in the service. The property is beautiful but the service is horrible.
So far, the resort is quote nice. There is a lot to do on the property and even more to do nearby. The only issue I have had with it do far is it seems like there is someone trying to sell you on something around every corner. That probably just comes with the territory of a tourist area though.
This is an amazing and relaxing place for the family
The floors are sticky we had spiders and palmetto in the room
Checked in yesterday for three nights.Quite a large place, impressive accommodation ( am in 2 bedroom villa,West village ).To make things clear for newcomers, there is nothing free except pools and the pools are same standard as in a nice hotel are and rest of all things need to be paid as in other resorts like rock climbing , golf and above all you need to pay for tubing rental for Lazy river ( was disappoint to hear that ).
Another thing is push for time share, though i refused 3 times but finally accepted it as was told that you ll be able to avail some facilities free in terms of resort credit.Convinced my kids to go to attend time sharing and got them out of pool and imagine they didn't have our booking and when i spoke to sales person Jasmine in Tour town centre, she was able to offer apology and did not realize that how much botheration was for us.I guess sales people get additional credits for selling time share presentation so don't care if it was convenient or inconvenient to the guests.Lesson for the next time either it is a named brand or any other hotel, you have to be careful with their sale tactics.Dont let them spoil your vacation time.
Overall,so far is an average stay and might look into alternatives next time.
The best as sonnets u get here a big friendly smile & a welcome they really make feel welcome them these amazing atmosphere everywhere. Music live band. Clean mall so much to look but the best the first arriving the valet parking we star from there
It's okay. Seems as though they are more concerned with getting your money than they are with pleasing you though.
Great complex but need to drive everywhere but have Suttle
Comfortable place and decent rooms with full kitchen.
This is my 5th year as an owner and had pretty decent service until this year in June. I reserved a 1 bdrm villa for 4 days 3 nights, with beachfront view on main level; all is ok until I try to watch television. The room had a TV in bedroom and living room, neither remote control operated either television. Yes, there were remotes available but weren't synced. I called the front desk and waited about 30 minutes, I was on vacation so I assumed maintenance would just take care of it in my absence. After returning about 10 hrs later, nothing had been done. I called front desk again, I'm a little heated now, they told me 20 minutes (it's around 3AM). I waited yet another 30 minutes and decided to go to the front desk, I had my camera phone upon arrival. As I started to give the clerk a piece of my mind, he stated "I don't agree to you recording me", without ANY care of what my issue was, he was concerned about being recorded, as if I cared because I wanted this interaction documented. I immediately said I want to talk to a manager. After about 5 minutes, he comes to the front and basically supported the clerk, again giving no concern to my issue. I was FURIOUS at this point so I cussed and yelled but never stated a threatening word. He said he was calling security because this was private property and I needed to leave. I'm an OWNER mind you, therefore, the property is MIND. He works for the owner (ME), he should have listened to my issue and apologized for the clerk's actions and expedited my request. Needless to say security arrived quickly and supported the manager saying this is private property, how ignorant of them, I told them "I'm an owner and wish they would attempt to touch me!". Then they wanted to diffuse the situation by asking me specifically my issue, this is security and maintenance NOT management....SERIOUSLY??? Maintenance and security followed me to my room and resolved the matter in 10 or 15 minutes, it took that long because maintenance had to go retrieve a 2nd remote. None of this had to happen if they had the proper remote prior to my arrival, had resolved the issue the initial request, 2nd request, clerk was customer service friendly or management gave a DAMN about his priorities. There was FIVE opportunities to receive a favorable rating. They failed miserably!!!!! I also sent an evaluation to corporate 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive a response. I won't be returning to that resort.
Great resort for families with children, plenty to do and see. Rooms are equipped with washer and dryer, kitchen has everything needed. Overall nothing negative to say.
Beautifully updated rooms, equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Great activities on site. Swimming pools and surrounding areas were kept in pristine condition.
