One of the best hotel stays I have had in all of North America. The staff is insanely helpful, knowledgeable and very generous with their time. No question this is the place to stay in Vancouver. Will Return!!

Well located in yaletown, this hotel made walking a go to means of experiencing Vancouver. The hotel staff are friendly, providing what feels like doing the clock service. We would leave our hotel multiple times throughout the day only to find out bed made and fresh towels each time. Would stay again.

We got the elopement package. Taylor made sure everything was perfect for our wedding and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We stayed on the top floor, the room was HUGE and the rap around balcony was so awesome. I have absolutely nothing bad at all to say. Thank you so much Opus.

The Opus hotel is a true gem. Centrally located with chic rooms, it s a great place to enjoy a staycation and enjoy the trendy area of Yaletown. The icing on the cake is the dog-friendliness of the hotel and extra cute ammenities for our furry friends.

I frequently travel for work to Vancouver and have stayed at the Opus a few times. The staff is always incredibly nice and attentive, the area has a ton of great bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, and the bar is a nice spot to hang out in the evenings. I love that this hotel is boutique. Each room feels slightly different but still purposeful, and it has the main emmenities you'd expect from a high end hotel. For being right in the heart of Yaletown, it's still fairly quiet in the evenings. Certain rooms have extra touches like heated bathroom floors which I always appreciate. I also like that the turn down service gives candy as fun extra touch.

Rooms were clean, contemporary and comfortable. Great customer service with friendly staff. Only downside - trying to find parking is challenging, especially with a tall SUV (just use the valet!) We'll be back in the future.

My stay here was great! Really good service, I was greeted with sparkling wine upon arrival. The lobby is small and has an attached lounge which was a cool hangout spot at night. There is a good restaurant attached to the hotel where I had a great breakfast.
The room was awesome! I loved the decor and it was a large room with a big comfy bed. The bathroom was amazing and had a large soak tub as well as a stand up shower. The bathroom also has a window which can be covered to see into the room.
My company hosted an event that which ran smoothly and the space was great.
Overall very happy with my stay here.

Small boutique hotel in Yaletown. Picked it because of proximity to Canada Line Station and easy access from airport. Central location with short walk to downtown or water taxis.

There was a bit of weekend partying streetnoise.

Staff was excellent.

Classy boutique Hotel with top notch service, all the modern conveniences. Our room had the bathroom between the bedroom and the windows, which seemed a bit odd at first but is actually brilliant for keeping the room quiet. Might suggest an interior facing room on Saturday night though. The restaurant's breakfasts are also excellent.

This hotel reminds me the W hotels as it has the same type of design and atmosphere. The lobby is small (literally) but the room was big and comfortable. The shower is huge and the shower amenities are different from traditional hotels. The body wash made out of rum, the shampoo out of peppermint and the conditioner out of cilantro. At one point I was wondering if I was taking a shower or marinating myself for the day.

The room was spacious and well illuminated, the bed was comfortable and the entertainment options included an iPad to read news and magazines

The unique cons was the noise, the room was not properly insulated and I heard my neighbors having fun .

Check in and out process was fast and accurate. Definitely will come back again as I liked the hotel and it is well located

Also love the iPads in every room!

We chose Opus for our annual company retreat because it had everything we were looking for in a hotel. It was small, funky, the staff was unbelievably accommodating and helped us through every step of the planning process, even withthings that had nothing to do with our stay there.

We had people flying in from all over the Americas and they loved that Opus provided all of the rooms with cell phones that they could use free of charge during their stay. Everyone had an amazing time because of the employees at Opus who did everything from keeping the bar open late for us on a Wednesday to handling everything with a smile even as we changed rooming numbers weekly until the day before our retreat.

We would absolutely use Opus again for a company retreat. They are very impressive and modern but also have the intimate feeling and flexibility of a small hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Opus. From the warm welcome and complimentary beverage, to the room amenities, location, and complimentary bikes, it really added to our stay. Yaletown and its myriad restaurants, the seawall and ferries around False Creek are just footsteps away. Borrow a bike and ride to Stanley Park, or find a nice patio to watch the world go by.

A slight downside was the bathroom was the only source of light for the room, although we weren t really spending too much time in our room during the day.

FABULOUS ESTABLISHMENT! 5 star service, accommodation and location. Nestled in the heart of Yaletown, located right across from the Skytrain Station this hotel is the perfect location for guests for dining, shopping, sightseeing, night life.. you name it. This hotel has a fabulous rooftop bar perfect for sunset cocktails and photo shoots. It is a convenient walk to the train where you can ride to the Space Needle or downtown. To get here from the airport, we took the train to the last stop on the line, and then a short uber ride to the hotel. Rooms were clean and well appointed. No room service, but plenty of eateries nearby including a falafel place next door perfect for rooftop takeout dining and a coffee shop to get your morning fix.

Excellent location and customer service. Loved the heated bathroom and I wish I tried the wine offered when checking in. The only time I had a minor issue was when housekeeping cleaned the room around 3-4 when we were informed that it would be around noon. I didn't mind the wait too much though.

Arrived 8am on a Sunday with checkin due at 3pm. Staff gave us a drink after our long trip and made a room ready in an hour and called while we looked around town. After being in 9 other Hotels in Canada over the last couple of weeks, Opus was the ONLY one that knows what customer service is all about. The room was up there at the top in presentation as well. Thanks Opus.

Been here many times, nice rooms, great location, always great service. It is in the heart of Yaletown in Vancouver, so lots of boutiques and restaurants nearby. A block from the beautiful sea wall and right across the street from a skytrain station. We have stayed here as a couple, then as a family with our kids, and last couple of visits have been with our kids and dogs. Good stay every time.

Very nice boutique hotel in the charming Yaletown area of downtown Vancouver. Close to plenty of restaurants and bars. Very close to the subway station. Rooms are well appointed with updated bathrooms. Shower was great with excellent pressure and an overhead shower head that comes out of the ceiling for that rain shower effect. Rooms are decent size but not large. Beds are okay but could be a bit more comfortable. Nespresso machine in the room is a nice touch for that morning coffee. Would like to see them add an electric water kettle along with tea and some larger cups/mugs. Staff was amazing. Very friendly and on top of every request. Used my name each time they saw me. Definitely add this hotel to your list of options for your next stay in Vancouver.

The stay was amazing and the housekeepers were very friendly! The staff was also very helpful and I'm truly greatful.
There was, however one issue, when I checked in the hostess said there would be a $100 charge per night (standard "deposit"). My friend and I were staying two nights, so this should have been a $200 charge. So we go to pay it and the card gets declined NSF. Being a good friend I whip out mine to just get in and not worry about it, because it'll be refunded anyway. Check my bank statement after getting home... It was actually a $500+ charge. I could understand maybe a $50-100 error but I think $300+ more than you tell someone is a bit much.

Spent the night while in town for a concert. Originally was intimidated by the "boutique hotel" style- thinking we would not fit in, even if it was just for a sleep over , but could not have been more impressed with Opus.
Our room was not immediately ready for us at check in time, and the staff (Terry especially) went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of (drinks at the bar, and some wine!). Everyone was friendly, helpful and pleasant. The room itself was gorgeous! Well kept, clean and vibrant. The provided toiletries were lovely and the bed was amazing- best sleep I've had in a while! We were lucky enough to have access to the semi private courtyard which had a cute sitting area.
Restaurant attached to the hotel was fabulous- great decor and the handmade pasta was out of this world.
My only regret with Opus was that we didn't stay a 2nd night.
100% would recommend and stay again if opportunity arose.

Very nice hotel with quiet rooms and a wonderful shower. The reception team was very attentive and the hotel's bike rental service was a really great change from which to explore the city. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast time, however, missed a little warmth. But this is to be got over, since you don't have to have breakfast in the house.

Everything was great except the room didn't have any windows except behind the bathroom... weird! Couldn't even really open the bathroom window shades because it looked out directly into the street and everyone could see straight in at all hours (second floor).

Absolutely our best stay in Vancouver. The quality of customer service & how personal it can be! My spouse and I came to Vancouver from the island to de the Christmas light maze & I took full advantage of the beautiful soaked tub & cozy fire place. We came over on a super rainy day and didn't want to spend money shopping so we relaxed in our room the majority of the day! It was so so peaceful and would definitely recommend. We will be coming back soon!

Very solid value for the price and terrific location. Plus the most incredible hotel staff I ve experienced in a while, willing to bend over backwards for the smallest thing. The purple paint in my room was a tiny bit much for me but that s the only thing I could find to say wasn t a perfect 5 stars for the category and price. Particularly loved: full size refillable Malin+Goetz bath products instead of tiny single use ones, glass carafe in the room instead of plastic water bottles and a espresso coffee maker, wireless pad for cell phone charging, amazing raspberry scones at breakfast (so fluffy, light & flavorful), and such a comfortable bed in my room.

I booked this stay with my Chase Sapphire Reserve so I got a double upgrade, $100 dining credit, and breakfast for free. The double upgrade was kind of questionable. The deluxe room was not that special. It could have been at a nice Holiday Inn. They serviced my room at 7 pm which was weird but nice. When I called for room service, I was told it would take 25 min but it took an hour. That s besides the point though. The biggest part is the front desk staff rocks!! There is a very nice woman from Australia (I don t know her name) and John (another very nice staff member). They both went above and beyond. I ll be back just for them.

This boutique hotel is conveniently located across the Yaletown station, with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly at the front desk with four glasses of champagne. A member of the staff, Preet, was extremely helpful in helping us with our luggages and guiding us around the area. As this trip was a birthday celebration getaway for me and my dad, the hotel staff delivered a bottle of wine and chocolates with a handwritten note. It was very thoughtful and sweet. Although it was a little intimidating that the windows of our washroom face the Street, there were sun blinds and blackout blinds to ensure our privacy. We especially enjoyed the Malin + Goetz brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided by the hotel.

If you are looking for an unique getaway with cultural vibes and a personalised touch in Vancouver, you have to choose Opus Hotel for your stay.

P.S I really appreciate the personalised itineraries posted on the hotel website, which gave me insider tips on where to shop and eat in the area when I was planning my trip.
