Opus Hotels Review

It's in a great central location. Public transit is so convenient. I definitely recommend it! We stayed on the sixth floor and could see the whole neighborhood.

It's a pretty hip hotel and I found the room clean and very comfortable. My window was floor to ceiling and had the potential to let in a lot of light, but it was the bathroom window. Needless to say I kept it closed and shades down. Worse, my side of the building faced the restaurants and bar row, where all the night life is. Turns out Canda has abetter social life than I do and I was kept up till 2 am with the street noise.

Comfortable bed, trendy decorating themes that were colourful and bright instead of generic taupe or beige. Location of bathroom in my room had big windows facing onto the downtown city street which I didn't like, but there are rooms that do not have this configuration. The staff were fabulous and very quick to attend to requests. Valet car parking included. Food in the restaurant was a unique blend of styles catering to trendy food preferences. I would recommend Opus for a good location in Yaletown with so many great walking destination in all directions. They even have bikes that guests can use to go exploring!!

Very good hotel. They have very comfortable rooms and an attentive staff who proactively worked to make the stay more pleasant. The Opus is in the midst of many restaurants and right across the street from a train station, so it is in a very convenient location as well. I recommend it.

what a cool hotel! mimosas on check in. Jacuzzi tub. nice staff. bonus is its across from the train station which takes you right to the airport . Its also in the middle Yaletown -a cool neighborhood for eating and drinking. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice small Boutique Hotel close to Downtown with a good price ratio. Some rooms have a bathroom window towards the street though, so you better look out and close the blinds sometimes. Overall very friendly service and open for additional wishes if you have an event (we got the whole bar booked for a company event one evening).

Actually really enjoyed this place. Service was excellent, location was good as well.we stayed in 4 different hotels in Vancouver and this was one of our favorites. Wish they had a spa or pool.. but hey can't win them all.

The hotel is within walking distance of Yaletown. There are a bunch of cute little shops, cafes and restaurants near by. The rooms are nice and quiet although it's odd that the bathroom wall is basically a window to the street down below. The heated floors in the bathroom are a nice touch and make up for it though. The staff is great. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice small hotel great service. Only downside was the service in the bar. A little slow each time we have been to order drinks.

If you are looking for a hotel in a great location with great service, super staff and amazing amenities, then the Opus Vancouver is THE place to stay. Consistently over delivers an amazing experience.

First time staying at the OPUS Vancouver boutique hotel, after many stays at other major hotels in Vancouver. Was a little concerned about the parking for hotel in Yaletown, so we called ahead of our arrival to inquire about it, and we're advised it is all valet parking ($45). However, upon arrival, since we have a hybrid, we were advised the parking fee is currently waived for hybrids/EVs. We liked that perk. Then because our stay was, in part, a celebration event, we found we'd been upgraded to an impressive suite, and we were greeted with sparkling wine at reception, plus a small bottle of champagne and chocolates in our room. The room was amazing, and we were impressed by the staff. Well worth booking a special stay here, and the La Pentola restaurant is also fantastic (had dinner and breakfast there). We hope to return in the future.

You won t find more helpful staff and the hotel itself has many differences that make it special to begin with. A great Italian Restaurant down stairs that is frequented by local and unique well stocked minibar with things like scented candles and locally made gin. Everyone goes out of there way and requests were very promptly responded to. Thank you Opus!!

Great hotel in a central location. We took Canada Line in and it s across the street. Also super convenient to lots of restaurants, bars, shopping and urban amenities. An outer has to offer.

The rooms were nice, the decor still felt contemporary, staff was helpful and the fitness room was solid.

Highly recommend.

Love this boutique hotel. Have stayed twice and each time I find a new favourite place in Yaletown. Make sure you walk down along False Creek in the morning!

Stayed here a number of times when in Vancovuer for business and play. GREAT location right by the skytrain and tons of restaurants. Fun funky little hotel, great staff always full of recommendations for fun spots and food. I like the lobby bar too.

Very disappointed with the lack of service I am receiving. I have a gift certificate I have been trying to use since April 2018 and am still unable to reserve a room. Between the numerous black out dates, and available dates being 'subject to' other events (without this being written on the gift certificate itself), the certificate will expire before I ever get to use it. A waste of money.

Great hotel in the middle of Yaletown. Would highly recommend. Only complaint is the walls are a little too thin so you hear some noise from other rooms.

Stayed here a few times now, just starting another stay. Staff is always great and our room is nice as always. Would recommend.

This hotel is very mixed.
Good:
- excellent customer service
- thorough room cleaning
- unbeatable location, opposite the train station (direct access to YVR), in between two excellent food stores

Bad:
- bathroom door offers no privacy
- TV cable connection freezes every couple of minutes
- my room was directly adjacent to a nightclub with thumpy thumpy music on weekends

Fantastic hotel in Yaletown. Highly recommended. The rooms are great and the bar on the first floor has excellent drink options.

Funky art deco hotel. Purple room with pink highlights was definitely different.

Loved the room, the service, and the little touches. We were delighted with sparkling rose on check-in, jelly beans in our room in the afternoon, and free bikes available to explore the city. The location is perfect.

It was fun to stay in a hotel in my own city! You can't beat the location in the heart of Yaletown. It was not too noisy considering all the night clubs around. The room was great, comfy bed and pillows. Awesome smelling shower gel. I'd highly recommend this place!

I have been here twice, the location is great, the rooms are beautiful, and the staff is generally good...but don't try to get a drunk after midnight in your room or otherwise.

Great stay, this is a very convenient locatiob, there isba train station accross the street. Lots of food option and most things are 10mins walk.

It was incredibly nice staying here. The room had a great modern style and was super clean. I was a little freaked out by the giant window in the bathroom looking straight onto Hamilton street, but it was completely private and very cool. Beds and sheets very comfortable and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I got the chance.

Celebrated my friends birthday here. I had a blast, music was good and dance floor was packed. I'll definitely be going back.

Great customer service but our 'king' size bed was a queen and room was stuffy. Pentola was nice.

The rooms are all brightly coloured. Turn down service includes cool candy. Staff is awesome. Perfect location in Yaletown.

Pet friendly, super accommodating and welcoming.

We are from Vancouver but as a treat we booked the penthouse suite for new years eve. We felt welcome as soon as we came in the lobby!

We hit a hiccup with our dogs though. We had left them at the house, and had dropped in on them to let them out, feed them etc throughout the day. When the NYE festivities picked up though, our pet camera monitoring the dogs was going off with bark alerts every 2 minutes!

Although we didn't check in with our small pups, I checked with front desk to see if we could pick them up and bring them back to the hotel with us. Turns out our dogs were just as welcome as we were!

Now we all get to have a cozy NYE. Thanks Opus!

Great little hotel, excellent location. Would've loved to have breakfast earlier than 7am (when they open breakfast) before I have to go to work, but anyway...

I'd give it a five for atmosphere and customer service, but I was assigned a room without a bath tub. I'm not a shower person.

Good location. Decent food, a tad salty. Friendly service.

Went there at 1 pm in the afternoon and there was no one at the front desk. 3 people were waiting before me. Couldn't see any bellman. Parking on Davie is slim.

The service at OPUS was exceptional. Located in a prime location in Yaletown and just across the street from the Skytrain station. Rooms were clean and stylish. Would definitely recommend. Made my visit comfortable and hassle free.

I was at Opus for a photoshoot in which we were given a glass of champagne upon checking in and beautiful room on the seventh floor with two bathrooms, an office area, a lounge area and a gorgeous bath overlooking the streets of Yaletown. Fantastic experience.

Wow! Super nice room (king suite). Top shelf accessories. Wireless charging for phone, in room iPad, Dyson desk lamp, Nespresso, ... just makes it special. Location great, albeit a bit noisy on the corner facing the Cactus Club Bar (taxi stand location).

Great service! Staff very responsive. Added touches really set this hotel apart. Located in Yaletown section, easy access to myriad food and dining options.

Good location. Lots of nearby restaurants and the staff was attentive and helpful. It was nice to receive candy every night as well.
