I love working with Option 1 Staffing. Amy and Paula have been wonderful to work with and everyone has excellent customer service skills. They are good at understanding what you are looking for in a position and find a job that fits. I had more quality interviews in one week with them than I had in a whole month with other staffing agencies. They were able to get me a position at my dream company in a fast time frame and I am still currently working there and loving it.

Option 1 has been an amazing experience! Paula was great to work with, professional and friendly and found me a awesome job at corporate level with the right fit for my experience.
I highly recommend Option 1 for the great team of support and leadership.

Had a three month assignment at Stanford thru Option 1. They were professional, very helpful, great attitude, and their payroll processing is very efficient.

I had a really great experience with Nicole. She really went above and beyond for me finding me a position in a company that I really enjoy working for. I am so thankful for the services that Option 1 has provided for me. As a student, it was difficult to find any job that could match with my school schedule as well as be easily accessible without requiring me to drive. She made all of that happen, and I am extremely thankful. On top of that, this company made the hiring process a breeze and I was kept in the loop and updated frequently.

A great agency to work with- applied to many agencies and they were one of the ones who stayed on top of their work and made sure my experience was worth while. A great team indeed!

It saddens my heart to write this review because I initially had a great experience with option one. Paula & McElle were both very welcoming and helped secure a position within 2 weeks of meeting them. They were great resources during the position and helped me find another position after the initial contract was over. However I was interviewing on my own for permanent positions and everything was up in the air. I turned down the offer for option one in hopes to pursue the permanent opportunity. I was transparent with Paula about what was going on and she assured me I did everything I needed to do on my end & also stated I could reach out if I needed assistance from the company.

Unfortunately the permanent position did not work out. So I contacted Option One for assistance in finding another position. I didn't hear back so I called and talked to Regina. She told me Paula was on vacation and I could forward my information to her for open positions. Heard nothing else from Regina. Once Paula was back from vacation I reached out via email & phone several times. When I would call I was immediately directed to voicemail & none of my emails were answered. I am a young, educated, experienced professional undergoing financial hardships. This was expressed in my emails and voicemails.

There has been absolutely no response by the Option One team. Instead of having the decency to let me know they no longer want to work with me, I receive an email from the HR department stating I left the agency in July and that my 401K is waiting for me.

To ghost me (give no response) is completely unprofessional and disheartening. It is a struggle to find a good job and I had hopes with Option One and they trampled on those hopes. Tread lightly if you choose to work with them.

Option 1 Staffing has been the best resource! I've shopped around and this by far is the most professional and personable experience in the Bay Area.
Greg and Paula are first-rate characters and the supporting staff are always friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend their services!

Option 1 Staffing was the blessing in disguise I was in great need of. I had been on a long bumpy path of education and was ready for a career. I had been applying online for jobs for at least 6 months, but unfortunately no avail.

One day, I received a call from Nicole and the rest was history. I came in for my interview with Amy and also Paula. Both so sweet and wonderful. Nicole did an amazing job communicating with me back and forth. The interview really made me think of what I wanted out of a job. A couple of weeks later, a temp-assignment came as an opportunity and I am ever so thankful to Paula for bringing it to my attention. An assignment that was just for a few weeks ended up being the job I was looking for.

Exactly 4 months later, I have now secured a permanent position in Stanford University, School of Medicine. I am equally thankful to the Stanford team for providing this opportunity.

Option 1 Staffing really opened the door for me. Yes, some may have say it is so cliche, but I am living this reality. I must have applied to over 100 jobs online through various recruiters electronically. I really now wish that I had come in contact with this wonderful team earlier. But like they say, when the time is right everything will fall in place.

I've had a wonderful experience with Option 1. Amy at Option 1 connected me with Stanford University and I have been working there as a temp for a couple months now. I was recently offered the full-time benefited position and am going to take it! Amy helped me find the start to my career and I am forever grateful.

Option 1 Staffing is a great company with great people working there. They are very helpful in placing people in jobs that are a good match for each individual. The office staff is very helpful and accommodating and always available to you when you need them.

One of the best things about them is that if, for any reason, you don't feel a placement is a good fit they will find you another position with no questions asked. They also find jobs of any length of time you wish to work and will accommodate keeping you working temp jobs or temp to perm.

I highly recommend working with this staffing agency. They will keep you working!

Option 1 has been great as being the middle man to getting me my current position. They are all nice and very welcoming and willing to work with you to get the position you want.

I had the opportunity to work with Option 1 Staffing Services this past year. I feel that the employees (not just the one I worked with regularly, but all of them) really made an effort to get to know me as a person, resulting in a better fit position for work. I would stop in to drop my time sheets off from time to time, just to see their faces, because that's how truly great they were at their jobs. This has been an incredible experience from start to finish, and I recommend it to all of my friends who need help finding their passion.

Update 2/23/2017: Never heard from them again. Pretty sure I got called back just so they could ask me to update my rating. Updating it again to my original score.

Update 2/4/2015: I was contacted by Greg Myers, the president of Option 1 staffing this morning who formally apologized for the experience I had and said he'd handle my case personally to ensure my satisfaction. I have to say I did not expect this and I found it very courteous and professional. That is not something that I would expect most companies to do and for that I'm willing to bump up my score a bit.

Original Review: Was called by them after putting my resume up on Monster. Went in for an interview which was pleasant and the woman who interviewed me named Paula was sweet. She said she was considering me for a job in Sunnyvale doing similar work to the work I am currently doing.

I was then offered a position a week later by a woman named Sarah who wanted me to work up at Stanford, which is a little out of the way for me but I was interested anyways. After calling me saying she was going to do a background check and would call me for an interview the next week, I suddenly got a call the next week from her basically asking me to accept the job on the spot. I am currently working already and I found it a little unprofessional that they would want me to accept a job on the spot without wrapping up my previous engagements. She also contacted the wrong phone number after I specifically gave her a number to contact me.

Long story short, I found the overall experience a little unprofessional. She apparently made a mistake as to where I was actually located and in the end I was rudely told that they "can't work with me". Maybe they are helpful for some people, but I was left with a very bitter taste in my mouth.

Amazing people, super friendly and easy to work with! They helped me get employeed within a week at a job I absolutely love. Paula was very helpful and quick to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend.

I was in need of a part-time position while I completed my degree and Option 1 was able to find me a great place that was willing to work with my school schedule. I have worked with other companies before that were never as successful finding me exactly what I needed when I needed it.
