Great place to buy a new Hyundai. Sales guy Wil Vinson was great to deal with it. Made it easy and fair. Will go back and try service dept. And next time we need a car.

Edit: we thought we had a deal where we'd leave them a check for$100 to hold for 30 days in case they didn't receive our trade-in title. One week later and they have cashed the check. That's pretty shady in my opinion. I figure they will all blame it on someone else. Just be aware that stuff like this can happen. This changes from a 5 star review to 3.

I must commend Lake Norman Hyundai for getting me into the dealership after 6 weeks of emailing about my search for a car for my daughter. I would never have found myself there if I had been made inquire only by phone or in person. Everyone at Lake Norman Hyundai was helpful and easy to deal with. I did get a car for my daughter and it was entirely my decision to get it.

John the Finace manager is awesome he went above and beyond to help me get financed for a car. I had been looking for a new car for a while and kept getting dead ends everywhere I went. I called and spoke to John about my issue and he actually listen to me and didn t try to just hit me the typical dealership sales trick he actually listen and worked above and beyond the call of duty to get me in the car I actually wanted. I am so grateful for this dealership and his service and recommend them to anyone having issues getting financed! My only complaint was they didn t offer me any kind of service offers to come back to for the new car when it needs routine services oil changes etc. Thank you Lake Norman for and amazing first time experience with you and actually caring for my needs and situation and John is and awesome asset to your dealership!

Not too far from Charlotte to drive. The car dealer was friendly and informative. A little pushy for a sale(all dealerships are). I went to look at the Tucson, but they had it in another lot that was secured and not accessible to the public. I had to drive from the main lot with the dealer to the other lot. Me personally, I like to walk around the lot and take my time. Not possible since the dealer was with me the whole time asking me questions.

The service I received over the last week was absolutely outstanding. First I'd like recognize Michael Impagliazzo in Parts. He went over and above to assist me in selecting a new set of wheels and tires for my Santa Fe. Additionally Rodney Newton in Service again went over and above assisting me through the service portion of my visits. He and Michael both kept me informed through to completion of my needs. Both are definate assets to your dealership. I'd also like to thank Cam Stewart for allowing me to test drive his Santa Fe prior to deciding on my wheel and tire setup.

I just bought my first car and Mike Johnson was extremely helpful as well as everyone else I worked with. Mike is a very honest man who goes above and beyond for his customers. It was a very smooth car-buying experience. I will recommend this place to everyone looking to buy a car. I love the warranty that comes with Hyundai. Their waiting area is very nice and makes you feel relaxed and at home- with massage chairs, Starbucks cofffee, snacks, and tv. I am so happy with my purchase and I am in love with my Elantra!

He showed me several different Sonatas and answered all my questions. I ended up buying a Sonata that day. Got everything I wanted for the price I wanted to spend. Great experience.

Very friendly staff, attentive to customers needs.
Even tho they we re very busy their General Manager Cam took time out to be sure I was tsken care of and happy.
My salesman Richard, was very helpful and took time to listen to my concerns .I didn t feel pressured into buying a vehicle, like other dealerships I visited.
I am very pleased with my Sonata, and I recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a great car/SUV.

Attentive timely salesman (juan) promptly showed us several units that met our requirements. He got our favorite out for us to test drive.Juan went thru the units operations in detail to our satisfaction. All in all the admin was timely, but 4 hrs for a cash and trade deal had my wife weary. The time seemed to drag as we waited for our trades valuations. There probably was an external dependency. We are enjoying the vehicle and would recommend it and the dealer to anyone.

Muliple trips to the mechanic after a month driving the 2019 , I am also 2 months pass my temporary tags being expired and they wont return my calls. I have called 8 times since May 24th with call record.

I took my 2012 Sonata in for an oil change at Lake...

I took my 2012 Sonata in for an oil change at Lake Norman Hyundai at the end of December. The next day while out of town, all the oil had drained out. The service manager at Asheville Hyundai confirmed that the oil drain plug was not tightened correctly. What a mess! This caused a series of mechanical and electrical issues. I took the car back to Lake Norman Hyundai the next day and it was run through diagnostics. Lake Norman Hyundai's service report said no issues were found, however the issues were not fixed. Lake Norman Hyundai seemed uninterested in making this right when they learned I was not keeping the car. Not even an offer to reimburse for the oil change. The unresolved issues caused the trade-in value to drop drastically, not to mention dealing with unnecessary stress about safety. I'm waiting for a reply from the managing partner about my experience.

From my very first contact via text from John Davis to finalizing the deal on purchase 2/2 we were treated like family. They were not in it for 'the sale' they were in it to fulfill our needs.....which were complicated and a challenge to say the least. There are not enough characters to share every time the team exceeded my expectations during the process. I would HIGHLY recommend John, Jordan and my apologies for not remembering his name the sales manager. They took what has always been a dreaded experience to one I am honored to review.

More, and more disappointed with LNH every time I stop in for service. They are not realistic on service times, they lost their Genesis valet services and the staff is stressed out. Customer service is lacking. Senior management needs to make a lot of changes. There are a few good folks left but my guess is they will not tolerate the environment long.

Service department is horrible. They never call you back when they say they re supposed to call you back and give you the run around on the phone. They ve had my car for 2 weeks and it s still not done. They told me it would be ready Tuesday but they keep back ordering parts and not telling me and didn t even offer me a loaner car. Really sad, I thought I would have a better experience bringing my car to a dealership to get serviced. Will not be bringing my car back here for any more repairs, I think I ll look a little further very disappointed.

I am currently in a lease and I received a letter in the mail that intrigued me and presented an opportunity to break my lease with no penalty to me. I decided to go to the dealership and take the time to ask questions and explore all my options. Jeremy Rawls was whom I worked with and I have never worked with anyone more courteous, helpful and respectful. He went out of his way to take the time to make sure all my questions were answered correctly and that I understood everything fully. While I did not end up terminating my lease early- I will be back in a few month to purchase a vehicle and I will definitely ask for Jeremy! If you are looking for great, easy service with someone who treats you like a friend, definitely go see Jeremy at Lake Norman Hyundai!

If I could rate lower than one star I would. We have a 2018 Hyundai Elantra that was purchased brand new from another dealership and before two years was up the battery died. I thought nothing of it and bought a new battery from Advance Auto Parts and replaced the battery myself which seemed to do the trick, fast forward to four weeks ago when the car wouldn t start again. We took the car to Lake Norman Hyundai where they said there was a parasitic drain the first day and they were trying to figure out where it was. The next day after not hearing from them I called them up and they said everything was fine and the battery was recharged and there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Four days later the car wouldn t start again, we called them up and they told us there was nothing they could do. Since then we have been dealing with corporate and just found out that the dealership told them that they told us there was a battery issue and that they replaced it, which is a flat out lie. Have been less than impressed with both Lake Norman Hyundai and the case manager who is supposed to be helping us with this issue.

They are a decent location for service but I doubt...

They are a decent location for service but I doubt I will be going back. Had to have two rear tires replaced, aligned, and a supposed oil change.
So many errors:

1) I was told I could be dropped off at home and picked up (as it took most of the day) they were happy to drop me off but sent their driver home so I had to find my own transportation once they were ready and didn't bother to let me know until the car was ready.
2) Replaced my two rear tires but failed to notice significant sidewall wear in a front tire which required immediate replacement (see photo).
3) Supposedly aligned my tires however when I took my car to a different location for replacement their alignment check (machine serviced for calibration the prior week) showed serious misalignment (see photo)

Overall very disappointing.

Review is for service work . . .We had a chip repair work completed on my son's car. The service men/women were very nice and helpful. The y adivsed us to wait for a dry sunny day so that the chip could be repaired correctly. They wanted to do the right thing and the best job for us. They did the right thing for the customer. Let me start off by saying that it's hard to impress me, especially at an auto dealer shopping for a used car. What can I say? Lake Norman Hyundai surpassed the quality and care that one expects when making a major purchase. Jeremy Buettner is absolutely one of the best people to work with period. He has a talent for making the negotiation of price, less like armed combat, but rather more like a conversation between friends. Some people have the gift. I wold definitely recommend the whole team. From sales to finance a pleasure to deal with. We all know that purchasing a car is a chore. If it's not your favorite thing to do, give Lake Norman Hyundai a shot. I think you will not regret doing so.

Not only did they do a great job with my requested service, they went ahead and washed my car and vacuumed my floor mats at no additional charge. Awesome! Best description I can come up with. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from LKN Hyuandai. They are true professionals. No hassle and they treat you like Royalty. Kevin Trieu, Sales Manager is the bomb!! This guy just anticipates what your needs are. He has the kind of temperament you want to be around when making the second most expensive decision you are going to make (third behind marriage). He calmly explained all the numbers when I had questions. You could tell that he really cared. Don t buy anywhere else. I lived in Virginia the first time and Raleigh, NC now. BTW, I purchased a 2019 Santa Fe Ultimate. This SUV is going to be a runaway hit. Outstanding service, great selection and excellent product knowledge is worth the drive!

The dealership is just ok. Going there for service has been pleasant until now. Nothing like paying $300 to have work done on a 2 year old Tuscon which was supposed to include a wheel rotation and balance only to start up the highway and the steering wheel shakes more than paying the money. Nothing I dislike more than people who don't do the job they were paid to do. I've tried calling and emailing to no avail. S, buyer beware if you use them for service.

I must give credit where due, Jake and the team at Lake Norman Hyundai made my recent purchase smooth and easy. I got a great deal on my new Santa Fe and they also gave me a great trade in value. This was my fifth vehicle purchased from Lake Norman Hyundai and it was one of the best experiences yet. Jake who has assisted me in the past took care of everything. My purchase was done through emails, texts and website information. My new Venue was delivered to my home and I signed papers with a very professional driver who had knowledge of all the paperwork. Three great things about this experience. First, Jake was awesome gave me a great deal, very professional and followed up on everything. Second, awesome selection more cars to choose from than any other local dealer and no hassle when I asked for it to be delivered. Third, I love my new Hyundai Venue its the Mini Cooper Clubman I would never buy but better. Great looks, gas mileage and fun to drive. I was looking to save money on my payment and gas, and I accomplished that. Jon the finance guy was great, it was late on a Monday and he got us in and out. WOW! I could write a book about this wonderful place and the awesome car buying experience my husband and I had with this dealership (we live over 3 hours away)! Started through text with Ian going above and beyond providing us an enormous amount of pictures and prompt service about all questions we had. Made the deal online and the car was clean and looked exactly the way Ian had described it through text. At the dealership we were welcomed by the sales manager Jeremy, who even went further to exceed our expectations!! Walked out wanting to buy 2 more vehicles after just purchasing the one we came for! Traded in a vehicle and was taken advantage of on my trade. Of course the finance guy, sales rep and I think the gm made it sound like they were doing me a great service. Checked a few days later and my jeep had sold for almost 6000 more than what they offered me on my trade. I can say I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership again. Also the service department is grossly under staffed. Buyer Seller beware!
