Very good end-to-end experience at Opteven.
Support, technical and commercial service available, pleasant and efficient.
Nothing to say for me except that the repair of my car was long because the exchanges between the garage, the expert and the warranty are not very smooth (complexity of the procedure put forward by my dealer who does not did not seem cheerful to work with this guarantee).

Hello. July 2020 We bought a car from a professional. Shortly after the purchase, I was noticed with a big motor problem and serious damage! invoice for 11000th engine replacement !!!!!! Who says purchase from a pro dis warranty (6 months). So at opteven.

Reason for refusal: "A warranty extension has been carried out" I dream ??? we cannot extend a warranty !! in what world do we live !!
So if a mechanic offers to buy his car with this guarantee organization, run away !! Spend your money elsewhere. I am preparing a case for a dispute in court. I hope I am saving you from problems with my review.

I see a lot of negative comments it's amazing, for my part I had a box problem on my iveco tipper, I was provided with a loan vehicle only for 5 days knowing that it is my tools of work, I asked for an extension of the rental which I was refused because it awaits the validation of the estimate of the garage, with all the negative comments I feel the socket coming, we will see the rest .....

unbelievably bad, amateurish and extremely slow. insurer that does not insure much or even nothing.
We have a major breakdown in May 2020, engine failure and injector failure at 92000Km. Vehicle immobilized for 7 months and still guaranteed by Opteven. after several steps on my part expertise, relaunch, recall to my load of course. this company did not participate in any financial charges. result 17,000 euros of repairs and no support from them because of a faulty injector that is not part of the list of guaranteed parts. inhuman and shameful enterprise. We expected at least a commercial gesture but nothing, no compassion, it's just SCANDALA.

I have had a vehicle for almost 3 years in LOA. I have a maintenance, service and wear parts contract. Following the technical check in November 2020, my battery is detected as being at the end of its life. However, opteven refuses to take charge of it because I have carried out 2 interviews. Except that vehicle maintenance is a different thing from changing wear parts. In this case, the wearing parts must be changed pile-up at the time of maintenance. There had never been any question of choosing between maintenance and wearing parts, the two being clearly separated in the contract. But impossible to make them understand.
Opteven is to be avoided, unprofessional, not listening.

Impossible to put less than one star because it deserves zero stars. A real scam the extension of warranty failure everything except. Following the breakdown of the distribution on my vehicle coming out of overhaul and after passing the expert (6,500 of damage) and two months of immobilization: refusal of support and more TWO months to decide it is mockery and the levies to extend this guarantee continue to be levied. NORMAL? For my part it will not stop there. This insurance company does not care about its policyholders. A FUIR especially do not subscribe to this warranty extension ANY BREAKDOWN with this company, it does not cover anything, you will lose your money.

In bad faith, to flee !! I never give an opinion, even when I am disappointed, but I decided to leave my opinion on all the sites that talk about opteven.

However, before leaving my review, I sent 3 e-mails to opteven, one on their website, another to customer service and the last to technical service, none of which replied. Well done.

In November 2020, my car broke down, the alternator belt broke with a major water leak, the car was towed to the garage closest to my home, verdict, after putting it under pressure, leaking in several places, water pump, oil filter support, and inside the engine, it had to be disassembled, to arrive at the place of the leak. (dsl for terms but I don't know too much about mechanics)

Well I call opteven to benefit from the mechanical warranty, they told me that the mechanic to call. Of course, mechanics don't know about opteven, or they have bad experiences with it.
In short, the mechanic calls them, we ask him to send a photos of the parts changed and send the estimate.
My mechanic sends all this, 3 weeks later, opteven answers us, in view of the elements sent (photos), the removal of the parts on the workbench, deprives us of any technical analysis which justifies the replacement of the requested elements (LR leak)

If the photos prevent you from doing a technical analysis, you had to tell the mechanic on the phone not to touch anything and not to drop anything at all before taking the photos or send an expert to analyze on site.

Today, I paid an invoice of 1580 while in my mechanical breakdown contract, I am entitled to a refund of up to 3000. We are tightening our belts during this festive period, while the insurance companies are cramming on our backs and especially during this year of health crisis.

VO 35,000 kms bought this summer with a 1-year warranty + 4-year extension which people praise me in concession. Opteven sends me a nice email where, I quote = Your car is effectively protected, your budget is preserved and your mobility is guaranteed! ... let's be clear, if we fall into the box of the said guarantee. Effectively protected on a leaky gearbox on a 35,000 km vehicle = this is not covered, end of non-receipt indicates the concession to me, direct refusal of opteven! Not even a small effort of participation, without asking for the moon and 100% support. So like any insurance, everything is well insured, except what happens to us. I will not be taken back, new customer experience at 0.

Unable to terminate my contract.

Unable to terminate my contract.
I sent two unanswered termination emails and they continue to charge me.
Cannot reach them by phone (unlimited wait)

Refuse to take charge of repair costs yet taken under warranty in their cgv because I don't have an oil change invoice that dates from before the car was purchased, so obviously I don't have it.

PLEASE TERMINATE MY CONTRACT AND REFUND ME THANKS

The worst guarantee I have ever known a real scam !!!!!
We have had a contract with them at 40 per month since February 2019 so we have already paid 760 and since then we have had two breakdowns for which we are not responsible (sensors for the parking aid and a motor unit that failed) absolutely nothing is taken into account and not even the revision! We are going to file a complaint because we were really sold that as supposedly peaceful but in fact we were clearly robbed !!!! I can guarantee you that I am going to give you a very bad advertisement and that I will not stop there!

I had to change the oil filter and the oil plus changed the headlight and a crack in the windshield and when I contacted Opteven I received no service ... money thrown in the trash for 1 year and a half on condition of paying the "guarantee".
I do not recommend Opteven in any way.

To flee! I never give my opinion, but we are the victim of an unfairness and significant prejudice !!!
In February 2020, our mechanic told us that we had to change the engine block of our car, i.e. an invoice of 8,300. I contact Opteven, to know if we can have a support. They ask for expertise. This will come after many reminders from us in July. Containment is no excuse with such a delay! Each time customer service is difficult to reach, no follow-ups ...
A second expertise is required, sometimes on the first two there would be an error! This one arrives at the end of October! Such slowness is amateurism!
And at the beginning of November, the verdict falls, the engine block change does not enter into the guarantees of our contract!
It's not as if the blackout wasn't clear from the start !.
We had to have a 50% manufacturer support, this one expired because it was limited in time.
We end up with a car stuck in the dismantled engine garage. Now the garage asks us to either do the repair or 8,300. Or to reassemble the engine without repair with security costs, while it was Opteven who made this request.
We are launching a legal procedure, because it is not possible that these people without sort like that ....

I bought a practically new used vehicle. The garage recommended that I take this additional guarantee which I have been doing for more than a year.
I asked for their help for a problem that occurred on my vehicle and there ..... Begins the problems with this warranty which of course does not cover much. Too long to explain on a review
I do not recommend: unprofessional, we cannot guarantee you much, even the garage has had problems with the admissibility of requests. They are incompetent. Ask me to pay and if it persists after only they will take over ....
I am very recovered. I have just terminated with them.
They deserve a consumer service that looks at this guarantee

The procedure for taking into account and validating a repair order is so cumbersome and complicated that professionals no longer want to hear about Opteven. Why does Opteven not provide an online service that facilitates and reduces support? At each request for support by a garage it takes 30 minutes to contact Opteven at least and one hour of a very complicated administration procedure that does not know how to do anything else apart from the procedure.
Gentlemen, Ladies of Opteven go to a garage and watch how it goes, you will see how you are light years away from the digital economy and customer service.
It's a shame to be so bad at the start of the service because for the rest I admit that the assistance is really good. Streamline the process, listen to your policyholders and you will earn your stars.
