The hotel is super clean and incredibly friendly. The fitness room is also fairly decent, with free weights up to 50 lbs and some modern strength and cardio machines. It is quite expensive on the downside. Internet is costly and the restaurant is excessive. The staff is helpful and kind. Overall a nice experience.

For the location and price really hard to best. Rooms are just okay, but clean and again, great value. Steakhouse in hotel is solid and the bar (heavy pours) is great which is where I also recommend eating (full steakhouse menu available).

Definitely enjoyed my stay at the Omni Hotel. The location is very central to a lot of tourist attractions if that's why you're in town for and the staff are all very helpful. Valet service is $65/night and room service is pretty pricey but I guess that's to be expected in San Francisco. The lobby was very nice and cozy and I immediately felt calm and relaxed after being out and about all day.

We stayed here last December and we prefer Omni hotels due to their excellent service and hotels.

Omni SF had all we expected of it - excellent room in great location with awesome view of downtown SF at night and walkable to Union square, Embarcadero and so on and exceptional service with hotel folks going out of their way to help us with crib, extra mini-fridge and so on for our 6 months old [at that time]. We walked to ice skate, shopping, exploratorium and so on. Please keep up the good work!

Only con is valet parking cost at 60$/day but par for SF.

Centrally located near everything in the heart of the Financial District. I've stayed here several times when visiting for work, and it's always been a great experience. The rooms are clean, and well put together. The staff is courteous and attentive. The amenities include a gym, which is also nice. It's overall great place to stay, especially when you can get a good deal on the room.

First let me say that the location is deceptively in a good area. By that I mean a 3 block walk to Chinatown, and a leisurely 10 minute walk to North Beach, and Union Square. The staff is superb and very helpful. Coffee and OJ delivered every morning, complimentary bottled water and a good sized room. The room rate is certainly reasonable. It is understandable why they are highly rated. Stay here while in SF. You will be glad you did.

8/10/2018 Worst part of my wedding day. We booked a room at the Omni San Francisco through Priceline for our wedding night, and the receptionist said they were giving us a room on the nice 7th floor. The 7th floor is outdated, and our room was dirty and surprisingly small. There was a blood stain on the curtain and the tub had black stains/marks. Additionally, they put us in an interior room where our view was two sides of the hotel and an office sky scraper. If that wasn t disappointing enough, the yellow light that emanated into our room from the office building kept us up all night. To finish the experience, the hotel charged me directly a mystery $75 fee. Strongly do not recommend this hotel or Priceline. There are better deals at nicer hotels with updated and clean interior.

We stayed at the Omni San Fran Dec 25-Dec 30 & we just loved the hotel. Every staff member we encountered was exceptional and our room was perfect. We stayed on the 16th floor & it was extremely quiet. Our room was absolutely spotless & the housekeepers on the guest floors were fabulous.
If I ever make it back to San Francisco I will definitely be staying at the Omni.

Incredible hotel in the financial district but very close to Market, Union Square, and North Beach. High quality service, excellent rooms with very comfortable beds. Great and helpful staff with any of your needs.

Absolutely beautiful hotel located conveniently close to the financial district. I recently stayed here as part of a job interview and enjoyed my short time immensely. My room was spacious, clean, and the decor was appreciable. The proximity to several good dinner options as well as my interview location the next day was also nice. The one complaint I have is that it can be difficult to navigate the "free" wi-fi which requires you to sign up for the Omni loyalty club. However, all in all there are much worse places to put your head down!

Held two Investigators' meeting at the Omni this weekend, one on Friday and another on Saturday, with investigators from across the US and from Australia and New Zealand. All greatly appreciated the hotel, both in terms of their guest rooms as well as in the two floors of meeting rooms, including the food service. All service was spectacular, the hotel is lovely, and the location and ambiance can't be beat. I would definitely plan future meetings at the Omni, or return as a guest with my wife for a weekend in SF.

Staff was so nice and helpful. Room was beautiful and clean! Greeted with gingerbread cookies and apple cider and sugar cookies in the room! Thank you Omni for another beautiful property and experience.

One of our group found stinky, soiled, brown stained sheets in her bed our first night here. She was offered a new room, she declined as she was all moved in and dressed for bed, and it was 1:00 AM. A bottle of wine was sent up as recompense. Her next day was a bust because of not sleeping much at all. I felt somewhat responsible because I chose this hotel for our weekend rendezvous. The next day I tried to coax the manager into comping her room for that night but was treated rather poorly. It seems that this hotel is more interested in a few dollars than happy costumers. They could have done so many things to satisfy us but blew it.

Mixed reviews of this Hotel. Service was good and the room service food excellent. The hotel though is showing its age and is an expensive hotel that for your money, you can do better elsewhere. Upon leaving the hotel the front door man was in a huge argument with the chauffuer drivers at the property. Was unprofessional to say the least.

If you want luxury, stay here. It's in the heart of the financial district and within walking distance of China Town and Little Italy. Bob's steak house is downstairs for your choice of great steaks or seafood and great drinks. If you don't want that you are within walking distance to 50 other restaurants and the front desk can make you a reservation if you ask correctly ;). You can also get on BART and Muni from here.

Had a fantastic experience, Josh, the manager, made the trip memorable for the bride to be by sending up complimentary champagne and chocolates, breakfast at Bob's was amazing, would definitely return the next time we're in San Francisco!

Room was spacious and comfortable. Free coffee in the morning delivered to your room. Also since we were on our anniversary they sent us a complementary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries!

The bartender was great, the room was beautiful, and the hotel treated my mom like a queen. It was her birthday and they brought her cake and upgraded her room and they were just amazing.

Fantastic service. Big shout out to Debora Tjandra the Loyalty Ambassador. My husband contacted her and mentioned it was my BD and our Anniversary. We arrived and was given an upgrade to the top floor and a beautiful tray was delivered. Everyone is fantastic from the doorman to the frontdesk. The maid/housekeeping fantastic. Beautiful property, room and the bed WOW. TY Omni family, the Rose with the turn down and music playing when we came back that night was truly Romatic.

Absolutely a welcoming experience. Albeit its aged appearance, the hotel is impeccably well-maintained. I especially enjoyed my interaction with the staff. It was a great lodging experience, the old fashioned way.

Highly recommend this location, the staff are over the top friendly and helpful. The decor is up to date, beautiful, clean and elegant. There is fresh water diffused with fruit and fresh apples near the elevators. There is always someone to open a door for you with a smile and genuine feeling of wanting to help you, all staff seemed to like their job. If raining, umbrellas are offered. If you need help getting around the city, making reservations, finding best deals, the staff goes out of their way to help you. We have stayed here as a couple, as a family and as mother/daughter trip - all visits were special and we felt safe and welcome.

The Omni was a very nice hotel to stay. The rooms were a bit cramped, but that's what you get with a hotel in San Francisco. Lots of street noise, so if you're a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs. Great location to everything!

Booked this hotel seeing the ratings inTripAdvisor. Stayed for two nights. In my experience, it is a highly overrated and expensive hotel in SFO downtown area. Rooms are quite small, even though with good quality furniture. No free breakfast or parking. Valet parking is expensive and not worth. The parking garage in the building right opposite to hotel was decently priced. Food at the attached restaurant is average quality but quite expensive.

Will prefer to stay at Hilton or Marriott in future when visiting SFO.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the hotel's location is in a very convenient part of the city. Our room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable (with decent pillows, which is a rarity), and water pressure in the shower was top notch. I would definitely stay at this location again, and it gets my highest recommendation.

Hotel is terrific. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. However, be cautioned--valet parking charges are outrageously high ($65) and the hotel tacks on a $50/night "resort fee" to your bill. So any special rate you find online suddenly turns into $250-300/night or more regardless.

Love the place. Has a vintage feel to it with modern architecture. We were upgraded to the luxury room with free WiFi and loved it (top floor, city view - who wouldn't love that)! Everyone was very hospitable and friendly. The location is very central as well. About a mile or so to union square. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment about food.
