Great Sunday brunch. Come early if you want to get at it.
Very nice rooms and great location! Prettynice view from the 10th floor!
Modern interior and decor, large conference rooms, clean and good service.
Came here for a weekend trip. Always love staying at Omni Hotels. Services and room was wonderful as usual. The only reason I gave this Omni 3 stars instead of my usual 5 stars is because of the restaurant. Now, this was a quick weekend trip for us. Just wanted to go to a handful of shops that would take a day. We came back to the hotel exhausted from the running around and the traffic. We really did not want to try to find somewhere to have dinner. We know that the Omni restaurant is always good, but since we were doing a fast weekend trip we did not pack our "dress up" clothes. Went down to the restaurant and asked for a table for 2. We did not wait long and were seated by the kitchen, no big deal. As my husband and I talked about the day we started taking notice of the open tables that were up front and had a better view of the city. We watched as other people came in, that were "well dressed" were placed at those areas. At first we were insulted. Then we had to laugh. We looked over and next to us was also a family not "dressed up" . They got stuck in the back with us too! We just laughed. Must be where they stick the eyesores..put the pretty people up front for all to see. So....if you want a nice table with a view, make sure you are dressed to the nine!
It's really noisy even though we were having a professional event. There was lots of noise coming from the staff and the rest of the hotel as we were getting ready to start and it didn't stop until one of our members told them to stop.
Just passing through when meeting friends who did stay there, very nice lobby and fruit-infused ice water which was a lifesaver on 100+ degree day.
Love this property! No surprises. Staff are friendly and helpful...make eye contact evenw passing in the hall. Room is clean and spacious. Plenty of outlets for my ever growing collection of chargers and e-devices. Bed is comfy. Perfect after a loonngg day of meetings!
The brunch is soooooo good!!! They have sucha good selection of food here
I was just visiting a relative who was staying there
Beautifuly appointed room, wonderful spa services, excellent friendly staff at all points-door, front desk, bar, restaurant, spa
Numerous delectable meal choices in the restaurant. Our food was cooked to perfection. Wonderful wine list. We'll look forward to our next opportunity to stay with Omni.
A nice place to stay, relax and unwind. Home away from home
Nice hotel but not as nice as the other Omni hotels I have stayed in.
Great experience, helpful and polite staff, tasty cookies, nice lounge. Rooms are nice. Good location too.Wow!!
Gloriously beautiful place to stay. Close to lots of markets.
worst place to have parties I had to wait 1 hour 10-11:00 just for valet to give me my car
Location is OK considering the metro is a few blocks away. Place is clean and don't have any complaints.
Got a poor table, I cut my steak and my glass wobbles all over, spilling half my drink, we get relocated but no replacement for my drink. Food was good, nothing amazing tho. Atmosphere was poor floors were unpolished concrete lame.
Nice hotel in DTLA.
However, DTLA is not so nice.
Everything about the hotel was nice except for the Parking; it was valet only and I enjoy having options. Also, wifi was not complimentary. Thankfully, I have t-mobile so Netflix is unlimited. But, seriously, what kind of hotel doesn't have free wifi? That's messed up.
Banquet room, food, service, and valet was great for a larger gathering. Very attentive wait staff!
Room was spacious and the hotel is in a great location.
Ate dinner at Noe. Delicious salmon, steak, scallops appetizer and creme brulee! Excellent service.
Enjoyed my stay here. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Great location.
I stay at this Omni property regularly. From arrival to departure, everything is perfect. Highly recommend club level.
The service was excellent the parking was terible and expensive.
Love the service, location and just how clean this place is
I want to like the place but there are issues. The hotel booked an event so the hostess tried to seat us in the cafe next door. We had to suggest eating in the bar. The bar is very nice we great atmosphere.
The food was imaginative but salty.
The wait staff was excellent.
Very nice rooms, good service, nice view from the rooms, the staff r nice too
There was hair all over the room, on the bed, on the towels, and on the floor in the bathroom. There was also a dirty pair of panties in the closet on the luggage stand. So gross. Will never stay here again.
For about 2 years now I have stayed at the OMNI about once a month and requested the club floor. Several times the room has not been ready at 4 p.m. the check in time and it has not been on the club floors. Since paying more seems to get one nothing I will not be staying at the OMNI again.
No way to get a drink or snack between 10p-6a, unless you want to pay for room service. No morning coffee service in lobby. Room was worn out and dated. No one cleaned or restocked my room between Monday and Friday, when though I only opted out for 1 night. Even with gold status there were almost no perks to staying here.
Located in the heart of downtown next to the Walt Disney concert hall, The Broad and Moca. The hotel was very clean and well staffed.
I was staying there due to the Porter Ranch gas leak and it was the worst Hotel I ever stayed in. Front desk treats you like trash. The valet doesn't even know how to drive manual Vehicle. I asked them that i prefer to park my own Vehicle but they gave me hard time so I gave up and let them drive it which ended with them burning my clutch. The manager of this Hotel said they will never let him drive it again but the next day the same person drove it. In few weeks there was a accident in the parking and they let other people drive in the parking lot. This placd is filled with lies and rudeness. I would not recommend anyone to this hotel.
the location was good, lots of air and light. The service was pretty attentive, although we had some trouble hailing our waiter at the end for the check. The food was quite good, with well sized portions and not too pricey. I ended up being able to bring half of my sandwich home for dinner. the fresh fruit was great too! Overall I had a good time and would certainly consider returning if I was in the area
Good Sunday brunch buffet. Our waiter was a bit weird.
Beautiful hotel, the rooms are good sized and well appointed and the staff is very professional. Well located for walks to The Broad or Disney Hall or Grand Central, an easy car trip anywhere else. Nice outdoor spaces as well.
It is always an added bonus when they recognize me and make me feel especially welcome. From the valet to the Bellman, wonderful experience all round.
Fantastic hotel. Rooms are contemporary, staff is phenomenal and accommodating, and the onsite dining and spa options are first class.
Me and my boyfriend spent the majority of our stay which was really easy to do because of the attentive wait staff and beautiful views of the city.
well-appointed room. excellent service. stayed at club level where they have an attractive and large room with views and a good buffet breakfast, drinks and cocktail-type food in the evening. convenient to Broad Museum and Walt Disney Concert Hall. Free car service to any location within a 3-mile radius is a great service.
Nice, clean hotel. They have free shuttle to close distances
I lobe this place its so beautiful kind of high on price but worth it. Customer service great.. Came here when my honey and i got engaged and for his birthday. There is awesome groupon deals. I really love this place jazz music i xant stop telling them about the Noe restaurant
I like this place.. pros.. little away from central LA (staple center) or LA Live but near LA LA Land stairway train (orange train).. good price.. cons.. little away from central LA (if you are going to the game or other stuff near by).. but overall very nice place
The inside is beautiful, good restaurants on 3rd level.
The food and the service were both excellent. We will definitely be back.
It was a nice hotel, but we didn't actually stay at it haha. We just used their shuttle to go to Anime Expo.
They were very concerned about making my stay enjoyable. Will be very happy to recommend.
Stopped in for drinks with friends. The staff was incredibly accommodating even generous. Great place to spend a few hours.
I went there on 2/11/16 for a lunch event. The buffet was satisfactory and the price was reasonable. I'd been eating lunch there a few times before. The experience had always been consistent.
This hotel is more like a contemporary art museum than a hotel! There are beautiful metal sculptures placed throughout the hotel, artfully placed paintings, objects of art and lamps placed on tables and sitting areas throughout. It is worth the time to just walk the hotel to discover them, and the most striking piece is "Yellow Fin" in the lobby. Take a glance at it from second floor -
It is conveniently located next to MOCA and The Broad museums, California Plaza (great fountain there!), a few blocks from Walt Disney Concert Hall, Pershing Square and other attractions in the area. There are casual dining restaurants and services not associated with hotel located on the second level patio, and several other restaurants and services across the street. If you feel adventurous, the subway and other public transportation is within few blocks.
The service here is excellent. Whatever you want within reason, all you have to do is ask. There are sweets at the check in desk (same as the selection for brunch at Grand Cafe). My last visit was the spa and pool day - they were happy to provide me with card key so that I could access areas otherwise restricted to guests not registered at hotel. (And the spa is by appointment only).
Must do here. If you are visiting on the weekend, the brunch at Grand Cafe is worth the time and money. All you can eat food and dessert, with endless mimosas. Nice views of the museums and attractions across the street from hotel. The other restaurant is Noe, which is a French-inspired menu, patio or inside dining. Generally closed during day, but you can get bar food at their lounge from the menu when Noe closed. Best time to dine here is at night - it is just magical all lit up, and if weather is good, great patio dining with views of skyscrapers of downtown.
Overall, a great place to stay and experience!
quiet , hotel staff polite and helpful; great location.
Great stay at the Omni.
Fantastic location and friendly service, made for a wonderful stay.
It would be helpful to know that they can arrange the Supershuttle for you in advance, as I didn't learn about it until the last minute.
Attended an event for a non-profit and it was lovely
Very clean resort, friendly staff and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Valet parking only which is far overpriced but at least they were quick with service. Right next door and easy walk to many great museums.
I went for Thanksgiving brunch buffet. It was excellent. All the food tasted very good. The whole group agreed that this was much better than cooking and cleaning. We will be back next year
Amazing experience! Great customer service! Worth every penny!
Lovely hotel with an outstanding staff. Everyone I encountered was terrific. And the room was nice with an wonderfully comfortable bed. Great location as well.
A mixed bag, but overall a disappointment. Room maintenance issues, poorly cleaned common areas, and excessive delays with check-in made for an underwhelming experience. Despite a great location and staff generally focused on good customer service, some glaring shortcomings negatively colored the stay.
Decent service, clean room. Great location. Somewhat close to subway station. Very close to the famous Grand Central food court with many many great food selection
Nice omnieonce and atmosphere, comfortable rooms, parking is valet only but expected being in the DT area.
Good rooms, everything is clean.great service. Need to pay for wifi rhough.
Great location in downtown LA. Service was great. We got a room "with a view", which was just OK - nothing to write home about. The extra features that came with a room on the top floor were worth it (IMO), which included access to a "club room" (I forget exactly what they called it) that served complimentary hot and cold breakfast, snacks throughout the day, and a happy hour in the evening with booze and appetizers
Nice hotel but needs attention to detail. Electrical outlets fitted into furniture very loose with terrible charging. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, so very hot, stinky, and humid.
