Nice room, nice breakfast service. Confusing way to get in if you come from anywhere but the front.
Nice room, nice breakfast service. Confusing way to get in if you come from anywhere but the front.
we were there for 5 days for our "American Trip". what can I say? I'm totally in love with the position of this hotel, it's close with all the main spot we would love to be, the staff are really friendly (every time we had a problem, they were there to solve it!), the car valet is a little bit more expensive (maybe a difference in price between guest and visitors would be really appreciated) but really useful.
I had an almost perfect experience. Early check-in was available at 10:30, the room was very comfortable, great food, and friendly and helpful staff.
Only attended buffet at Grand Cafe. There was much bacon and the usual. Also kimchee.
I love this hotel. .. excellent food, service and clean!...great location & happy employees! My favorite hotel in L.A.!
I had a wonderful stay at the Omni. Every single staff person that I came in contact with was just lovely. The fitness center was also better that I expected it to be, which was a nice surprise!
Very Nice hotel in the center of downtown Los Angeles. With lots of Close shop walking around.
I would say depending on the price skip it. If you are older than this pace will feel nice, but if you're younger you might want to skip it. The tv has your normal selections, but the Wi-Fi cost unnecessary amount of money. They of chrome cast on the TV, but it doesn't work. The bandwidth is restricted on their lower end Wi-Fi plan and does not work well with chrome cast. The service is okay, but they do offer already in room extras like soaps, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner, a sewing kit, shower cap and a few other minor things- the bathroom has a magnifying mirror or "makeup mirror". The room was spacious and felt clean. They give you enough pillows and sheets to be warm or the right temp.
My wife and I had dinner at Noe Restaurant and it was very delicious.
Wonderful! The amenities and service, all in all are spectacular! Highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in downtown Los Angeles!
I've been staying at the Omni for at least 5 years, and the rooms are always spotless, the beds are always super comfy, and the staff is exceptionally friendly.
Very nice Hotel...Extremely clean and the staff was professional and very polite.
Over priced restaurant with a good view. Food is neither a pro nor a con. Orange juice is $6 and not freshly juice , minute maid in disguise.
Living across the street from this gem of a hotel is a treat. When I have family from out of town it's where I asked them to stay and they always always are thrilled with the service and the rooms. Their branches are amazing the restaurant phenomenal and if you ever go to one of the concerts in the area having a drink at their bar is a must. Truly happy to have this hotel in my neighborhood.
I love the Omni!! Its the best in LA. Shout out to the parking staff and guys!! Thank you!
I have been in correspondence with the Omni for the past two weeks regarding a credit card hold that they put for a stay at the hotel on 1/24/19 to 1/26/19. The representatives at the hotel have stated that the hold will be released after five to seven business days (i.e., not including weekends). As of the time of this review, 2/10/19, the funds have not been released. I have called multiple times and written multiple emails to no avail. I will update this post based on how things turn out.
As far as the hotel itself goes: it is in a decent location with decent amenities. There is no real view of the Los Angeles skyline from most of the rooms because it is surrounded by skyscrapers. The interior is clean. Overall, a decent place.
However, I would recommend looking into other accommodations before booking here based on their accounting practices.
I've stayed at this hotel on many occasions. The staff is friendly and very helpful. What I really like is that they have a dedicated team of people specifically for litigation war room care. I am in the litigation support business and this is very nice to see.
The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because I don't think that the beds are very comfortable and many of the guest rooms have a funky locker room smell. Maybe I'm just sensitive to smells but a couple of my co-workers thought the same about their rooms.
Overall, a great hotel that is very well located downtown and very close to federal and state courthouses.
Such a nice place for events. I've been here several times for events. The location is great and the staff helps events to run smoothly. I also like all the historic sure that sounds the hotel, like Angels Flight, and the museum. All this combined makes the interior and exterior interesting, beautiful, and fun.
nice room ...but no option for self parking and charging 49/night for valet ridiculous. Also 10/day for internet is obsurd !!! Had I known this when booking thru other website , I would have gone somewhere else !
I had brunch at the Grand Cafe. The service was nice and the food was plentiful. I enjoyed being there with my friends.
This beautiful hotel is centrally located to everything in LA. I did not experience any traffic near the hotel all week. The valet service was very convenient and the guys were friendly. The staff at the front desk were attentive and pleasant. The only slight issue I had was with housekeeping. We were a family of 4 in the room. Two of the days we came back to limited towels in the bathroom. The first time was 2 washcloths and 2 towels, and the second time there weren't any washcloths at all. We called down, and each time extra towels were brought right up. That is my only complaint and it's minimal. The hotel was quiet and the pool was just right. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Los Angeles.
There isn't a lot going on around. They made a mistake with my room reservation. Service isn't that great, it is not sloppy, but not the greatest.
Great staff. Beautiful hotel. Great to have a separate shower and bath. Close to the Market and the Walt Disney concert hall.
nice venue for our work holiday party! I loved the table of desserts and food!
Very nice hotel, good staff, good food, updated and clean.
Great place! Stayed here for a family wedding, and it was very special.
The room was very nice. It had a beautiful outside my window. Once you exit the hotel, there's stairs immediately to Grand Central Market.
Amy was AMAZING!!! She helped us get around the whole city! But those maids were knocking on my door at 3 AM! Please educate your maids more but Amy was GREAT!!! Very good service!
Overall the hotel is conveniently located downtown for those who are traveling for work. The lobby is really nice, but the rest of the hotel is a bit dated from the bar/lounge to the rooms.
I stayed here on a weekday for a business trip and was disappointed with the cleanliness and how the room felt really outdated. In addition, my room was located above the lounge which played loud music until 2am, keeping me up all night. Overall, I doubt I would stay here again unless mandated through work.
Beautiful hotel, great location, and flavored water in the lobby. Parking is $$$, but it's dtla, so that's expected.
Great service, great staff, great hotel and great location!
Wonderfully accommodating staff. We were greated with friendly staff at both the front desk and the concierge desk. Our bell service man Eric offered us some greatly appreciated insider tips and advice for our stay. Great downtown LA ...
Good service. If you are driving the parking valet is $48.
Old and outdated. The first room they gave me had a huge rip in the carpet. The seem to be renovating floor by floor so perhaps it will improve. The pool was super neglected, sad and located next to the giant noisy air conditioning machinery.
Service was friendly and the food and drinks tasted very good.
Grand cafe - good brunch. Selection was good and food tasted good. A little pricey considering selection and quality but overall good experience.
Beautiful location and amenities for a personal development event.
Cleanliness of the bathroom was subpar. All other aspects of our stay were great.
Great location in close proximity to Grand Central Market and other downtown food options. Great views of the downtown skyline and California Plaza.
Great service, cleanliness, and amenities per standard at Omni properties.
If you want to get lost in LA when you leave your hotel
I really enjoyed my stay at the Omni in downtown LA. I was in Los Angeles attending a conference for several days, and looked forward to relaxing in my room after long hours at the conference each day. My room was beautiful, quiet, and very clean. And the bed was super comfortable. The staff were courteous, friendly, and very helpful. I had a chance to have dinner and breakfast there at two of the Omni restaurants, and both meals were wonderful. The food was delicious, the wait staff were attentive and friendly, and my food was served quickly, but without feeling rushed. I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again in the future.
Beautiful, classy, and with a touch of chic, this Omni will delight you and meet all of your needs! The beds are comfortable, there's coffee in the room, a gym, a spa, and the view is beautiful! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Everything about the hotel was great, except the internet/wireless. For two days, it kept dropping for hours at a time. Even a call to their technical support desk didn't resolve the issue.
Consequently, I was not able to do any work for the time I was there.
Everything else was great. The concierge desk went above and beyond to try to get me to an event. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were helpful.
Personnel was professional and courtesy. I will come back to host an event here due to the quality of the services received!
I really like walking around this hotel. It is located near the Broad Museum & the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Excellent service great food staff extremely hospitable and accomdating. I will definitely return.Thank you for your professional service.
Noe restaurant is absolutely wonderful! The service is great and the food is amazing! Will be back soon!
Clean, comfortable and friendly hotel, but somewhat expensive. Well located in the Downtown.
Very comfortable hotel in downtown, nice and spacious rooms
We had dinner at the NOE Restaurant after the Grand Performances concert at The California Plaza. That was simply the best filet mignon with asparagus I've ever had!
Comfortable but outdated. Excellent bed linens and towels, but very few outlets, for instance. Outlets that were integrated into furniture were loose and poor-performing. Friendly staff, though. Not sure I'd be happy to pay the full fee if I were on a personal trip, but it was perfectly suitable for business travel.
Cozy place to stay.. nice view from my room.. close to go to garden market where you can find any kind of food..
When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk clerk upgraded us. He was very pleasant and helpful. The next day theybooked us on a bus tour, last minute. The employee who helped us pick the tour was knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great time and a wonderful stay.
Its OK. I mean it looks nice but parking is horrible and theres nothing special about it really
Rooms are luxurious. Fitness center is well furnished.
Hotel was nice. Restaurants were very overpriced even for the area.
