Went to a Thanksgiving lunch, service and food was incredible, it was a great experience.
Went to a Thanksgiving lunch, service and food was incredible, it was a great experience.
Went to the breakfast buffet. The waffles were fantatic!
Excellent hotel, awesome staff, and overall great experience!
Clean, well furnished rooms. Friendly staff. Near a nice food court. Cookies at the check in desk
Upon arrival at the hotel you felt that the staff genuinely liked and wanted to provide you the best experience at their hotel. The accommodations were quite nice. The room was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, pillows perfect. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay here again when traveling to Los Angeles and will look for other Omni Hotels for future travel. First class accommodations and the staff was wonderful!
This hotel is barely needs to be down graded to 4 maybe 3 star. It has really gone down hill since my last say almost a decade ago.
The beds are in need of replacement and instead of two queen beds, you get full sized ones. 52 dollars required to use valet self parking is not optional.
We had to change room three times. The first smelled of cat urine, We went back down for a new room. The staff was rude. They didn t even offer to help with our luggage.
The new room also smelled like car urine!
The front desk girl was snarky WE have never allowed pets . A man behind the reception desk said WOW, it almost seems unbelievable.
Then the 3 room smellled like a dirty wet dog.
I asked for my money back. Id rather drive home. She said because you booked thru expedia snd already checked inwe can t refund your money. If you don t believe me ask them to show you the room you will check in.
It took what felt like hours to visit 4 rooms, the room we stayed was OK., but not four star worth.
We had to drag all our stuff back down then back up each time. It was embarrassing and the staff was super rude.
You can find a much better place to stay in LA.,
Wish I had.
This hotel sucks,
its not worth more then 99 s nite.
Happy Travels
Omni is my favorite hotel brand and I was very disappointed over my stay. Room was not properly cleaned from past guest, i got stebbed on this sharp pointy metal scrap that was on room floor near the table.
In bathroom, there was yellow watermarks and hairs, seems like some yellow liquid was there and dried. TV was too far from the bed, i have very good vision and I was not able to read TV guides from the bed. Very disappointed for this one of LA's Top Hotels.
Parking is not readily available but there are public paid parking for 9$. Valet is $10. Food was great and atmosphere wonderful. Good opportunity to take photos outside too!
We arrived before check in time for the AMA awards, everything was smooth the room size was decent and it also came with a nice view of the pool. Unfortunately the biggest downfall of this hotel is how thin the walls are. Guests in the rooms next to us kepted making loud noises...and they also kepted sending security to our room because we were too loud even though it was 4pm and we were having a conversation between 4 people. It practically it felt like we couldn't even shower without a noise complaint. Besides this, the hotel staff was nice and I would stay again but only if I rent out the surroundings rooms so people won't hear me doing simple tasks like unpacking.
Brunch, excellent sea food, sides Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes mediocre at best
Very elegant hotel lots of features you won't find at other hotels around the area.
The room had no fridge for water. Also there was no water in the room, we had to get our own.
The refused pickup at the opera, even though my husband is disabled. I had to be excessively strong, they lied and said the driver was gone, yet after 10 minutes of my insistence, the same driver showed up. The person on the phone lied.
The Noe food was average and pricy.
They refused us a cocktail in the bar at 9 pm. They thought our 2 cocktails and 2 glasses of wine over a 3.5 hour dinner was enough. We were not talking to anyone, just each other and enjoying a quiet conversation. We were not driving. So we went to our room. We are 71 years old, quiet people. This was a first for us both.
The room had a single sink. The bed was nice, the TV quite small, so we didn t use it.
Good service and nice kind workers. The rooms were nice and clean. Many people that were there too were happy with what was given.
I had a pleasant stay at the Omni, its downtown so within arms reach of various places.Rooms was clean and staff was very friendly.
Staff is great, rooms are clean and modern. All rooms have the ability to cast movies from your phone to the TV or login to any of your streaming services. It's one thing that sets this hotel above the rest
Excellent room however lack sauna and more channels on tv
Great for business travelers, for private traveling look somewhere else -- extra charge for almost everything, parking $40 per night!
Had a lot of technical problems with our room ex: shower did not get hot water and our door lock rejected three sets of keys throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and the lobby was great, the rooms were just okay.
Great location and friendly staff. Delicious Brunch and right next to California Plazza.
Facilities were fine. Photos of the pool area was very misleading. It s a pretty small swimming pool. Photo makes it appear like a large lap pool. Not so. Being a daily swimmer, was pretty disappointed.
The on-premises store closes at 8 pm. Which is pretty inconvenient.
There is one restaurant on premises, although plenty restaurants nearby which was quite helpful!
Hotel People were lovely.
Took a while to get a table at the restaurant but food and service was good.
If you want to go to pretend to be rich, go for it, but if you're a peasant and just want to escape peasant life for a night, go cheaper. Cheaper hotels are in walking distance to fast food and shops, free wifi, pool, and in most cases a refrigerator in the rooms. There really isn't much difference in bed at more expensive hotel. Is being on the 15th floor really worth it? Read their yelp reviews because you can tell who is rich and lives in an alternative universe vs the rest of us....
Very friendly and helpful. Nice place to stay. I would highly recommend it as the place is located close to most things in LA. Wonderful service and everyone is so nice and make you feel so welcome. I felt like a king staying here. Thanks see you next time.
convenient location near Fisherman's Wharf. valet parking is VERY expensive, and public spaces are available on both sides of the hotel.
Loved the hotel !! Great service. Great location downtown Los Angeles
Good place to stay near downtown, but not in the thick of it. Late night parking can be limited in the area so be prepared for an expensive valet
Loved our stay. We went to the theatre Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, so we decided to have a Staycation at the Omni. It is so convenient to the Broad museum, Disney Hall and the Center Theatre. The quiet entertainment and food at Noe's Bar was great. My husband had the Shrimp Quesadillas and I had the Noe Burger. Yum! After the theatre, we came back for the lemon pound cake for dessert. Extra Yum! We would definitely stay there again.
The food was tasty and delicious. The only complain I had was how long it took for all the food to come out. It was a 2 hour long dinner for a 3 course meal.
Nice place, clean rooms and good condition. Bit out of the way though
Overall recommended. Our room was very spacious, clean and chic. On the negative, the hotel does not offer free Wi-Fi, something to be expected as standard nowadays. The parking fees were also way too expensive, the hotel should offer discounted rates.
They messed up our reservation, and had to wait 1 hr to check in. Parking was redicurously expensive! 3 times more than if u were to park 2 block away
We had to be in town for a family member's funeral, and when the staff learned of the reason for our stay, they simply could not have been nicer. From the valet to the front desk to the bell man to the housekeeping services to the room service.
Beautiful hotel! The front desk was very accommodating to my needs. My room was beautiful, staff was friendly, room service was excellent! This hotel is in a Great location downtown with beautiful views. I'm definitely recommending this to others and will stay here in the future.
This hotel follows a proper protocol for the safety of their customers. From time to time, they cleaned the area and made sure that it was free from any unwanted odors. The whole area was very fascinating. I will definitely go back here! Thanks a lot
Reserved a 2 bed room, they gave us a 1 bed room and said that number of bed is a request not a guarantee. Most uncomfortable bed. Bed sags in the middle. Poor service. Staff doesn't even make an effort to accommodate. Will never return.
The steak was great as was the lamb chops. Bar was just ok.
Staff were welcoming, room was quite nice. But parking is $48/day. Spa was underwhelming...on the plus side, my better half said her facial was one of the best she had, on the minus side my massage was the worst I have had. Perhaps I should have provided more guidance than I did (preference for long strokes, as opposed to pressure point work using her thumbs), but I left the hour massage with a sore back (which was not the case when I arrived). Maybe I'm jaded by the great spa and massage I had next door to the Sheraton Kuaii several weeks ago, but this one was not worth the money. Ate breakfast at the Grand Cafe, Tess liked her pancakes with lemon zest, blueberries and maple syrup quite a bit, whereas my "juevos rancheros" were terrible, again the worst I've ever had. Bland pinto beans (with none of the advertised bacon), and no hint of heat, nary a chile to be seen. Order anything but this.
Easy check in, clean rooms, great amenities, very comfortable bed, large bathroom with a tub and a shower shower. Also the view from my room on the 17th floor is great.
Excellent facility but charged $150 when business trip ended early and therefore extended stay ended early. No class.
I stayed 2 nights in May. Excellent customer service from check in to checkout. The concierge was extremely helpful and friendly(female). I preferred ordering off the menu for breakfast rather than the buffet. I didn't think much of the buffet. Uber rides to nearby restaurants and conference center. Very quiet location.
The location of the Omni DTLA is excellent for concerts and art museums, all within walking distance.
Excellent and quick service, however, the room had a weird stench to it.
It's a beautiful hotel with lots of friendly staff eager to assist you in any way they can. I was visiting a friend and the parking situation was difficult.
Although not the new establishment like others in downtown, the Omni hotel all is classy and very well kept. The service is good and the rooms are well remodeled. The chairs are a bit old.
Very comfortable bed. High thread count sheets and down pillows. Spotlessly clean. Quiet and comfortable room.
The Manager was more than amazing, attentive & helpful, front desk staff were super, especially the staff, our suite was very clean & absolutely wonderful
It was beautiful, nice ambience. Would definitely go again.
Grabbed lunch in the Grand Cafe. Food was hot and came quickly. Would go back.
Really comfortable hotel conveniently located downtown near the convention center and great places to eat like the Grand Central Market. Valet parking was easy and the staff made the stay really great. I'll be back.
Amazing property! Central to everything. Excellent service, they sent us champagne and a cheese plate!
Ate at Noe, the food was fantastic! Service was a bit meh but did not damper from the experience.
Experience was great, food was great. The check took our waiter longer then expected (long enough to notice) but other then that all good.
Rude Parking Attendant's Please no yelling at consumers! If we knew where to go, we wouldn't have asked:(
I met up with friends for brunch in the grand cafe. It was a huge buffet and the food was good with bottomless mimosas included, win! The guy working the waffle station was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond in his customer service.
Id recommend brunch here for sure!
My stay at the Omni Hotel in Los Angeles was a great experience! The room and amenities were outstanding and the breakfast buffet was top notch. Mia made the stay very welcoming and accommodating. She went out of her way to help our time to be satisfying and memorable! I will definitely book another stay at the Omni next time I visit beautiful Los Angeles!
Stayed here for a couple days. Staff here are very friendly. They will be there for all your needs. Restaurant/bar service was great. One of the best customer service I've experienced.
it is so beutifal hotel you can have so much fun there with friends
We at at the Noe Resturant since we had a Groupon. Resturant opens at 5pm, but the lounge area was open for anyone to get a couple pre-dinner drinks. We got the Scallop Appetizer (comes with 3), the 14oz Rib-Eye (delish with mashed potatoes and vegetables), and banana bread pudding ( SO GOOD). Get the raspberry iced tea lemonade cocktail, its so smooth you can't even taste the alcohol! Service was great and atmosphere was beautiful (view of downtown LA during sunset). Definitely would come back again!
We went to the Noe Restaurant in the Omni Hotel and it was great. The service is nice and the food tastes delicious.
Nice atmosphere, good food, and good place for a nice date.
All of the staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond. Our day was absolutely awesome and everyone who everyone says that the place was absolutely beautiful. The food was also very delectable! Thank you so much for everything, we will be recommending you to others!
Friendliest staff ever!! They dropped us at the event in their Lincoln Navigator shuttle and even picked us up. We will be back.
The hotel was great, the staff were lovely and the location was very convenient. The staff was very helpful and very friendly and the food and drink was excellent.
Pretty good experience. Don't be afraid to state what you need and stick by it. Good room for the price. Staff always willing to assist.
Parking attendants and housekeeping staff are all very welcoming, however, the front desk staff is unfriendly, unknowledgeable, and need to brush up on their hospitality skills. The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly located for fun things to do in walking distance. Lastly, the food at their on-site restaurant, Noe, was great and I would go back to dine there. As far as the hotel goes, I think I'll try the Ritz Carlton Los Angeles next, since I tend to encounter exceptional service from all the Ritz Carlton's I have stayed at.
