Everyone is so pleasant. Rooms are immaculate and the location is awesome for shopping, entertainment and conventions
This is no ordinary hotel! The staff was able to help me surprise my wife to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. They decorated the bed with fresh rose petals in a heart shape, and my wife loved it so much! They also put candles everywhere to make our place more romantic, and the wine and food were amazing! I highly recommend this establishment!
Every one was nice and professional. The valet guys to the front desk. I will definitely recommend. Wear your mask!
I loved my 3 day stay at Omni. The staff were very nice and friendly. I ate at the restaurants every day since, the food was delicious. We usually stay at Mariott chain or Hilton chain, but after staying at Omni, I am hoping to only stay at Omni now on. Hoping to come back soon with my family!
Nice hotel with nice big rooms just the rub, we had booked and paid in advance so we thought we were ok, we arrived on site with our rental car, a valley proposes to park our car so we leave ... and leaving the hotel after 2 nights this service cost us $ 100 ... we were not warned so not top
Great breakfast, nice gym, very small pool.
room was a nice size, good tv, fridge, good size bed, nice size shower, etc. hotel was a little quirky. the bar downstairs was cool, so be sure to not miss the happy hour there
Great room, very clean with a great view (club room, 16th floor)
We stayed at the omni at la over the past weekend and I have to say it was one of if not the best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff and other guests were very nice and helpful. Will definitely go back and stay if I'm ever in town again.
An excellent hotel, bilingual employees, will be charged to your card until you leave the hotel. You have great downtown views.
Always a great brunch, great food and service. Service is very quick and they won't forget you. There is plenty of variety
Great place to stay if youre spending time with dtla, and near transit
Great restaurant
Food is delicious!
It was what you'd expect out of a hotel good price for the middle of Los angeles
I always stay here during my business trips to LA. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location above Grand Central Market!
Pleasantly surprised that although the hotel was close to the usual "old part of town", we felt comfortable walking around. Even walked to the Cathedral which is a landmark. Not many walkable restaurants but we had room service and the food was delish (albeit expensive of course). Disappointed that there was no refrigerator in the room as was indicated in reservation; we had to ask for one and they did bring one up quickly. The TV worked only part of the time; they did give us another remote but it worked only intermittently. (upon checkout, we were told that they plan to look at all the TVs in the hotel). The coffeemaker did not work on the second morning. We asked for repair and we were told they repaired it while we were out but it still did not work the next morning. Parking was expensive at $52 per day but valet service was excellent. Staff was pleasant and welcoming.
Beautiful hotel friendly staff very close to everything
Lobby is iconic if you've watched Bosch and you're literally steps away from Angel's Flight. It's also a quick walk to Grand Central Market and the Disney Concert Hall. Or you can take a 30 min casual stroll down to the Staples Center. Let's just say it's convenient. It's also located in an exceptionally hilly part of LA so take that into account.
Chilled water, desserts out for the grabbing and helpful front desk staff. All in all it's a good experience.
The pool is small and there's not a hot tub. Bummer.
Also: If you are in for a major event like the LA Marathon, you will be disappointed in the Omni as a partner hotel. They do not offer a late checkout, as is standard for race partner hotels.
I was a walk in and they made sure I had a room and set for the night even without a reservation.
Central location in Los Angeles, 10 minutes drive from Union Station. The California Plaza is just in front of the hotel, and there is a live concert at night, and the atmosphere is great! My husband and I stayed for one night in the standard room and used a meal in the hotel restaurant... great food and service. The standard rooms are exceptionally comfortable, large and thick beds, and there is plenty of room in the room and bathroom... it's easy to stay for a week! The helpful staff and the simple check-in and check-out, the Americans are also polite!
Heading back to Omni LA this week-best hotel in the City and the staff is fabulous ! Wouldn t stay anywhere else!
Senior western restaurant, but the chicken is a bit dry
Really very disappointed. Come on Omni! Everything is for sale. $7.50 bottle of water in the room. "Welcome!" mini bottle of wine (Woodbridge 12oz) $24. I don't mind paying, even paying $15 for a shot of whiskey (the price for Knobs Creek at the bar), but isn't it nice when you pay 250-300+ per night for a room when they leave a chocolate on your pillow and a bottle of water (on the house). To top the upselling nickle-and-diming-to-death off the internet costs $9.50 per day (unless you join their opt-in email - 'members's club'). Pathetic.
Look, the hotel is clean with friendly staff, and there is a nice bar. I don't mean to sound so down on the place. It's not terrible, but other places offer the simplest accommodations for their guests. It makes a world of difference.
Lovely dinner at Noe before seeing the LA Phil. Perfect location, valet parking and a delicious meal.
Great location, very clean and curious staff. Room service can be improved, we stayed for 6 nights and had to ask for coffee cups, water bottles, tissues all the time to get them. Why have complimentary coffee maker if you are not going to provide the water and cups for it!
Room service aside, I will definitely stay again at Omni and recommend to friends visiting LA downtown.
I won t ever never ever come back this restaurant.
DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY AND TIME.
Employee who got to take advantage of a great discount. But I wouldn't go again... The guy who checked me in wasnt very nice-wasnt rude but seemed like he was having a bad day. Woke up to sewer like black gunk in tub even tho we didn't use. Idk ...it was just ok.
I really loved the driveway. I drive for Lyft and Uber, so I see more hotel driveways than most people. It's very beautiful to look at and practical when driving into & out of.
Very nicely appointed hotel in a great central LA location.
The staff at this Hotel were the best! The service was impeccable! We could not be happier with this Hotel! Highly recommended if you are in town for a Dodger's game, They have a wonderful complimentary car service that will take you to Union Station to pick up a free shuttle bus to the stadium and the same complimentary car service will pick you up after the game at union Station.
A luxurious hotel with impeccable service, provide a means of transportation to discover the different parts of Los Angeles.
I visited the hotel for the Noe Restaurant. The vibe was really nice but there were a just bunch of loud drunken people there. Besides that the food was pretty good, along with the drinks.
Attended a conference for work room was fine but refreshments were subpar
Spotty customer service. Rooms werent ready, bad attempt at remedying situation..
The orange juice was also a limade and the buffet had poor selection
Fabulous location, clean, and Club level was well worth the cost.
We had an amazing, wonderful time. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and the room and the amenities were all top notch
* Booked on Omni site 3 nights at 9:15 PM
* Received no email confirmation after 30min.
* So booked 3 nights again and no email confirmation after 30 Min.
* I called reservation number at 12:10 AM and system was shut down
* Fianally received email confirmation 12:22 AM
* Called local LA Hotel next morning was told to call Omaha Res
* Omaha answered phone identifing themselves as Omni LA (confusing)
* Was put on hold/ Music loud and off the frequency (very annoying)
* After 7 attempts I was finally able to book 3 nights successfully
The hotel facilities are great. They had macarons and chocolate covered strawberries available at check-in. The food was good and the meeting rooms were nice as well. However, the overall layout of the hotel is so confusing. It's very hard to find your way around.
Even by Omni's high standards this is an excellent hotel, with luxurious rooms and a range of first class facilities. The bar and restaurant were a favorite of our's every night we stayed. Although parking is expensive, it includes in-and-out privileges (most lots in the area don't), and the location for downtown sites is hard to beat. It's hard to beat the Omni.
Other than the fact that our room, 1305, had bedbugs, this hotel is fine. I alerted the hotel to the problem and perhaps they have addressed it. UPDATE: Got a call next day from management assuring me that they checked the room and it doesn't have bedbugs. Hmmm, so the two dozen bites appearing in the morning behind my ears and along my neckline were what? My takeaway is that management is in denial and most importantly, doing nothing about it.
Thank you to the staff at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza for making our stay during this year s Anime Expo so incredibly pleasant! The room was perfect and the shuttle service truly appreciated! There is so much with in walking distance that I was able to stay busy while the boys were at the convention! The view we had was beautiful, the beds comfortable and the noise level next to nothing! Your gym was a great experience too ...and, a much needed retreat! I would like to also thank Chris V. For his kindness upon checkout and all of his assistance! We look forward to staying here in the years to come!
Decent hotel. Expensive food and not the best tasting. Food below in mall might have been better..
Very high quality and staff very friendly. Well worth staying in.
Hotel was very clean. Room was well cared for and Clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is good and has many options for dining and easy access to the convention and Staples centers.
$ 52 / night for flight parking, breakfast not included
Basic room for the price
I strongly advise against
Very, very, very bad customer service very rude stay away from this hotel we truly regret book this hotel what a nightmare very rude at customer service
I was staying at the hotel unexpectedly and the staff was very understanding and accommodating. Beautiful rooms.
Went to their buffet on third floor. The food was okay.
Nice hotel, great location for walking places downtown
Omni Hotel and Resorts hospitality is second to none...a place to be when visiting Los Angeles
This hotel is in a great location! The bathroom could use some updating and the bed was very uncomfortable.
I enjoyed my stay. The room had great views of the Mississippi river! The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was quiet and no external noise
The first room I was given smells like cannabis, but the second one was delightful. Parking is dear at $49/night, but you can avoid the $10/24h wifi fee. The real standout here is the fantastic staff.
Stayed for two days (March 2017 weekend). Room was Okay (noises from hallway, upstairs and next door neighbours). Everything else was not cheap; Wi-Fi $9 per day; $7 for a small bottle of water; $48 for one day valet parking (in and out) and traffic was bad around hotel areas.
Tiny market square connected to the 2nd and 3rd floors. Friendly staff, and valet (mandatory valet). There s a nice Starbucks only a walk away, astounding architecture and art displays. Also a little trolley with an orange castle building that takes you back to the ground. A bit interesting to see if you re into that sort of thing.
Nice, clean friendly, helpful staff. About a mile walk to shopping area...Zara, Target, Victoria Secret, Restaurants, etc.
My first time staying at the Omni and it was pretty amazing. Upon arrival the room was ready within a few minutes. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside I'd say was my lack of phone reception inside the room other than that an amazing stay
Nice hotel. We were there for a music festival. Rooms were adequate. Banquet halls were nicely decorated.
I was only there for a short period of time. However, what I saw was good enough for me to want to go back. Great decor. Great location. With many things to do around it. Also it looks and smells clean.
Clean rooms, great location and courteous staff made the stay worth it.
This time at noe wasn't as lavish as my first. We were sat outside, mind you it was freezing. We thought it ok because they had heat towers. Gas runs out and we have to waif for engineering. We must wait like this for 20 min at least before I have to go and ask if we could be moved two tables down, to the empty table with 2 heaters around it . Now the food is amazing. The customer service was a little slow, being outside was the culprit I figure. 4 stars were given based on what the service has been and the fact that the gas running out was not entirely there fault. Definitely coming back. It's a great place to go and spend a romantic dinner.
