We were evacuated due to the Woolsey Fire and we have no idea if our home is burned down, and Omni would not even give us an *one hour* late check-out to figure out where to go. We had no sleep and no information, and they would not give us a single hour - from 11 a.m. to noon.

And to reply to their absolutely ridiculous response below, they said I had to be out at 11 a.m. Check in isn't until 3 p.m. They could have give me *one extra hour* to find a place to go. It doesn't take 4 hours to clean a hotel room. Further proof of what a terribly-run, dishonest business it is.

Love this hotel. It's my go-to place downtown. Chill atmosphere and nice, spacious rooms. I love the outdoor spaces around it, too. Plus the convenience of visiting the Broad, MOCA, and the Phil just across the street.

Very nice hotel. The restaurant on the third floor is convenient if you don't want to waste time going out, but I wouldn't recommend it. Dined there twice and got stale chips, stale bread, and withered grapes.

We chose to stop here for we knew that this is one of the best hotels here. They have a delicious buffet breakfast (with bacon and eggs!), a rooftop pool, a sauna, and a gym. The location is PERFECT. Your stay here is not a problem for they also have complete facilities and accommodating staff members as well. Highly recommended!

We have been to this hotel on 3 occasion and it's always excellent service. Perfect place for a luxurious Romantic date and night & the restaurant inside called Noe is so delicious and in my opinion a 5 star restaurants with either a inside or outside view. Outside view in the night is perfect.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. They gave us connecting rooms without even being asked. I needed assistance with scanning and emailing some documents, and the front desk staff handled this task promptly and perfectly.

Recommended for traveling alone or for people who are not used to it.
The rooms are large and clean.
Lower Wi-Fi that paid for this era.

Faulty systems, poor front desk interface, old hotel

3 nights. Club Room. 6th Fl.

Family member and I were arriving in Los Angeles for stressful family business and wanted an amenities-filled hotel for our down time so we could relax and decompress. Online, this hotel looked like it would fit the bill.

The hotel itself, while clean, did not have the luxury feel that we were hoping for. No full time lounge, just a small bar open only in the evenings. A family member enjoyed their facial experience but the spa was just a side room off the gym, not quite what I was expecting. A sitting area on the 3rd floor was just standard hotel chairs and couches along a windowed hallway leading to a restaurant and snack shop. Adequate but average. Room was clean but cramped.

Their key card system malfunctioned 4 times over the course of 3 days, which required us to go to the front desk each time for a fix. Last lockout involved a family member not being allowed back in the room for hours due to her name not being on the room. Front desk gentleman, John, combative and argumentative and did not apologize for the inconvenience. Though other members of the staff were wonderful, this last experience was enough to disappoint us and we do not plan on returning to this hotel.

The Omni Hotel is wonderful. A lot of amenities, large rooms, great bathrooms. There's a couple of restaurants built into the hotel, and it is adjacent to a plaza that has tons of food options. The Disney Theater is connected as well, and the Philharmonic and art gallery are both one block up. The only negatives we had are that there are no refrigerators nor microwaves in your room, which doesn't help for a long stay. Otherwise, the hotel is very convenient and taken care of. Looking forward to our next visit!

A lovely hotel with friendly staff and in a great location. It does get very busy and therefore wait times for valet parking and assistance with luggage can be delayed for quite sometime. I was impressed by the manager who assisted me with getting luggage to my room ( he carried them by hand for me) when there were no carts available. He went over and above. Disappointed by the food during this stay however. It was not up to par.

Fabulous hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Service was exceptional. They have the most amazing concierge who helped plan out our 3 days in downtown LA. there are always chocolate covered strawberries on the front desk, cold fruit infused water, and apples available at anytime of day throughout the hotel. Rooms offer Keurig coffee machines, or you can go to the second level at Peet's Coffee, and catch a cafe-style brew free + no charge at any time. The gym is decent enough, and is attached to an outdoor pool with a few lounge chairs for Sun Tanning and towels readily available. More exceptional service included a free ride service anywhere from the hotel to 3 km distance. Make sure to provide a 30-minute waiting. To be able to use this free service. The driver will also give you their phone number, should you like a pickup and return to the hotel. Great way to save on taxis in Uber costs. Two streets away is the Grand Central Market. Not to be missed if you're a foodie!

It was the WORST hotel that I have ever stayed in!...

It was the WORST hotel that I have ever stayed in!!!! The attitude of the staff was HORRIBLE!!!!The staff was extremely RUDE!!!! He treats my friend and I like we were trash!!! (The way he talks to me sounded like I own him a million dollar. I don't know if there is any race issue...to make him treat me like that!) It was 12:00am, my friend and I was on the phone with speakers on. We were just talking with normal volume (phone on volume 2 only!!!). We didn't raise our voice or anything. Then, we receive a complain about the "noise" that we are making by two hotel staff. I know that they have a "night's rest policy" (googled it) about the noise. When the staff was talking to us, he sounds so angry. I apologized at first even though I didn't think I have disturbed any one because we wasn't being loud at all!!! The reason why I apologized is because it is the manner to treat other people!!!! The staff said:" you are being loud! I will stand in front of the door and if I hear any thing I will KICK YOU OUT!!!!!" (he points his index finger at me while he is talking to me) The other staff in black suit was standing behind him and he is so much calmer than the staff who was talking to me. I was like : huh....is that how this hotel train their staff to treat their guest?! What I want to say is IF I have done anything wrong, I am so sorry about it! However, the more important thing is that I treat him with manner and I expect he do the same. While he is accusing me with being loud at night, he was talking ( more like yelling, hurts my ears) even much louder than I was!!! So, IF my voice have disturbed other people, I don't think he is making anything better here!!!! Another thing is that I have read through most of the comments of this hotel by other guests, and I have found out a lot of complains about how bad was the staff treating other guests. Everything that the general manner said was they were truly sorry about the unpleasant experiences..... I mean, if they have found out their mistakes, please work on it and try to improve their imperfections instead of just saying sorry by words but not feeling sorry by heart. There is no meaning of shutting people up because they have negative comments toward the service, people will find out about it eventually, and when that happens, the reputation of the hotel is only going to be worst if they don't fix the problem! Once again, no matter if I was right or wrong I Apologized, and I apologize again here. At the same time, I think the hotel staff who talked to me owe me an apology as well for being so rude to me. I mean you don't normally talk to people like that (with that attitude!!!), at least show some respect like any human being would; I was being polite during the whole situation, so I feel like I should be treated the same. It is extremely rude to point at people, even my 4 years old cousin knows that let along being a well educated staff of a high quality hotel. He didn't even dress properly, he is wearing a white shirt but he did not wear his blazer ( isn't it all the hotel staff are required to wear proper suits? or is it just what I have seen since I was born.........). People did not pay this price for this kind of service here. I am really disappointed with this hotel's service, after all it is a 4.5 star hotel. I wish the person who is in charge of the staff training can know about this and try to make improvements to make this hotel better especially the ATTITUDE, if the staff is experiencing any unpleasant things in life please recommend them to see a psychiatrist or help them to control their emotions better. Is it ok to raise rage toward hotel guests as a hotel staff? Anyways, I really do not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay at Downtown LA until the service have been improved, there are a plenty of amazing hotels out there at this price range.
P.S. If my normal talking voice can create such a huge disturbance (everyone have said to me to talk louder because they can't hear me) , then the sound barrier material is garbage in this hotel.....

We had the greatest time in CA and was made perfect by staying here, Robert was extremely friendly and professional checking in was easy and fast, he was helpful in telling us which places to go to, he even treated us to a pizza on our last day there, we picked our room which comes with its own private parking and a complimentary breakfast which you can take to go if you're in a hurry. The place is surrounded by great restaurants and services.

The room was clean. However, the beds were too soft and pillows too firm. We woke uncomfortable each day with neckaches.

While they do provide a complimentary shuttle, there is only one for the hotel. We scheduled it to pick us up and waited more than twice the time we were quoted. The shuttle driver was pleasant though, and drove well.

Stayed at the Omni LA for two nights while attending a conference, it was a great decision, the hotel itself absolutely fabulous, clean, great rooms, comfy beds, The staff was very nice too, specially the ones thsg work at the restaurant and at the breakfast buffet, food was really good too. The location was perfect, the only bad thing is that we gave to pay for parking, but well i guess that is LA for you, definitely will be back to this hotel if I have to stay in LA again.
