Towels and sheets are very clean. The in-room kuerig and fridge were nice to have. The TV has Chromecast built in. That's where the room stopped being nice. Everything just feels old, dirty, and dated, like from the 80s. Old school touch tone kitchen phone in the batchroom with the charcoal colored push buttons and long twisty cord. Cheap, plastic fixtures that leak. The bathroom sink dripped all night; I couldn't get it to stop. The shower couldn't get full pressure because the tub spigot didn't completely turn off. So there was a sort of half-shower head, half-tub flow going in. Everything is caked in dust. Lamps, the vanity lights in the bathroom. The tub and some of the tiles in the shower are completely chipped and disgusting. They feel mostly clean. It just gives me pause. There's nothing in walking distance. Bed and pillow were clean and comfortable. That's the only reason why it's 4 stars, not 3. I would likely not stay again. There are plenty of hotels to choose from in the area.

The hotel itself is very nice. The prices for spa services and resturant is over priced. The parking garage is a little ghetto, needs painted and better signs. Never found an elevator. The rooms smell a little musty, but nicely decorated and roomy. We had a great view. My biggest complaint is there is no free wifi. Its a really big deal to me & for that, I will not be returning nor will I recommend.

I stay at this hotel at least once a month, normally it's a great stay. This time they had me in an odd room that connected to two others, this made for a lot of noise from both sides. Besides that a great stay.

Hotel and grounds has an intelligent charm, which can be a hard cube these days. The property is nestled next to a river, the rooms, gym and pool all over look it's beauty. The food is unique and delicious. Great property.

Stay here every month for 4 nites; so far they still don't pump toxic fragrance into the lobby (for that memory scent now rampantly used by high end hotels that ravages allergic sinuses). Recommend junior suite for a comfortable night & the spaghetti bolognese.

Definitely not a four star hotel! Extremely dated, the rooms come with an old locked refrigerator and we didn t dear ask for the key. The bathroom has an old soaking tub and a 1980s industrial dialpad phone hanging on the wall next to the toilet, no joke! Our room had this almost "sewer like" smell, I kept spraying Lysol and the smell was still lingering. Then I sprayed Febreze all over the bed linens and chairs. But the smell was still there, I walked outside our room and I could smell that same odor throughout the entire eleventh floor. However, I will say that the room is very spacious, which is a huge plus. The public areas of the hotel itself has been updated and the outside is absolutely beautiful, overlooking a river with a long walkway. Also, the staff was very nice, helpful and attentive, we appreciated that very much.

The thing keeping me from giving five stars is the shower experience. Lovely hotel and friendly staff. If showerhead was adjustable with different pressure settings, my stay would have been a 5

Friendly service all around. Clean. Great tasting but pricey food. Hotel is a bit dated in appearance ad awkwardly laid out. I d stay here again only if there weren t any better options. Omni points program is worthless. I d rather find an embassy suites.

I stayed here for a weekend escape. Was very pleased. Dinner was great as was the breakfast. Not the best cocktails but were good nonetheless. Room was definitely cozy and clean. Will continue using Omni hotels.

Once you go Omni, there is no going anywhere else. I've stayed at other Omni locations, but I have yet to stay here at this particular location. Even though I couldn't make it, they still went above and beyond to take care of me. Thank you Jeff (not sure what his position is) for being awesome at customer service, and giving me a reason to keep using Omni in the future.

Great location. Close to a great selection of restaurants as well as the Toyota Music Factory. The suites were beautiful and very well appointed. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay again.

The overall experience was excellent from the entrance to the room. The decoration and flower arrangement in the lobby was especially elegant and exquisite! I ll choose Omni again next time!

It's a nice hotel, but the wifi is the absolute worst. You're strong armed into joining their rewards program for complimentary wifi. The free WiFi in the lobby is terribly slow. If you're here for work, use the Red Lion down the road; or any other hotel for that matter (they'll all have better wifi then this place).

Stayed here for a night to surprise my husband for his birthday. We attended a concert at Toyota Music Factory nearby. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a king suite! The view of the water was amazing and the room was very nice. The bed was comfortable as well. We will definitely be back!

Awesome views and common areas. The room is below average , very old and classic style. A total lack of good taste. The bed requires a 3 separate ladder to climb on it, no USB connectors available, no free WiFi for guests. I was expecting a complimentary water bottle in the room. Even the streaming functionality was just having Chromecast, way behind other a lot more modest hotels with integrated streaming apps such as Netflix. I give 2 stars for the amazing views, but next time I will find another place. I prefer a higher price for the room, but not having to contract every single service afterwards.

The guys out front were very cordial and helpful. They answered all our questions and assisted us in getting around the town. The Omni experience was one I shall remember. I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

There was an issue with reservations even though it wasn't the hotels fault they still took ownership corrected the issue and upgraded the room as an apology. Otherwise the room and view was great and pool side room service was exceptional.

Our favorite get away property, staff always great, bellmen very attentive, pool area very nice and right on Lake Carolyn. Older property with excellent character, wish the spa was more reasonable. Nice views from every oversized room we've stayed in over last 12 years. The lobby live plants are amazing and so relaxing with the fountain.

The best Omni I've stayed at to date. We frequently stay at Omni hotels for business conferences but this was the first time at this location. I hope that the Austin and San Antonio Omni's will rise to this level of customer service next time we stay with them. Checking in, room service hotel restaurant all excellent. Rooms are very nice and Select member services were provided.

Omin Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas was wonderful. huge, quiet room. plenty of amenities, wireless was excellent.
hotel staff were friendly, service was warm and kind.
only complaint is that it's too far away from the nearest Starbucks! :)

the lake and canal system behind it and in which you can walk around and get lost in, is a wonderful non-advertised amenity that if you have a few extra minutes is wonderful to enjoy.

Parking is horrible, views will be good once construction finishes in a few years, walls are paper thin and hotel does nothing about other patrons making noise all night. So why four stars? Bc I got it on sale and paid about $100 for the stay. It's not worth more than that

Omni has the edge on impeccable customer service and you can tell by the upkeep of their properties that they listen to their guests. In Dallas, the Omni Mandalay is seated close to DFW airport in a quaint community, Las Colinas offering restaurants and night life close by.

Very, swanky and clean hotel! We had a king size bed room with a great view. Staff was very polite and helpful. Trevi's, the hotel restaurant, offered options for a buffet or traditional menu items for breakfast and lunch. We attended a wedding there as well and the room that the reception was held was not far from the lobby. Surprisingly, you couldn't hear any of the reception noise if you were standing in the lobby. Pretty good sound proofing. We will stay again if we're in Dallas again.

I am conflicted about writing a review because on the one hand I want to keep it a secret so I can get a room when I want at the costs they charge, but on the other hand they deserve the praise. I go here regularly for stay cations because there are no other hotels that come close in service, amenities or experience for the price. The balcony views are amazing, the prices are the lowest you'll find for comparable amenities for probably a hundred miles. I've stayed at all the other major Omni hotels in DFW and Austin area and this is by far the best one. Their room service is an experience in itself.

It's 2018 and as soon as you walk in you are transported back to 1980, this place needs huge improvements design, decor and facilities need a big update or risk to be left out with current modern trends.
