Good stay for one night. Housekeeping knocked at 9:30 am to ask when we were leaving. Checkout is at noon. We were a bit disappointed with that.

For a fake news hotel, it wasn't that bad of an experience. Close to Mercedes-Benz and nearby bars (check out STATS!). The rooms were clean but outdated for an OMNI. I liked having the food court on the bottom level. Wide selection to choose from. Friendly staff. Do not go to McCormick and Schmidt's. Worst restaurant I've ever been to. Don't believe me? Check yelp.

This Omni sits within the CNN center, and is a bit dated. Check in is in the second floor, where in the evenings it's very loud due to the bar/restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was very spacious, and had a private balcony. Oddly all the balconies face each other and are inside the building. In my room wallpaper was peeling, the AC vent in the ceiling looked dirty/moldy and was dripping moisture. Due to this the carpet below it was wet, which made me wonder what it looked like under the carpet. A bit disconcerting. Although the staff are great, this hotel needs a renovation. Hopefully the next time I stay there I'll have a more positive experience.

This hotel is the one to stay in if you are interested in anything around or near State Farm Arena or Centennial Park. Top quality hotel with superb service and a smiling staff!

We had a nice view from the hotel because we stayed on the 12th floor. Other than that, the hotel looked old, not very clean and average for the high rates they charge. Parking was an additional $60 a night including taxes.

Pros: A great location for the conference center, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable.
The room had very plain decor, wear and tear on furniture (a lot of scuffs and nicks, mismatched handles), iron with writing so faded you couldn't see the settings, rips on the carpet, a broken hot tub, less than optimal wifi services (I had to re-connect every day of my stay). For being considered an upscale hotel, it wasn't impressive at all. The massive size made catching an elevator a time consuming process.
My stay was fine but you could probably save and book a bit cheaper place with the same or better amenities.

Hotel is fabulous! Must have been renovated recently. The rooms are slightly small but Very clean! If you are unfamiliar with Atlanta finding the entrance is tricky ( it took us about 15 minutes driving around) Since it is attached to the CNN the food is plenty! DONT go to the Dunkin Donuts! (horrible!) Everyone at the hotel was friendly and we had a great room! The only downfall was that they only have feather pillows (unless requested) and it was too late to care by the time we got into bed.

An air conditioned oasis in the middle of a very hot summer city with an assorted set of eating options and the must do CNN Tour. Of course, on your exit, don't forget the mandatory gift shop.

Great location to enjoy Atlanta sports festivities and events. They go out of their way to make things special if they know you're celebrating something.
This is a perfect place for birthday parties, anniversary parties, weddings, conferences, expos and reunions.
Prime Meridian is always a treat and the panoramic views throughout the hotel are amazing.
Don't forget to stop in the coffee bar for their fresh giant cookies. You'll thank me later!

Room was outdated. No plug ins at bedside. Called front desk for a wake up call and no one answered, tried 3 times. Location and view was great. The employees were very polite and friendly. They just need to do a major update to get to the quality of room you would expect. We stayed in the South tower.
Service must be the only reason to achieve 4 diamo...
Service must be the only reason to achieve 4 diamond rating. I really think that s a mistake. Service was friendly from all staff. The negatives started with the call to reserve a room. We were told there was an indoor pool and hot tub. We called several hotels and this was the sole reason for booking this hotel as the weather was supposed to be bad. Got to the check in counter and discovered the pool was outdoors in the rain but we were already there. The reservation was under a wrong name so I m glad the staff took time to figure it out instead of me getting charged twice. I had to remind the lobby staff that our package included some drink vouchers at the hotel bar which we got at the end of the night to take to the room but they weren t drinkable. It quit raining later in the night so we decided to go ahead to the pool even though we knew we only had around 15 minutes before it closed but apparently the staff decided to close it 15 minutes early because nobody was out there as a staff member told us in the elevator. The indoor pool was the reason I didn t go to a Hilton group hotel as usual since that s the rewards program I stick to. That kind of shut down our night so we went to bed after we filled out our cards for the complimentary drinks in the morning which was a nice touch. My orange juice in the morning tasted like out of a carton from elementary school but it was free so like the bar drinks, understand that you get what you pay for. I guess the entire building was under renovations and the walls are paper thin. I could transcribe the words of the workers at 8 a.m. so don t plan on sleeping in. Room was overall dated. Didn t even have a plug in close enough to the bed to put my phone on the nightstand with a 6 cord.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Omni hotel-downtown Atlanta (CNN) and we enjoyed it. The staff was friendly including the Valet and the hotel room was very neat and clean. Great value for the price paid! We will return again in the future!

First they lost our bags from check in to the room. Ice machine not working on our floor. We had dinner and was so bad they offered us to return for breakfast. The 2 elevators not working and 1 escalator not working a mess getting in and out of the building. We have stayed there the last 2 years for the Accessory Market. We would have expected better from this upper end hotel. We wont be back there for the next one.

Parking is a nitemare. Whoever designed this hotel forgot that its the busiest area in Atlanta. Pick up and a drop off is tricky and chaotic. Get dropped blocks away snd walk if its not dark.
Its central though as its steps away from Statefarm arena, Mercedes Statium and Ga. World congress centre.
Atlanta downtown is mostly offices and goes dead after 5 pm. Buckhead and Midtown areas are recommended for staying if u wanna do stuff after work.

We love this hotel. It is right in the heart of downtown. The staff are all so friendly, professional and helpful. Rooms are nice and offer great views. Great food and if you are traveling with kids you can go to the CNN food court and have lots of choices for those picky eaters.

We were staying at The hotel for my husband's Christmas party. They had blocked off a whole section of rooms. At a discounted price. When calling to make the reservations we were informed that The Valley Park I would be covered by the company for the night of the party. Were also informs that we could do early check in online and be able to walk up and get our keys without waiting in line. When going to the hotel it was extremely busy because multiple things were going On around the hotel. We called to confirm that we were checked in and to see which tower the rooms were blocked off in period the staff member Explain that we work checked in even though I was reading to email saying you are a checked a in the hears your confirmation number please proceed to pick up your keys at the quay tower. I then asked her if she knew which rooms were blocked off for mcmaster Carr the South tower or the North tower cause we did not want to go to the wrong parking deck because it was so busy and so much traffic it would take us a long time to get to the next tower if we went to the wrong 1. She had no idea which tower we should be going to. Would my husband went to turn in to go to the North tower we were informed that we needed to turn around and go to the South tower by the valet parking. So we turned around and went to the South tower we called again to make sure that that's where we should be going and the next employee could also not find a reservation nor could she find the reservations of the Room blocks off for mcmaster Carr. I wit to the front desk and explain to them what happened they said well now all the rooms are booked where mcmaster Carr in the North tower. I showed him my email and he said he wasn't sure why it didn't go through. We did get a king size Room but away from all the other employees stain at the other tower. When arriving we noticed that the bathroom door would not close even with it lots. We had to call the Front desk in order for them to come and fix it. They said we could either get a new hotel Room but we would have to stand in line again to get new keys or they could send someone else up within an hour to fix it. They did fix it by the time we came back from the Christmas party. We didn't notice on our level that all the baseboards were chipping in there was white paint all over the carpet that would then come into the Room every time you open the Room. Also when checking out and calling for valet at 10:00 in the morning it took 30 minutes to get our car. We knew it was a busy So we did the express valet check out before we actually turned in our keys at the front desk and it still took 30 minutes from when we were sitting waiting in the lobby for our car. Over all up I wish it would have gone smoother the positive things I would say is the bed was really comfortable they did fix our problem with the bathroom door promptly and it was nice and quiet where we stayed. We were also charge for valet parking which we were told and shows on our reservation confirmation that it was going to be covered by big master car. Even after I spoke to the front desk and reservation person on the phone they still wound up charging us for the $45 for overnight stay. Somehow will have to get back our money if I can figure that out.

We had a pretty good experience as we always do when we visit here. My only complaint was there was a bottle cap in the room and stickers posted on the lamp when we arrived. They were also out of washcloths, so they asked my husband if we could use the hand towels instead. I know things are different since the pandemic, so we tried to be as understanding as possible.

My stay here was very a pleasant one. The staff were all courteous and helpful (from the front desk, to the banquet staff, security, A/V, and housekeeping). I have no complaints. The fitness center was clean and up to date. The main areas were elegant. The food was absolutely amazing. I was able to get to and from the CNN center rather quickly by taking the hotel's indoor pathway on M2 (which helped a ton, because it rained heavily all four days). There's not too much to do in the surrounding areas, so prepare to Uber/Lyft to local shopping centers etc., if you didn't rent a car. All in all, I'd definitely recommend the Omni Atlanta.
