Great airport so much better than Dubai Airport by far. The quality of the response from the staff for a start, the ease of which it flows. DXB is a constant building site of changing this and that. Oman Muscat Airport is much more of a relaxing & hospitable airport.

Clean airport. You will not see smiles from anyone. Very less restaurants/cafe where you can relax and eat as most of it are full and nowhere to sit. Hard to find comfortable seats.Most of the seats are hard and with weird shapes that you will not feel comfortable at all. Found myself walking for 30mins just to find a seat.My worst airport experience so far.
The infrastructure and facilities are well maintained and accessible yet the attitude of the staff os the reason why I'm giving only 2 stars. There are about 30 immigration counters for the passengers to access yet there are only 5-6 ROP staff at the counters which makes it a long wait especially when 100-200 people are always waiting in line for immigration. It is a big negative when there is good facilities yet the airport authority is not taking care of this issue.
Modern airport built to provide ultimate convenience and comfort to the passengers. I had a 6 hour transit here but used most of the time to take rest at the comfortable couches in the general transit are. Staff were cordial and helpful. Plenty of areas with option to charge your phone or laptop. The duty free shop is small compared to Dubai, but offers most of the stuff common to duty frees. The only downside is that I found some areas to be having really cold air conditioning.

Landed this morning in muscat from london .The machines for resident cards the finger prints never worked .We tried 5 times and finger print never worked .Finally had to go in the passport line .Very slow and no consideration by the officers where they are busy talking to their colleguea not realizing there is a long queqie and they need to speed it up .
The bathrooms were disgusting .If this is a new airport they will have to work very hard to make good impression.The staff should be more friendly and less racist.

Comfortable and convenient. Ever they have to maintain like this. People must give their full support to keep clean always.
I felt well cared for here. As soon as you looked for the way, was helped. At the exit there is a button system for evaluation.
Perhaps one of the best airports. Of the minuses, it s only that the departure gate on the departure board does not begin to show long before the departure (not familiar). In all other respects, only pluses. There are no large crowds of people (probably not considering the high passenger traffic), and therefore there is a lot of space, an atmosphere of calm reigns. Service at the airport at a high level.

One of the best airport's. Good placed everything.i loved duty-free shopping. Got Good experience while shopping. Can get liquor at good prices and can booz inside but it bit expensive. For alcohol lovers yes they can.

Operated to cater for special flights during the pandemic lockdown period so tourists and expats able to be repatriated.
One duty free counter and a food stall are the only business open inside the airport. Bring your own food if you're intended to go in the special flight during this period.

My first time on this airport. I arrived I think 1 month ago for a business trip. It was really fascinating. Everything was good but as I observed at the arrival immigration it really sucks. . . taking too much time. I give 5 star b'coz of a memorable experience, I lost my resdence card that day after passing through smartgate. At the baggage claim, a customer service guy wearing specs approached me with smile and helps me find my card. After an hour he was able to find it, I thanks him a lot and offer him 5 rials but he denied on it which is much cooler. Shukran! Jeyzee habibi if I remember it correctly.

It's new, it's modern, it's big but there's something off about this airport terminal. It's dark, it's chaotic and the transfer security area is always very busy, suffocating.

The newly built airport is elegant in its architect . Everything's updated technology .loved the airport . Just had a layover and was amazing with sleeping rooms . I would suggest taking a tour of airport it you have enough time for your next flight.

Muscat International Airport is one of the most beautiful modern airports and there is a hotel on the fifth floor near the flight halls and it features new rooms and there is a room for businessmen and can take a room inside the hall and a cinema room and a playstation and billiard room and a buffet open
A new modern airport competes with many of the neighboring international airports, the luxury arrangement and organization knowing that the airport has not been completed is still five years until it is fully delivered. However, it is a summit in the beauty and will not be the first and last experience, but I will repeat it, God willing.

Brand new airport! But from an operational perspective, more training is required for staff. Wait times for security/immigration ranged between 1 and 2 hours - plan ahead and arrive early.

Muskrat airport is in Oman , where almost all flights coming from middle East and Africa, take a stop and then fly to India.
Clean Airport, but very busy airport.
Not a lot to write about the airport except arrive a little early as the departure location can be a bit confusing on its location.
There is a newsagents (UK!) and a small duty free area with a few places to get last minute gifts but generally the airport is simple and functional.
Likely to change in the next few years though with the current expansion underway!

Muscat International Airport, the main airport in Oman. Everything is excellent except for the long delays in the arrival of bags.
Having a bad experience. I was much excited to visit the new terminal. We reached airport earlier to avoid last minute hustle. We are waiting in a place where there is no seating arrangements or convenient place to wait. I have done web check in . Though I'm waiting outside. The toilet and all other facilities are good.The board display is too small. If possible it can be changed.

The new Muscat Airport is beautiful with lots of shops , restaurant and their lounge are a beauty with excellent service. The immigration staff, the transfer ticketing staff, the security staff all are very nice and they treat everyone with respect and greet them with a smile. Its a real pleasure to pass through the wonderful Airport and surely Oman itself is a very friendly country with humble people . Have passed Muscat Airport few times and each time it was a real treat. Good Job by the management and I hope they maintain the high standard . The facility is very neat .
