Muscat International airport is very clean and peaceful airport I had visited,

This is indeed a modern and clean airport.Most of the staff are friendly.Washrooms too are fine. Though free wifi is available you have to be in a queue to obtain the password.That was the only drawback I noticed about this airport.

Been here once only on my flight to jeddah.It was a via flight.The Muscat airport is well managed and organised.Not one of the busiest airport but still its pretty decent.The staff is pretty cooperative and the duty free shops are decent time spender.Nice shops for food and beverages too. Couldn't see the whole of the airport but overall its quite an airport.

New terminal is very good.Decorations and facilities modern.Runway and taxiway surface and lighting perfect.

This is worst airport I have been. People been treated like animal. specially South Asian people. Oman Air staffs very rude and unprofessional dealing with customers. Ms. Noora Hamd supervisor Oman Air the worst customer service agent in the World. she deliberately offload us and we waited 2 days at airport. I will never fly again on Oman Air and will not come Oman again.

One of the best airport in middle East sometime I think it is better than DXB.

Good country if omani nationals also start to do work properly.

The airport is a mixture of great architecture and modern product designs. Everything in the airport is placed with great purpose of ensuring better and easier experience for its users. The airport provides great hospitality to its traveller. the entire airport ambience is in respect to a the theme of Oman hertiage and it's unique lifestyle. It's a real treat to our eye to visit the all new Oman international airport.

During my first visit it was as good as a bus stand, not lavish at all. Secondly when landed here I was amazed. Everything was transformed. "Chakachak". Had pleasant time during the layover. Wifi service provided with a very short hand. Different types of shops, food kiosks, etc. etc. But one thing didn't liked. I asked for a cup of copy which was costing less than 10 euro. I tendered 10 euro note, the guy told me that he will pay balance amount in dirhum. Then I said I got exact change of something 4 or 5 euro. He said they won't accept change. In short, he didn't want to give me a cup of coffee/tea. Disgusting !!! Rest washrooms were also very clean, hygienic and cleaning after every individual's visit. Overall good experience !!

Waaaw its Very nice beutefull and too big airport

you will find all the nassesary services for shopping or fresh drinks or if you need medication or cream you can get it in muscat pharmacy ,you will find the souvenir shops arownd the place .

Brand perfumes and bags and creams, toys shops and glosry supermarkets. It's very much well organized.

Prayer plases for men and womens very clean and comfortable .



You need comfortable walking shoes to cross the long way through the airport tell you finally arrives in the bording gate.

If you cant walk all that long way ... In the airport they provide fast service .. There is fast small cars for families and old people who can't walk or cant get in to there gate on time .

If you need any help .. just ask there is many employees in the airports service you are there to help you.

I love Muscat international airport. The restaurant are great . The food is flavourful and delicious. The people who work in the airport are professional and friendly. It quite funny how the whole time they are running and chasing lost tourists. I wish I had more time to stay but this 2 hours were very enjoyable . Thanks to all staff members and lovely people of Oman who work in the airport.

New airport is late

Newly constructed airport. Feel like royal. Good duty free shops for window shopping. Food court have many options. Salah rooms are very good and well maintained. Washrooms are too good as well. Do not exchange currency in airport. They charge more for exchange. I have exchanged currency of 200 riyals and got only 16 Omani rial instead of 20. Make sure you got Omani rials before you arrive at airport. Airport Staff is friendly.

The airport is very nice but very tired distance long when you get out of the plane to the place of receipt of bags and also there is no official or any person in case you need help or inquiry through my experience I needed someone to help me carry bags and did not find anyone unfortunately

Staff very helpfull

I just used the new airport for the first time & it's a far far cry from the terrible experience I had with the old one. All of the issues I had were solved. Now the airport is comfortable, big & fast on transactions. Now it has all the amenities that a traveller needs. Going around is easy with the proper direction signages. And I'll never forget to mention, it is now beautiful, just like the country of Oman. With more improvements it can compete as one of the world's best. One improvement I would suggest is to expand the Duty Free area. I looked for toys but the selection was very limited. More power to the people behind Oman Airports!

Very impressive place. The airport staffs are well behaved and very helpful. Very classy and perfect place for change over flights.

Truly world-class. Just that food court staff play music on speaker phones with no concern to other's privacy.

Excellent airport. Excellent logistics and made for passengers. For example, I parked the car on the 4th floor of the P1 car park and from there with the trolley I went to the boarding on the same floor. Great architect!

Especially to transit passengers.

Airport with potential but opened too soon I believe. Lack of retail/F&B, staff require more training, carpet used in the airbridge not practical if you re pulling a bag (too thick), 15min delay for the bridge to connect, also not sufficient lanes (other than for taxi s) for cars to pass through outside the terminal building, potentially a big traffic jam in the making, especially during high-season...hopefully majority teething issues but training and professionalism definitely in need.

For a new airport the design have a lot of flaws, starting from the roads to the departures the lanes are not clear also the street signs written in a very small and unclear font, getting inside and the boarding is fine then the pass to e-gates for immigration is not clear at all, reaching the duty free area which is very small and limited for an airport opened in 2018, the resting areas have very small but elegant design that don t fit the purpose recently they changed the lavish leather seats to regular steel benches .
Foodcourt is a joke!! Only McDonald s, KFC and one more options for fast food and around three more fancy extravagant restaurants which don t work for 99% of the airport passengers which are mostly labor workers or small employees!!!!
From the duty free areas to the gates again the signage is NOT clear especially the pointing arrows!!! Around the gates there s no enough coffee shops to relax and rest, the final Desaster is the toilets!!!! Not enough at all, very small and wet all the time, under maintained and some have no toilet paper and soap.
Arriving at the airport is fine the only complaint is the TAXI service there charge is extremely high 13 OR about 35 USD for 10 km trip!!! It s a rip off!! They say there s a bus service that gets you to most places for affordable price but i could not find it as there was no signs for it.

this is the most beautiful, luxurious, spatious, modern areoport of all time i can make the comparison with that of dubai and I found that muscatel is better there are even people in the toillette that give you handkerchief for the hand every detail is planned for the super client

These days, the airport is being expanded, enlarged and modernized and passenger capacity is increasing. The new airport expansion plan extends to 4 years to increase the capacity of the airport to 20 million passengers annually. The plan is already underway and is expected to be completed by the end of 2017. There is a plan to increase capacity to 48 million passengers in the long term. The name of the airport was changed from Seeb International Airport to Muscat International Airport on February 1, 2008.

The new Oman airport is being built at a cost of $ 4 billion on four floors and four runways. Inbound flights on the first floor and outbound flights on the fourth floor are accepted. In the other floors there is a foot court and so on. Beautiful, stylish and modern airport.

No wheel chair assistance at the airport entrance gate, had to finish check in with ticketing counter which took long & passenger had to walk all the way ...
