The service here is truly unique in it's friendliness and effectiveness. The resort location is nice enough, and the old buildings are charming in a historical LA kind of way. The food is top notch. And the price was an exceptional value midweek. We will return.

This place is beautiful! Very well maintained and the staff are friendly. There is golfing, tennis, and much much more. Nice restaurant that I went to with great service. I plan to come back here in the future. The only down side is the price.

Staff was nice and the grounds are really nice to ride a bike through. Very scenic and tranquil. The buildings are nicely done as well with a cool little "apothecary" on site. Great visit

It needs to improve a little more in the sense of cleanliness, but it is a very good place to spend the weekend

Beautiful venue. Good accommodation in a very relaxing resort. Spent 3 days for a seminar and all amenuities were great along with an impeccable service.

Wonderful resort. Beautiful views and great food at all their restaurants. Our room was very large and had it's own balcony. Lots to do at the resort and close by. The spa is an amazing experience.

This is the bees knees! They have everything there! Wonderful property with lots of land. A real Ojai gem. Very expensive, and worth it if that's what you are looking for. 5 star service. Although one of my bags was stolen from our green room when we were there for an event, which makes me sad.

Brunch all you can eat champagne buffet is delicious, and the view isn't too shabby either.

Need a quiet place to retreat and relax? There is nothing better than letting your creative battery recharge here.

Accommodations were fantastic. Service was superb. Amenities were awesome. And the view is not bad either! Cannot say one bad thing about the Ojai Valley Inn!

The room we had was very comfortable and roomy. The staff were all very welcoming. The Pub and the Oak Restaurant had very good food and provided a nice atmosphere for us and the others we were traveling with.

Ojai Valley Inn and spa was located in the beautiful hills of Ojai planted alongside the golf course. It had a wonderful view and a luxurious feel. The dining hall was beautifully decorated for the wedding we attended and the food was extraordinary. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. Although we didn't stay in the rooms we visited our friends in the room and wow was it cozy. We definitely recommend this place as a getaway for couples.

The greens are in really bad shape right now. But I m still giving five stars because the hospitality was outstanding and I m sure the greens will be back to excellent very soon.

Incredible property including the hotel, Spa, golf course, restaurants, fire pits, bars and much more. The rooms are excellent. Sign up for their emails to receive special deals, it's priced very high. However, the property is an experience in of itself. Golf carts and bikes are available to get around the property and to explore the many paths.

Note: this is a DOG FRIENDLY property. They will charge $150 to have your pet in the room, the they are also welcome throughout.

Great, but pricy restaurant options. The Oaks restaurant was excellent. Eat on the heated patio. Views are incredible from the deck of the (highest priced) Italian restaurant. Grab a seat at night at one of the fire pits in front of the pubb.

Parking is a challenge since they charge you for it on top of the serort fee and the valet took forever to get our car every time. Service throughout the resort is fantastic. While exploring the grounds, look for the aviary, lawn games, mini library/lounge, lantern oak tree and the many pools.

Great customer service and in room massage. Upgraded suite is worth it!

Spectacular location, well-kept rooms and exteriors of the resort ... All in "American" dimensions, including the golf course and the various pools

Amazing getaway in a quaint town. The Spanish Mediterranean architecture gives you a feel that you are in Europe vs. California. The views of the topatopa mountains are beautiful. They have free rental on bikes if you are staying on property. Also free rental on tennis racquets. The bike trail is easily accessible and allows you to go around town. The bike trails are nicely paved and safe from the main streets.

I had brunch at the Grill. It was excellent. Way more food than I could ever eat.

Attended a Beer Dinner with Topa Topa Brewing Co at The Oak. It was lovely and I throughly enjoyed myself. I definitely plan on going back

Because there is literally no better place in Ojai to spend the day at the pool in absolute heaven with the most delicious lavender lemonade (with vodka) after a luxurious spa treatment, followed by a perfect night's rest in their lovely rooms. Oh my Lord, this place is pretty close to heaven. The golf is tough but amazing and the 19th hole options are magic. Make it a habit. I know I will.

I ve been to the Ojai Valley Inn 3 times and it s among the best hospitality experiences I ve had. The location and estate are fantastic, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and everything is just made to make you feel rested and serene. Can t wait to go back

Lovely hotel but don't bother if you're bringing a camera with a detachable lens. Don't lots of guests travel with these cameras? I was pretty much stalked and shut down by security for taking photos of family. Hopefully they catch on that nice photos on Google will do them more good than their current policy trying to distinguish who is and who is not "approved" to take photos. I'd give it a 5 star if not for this ridiculous policy and the rude, presumptuous way it was carried out

One of the best hotel, spa and dining experiences I've ever had. The staff was next level in being customer focused. I hope I have the opportunity to come back because it was exceptional.

Stayed in the fireplace mini suite. Had a great experience. Top notch service. The food was all very tasty. Little hiccup with the wrong spa services being reserved for us when we called, but the staff handled it well. No complaints really.

This is a beautiful resort and a great place to spend the weekend. My wife and I looked into having our wedding here. The facilities and grounds are very well kept and they have a number of different restaurants to keep dining fun. The food at all the different locations is fantastic.

I have been lucky enough to have visited many 5 diamond resorts, and Ojai Valley Inn and Spa are up there with the best I have experienced. The grounds, the rooms, the beds, the decor, architecture, it's all top drawer. The staff are among the most helpful and sincerely positive that I have ever encountered. The natural ocean derived products used in their facials are simply amazing, and the food I simply think that this place is charmed. Thanks to all the fabulous staff, during every step of my stay there.

Awesome golf experience in the secluded California mountains. I cannot speak for the rooms or the restaurants, but everything golf related deserved 5 stars.

It's a beautiful location and property. The golf course is fabulous and so scenic and all the food and services have been top notch.

This place is magic!!!! It's an oasis of indulgence. I came for the first time for a fairytale wedding and it has left quite the impression. The rooms are amazing the grounds are to die for. Restaurants are too notch. The staff was insanely friendly.

I was at Ojai Valley Spa and Resort for Farmers annual Smart Choice Awards. Two nights. It was truly the most amazing resort I've ever been to. The surroundings are gorgeous. The resort, restaurants, bars, pools, amenities, the room... All incredible. But the staff. The staff is on a whole other level. Courteous, warm and joyful. Truly an amazing stay.

Dog friendly, birds in cage will bark back at your dogs, good food.

A wonderful property, amazing staff from the minute you call. Amy in reservations answered all my questions , helped plan a wonderful stay. Everyone from bell staff to Max at the front desk, housekeeping, Robert in the spa & restaurant staff. Everyone made us feel welcome and pampered.

Worst experience of my life. My husband hosted an executive retreat and we went with him. We left early in the morning to get back and he left later in the day. I left my wedding rings on the side table and called him and asked him to bring when he was coming home. He left the room for his meetings and upon returning found the room cleaned although he did not request and since he was checking out that night- makes no sense for it to be cleaned since it would have to be cleaned again when he checks out. When he returned my rings were gone. We immediately reported it as by process of elimination- it had to have been taken during the day. ojai investiagted ans said they do not track key card by cleaning person but by category. They then past us to their insurance company who after 4 weeks denied our claim saying it was my fault for leaving in the room. We had filed a police report the next day and indicated that we would not press charges if rings were returned. The claim was denied as they said we could not proved someone took my rings. In other words - I am lying and made it up. This ring was my wedding band which was diamond eternity band that I had planned to give to my daughter. I have been married for nearly 20 years. This ring was the one material possession I valued the most. I wish I had never come to this hotel and to then he kicked in the face and blamed for someone else taking us more than I can bear. If you got to this hotel- do not take any of your possessions and leave in the room. I have been treated as such and will tell everyone about my experience with this hotel

Average service, good food/beverage, and okay rooms. Definitely a place of nostalgia. The grounds are well manicured and the setting is beautiful. Everything else was fine, but not the wow factor we were seeking. Was really hoping for a true luxury experience. Does not compare to a typical Four Seasons, St Regis, or Ritz type property. Rooms could use some renovation and more thorough maintenance we had several issues (plumbing, electrical, etc) needing attention. Would possibly return, but need a much better rate/value.

Beautiful property. It was so relaxing there. Service was superb. The hotel gym is huge. I will definitely come back to visit in the summertime to enjoy the pool and spa.

I've been enjoying the Inn for years with not one problem except for Yesterday. I was there with a friend looking forward to their great Brunch and Beautiful grounds. Unfortunately this visit was so very disappointing as the choices we were given was Not exceptional. I started to eat the crab but the fish smell was over the top and the Shrimp had no flavor. They offered Lamb, Pork and Beef with not ONE side dish to make a complete meal. The potato salad was well let's say HORRIBLE and the Lobster salad was SO SALTY I had to push it away. So I went back again and again with no luck. This will be my last time I will pay $55.00 for this hodgepodge collection of food. At this price they could have at least offered Complementary Champagne but no unlimited for $15.00. TERRIBLE BRUNCH.

Ojai Valley Inn & Spa were wonderful, Dr. Potts treated all of his staff to a wonderful day of relaxation. I enjoyed my massage with Bethany and my facial that Brooke had done for me Ojai Valley Inn & Spa everyone was wonderful. Unfortunate I had an emergency situation where the front desk assisted me Malia is her name and she was very helpful and understanding... Thank you Malia for taking the time to help me out... Kudos to all of you @ Ojai Valley INN & Spa.

Great hotel, classic California. Been coming here for years, gets better with age. The fact they redid the pools and restaurants are a big plus. They also added Libbys - a much needed coffee place and gift shop.

I recently play golf at Ojai Valley Inn.
Very disappointed with the greens and fairways. I would recommend NOT to play there for the expensive rate that they are charging. If you do remember I warned you.

Have to say that the staff here is simply outstanding. From the valet who greets you when you arrive to the person who checked us in to the lovely young man who took our bags and gave us a golf shuttle ride to our room. Also the waitress and the bus people at the Oak restaurant couldn t have been more attentive and wonderful. It was my friends birthday and every single person saw that in the computer and greeted her with a happy birthday. Also we arrived in the room and there was a cute little cupcake with a note. I have to say that the service here is fantastic. Also I had to call the property before we arrived because I had broken my fibula. Every single person that I spoke to made sure that our room location was going to be perfect considering my injury. Also we asked for extra pillows to prop my foot with. Overall very excellent. Kudos to the manager!

The lunch buffet was great, and the view was awesome.

The property is very nice. All of the employees are incredibly helpful and attentive. We were here to have dinner at The Oak and we had some drinks at the bar next to it. If you have time I'd recommend coming and just looking around.

Definitely one of the best hotels and resorts in California and probably the country. Very charming southwestern feel that is incredibly comfortable throughout wether in the rooms or in any of the common areas. Several good restaurants, bicycles available, and of course the golf course is spectacular. Good spa. All this plus you can enjoy the eclectic hippie town of Ojai. Yes this is a Spiritual Vortex.

This place is ridiculously nice, the people and the area.

This place is indeed a great resort to escape the hustle and bustle of "city" life. Located off the main street of Ojai, but my goodness, they have ACRES of land!

A "guard" awaits you at the entrance to ask if you want to valet or self park. Self parking is limited, but not impossible, lots available in the far back. One of my favorite parts about this place is that you can pretty much hail down a golf cart for a ride to any where on the premise. I'm even guilty of hitching a ride down a small hill, which would've probably been a 3 minute walk.

Lots of pools to choose from for your swimming needs or just lounging on a chair. Waiters and waitresses available for your drink needs, not sure ordering food was available by the pool. At one point, got bored and rented lawn bowling equipment. That particular afternoon was quite busy as croquet was unavailable. California is in a severe drought, yet the grass is lusciously green here...

Casper the bird was interesting. Food options are limited and way over priced, but you're paying for convenience.

I tried to chase the "Pink Sunset," but didn't time it right. Also because I got lost of finding the "right side" of the premise.

Overall, I had a great experience and would love to come back again in the future!
