Ojai Valley Inn & Spa Review

Came to Ojai Valley Inn for drinks with my family and dog. Everyone was super friendly and the grounds are beautiful. Wonderful hotel to visit when in Ojai!

A great getaway for couples especially. Two fun restaurants on property and attentive service.

Excellent resort. Food is great, and excellent, friendly staff.

This was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. We spent the first two days of our honeymoon here, and then went on to stay at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara. The Ritz was nice, but we wished we would have spent the entirety of our trip here. The room, the staff, and the facilities were just wonderful. We will definitely be going back.

Great place to be extremely relaxing plenty to do has throwback type feel to it wonderful non pressed service . Beekeepers are fantastic knowledgeable and nicest guys you'll ever meet

We attended a macarons cooking class at The Farmhouse. It was the most fun I've had in a long time. It was super organized; everyone got their own work stations, complete with premeasured ingredients, candy apple red Kitchen Aid mixers and portable stove tops. Executive Chef Joel and Chef Jayson were great and they had many assistants to give individualized assistance if needed. The cooking facility is state of the art, clean and beautiful. And we made delicious macarons! We are already signed up for the Holiday Cookies class in December...Can't wait!

The BEST place to get away in Southern California.

We have been twice now. Both times we have brought out Husky and have stayed in the Fireplace Shangri-La Room.

I love how amazingly dog friendly this hotel is. We always have bowls with treats and water waiting in the room when we arrive. They have great poop/scoop bags if you've forgotten yours. They have acres of land to walk on and get your puppy tired. And, they have two different places where you can dine with your dog.

I love how relaxing the grounds are. There are three different pools, two of which don't allow children! (Score for those of us not so hip on kids.)

The spa is amazing. Annette gave me a wonderful massage. DO get the luxury pedicure. It will be the most relaxing pedicure you've ever had.

I've also had two facials there, again, amazing.

In March, I saw one of their spiritual healers and that was a cool thing to experience.

This time we also rented a cabana at the herb garden pool - that was really fun but not entirely needed unless you have a bigger family.

Before you book be sure to check out the deals and if there is a deal that you think is nice but not for the time you are arriving then call. They may be able to hook you up. Twice now I've gotten stay two nights and get the third night free.

Amazing experience, very laid back, plenty to do. All staff incredibly friendly. Wonderful weekend get away, just an hour north of LA and a stone's throw from Santa Barbara. Come up the 126 to the 150 and enjoy an equally wonderful drive.

Stunning, yet peaceful grounds. Food at The Oak restaurant is always a delight, and the service is perfect.

This place is AMAZING. I was gifted this trip through a non profit that grants wishes to cancer patients. I have wanted to come back here on another trip. I loved the energy and the view from my room. They have a large facility but it felt private. I didn t feel like everyone could see in each other s room like a lot of hotels. I highly recommend this place. The town is adorable too.

Although pricey, I had the best spa day pregnancy spa package.

Okay. For the price I expected much more. The beds were soft. The room service food had no flavor and was cold, and the tv was useless. There was no way to find out what was playing. Not much value for the money.

The reason i visited ojai valley inn and spa was for the golf course, while its a little pricey it was by far one of the best kept courses ive ever played. Golf carts had built in gps and touch screen to see an overview of the hole you were currently playing, awesome feature to see obstacles and distance from hole without a rangefinder. The service was great, everyone was very friendly and eager to help with anything you needed. Would definitely go back!

Wonderful relaxing place to stay. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. Very dog friendly.

My wife and I went to the restaurant for breakfast. The food was delicious, I had the eggs Benedict and she had French toast. The food was slow to come out but they brought us a bowl of fresh berries as compensation. Had a nice walk around the grounds after. The scenery is wonderful!

Great location in beautiful Ojai Valley. Super nice professional staff. Our room was great but unfortunately we had some rowdy teens staying above our room. Hotel staff took care of the situation as soon as we let them know. The only other complaint would be the noise from the spa pools and buildings. There is a pump house there that runs 24/7 and makes a noticeable amount of noise. Not an issue if you are not staying close to the spa but be forewarned if you are.

Stayed in Ojai Luxury room this time. The room is spacious and newly renovated. However, I do like the layout of the Ojai room better (the one without "luxury"), because it is more handy. For Sat and Sun, they only offer buffet style brunch. Although the vegetarian options are plenty, it may not worth the $55 price tag.

Beautiful setting, good food, clean well designed rooms and I could go on...

My family and I had a fantastic experience at the Ojai Valley Inn! The employees were very accomadating and the rooms were great. Nice pool and jacuzzi as well as free bikes to explore the town with. Would definitely recommend staying a few nights at this spot!!

Um, hello? One of the best places in the country...maybe the world?

Had a spa day, so I can only review the spa. The locker room was nice, the men's spa area was clean with plenty of towels and these lovely lavender scented towels on ice. There was a large hot tub, a small cool tub, steam room, sauna, and outdoor hot tub. The decor and vibe felt a little dated but it had a Mexico vibe to it. Upstairs is the co-ed waiting area. This was lovely with snacks and refreshing cucumber lemon water. There is an indoor and outdoor area with lots of different sitting options. The massage room was very lovely with warm comfortable tables and a nice fireplace. The attendants and therapists were very friendly and helpful!

Very clean facility. Signage could be better. Food could be better. Spa facility is excellent.

We a great place to stay ...lots of stuff to do . everything is walking distance..

So I was just passing through town, not staying at the hotel and this is the only reason I cannot give it 5 starts. Grounds are BEAUTIFUL! I took a long stroll through the property to get a latte at the onsite bakery. Quite a walk if you aren't staying on the premises but it was a great walk.

Absolutely beautiful everywhere on property. The staff is top notch and go above and beyond.

Terrific lunch at the Pub! Can't wait to return for a stay!

We had our wedding anniversary dinner at the restaurant, staff was extremely polite and courteous. They made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Would highly recommend

The Ojai Valley in a a beautiful resort. I went to play golf on this day. The Inn was blessed this day to have rain in the morning but stopping for our round of golf. The faiways were a bit beat due to the amount of rain in the past month but the overall conditions of the greens was wonderful. This is a historic golf course and the front nine is the best with elevated tees and greens.

Beautiful resort. Rode motorcycle up and just chilled for the day. Great hospitality.

Several great restaurants, golf, tennis ,kids pool & kids activities too.

A must visit when in ojai. Even if just for lunch.

My I friends and I love the Inn. I frequent it often to visit the restaurants, and just relax. The food is always sublime, and the service is exceptional. I've gotten to know most of the staff at The Oak and Jimmys Pub. Living in Ojai, going on property for dinner is sometimes a necessary escape as I usually don't run into any locals. Also a great spot for date night, or a Special occasion. Eating outside on a warm night is the best.! 5 Stars all the way around.

Amazing resort. Went there to relax and unwind and it met every expectation. Great golf course and restaurants. Didn t have to leave the resort at all. The staff was the best I ve ever experienced. Jen the waitress at the Oak restaurant went above and beyond in getting some sundries for my family since the resort store was closed. Pretty amazing customer service. Loved this place and highly recommend.

Love to visit, bike ride, swim and just drive up in the convertible to enjoy a day trip on the greens under a big oak tree laden with lanterns and music and food and wine and a nice brunch even.

I reviewed this before, but the review is missing.
I rated them higher because the staff at this restaurant amazing. Adrian was attentiv and helpful. Later they were apologetic and displeased.
My friend was served a baked potato that had been baked, sat all day, refrigerated, microwaved, and served. Tough skin and dark inside. The only excuse for Serving this is that the kitchen manager told them to not throw away food. There is no excuse for this.

My rating is lower now because my review was buried.

The people are so kind and think of all your little needs even making sure that you just have a bottle of water for your trip always efficient

This place is secluded and very nice for a weekend getaway. Food and staff is amazing.

Was fortunate enough to play 18 holes of golf here, the view was spectacular and the course was long and tough! A bit of intrigue (you'll have to go to experience it) and well worth the visit!

WOW this place is amazing. the staff goes above and beyond. the rooms are fantastic and there is plenty of things to do in the resort. we stayed for 3 nights and didn't even have to leave the resort to find what to do every day.

We have had a great trip, our suite is wonderful, the staff is so good it is almost uncomfortable how well they take care of everything you want. The pool is well kept and spacious, the grounds are beautiful, and everyone is friendly. The only thing is everything is extremely expensive in the resort.

Clean spacious rooms, quick shuttle service, great food! Stayed for 2 nights 3 days and loved the experience.

A best place to stay, very tidy and quiet, with great scenery, best reception and housekeeping service, will recommend to my friends.

We went to get ice cream from the little deli next to the golf course. It was $3.50 for a single scoop, but it was a MASSIVE scoop and really delicious. Well worth it.

World class service, beautiful sprawling property, and fabulous Spa.

Went for the day to play golf. Very good golf course. Not long but a great challenge. Staff was all very friendly.
