Beautiful grounds and well maintained. Nice spa facilities. Several restaurants on the grounds as well. something to do for everyone, although you'll get more out of this place is you play golf. There are a few local hikes that are very close to the resort. Ojai is a quaint little town good for R&R

If you just want to get away this is the place. Very peaceful and quiet especially at night.

Kudos to Zach at the resort's Spa ... he helped to put together a fabulous day of pampering for our team (from Pott's Dental). The day was spectacular (in spite of the unexpected rain!). The staff was wonderfully gracious and accommodating and the lavish treatments were amazing. Thank you so much for the taste of paradise!

Lived in Los Angeles all my life and been through Santa Barbara 100 Times but never have been to the Ojai Valley Inn.
It s the most beautiful resort of it s kind I have ever seen. Incredible views, beautiful grounds, sublime interior spaces and decor.
Golf course is stunning.

Fantastic resort and golf course. The only reason for the 4 stars is the price of food and drinks, which is unreasonably high even for a place like this. Staff is always very friendly, the course is always in great condition, and the grounds are well maintained.

The golf course is a fun track. Shorter holes on the front 9, longer (especially the par 3s) on the back. This rating is lower than it could be... Played it twice in August 2020, and the greens are in awful shape.

That said, service was very good. Good food in the restaurant I are at. Especially recommend the lobster nicoise salad. Can't speak to the accommodations.

Ojai Valley Inn is by far the best hotel anyone could want to go to. The staff, the food and the ambiance is outstanding. We cannot wait to return to Ojai in the very near future. It was our anniversary and Leila at the front desk along with the other staff members went above and beyond to get us a beautiful room overlooking the golf course. You just fall in love. The golf course is beautiful and very challenging. Even the staff at the golf course who knows us well went above and beyond for us.
Not much more that I could say other than if all hotels were run like Ojai you would want to go back to all of them.

Such an up-scale establishment. Attended for the AMDIS conference and everyone from the bellhops to front desk to bartenders are all amazingly friendly, accommodating and just wonderful. It has definitely earned it's reputation.

I was pleased with everything for my stay recently except for one concern.
This was in regards to the restaurant serving food cooked with canola oil. I thought everyone was now conscious of the harmful effects from cooking with canola oil. I did make my concerns known but to no avail.
For a future visit I would surely want to know that canola oil is not being used at all. Otherwise the quality of food was fabulous health wise but ruined by the canola oil

Had dinner and drinks last night at Jimmy's Pub at Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. Food was delicious. Brought us fresh cooked potatoe chips. Guacamole was good but love to see it made table side and a little chunkier. Drinks were fabulous I had there house lavendar lemonade cocktale and it was strong and refreshing. My friend had a specialty whiskey cocktail and said it was the best drink she had ever had. The fish tacos we're fresh and very tasty! Would definitely have them again. My friend had the pastrami sandwich and was very pleased and she is hard to please. The service was exceptional maybe a little overly attentive but better than not receiving any attention. Flies got a little bothersome at the end of the meal but you do not have to sit outside. We sat outside because we brought our dog. The inside looks very comfortable. The employees are definitely out to serve you. They seem to work well as a team. Lovely views right on the golf course. You do not have to be staying at the Inn to dine here at any of the restaurants. It is on the pricey side but Jimmy's is reasonable considering the service, tasty choices, view, cocktails made correctly and atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Pet friendly too!

Mediocre service...some were great i.e. Shay at the pool...they should have her teach others. Beer was hot so overpriced. In food options had burned toast and burned quesadilla. Food at restaurants was good but not better than community options. The young man renting bikes out needs some people skills and bikes need some maintenance. Our room never was cool enough...newly remodeled so hard to understand. So things were fine but not 5 star fine. They have some work to do to get me back!

Stayed here with my wife and was very impressed with the property. Sits on 220 acres with a golf course, fire pit area, shops and 24 hour room service. Plenty of spa options for anyone looking to relax. The room was amazing and included a fire place, plenty of lights, separate shower and tub. Another great thing is when you leave the property you have plenty of great craft breweries, wineries, coffee shops and places to visit downtown.
What really made this place amazing was the staff. From the time we got there until the time we left everyone was genuinely friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and stay here again.

Our company comes here once a year for a few days. The spa is amazing, specifically the Orange Blossom Honey Wrap. The staff is super friendly and very helpful if you get lost on the large property. The food is good but not great...could be because they had such large quantities. They were accommodating to specific dietary needs for those who needed gluten-free or vegan options. They make these chips that are a must-try! The whole property has so much character and history. It's beautiful! My room each time has been great. We even had a nice barbeque in some grassy area with games and drinks. A fellow named Matt Morgan (whom we unofficially named a drink after) made this amazingly tasty drink that had Chardonnay, Grenadine, and Sprite..all the ladies loved it. This is a spa resort, so expect to pay for the quality of care.

My husband surprised me for a romantic getaway. This resort is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to.

Our room was one of the sweets with a beautiful patio. The room was special. Everything was spotless. My husband hid many candles in his bag and made the room stunning in he evening.

We got the together massage on one of the days we were there. The massage room was very zen like. The masseuse did a great job. Very experienced.

Very very relaxing stay. I want to come back soon

I spent my first time in Ojai this past week and could not have chosen a better place to stay than at Ojai Valley Inn. From the minute we drove up to the entrance I knew it was going to be an incredible experience. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is beyond gracious, and the experience is one I will cherish. I live in Los Angeles so Ojai Valley Inn is not too far and will definitely be that place where I come to see quiet, get recharged and find inspiration. Thank you Ojai Valley Inn for such a wonderful experience. I will be back soon.

I have stayed here a few time's over the years.. This property is huge and yes the facility's is absolutely perfect for golfer's.! I have stayed in different suite's that require a valet, driven buggy to deliver you to your building. Never had room service ..just attended and stayed over for function's.. The rooms are big..and the bathrooms are very clean.. Never had a problem..it is very pricey but worth every penny.. I would recommend this oasis for anyone who wants to stay here for a vacation away from the big city..They even have their own spa and bath line (skin care) that you can buy own their personal website...

Went here with family during the spring. The grounds are beautiful and service was excellent. Loved riding bikes into town and coming back to the Inn at the end of the day for a drink to watch the sun go down over the mountains and the pink moment.

What a great location for a getaway. From the reception desk to groundskeeping staff to restaurant staff, everyone could not have been friendlier and more genuine. We were upgraded to a room with a view. Room was large, bed comfortable, bathroom a bit small, but everything was very clean. The patio was huge with loungers and a dining table. Complimentary bike rentals allowed us to ride into downtown Ojai. Breakfast at the Oak restaurant was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Multiple pools, plenty of seating at pools. If you need to go far you can get shuttled where you need to go in a cart. Plenty of places to take a nice walk on the grounds. A nice place to get away for the weekend with your sweetie. Also seems to be a popular place for weddings, and bachelorette parties.

Lovely property. Beautiful location for weekend getaways, special events. Very kid-friendly. Shares some things in common with La Quinta in Palm Springs, only nicer and more elegant. More specifically, there is a lot of attention to detail here. From the plantings and architectural details to the small amenities in the rooms, there is a higher degree of attention and labor and awareness here. Special note: their brunch buffet is perhaps the best I have ever had. And I am including a lot of five-star resorts in that critique. I am a 60 year old, fourth generation californian, and this property connects me to the best parts of old California like very few properties out there these days.

I went here for my husband's work in March of 2017 and it was magical. The rooms were beautiful. The grounds were impeccable (and large!). We loved borrowing bikes and cycling into town. The Ojai Valley sunset glow was magnificent and the adults only pool that I lounged at was fantastic!
