Initially, after reviewing the hospital's website, I was very impressed with all the services they provided. The reviews were mostly all good so when I decided to go down to their ER today, I assumed I was going to receive the help I needed. I left the hospital very discouraged and unimpressed.

It took a lot of courage for me to even get there since I was being seen for a socially awkward and very personal reason. The doctor did not seem interested in providing the care I needed of which I have been in great need. I was unable to ask most of the questions I had, which I tried to minimize due to how busy he was. One of the primary reasons I went there was to be pointed towards a primary care physician who may be more specialized toward my medical needs. When I asked how he could help me, he threw his hands in the air and told me to go online. I did attempt to find one online but was having difficulty, and a staff member of MountainStar informed me over the phone to go to the ER and they would help to point me in the right direction.

Overall, it was a big waste of time and a huge source of frustration. i will be going to IHC's McKay-Dee tomorrow where I hope to be treated better and get the help I need. And, yes, I have insurance. MountainStar got paid for their time.

I have always been treated well at Ogden Regional. The only complaint I have is their cafeteria. They close at 2:00pm. If you are there with a patient you're out of luck for dinner at night. There is a Subway, but I don't know their hours.

Easy and fast! From registration to the reception at the Women s center and mammogram I was back on my way in an hour. Lynne was terrific, she was caring and compassionate. Lynne called me a few days later to let me know there was an abnormality in my scan and I needed to come back for an ultrasound. Again I was treated well from the start, everyone was so nice and caring, the ultrasound showed just a cyst and I was on my way again, I ll be back to ORMC next year. Thank you all!

Been there twice both, times were horrible. 1st time Doctor yelled at my wife while she was under anesthesia her body was reacting to having probe shoved down throat and somehow it was her fault. 2nd time my son had stomach ache and they ordered $5k worth of tests, then wouldn't work with our insurance company and had to pay out pocket. Still getting bills because they made him (5 year old) responsible party for bills and now he had negative credit rating. Place is a joke.

The entire stay was very productive and my recovery has been good. The nursing staff was especially great Brittany, and Merrijane, I believe their names were were the best. Day time was especially good; one evening was not but I still met physical goals concerning oxygen etc..
The therapist were all great: breathing, occupational and physical. I would recommend your facility to anyone. I am now at home practicing many of things I was instructed while there.
The medical staff (DR's) were fantastic..

Labor and delivery was amazing! Nurses were very responsive and talked me through my options during the entire process. Rooms are giant and my husband and I quite enjoyed our complimentary celebration dinner after our son was born.
Highly recommend. If we have any more children I m going back for sure.

Called to schedule a procedure, and the ladies that work in that scheduling department are nothing but rude and nasty. They have absolutely no customer service skills, and I am appalled that when scheduling a procedure for a CHILD they were able to be as nasty and rude as they were.

I need to give credit where credit is due. I'm a disabled veteran and I fear the hospital. This review is of the labor and delivery. Long story short my wife and I we had a midwife for her pregnancy. Things went sideways, and was very stressful we needed to go to a hospital.

The nurses were amazing. They went above and beyond. The medical doctor who delivered the baby was amazing himself too. I'm sorry but I forgot his name, it has been a couple of years.

The only problems we had was at the beginning of the delivery they didn't have a copy for us of some legal paperwork I wanted, so I took a picture of it with my cellphone for reference. And, when we leaving someone refered to my son as a girl. Besides these small issues, they did a great job.

I had the meanest nurse ever. My arms are so bruised where she tried to put in the IV. She put in a catheter and a male nurse spread my legs with people in the room. It was totally unnecessary and extremely embarrassing. I realize she might have had a bad day, But she treated like an object. When all I needed was care and compassion.

This was a review for all the Ogden services/medical/DR centers/ All were A-1 and just great..

I was just there for total knee replacement and will say it was an A1 experience. The medical staff was just great all the way around and in everything they did and the atmosphere was totally professional without the heavieness and seriousness that some places walk in because they think humor and joy detracts from it somehow. It was just a great experience and think their kinfolk to Dr Halls medical office as its the same way, totally totally totally professional yet are able to enjoy themselves and the patient. I would highly reccomend this surgical hospital, Dr. Halls office and services and the Ogden regional center (where I did post op) for any medical services needed. All three were A1 professional in services and A1 in atmosphere.

I arrived at the Emergency Center in Pleasant View just after midnight. I was greeted and placed into a room. The nurse attended to me immediately, and told me the doctor was with another patient, but would be with me shortly, which he was. After a series of questions he told me where we were headed, and ordered the relevant tests, which were performed immediately on site. The tests confirmed his diagnosis. Soon I was off to a hospital for emergency surgery. Every member of the staff that helped me was professional, kind, and did their jobs well. I appreciate each of them very much. When you need these folks, it is a blessing to have them there, well-trained and well-equipped. Thanks to all of them.

Every time I come to ORMC, I am very impressed from the minute you walk in and greeted with volunteers that escort you to where you need to go. The knowledgeable staff always makes you feel like you are the only patient. Caring, conscientious and professional.

When I went into the ER there was a mistake made and I was given potassium straight into my veins. It should of been mixed with fluid. This was extremely painful for me. Because of that is why I am giving a 3 star rating.
Once I was in my room the doctors and nurses were very helpful and friendly.

I arrived early for my appointment and was taken in before my scheduled time! No waiting! Very professional and personal! It is also easy to find a close parking place in relationship to other medical facilities! Great place and our pharmacy is also located there as well!

Although the staff was very friendly and nice, the hospital and care were boarder line negligent and below acceptable standard. It was chaotic, unorganized, and unprofessional. Nursing staff forgot to put in IV's, give meds at correct time, take vitals when needed, and didn't check in on patient for hours. I had back surgery and couldn't move hardly at all. I laid for almost 4 hours trying to get someone's attention for help because a nurse had put my "Call" button remote on the other side of the room where I could not reach and the "Call" buttons on the bed did NOT work!!! Thank God I wasn't having a heart attack!! Also, there were several times that I witnessed nurses not following protocol. It is unnerving to feel that you know and understand correct protocols better than your nurse. It was just so sad to see such a vital, important profession so out of control. It is down right scary!! Especially when you are in need of good medical care.

I spent 2 weeks at ORMC in November 2016 and everyone was amazing. Recently I had an echocardiogram and it has taken over a week for the report to be dictated and get to my cardiologist, and my PCP still has not received it and it has not yet been uploaded to the patient portal. The Ultrasound tech at the heart center was great but trying to get results or reports from the portal has been a nightmare... my bills are already showing on the patient portal from that procedure though! I understand things get busy - but over a week and it s still not there? Can something be done about this?

This place is absolutely worthless. I visited the ER about 4 months ago for extreme abdominal/pelvic pain. We were in the waiting room for about 45 minutes before being seen (there were maybe 2 other people there). Then they did some blood tests and urine tests, and an ultrasound, told me there was nothing wrong with me and sent me home. I wasn't even ever seen by a real doctor, just nurses and a PA. When the PA finally came in, he patted my belly and told me it was probably just cramps. They were kind enough to give me some ibuprofen. I later went to the clinic at my work and found out I had an infection that could've easily been treated with antibiotics, had they actually decided to do their jobs and thoroughly treat me, instead of just cover my symptoms. I now owe over $1,800 for a trip to the ER, some ibuprofen, and a belly pat.

This was my first surgery and I found the staff very friendly, the nurses and surgeon explained what was going to happen and the surgery was quick and efficient. The pain management was excellent. This experience has been much better than expected.

Upon arrival I was aware that the hospital was out of network for my insurance there was a specific reason why we chose to go to Ogden Regional for my delivery my son was born there and I had a great experience we're at McKay I did not when I got there and was ready to check in I was informed that I had to pay $6,000 which was my deductible upfront which was failed to be mentioned to me the day before when we were getting ready for everything I told them I did not have $6,000 nor did I have $3,000 I had to pay $1,000 off of my credit card which was unexpected and I have never heard of a deductible being paid up front if we would have been informed of this the day before or sooner I probably would have had no choice but to go to a different hospital but the day that I checked in they told me that I had to pay something or basically they would turn me away and I wouldn't be able to deliver there besides that my experience with the nurses and everything else was fantastic but something about that out-of-network needs to be looked at or changed

I visit Dr. Fischer at the cancer center. I am always impressed with how kind and helpful everyone is, from those checking me in, to the nurse, the doctor and receptionist. I always feel like my care is important to them.

It was a great experience from the time I walked in the door. I was promptly greeted by a friendly staff member who got me set up to be registered. Registration was smooth and easy with a very friendly registration person. I was greeted cheerfully at the Women's Health Center and promptly taken in for my test. The technician doing the test was friendly and kind. It was great to be treated so well when you have to undergo something that is not the most pleasant thing.

Alana in the ER was awesome. She spent a couple hours patiently trying to clear my pic line so I would not have to have a new one put in. She was successful. Thanks Alana for great service .

The people are great but I was sent the wrong direction 3 times. I was sent in for 3 hour test and I spent most of the time trying to figure out where I was supposed to go. Over all disappointed with the communication.

Really bad experience at this place. Daughter went to the ER and the Doctor in charge of helping her treated her in a very discriminative way...sarcastic and diminishing. He should t be working there

Absolutely worst hospital I've ever been to...
gave birth to my son there 5 years ago and had a terrible experience. Extremely rude nurses, they didn't even wear gloves when giving me my IV so i ended up with a staff infection. After 20 hours of labor 4 failed epidurals and being accused of faking the pain! my son was born and sent to the NICU for evaluation and the nurse brought me a cart and told me to follow her to NICU! Mind you i just got done birthing my son and she made walk all the way there!! I was in so much pain and my feet swelled..

Needless to say i gave them another chance and when i was hit by a drunk driver in january 2017. i was sent to the hospital by ambulance because after the accident i was in exteme pain and couldn't walk.
They spent more time getting my insurance informatiom than they did treating me. My leg was badly messed up and and i couldn't walk...all they did was give me a pain med and handed me crutches and sent me on my way... They didn't even assist me on how to use the crutches for someone who has never used them before.. And my 5 year old son was in the car as well.. I had to demand they check him out!!
I will never go back!!!

This is the worst hospital I have ever worked with. They can never answer a simple question. I have been sifted and transferred to almost every department when I was just trying to confirm my son's surgeon. They are awful about working with you in billing and deliberately gave misleading information when I checked with them to see if they were in my network for my insurance. Now I am paying over $13,000 out of pocket for my son's birth and they are truly unfriendly and difficult to work with no matter the reason that I am calling or visiting.

Fortunately for me, I have not had to use your services until the past couple of weeks. I am extremely impressed with the service from checking in and the medical technicians who administered my ultra sounds.
Missy and Noelle wee awesome! Made me feel at ease and comfortable. Very professional, efficient and personable. Thank you very much for your commitment.and care.
Sincerely,
Karen Mohlin

I just got out of surgery and was in major pain. I have number of health issues. A nurse brought a cop to my room to confiscate my medications!! I was dumbfounded. I have meds that I have to take. Ling story short. A cop to my room!!

If you're in need of help, this is a great choice to go to. All the staff here are friendly and very competent. When I was in an accident, they were thorough in running scans to make sure I was in good health, and made me feel as comfortable as possible.

Overall, my experience with Ogden Regional was very good. The doctors and staff were very nice and accommodating. However, no one read the papers that were sent down with me from my local physician so I was given an MRI unnecessarily . All the information that they found out was already in the papers I brought with me. I had three procedures done and wonder why they didn't do just one with the same results. Never got an answer for my questions. But...other than what I've mentioned, care was awesome

I was totally impressed with how quick they were after going thru the Emergency door to getting me back into a room. It was only about 3 minutes & then they had a good staff of doctors & nurses that were very caring & diagnosed me quickly & got me under control & I was headed back home within 4 hours. I would recommend this Hospital to everyone.

I went here for an outpatient test. I was greeted at the door, handed off from one person to the next for forms, then they walked me to the next person, who walked me to the lab, who introduced me to the doctor, who did the procedure, and then walked me to the exit. WOW! The customer service is AWESOME! I never expected that with a hospital. Great job!

**THIS PROGRAM & IT'S STAFF SAVED MY LIFE!!** By the time I accepted I had a problem & decided I needed help, I was not willing to go just anywhere. I did tons of research. I'll be honest, This place was not my first choice, but it was "In Network" with my insurance, so once I confirmed that behavioral health & ACT were separate, I agreed to at least try it. This next part is extremely important..."THIS PROGRAM & IT'S STAFF SAVED MY LIFE!!" There is no other way to say it. 4 days in detox & 28 days in residential treatment. EVERYONE, & I mean everyone in this program from nurses, social workers, therapists, CNA's, all the way to management & administration were extremely helpful in my recovery. Don't get me wrong, there are rules & guidelines, you have to do the work & participate in order for this place to do you any good. They were long days, lot's of stress at home, lot's of groups & classes, even personality conflicts with other patients...But I will promise you, if you are looking for a place to get clean & teach you to stay clean, & you're willing to put forth even a little effort, this place can save your life, too. Thank you to everyone at ORMC ACT for saving my life.

The nurses and aids were caring and so helpful! The Social Worker was amazing! She helped me so very much! I felt like I d known her my whole life. I would not recommend Dr. Johnson, in Neurology, to anyone. He was close minded and cold and not willing to listen. He had his mind made up what my diagnosis was and was not willing to even discuss any other diagnosis that might be causing my problems. The food was awful!

Beware of Lynn the birthing center nurse. Visiting my sister and first nephew from 5 hours away. She kicked us out of the room to talk to her about her discharge class, then proceeded to tell us we had to leave. Asked her if we could have 10 minutes to say goodbye and she told us we only had 5. Was extremely impressed with the other staff, but Lynn ruined the experience.

I had a nuclear stress test in August, 2016 followed a couple of weeks later by an attempt at placing stints, but when they started the procedure it was determined that my blockage was too severe. The very next day the performed a triple by-pass. I couldn't ask for more caring nurses and doctors.

A year and a half later I began to have symptoms again so they had me back in for another stress test. It turned out to be a false alarm but again we were treated great.

The cafeteria is wonderful as well. They always have good food at reasonable prices.

The only complaint we have was the instructions for the stress test. When the medical personnel asked me about fasting and some other things that weren't covered in the patient instructions they said they would need to correct the e-mails and instructions.

I need everyone to pay very close attention please...

I need everyone to pay very close attention please i just called the drug detox center and was told that a person that has taken suboxone or methadone for over a year that is above 16mg a day can be detoxed in 72hrs Withdrawal free no pain and you know how they do it so fast they give you suboxone. Bahaha Look guy's patients are seeking life threatening help and these fools are lying giving false hope and charging 2400$ a pop without insurance of course. I am just fed up with the the BS hospital system we have in America and the taking advantage of people who are already down. ( Ill cure you. How? With the same medication you are already on.) Bduhh!

I was brought into the ER. I was told by my son that he felt like they really cared about me. He felt informed and that the staff was really professional. I am feeling much better now and grateful for all your help when I really needed it.

If I could have zero stars I would. I was sent here for an ultrasound on my leg because my surgeon was worried I may have a blood clot after my hip anthroscopy. The ultrasound technician Gina was so incredibly rude. I explained that I had just had surgery and was in a lot of pain, she forced my hip into a position that made it feel like the muscles and tendons were tearing away from each other. I was screaming and crying in pain begging her to stop and she YELLED at my mother and I that we were being difficult along with some other very condescending comments. I have never in my life met someone completely lacking basic human compassion.

I was extremely happy with the Mammogram Department. However, I had called in for the appointment and pre-registered. When I arrived I had to use the iPad and give all the information I had already given. Then they took me back with a lady and she completely asked the exact questions again. Ridiculous system. This should be re-evaluated. It is stupid, wast of time and serves no purpose in the process to repeat and wait and repeat

Registration person flipped out over my daughter's...

Registration person flipped out over my daughter's service dog and refused to have anything to do with her. The n she said she couldn't find her orders which the women's center attached to the hospital easily found. Was she denying my daughter service because she was disabled? Or was she just so stressed she couldn't perform her job? Either way, that person needs to be reassigned. My daughter is embarrassed and devastated. This person should not be working at a hospital. This is not just a one off thing. It's been this way for many years. I only go there because of my insurance.
Update 10/19/20 I did talk with Alan. He listened very well and said he had already been aware of the issue from another employee I had spoken with. For confidentiality reasons, he can't discuss what has been done to resolve this issue and I understand that. However, after looking at the most recent reviews and the difficulty I had with post nursing at my daughter's surgery on 9/23/20, there appears to do a very systemic issue with employee training in following doctor orders, learning how to access orders, behaviors and attitudes towards disabled people/service dogs and discussing disabled people within other patient's hearing. Those are serious violations that would result in dings during an audit from medicare and the state.

I want to thank Dr Zink (heart surgeon) and his staff for the care provided. I very much appreciate the regular follow up after surgery from his nurse Karen and also the after surgery care provided by the Ogden Regional nursing staff for their caring professionalism. I felt their genuine concern and care and am very grateful to all.

Dr Robert Mohr and Staff are the best. The problem I went in with, Dr Mohr diagnosed correctly and was able to fix it for me. All the Staff shows concern and cares about me as a person, not just as a Patient. So glad I found them.

I spent five days here after surgery. My night nurse was great except for the last night when he forgot my meds on time (two hours late). Otherwise daytime nurses ignored me a good chunk of the time. I didn t get water most of my visit-not until the last day. Nurses didn t want to flip me every hour when I asked them to (surgery on the occipital bone) even though my back and head were at level 8 with valium and Percocet. It was a good thing my husband stayed most of the time to help advocate (and turn me) because it was miserable. I didn t have great experiences when I had 2/6 of my children there but I was still hoping for a better experience as a longer in patient patient. Disappointing to say the least. I didn t have a choice for in network hospitals, but if you do go elsewhere. Even my one day in ICU nurses were loud and the alarm kept going off and I learned (while in excruciating pain and barfing) that a patient had passed away. Zero privacy for the person who didn t make it. This just added to the depressive state of this hospital.

First time here, moved from Colorado to Utah and I have to say the patient care and service was really great compared to my last clinic. Getting feedback from my Dr and the nurse who checked me before seeing the Dr was also great, I don t think I ever received feedback from his good my blood pressure was or I wasn t the one who had to tell the Dr about getting my blood drawn to check all my levels of calcium etc. All I gotta say is Dr. Rivera does rake care of you and it shows.

The only draw back to coming to Ogden Regional is the registration process. Why have a person call to preregister then have them use the iPad and then have them wait so long to see a person to finish the process. BIG waste of time. The iPad process could be completed while with ice registrar if a person has Pre registered. The procedure I was scheduled for went well and everyone in that department was very kind, helpful and professional.
