Absolutely loved labor and delivery at Ogden regional! Not only was the staff so nice and careful, you actually felt like they liked their jobs and get to know you and your baby! Their patient and answer all your questions! They didn t bother us as often and try to let mom sleep! We loved not having to change rooms after delivery! The food actually was decent and the staff was so thoughtful! Our first baby was delivered at a different hospital, and after our experience we d absolutely choose Ogden regional first!

I had a baby a couple years ago here at the age of 25 and they were being very rude and telling me that I was to young and should not have a baby this young. I thought they would have changed how they treat people but I guess not. Today my friend is supposed to have her baby. She has a high blood pressure, she's feeling dizzy, and is feeling sick. With the nurses knowing this they have cancelled her having a the baby 5 times today. She was supposed to be at the hospital at 8:30am it is about 7pm now. And when she was on the phone with the nurses they were disrespectful. I do not reccomend going here. I have had bad experiences every single time I have been here.
I had my second hip replacement at Ogden Regional. The overnight nurse was awesome and very attentive. The day shift nurse was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated both of them making me feel comfortable and being willing to follow up.
All of your staff, from doctors to house keeping were AWESOME. Made my stay after surgery great, they made sure to keep my pain level under control. THANKS
The drug rehab program is an absolute joke. DO NOT GO THERE!! First off, they made us make an appointment, which was at 11, then we waited in the lobby for 3 hours and had to keep harassing the nurses before they finally admitted my mom. All while she was having severe withdrawals. They told us she would be there for a minimum of 3 days to detox but after the first night she promised the doctor she would attend the day program and he let her leave!
So if you want your loved ones to rack up a doctor bill only to be prematurely released without any real help then take them to this dumpster program.
We have only been in Utah 1 day and wished we had stayed in Missouri. Our ER experience so far here has been a joke. We were under the understanding that if a person has chest pains they are to be taken back right away, not wait in the waiting room over an hour. They asked very little questions and went staight for the symptoms not what caused the symptoms or what the problem is. We came in due to a vomit that had blood and clots with chest pains. The doctor listened to his heart and ordered anti-nausa medication with an IV. He never listened to the lungs, looked at the throat (even for blood),never felt the throat, no chest x-ray, no chest and abdominal ultrasound, not even put on a EKG machine to check the heart. I can honestly say that this will be a memorable 1st day in Utah and we will never come back to this hospital again. It is sad when a hospital, staff and administration care more about cattle calling the patients and getting the insurance money then taking care of their patients.
I absolutely loved being here having my delivery and recovery all in the same room was nice. My nurse checked on me every half hour during my labor. It was honestly the nicest birth I have given.
I was recently seen for screening mammogram. I found the facility to be very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. If your insurance covers them, I definitely recommend them!
Had an excellent experience having surgery at Ogden Regional. The staff and nurses where very kind, empathetic, and attentive. They were efficient in taking care of me, I felt like they cared for my comfort and recovery. And they all had a smile for me. the facilities were clean, and stocked with everything I would need.
I was there yesterday for a stress test for my heart. The nurses were wonderful. The only bad part of my experience was as two nurses were finishing up my treadmill part of the test, a doctor came in (I don't know his name, he looked middle eastern, his picture is not in the directory of cardiologists) and wanted to talk to them right them. One went out into the hall and he started chewing her out. The other nurse shut the door so we wouldn't have to hear him. As she was directing us out to go to radiology he saw her and wanted to talk to her right then. Another nurse stepped in and showed us the way.
We felt this doctor was very unprofessional and very disrespectful not only to the nurses but to us as patients went I was in the middle of a test. If I end up needing to see a cardiologist I will not see him. I only went to this hospital because my primary care doctor from Garland thought it would be better than Logan.
Four star because everyone was professional even the people in the cafeteria other than this one doctor who I would never go to.
Went to this location when my wife manifest symptoms which included chest pains. The staff immediately put us in a room and started testing and taking vital signs. The care was fast, efficient and productive. The whole staff is to be commended for their friendly and helpful attitudes.
I had my first baby here. The staff was amazing and my nurses truly made me feel comfortable! Beck was amazing through my whole experience, I thank you so much.
As a few of the reviews stated / my pre admin was cold and not done very well / first the admin did just what others said gave me an iPad and left. Maybe I had questions! All other check in nurses were excellent and shouldn t receive anything but 5 stars. Morning of hip replacement surgery couldn t have been better. The staff was very helpful answering any questions I. They made me feel comfortable with what I was about to go through left hip replacement for that thank them all. Next all nurses and all involved with my surgery were the best again thank you all. My physical therapist was awesome thank him. Last my surgeon was the best Dr Rocco thank you. I ll be back for round two right hip replacement in a month.
One has to understand, when you go to a hospital by ambulance there is something seriously wrong with you. I had food poisoning. At Ogden Regional these are the Heros we hear so much about. The First Responders. From Dr. Humphreys to the ER Nurses...competent, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. This is what saves lives. These are the medical professionals you want on your team. FIVE STARS!
Horrible go to Davis or Die is my choice this hospital violates your rights the nurses in labor and delivery are nothing but rude nasty women my wife and I delived a baby here and the minute we walked in all I heard was complaining about how they had been on their feet all day delivering babies and physicans this and that is this not your job this is what you chose to do having a baby should be a wonderful time in a families life not here they made it misrable not to mention my wife was nauseous and they gave her zofran which I thought was recalled And not prescribed to women cause it causes cleff pallets that's why there prescribed phenagren im not a doctor and I know this trust me I for one have contacted my attorney this hospital is one of the worst hospitals I have ever been to. And pls I will not be contacting anyone who works at this hospital so don't post an email or phone number your wasting your time!!!
If I could give this hospital 10 stars I would. I had brought my mum to IHC Layton parkway ER Aug 27th with severe abdominal pain and throwing up. They did all sorts of tests and couldn t find anything so sent her home after 4 hours saying it was probably a ulcer well she progressively got worse and started throwing up coffee grind/blood so I brought my mum in Aug 29th To the Ogden regional ER. The nurses and drs We re fantastic !!! They were so gentle and caring. They did a lot of tests on her and the ct scan showed a inflamed gallbladder so the surgeon came in Dr Jordan who to me is a angel without wings and he spoke with my mum That she needed emergency gallbladder surgery. They rushed her right back to the operating room. They discovered once she was in surgery that her gallbladder was completely rotten. The surgery was performed and was sent straight to ICU after due to her levels that weren t doing so good. She was taken care of by two fantastic nurses. One nurse was Addie pippin who was the most gentle and knowledgable nurse I have ever meet. Dr Jordan the surgeon comes in everyday to check up on my mum. She has since been moved out of ICU and been taken to intermediate care. She is progressively getting better due to the care of all the wonderful nurses and drs of this hospital I am truly so grateful. If it wasn t for them picking up what the problem was she would of not made it. I can t thank this hospital enough. If you have a loved one in need of care I highly recommend this hospital !! They saved my mums life. Thanks Katie
I have had two inductions and one spontaneous labor and I have had three babies in three different states and this hospital is by far the best and most amazing experience I have ever had for the birth of my children, My nurses were a dream to deliver with! My doctor ( Alex Larson MD) was the most down to earth and gentle person to deliver my baby. The room was clean, my labor wasn't rushed on any terms but my own body's. I can't say enough positive things about this hospital and the staff. I delivered 3/29/18. Best choice ever.
I had the most wonderful experience here.. usually o leave the ER and still have questions.. but tonight was different.. Dr. Anderegg and the RN Valentina were absolutely perfect and nice. They both deserve awards for the amazing bedside manner and care they gave my back while I was in the hospital.
I am not able to set up monthly payment plans because my bills were not under a certain amount. I am a 20 year old working 2 jobs and going to school. They stuck me with a high amount bill and expected me to pay it without payment plan and have sent me to an agency when I ve tried to set up plans and pay what I could with hard times. I am no longer seeking medical treatment because it is too expensive and they are not willing to do payment plans.
There is a short, tan, dark-haired man working in ICU that is AWFUL! If he cannot communicate to family members of patients with dignity and respect then perhaps he should find another job. I pray no other family or patient gets the awful treatment he unnecessarily put us through. He was rude, condescending, smug, ridiculous and absolutely disgusting in his demeanor! I would rate this place a negative 10 if I could. Never in my life have I experienced something like that.
ive never met a more ignorant doctor eve, name blake yerman , his words were terifing , i checked myself out without service and he refusuede any meds, i havegib internal bleeding the nurses were great
I ve delivered 3 babies at Ogden Regional and had a great experience every time. From the nice big rooms, to the great nurses, and other friendly and warm staff, it s a great place to have a baby.
I was seen in a timely manner by personnel who were professional and kind. I've always been treated with respect anytime I've visited this Medical Center.
Called to make an appointment to have a tour of their facilities. When a nurse answered she was short & impatient and said "no rooms available." Then hung up on me. Im fine with there being nothing available, but im not ok with the unprofessionalism and lack of courtesy. I cant trust people like this to handle me and my baby when it's time deliver. Neither should you.
I couldn't have asked for better Pre Surgery assistance than the two Nurses that prepared me for my surgery. Recovery after returning to my room proved a little different. Things that didn't need to be worried about, were concerns by the staff. I got o my room around 5:00 PM. I had no thought of eating only something warm to be drinking. The first cup of hot (warm) broth was great, The second burned my mouth and started me to not be able to drink let alone eat anything with out pain. But we managed and I was able to go home.
Entering the hospital I was met by a very friendly young woman who asked me questions about COVID-19 Symptoms and then taken my temperature.
I went in for blood work and the staff was very nice. After taking my info they had give me a Ipad to fill out all the personal info and then I was off to meet with another very nice person about my health insurance info. After a short time with her she walked me over to where to another area so they can take my blood. Very professional staff.
I would say they're a great hospital since I just move here and I never been to this place. Great experience!!
I was not happy with one of the doctors. The night nurses were awesome day ones not to good forgot to order my food one of the nurses ask me if I was ready for my pain pill. Problem was I was not on any pain pills.about the doctor when I was released was horrible did tell me nothing about my results when I asked him and the nurse was reading my discharge papers to me and she got to something on one of the pages and she said the doctor said to quite using drugs. I was very offended and I ask for him to come back to my room so he could explain himself the nurse said hes already gone. I have been clean from the drug he put down for almost 15 years . People do change and never touch whatever again but society and judgemental jerky doctors.
Great one night post operative experience. Everyone was friendly, very attentive and professional. My one niggle is the food. Although better than McKay Dee, hospitals should take the lead in offering healthy organic menu options, including cream for coffee. Otherwise, hospital stay was top notch!
Went to the ER for severe hip pain at the suggestion of Hill Air Force Base nurse line. It was awful. I left in more pain and upset than I was before I went. At the hospital they did an X-ray and the doctor (Dr Hawkins) said it was degenerative and he asked if I had told my family physician about it. It s only been severe for 3 days, that's why I went to emergency, so I tell him no and I was trying to tell him it has only been a few days but he interrupted me and said "ok" and then walked out. After my X-ray he came back and suggested I find a doctor that could do injections , that 'they' are cracking down on giving pain meds, and suggested IBP and Acetaminophen. He said he could give me a shot of Toradol, which I was happy to get, he shook my hand and walked out. That was it. I wasn't there for pain meds, I was hoping for cortisone shot in my hip. I was stunned. I wasn't asked if the Toradol was helping, which it didn't touch the pain. No info on said doctors that do injections. No "do I have any questions". It was terrible. If you go to the ER and get this doctor, ask for a different one. Hopefully a different doctor will listen to what you have to say and treat your pain accordingly.
Loved everything about my stay other than hospital bed but that was expected. I loved my first nurse Becky she was amazing and I believe she made my labor alot more easier. Everyone took good care of me and the baby and was always there if I needed anything..
So I went to e.r. today concerned because I got a positive pregnancy test but have been having pretty heavy periods and clots. I got the answers I needed, the doctors and nurses were great. But the guy that came to draw my blood was way straight forward and I hope no one ever gets him when there worried about possibly loosing there baby.. He told me I didn't belong there and me thinking something is wrong with my pregnancy is not an emergency.. He said your not bleeding or crying your smiling. He then sat down and started talking about his job then he asked "whats been going on with you?" I was about to tell him but then he says "don't go into details". I hope no women having a miscarriage, tubal, or just worried for there babies health has to hear the horrible things he has to say.. He was not saying these things in a nice way either as if he has no respect for anyone. It's like he only wanted someone to listen to
Prompt, friendly and efficient. I was in the hospital at my scheduled appointment time, attended to by a friendly professional staff and released in less than 30 minutes.
The only complaint I have is that they referred me to a Dr for follow up that doesn't take my insurance. So I am still trying to find another one that will. It has been 6 days and still have not found one.
My surgery and 1 night stay at Ogden Regional Medical Center for Heart Oblation surgery went wonderfully. Everything was very clean and they are taking excellent precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The MRI and the surgery room computer imaging equipment was state-of-the-art. The doctors, nurses and all attending staff were well skilled, very attentive and very friendly. The food was also amazing. I'm feeling so much better now and glad it all went so well. Thanks, George Wouden
Was told 2 separate days in a row to come to check in. After driving an hour, we arrived to be told there were no beds. It is irresponsible to have patients come in off meds to be turned away.
I love this hospital. They are kind, professional, I don't have to wait much. I wish my insurance covered me here instead of the other place. Also, prices for procedures seem more reasonable.
I had my gallbladder surgery here back in 2012. I know it's been awhile and they could've changed but I wanted to share my experience. The surgeon who did the surgery was AWFUL!! She was extremely rude and careless. The nurses seemed like they just got out of school or were in training, because they were very unprofessional and didn't care that I was in pain. This was the worst experience of my life, I have PTSD from the trauma i suffered. I really hope they are better now and the surgeon no longer works here.
I loved so many things about this place however I was not told that I could order from the kitchen and ask for a sandwich after hours for free until my last day. So needless to say after I gave birth I struggled to find a place to deliver food and I spent too much on food that I didn t have to. The nurses were very nice and attentive I just really wish the nurses station was a little more patient and didn t hang up on my calls and took an hour to get my nurse one time. Other than that I love that you stay in one room the entire stay and the complimentary dinner for they set up was such a treat and the food was delicious!
They do need more registration persons to process the paperwork. When the surgery nurse calls a name they need to say the Last name because several people have the same first name and they take the first person that answered and then when the second nurse comes and finds out the first nurse took the wrong patient because they were the one she was to take. I was the second patient that the first nurse had called. Sure glad i didn't have the wrong surgery! Verify! Verfiy! and Verify you have the correct person.
Very efficient! The Pleasant View free standing ER facility is a super convenient option for those of us on the north end of Ogden. Jessica the US tech was informative and very personable.
Labor and delivery, was an amazing experience!! OB Dr. Amber Vegh, Nurses and staff treated me with so much care and kindness. So attentive, caring and friendly. Love this place!!
I can explain how I feel at this moment. This hospital use to be a great place with good doctors . My niece was taken in today for an over does we sat up there all day. Not once did a doctor go in and check in her. Just the once when she was taken in. And other time that she semi woke up and he said that the crisis doctor was going to come in and talk to her. But to our surprise that the crisis doctor did a FaceTime evaluation. What the hell FaceTime and then before we new it they had released her. This hospital sure has gone to the bumps. Because if they would have takin her to mackay hospital she would still be in there because she is a dangerous to her self. I don t even get a star but I had to put something. I m really disgusted how this can happen. And in this hospital.
Ruth Anne, my delivery nurse, was absolutely incredible and accommodating. She answered mine and my husband s millions of questions as this was our first child and did everything in her power to help calm my nerves. She made all the difference in helping me have a positive and happy birth, I d give her a full 5 stars. HOWEVER, all the post partum nurses we had after her got more and more moody and my husband and I felt very uncomfortable. I do not recommend the first room on the right, the air does not regulate and it was pumping AC at the beginning of February. My husband went to talk to a nurse about it to see if they could fix it as me and my newborn were freezing. The nurse, Ashley, followed him back into our room and informed him that all of the nurses had been talking about us, that we were causing problems, and acted like she had a personal bone to pick with us. Neither of us had met her until then. My sister asked her to take it outside and she completely ignored her and continued to disrespect my husband who was just watching out for his family. She flung the curtain on her way out in an attitude and my husband and I decided right then and there that we were leaving. Ashley made the the experience incredibly sour for us. She was very unprofessional and her customer service was awful. Ogden Regional, you need to fix this and reevaluate the attitudes and professionalism of your employees so no one ever has to experience what we did during such a precious time as a new family.
My sister fell and we had to take her up there. Very nice in the ER. All the nurses in the whole staff was very very nice she's had to stay a few days and then she'll be leaving she's been in wonderful hands.
June 8, 1916. ER We visited ER because of the pain in my leg. We were brought in within 5 minutes; didn't have to wait. Staff were immediately attending me. The doctor was in within another 5 minutes. We were impressed with the process of admitting. They took care of the patient then asked for detailed personal data, insurance, etc. Dr. Feinauer was courteous and a good listener. He gave a diagnosis within a few minutes and answered questions about the prescribed medications. Realizing it was not a "serious" diagnosis" that was needed, instead of 3-4 hour experience in most ER's, we were leaving in exactly 70 minutes. I would readily recommend Ogden Regional ER to any and all!
Everyone was very helpful and courteous. Any question I had was answered promptly and was easy for me to understand. Overall, I had a very positive experience at Ogden Regional Medical Center.
My visit to Ogden Regional Medical Center was great. The staff took care of me in an exceptional manner. The procedure that I had done was very successful and was handled in and outstanding way. The nursing staff did a remarkable job of making sure that all was well with me. I particularly enjoyed Shaylee the head of nursing while I was completely bedridden. She was very helpful the whole time.
My grandmother received poor treatment and in the phlebotomist lab i over heard one of the employees had a record of creating fraud what kind of hospital hires people with criminal records? That just shows there must of been some foul play for this "Employee" to have gotten a job in the hospital !
I'm really disappointed in the quality of service the ER has. I was informed by my doctor because I was running a fever and my neck was swollen to go to the ER. When I went I was told wrong information about the illness that I had. I indeed had an infection. The "doctor" would not touch me, look at me, or bothered to help in anyway. The "doctor" did not do the standard of looking in my throat or my ears and listening to my lungs. I left with my heart broken. Nothing was done. So I called my doctors office and explained what happened and so they did a over the phone doctor visit. I was given an antibiotic that I had a severe allergic reaction to and did I think of going to the ER? No way! I took care of it my self. Only because I worked as a CNA in a hospital did I know what they did for allergic reactions. It was very dangerous to do what I did because I was alone. So I don't recommend that at all. Your ER has disappointed me many times I will not be returning. I would rather die! Because that is exactly what would happen if I went to your ER. So I will find some other place. So in closing don't bother. There are so many non-caring doctors in your facility for me to return. I think McKay Dee will be a better place at least I know why there ER is full, because they seem to care.
The nurses were very kind and helpful. They were quick to respond and answered every question I had. On the day of my surgery, Garret my nurse was especially attentive...making sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on. After he was off duty, he stopped by my room on his way out to say goodbye and wish me luck. I was in the hospital a week prior in a different unit and found this one so much better.
I had a total knee replacement and was in the hospital for three days. Everyone was great. The only complaint I have is that my PCP wanted to be notified so she could come and see me and I couldn't get anyone to contact her. All in all excellent care. I was very impressed.
Attitude 0/10. Half the people I encountered had a bad attitude for no reason. 0 communication. Lost my forums and had to re-fill them out. Everything was my fault though. I had to ask for a missing page the second time I filled them out because it was missing. This is NOT how a hospital with peoples LIVES in their hands should be conducted. That being said; the few nice people I did encounter were incredibly helpful. Doctors are great, most were nice.
My dad was taken there to be stabilized in ER they were great! Thank you for your help! They were kind and professional and put all their energy in getting him taken care of quickly.
Most people here are professionals. I had a dr. There once who enjoyed hearing our most agonizing screams. Pretty creepy it was 2 of them actually. I was there for stitches. Stitches in my right thumb. My hand has never been the same. Its numb in certain places. Ill never forget.
Why did you give my brother two bags of saline when he is on dialysis????? He literally got worse by going to this hospital. We re not the paying the bill, so you can eat it.
Very put together hospital meaning doctors , treatment and putting you first . they are not perfect all hospitals , doctors and nurses need reminders occasionally about how to make procedures better for the patient, but they have always listened and treated me with the utmost respect. thankyou
Any time I need surgery In the future I will always go to Ogden regional and Ogden clinic. My surgeon Dr Edward Jordan was fantastic and the whole staff at Ogden regional really eased my nerves before hand as I was SOOOO nervous and they made sure all my questions were answered and that I was comfortable afterwards as well! I remember I always panic when going under for anesthesia and they said ok we are gonna just give you some oxygen here in this mask next thing I know I was waking up in the recovery room I would rather have them do that than to tell me when they are gonna knock me out so I was less nervous and I never really had the chance to panic hahaha overall I really appreciate the whole staff! Shoutout to AJ, Methany, and Kirk for all the amazing service and hard work!
