Don't bother with the restaurant. But the tram, chairlift, slide, and playground were all fun.
Very nice I dont think mNy people realize that its z whole world in itself.. very nice friendly staff. Great stores at affordable prices loved the silver store the water massage and the old time candy store
It beautiful! Cozy! And lots of shopping on the strip for little things. And its romantic!
The Trim ride getting up there was breathtaking over looking the mountains WOW
Well we are from florida. We saw snow. If we weren't I would say 3 stars. Need to clean it up. Has kind of a smelly roller skating rink vibe. The ride up the mountain was cool.
Fun family oriented place with many activities. The lift to the top has an amazing view.
Have been many times, it's a must do in Gburg! Views on ride up, and down, are phenominal!
Beautiful place to admire the beauty of the mountains from the heights, and in Autumn the color of the leaves makes it look even more beautiful.
They have to make their tour highly recommended.
The only thing that could make this lift worse is if you fell to your death! This tram will deliver you to the top of a mountain (20-30 minutes between trips) and drop you in the worlds worst tourist trap. It s a compound loaded with confusion. Different tickets for different activities and so on. Then!!! When you re ready to get back to the dismal reality of Gatlinburg, you ll wait in a horrific line with other miserable tourists not knowing if your wait is 20 or 60 minutes. This team is truly the icing on the gatlinburg cake! Oh! Also, they shut down the beer counter long before the end of the day. Don t waste your time and money.
Could use some major updates to the place, but overall a great experience for tourists!
Beautiful place to visit & different things to do once you get to the top of the mountain..
Maybe it's ok in the winter. In the summer this place is dead.
Enjoyed Oktoberfest. Nothing to do there other times.
Good place if you are starting out with either snowboarding or skiing but does get very crowded and it's hard to avoid other people while out on the slopes. It also has several attractions that are very suited for the entire family.
Love the alpine slide. You can pay one price ($20)and ride as many times as you want.
This is my favorite place to go for Oktoberfest each year. Great ice skating rink, great restaraunt and food, wonderful employees and excellent facilities for sure!
Very outdated and dirty. Greatly in need of new carpet, better nicer shops, paint and cleaning! The atmosphere is almost depressing because everything is so old and dirty. The only positive thing I can say is the staff when we went skiing was very friendly and helpful. This place greatly needs an overhaul overall though; very disappointed that in the 10+ years we have come to Gatlinburg nothing has been done to improve this for their guests.
This is on top of the mountain where they have live music it's so beautiful up there
Great place for younger kids! We arrived at 1pm and ran out of time. We bought the all inclusive pass and tried to fit everything in. The alpine slide was closed due to weather, keep that in mind if you want to do it. A worker informed us that is it rains at all the slide closes. The restaurant is one the second floor we did not have a good experience there.
My husband and I have always made it a point to enjoy the German food during Oktoberfest in the restaurant. We were hugely disappointed this year as the quality of the food has gone downhill. They were out of stone ground mustard and some of the beers.
Our server John was fabulous. He was the only thing good about thience.
The chicken schnitzel was overcooked and dry.
I doubt we will return next year
Fun. Long wait to reach parking. Long lines to purchase tickets. Snow was actually ice. Made it hard for beginners to be successful and comfortable.
Such a great experience. Smooth ride and beautiful scenery.
Fun!!! Must do the roller coaster and the alpine coaster.
Nice place, ice-skating was fun for my family, they had bumper cars at one end of the rink that stayed busy. My granddaughter rode the carousel but by the time she went outside for the rides, they were closed. I think everything closed at 8pm
Great place to visit in the winter and summer. There is plenty to do in the winter like skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and plenty to do in the summer like water slides and a maze. there is also the things that can be done all year round like the mountain coaster, the ice skating, the chairlift and wildlife encounter. In the winter there is even artificial snow made so that there is almost always skiing and snowboarding available even in slightly higher temperatures. I do the All-day ski pass every year and it is always a ton of fun and there is plenty of places to eat and relax when you need to take a break.
Worth the drive to the top of the mountain! We spent half the day there. Going on rides and looking at the animals. I could only imagine how wonderful this would be in the winter. I would go again next time I'm in Gatlinburg.
Great place for family. Got a very good view from top. The price are very nominal. If you have young kids, this is one for you. Covered from all side with glass for viewing. Trip is frequent and the queue gets cleared soon. Definitely a to go place if you are in Gatlinburg. Looking forward to visit again on my next trip
The park at the top of the mountain is wonderful, with lots to do, and eat. However if you ride that tram down to downtown be ready to wait 3 hours in line to get back up top or visa versa. It sucks. This whole area has WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE.
This was my first time on a mountain coaster! the tram up was great and the coaster was incredible!!!
View on the air tram was excellent. Once we got up, there were some issues. Twice staff members told us one thing only to be contradicted by another staff member. Long line to buy ride tickets.
Great place for the entire family! Lots of things to do to keep everyone happy for the entire day. Lots of fun and beautiful scenery.
Awesome place to go and spend the day. Inexpensive and lots of things to do.
Enjoy tubing in snow and skating in very nice neture
Awesome sky train ride up. Good alpine coaster ice skating rink and snow boarding or skiing
It was fun you have to pay for basicly every thing when you get up there but it's fun
Beautiful place, great little stop to take while on vacation in Gatlinburg. Nestled way up in the mountains, wonderful view..lots of stores to visit and things to do from ice skating, to bumper cars to skiing even.
Made the trip on Easter morning for sunrise services. Due to weather the services were held inside on the ice rink. Very well attended, and the team ride was complimentary
Restaurant food was way overdone not enough help and longest line to stand in to get on tram
lots of fun activities there, but I think my favorite was ice skating.
It was $5 to park. They have a good new Mountain coaster. They also have a toboggan which is older. There is a ice skating rink also
Nice place but they being misleading people not telling them what open and what's close, cause of the high temperature their ski slopes are mostly close but people realize when they already paid to go up in the mountains which is ok to take pictures etc but then you disappointed cause you thinking of skiing not pictures lol
At the top the chairlift broke down. Could not ride it! Disappointing!
After 2.5 hours of waiting to get ski equipment and no beginner slopes except for the ski school it was not worth the money. Snow tubing sold out before Ober opened, the mountain coaster was closed all day, and so was the wildlife encounter. The limited food options all had ridiculous lines all day and the prices were exorbitant. $3.50 for a 12 oz bottle water!
Very bad experience, the lines are very long and there is not time to do all the activities, the activities are expensive and the time to ski was until and the day I went they closed at 2 and we could not do the activity
This place was directly across from our hotel. Loved it! Especially the ride in the tram up there & back. Beautiful scenery! & the man who works with the animals is so nice! Can't wait to go back when we're that way again!
Rode the tram up to Ober to take kids tubing and the mountain roller coaster. We had a blast. Will return soon. Word of advice for those visiting during winter months pack warm clothes. Boots gloves and good winter coat. We froze to death in our hoodies but so worth it in the end
The tram was good and the views couldn't be beat! Our driver was very amusing to boot :-)
Everything to do for all ages. Ski, wildlife, rollercoaster, restaurants, public restrooms, cable car, top of the mountain view.
Me and my girlfriend loved it there, of course she dreaded the tram but the tram drivers were hilarious
Oh wow where do I start. I just wanted to love this place and maybe in winter I will. The first word that comes to mind is old. The Ober needs a facelift, desperately! The tram ride up is fabulous, however once you step off the rest is just plain disappointing. The 'zoo' is not only depressing for humans, but to keep those bears in a concrete pit, just don't get me started. The putt putt golf is falling to pieces and why on earth would you paint the concrete black??? The ride to the top of the mountain is pretty and the views spectacular, but in my mind save your money and drive to Clingmans Dome for the view. Better still wait until Anakeesta opens and visit there instead. Sorry guys, I so wanted to love it after all you've been through after the fires. Maybe the new mountain coaster will help you out!
Debatable that going up on the off season is worth it. Just went to ride the Alpine coaster, which was fun, but it's a bit pricey.
Looking very run down. Won't last much longer without investing some money
Ever visit Gatlinburg, deffinately make a day to spend here. There is soo much to do and the prices won't break the bank!
So much to do from a mountain roller coaster, tubing to skiing.
