By far the worst and unprofessional insurance company I've ever came across. They over charged me EVERY month and any time I've called the representatives are VERY rude and disrespectful. I do NOT recommend anyone to use their services...EVER!

Americo does not use in-house agents. Problems involving not knowing what you're purchasing have to do with 3rd party agents who sell for multiple companies and you should probably deal with an agent you trust instead. I have never had an issue with this company.

This company is ridiculous. They double charged my mother in laws account and did not refund her promptly. Then when she wanted to cancel an agent came to her home and got a manager on the phone who tried to guilt trip her into keeping the policy after the agent told her she didn't bring cancelation forms. Soon after she found some. This is EXTREMELY BAD BUSINESS. Very untrustworthy and shady practices. Go elsewhere for insurance needs!

Incredibly rude when I called to receive help with claims. I work at a medical clinic and the lady was completely unwilling to help me with the issue. She kept repeating the same thing without trying to further understand what I was saying. Highly unimpressed

I purchased mortgage insurance through a rude unprofessional , disrespectful insurance broker. Something didn't feel right , I looked up the company's number and called, sure enough this person sold me something totally different from I was I told. I decided to cancel the policy. My 2nd nightmare started, I am supposed to receive my money back I canceled within the 1st month of purchased. I have been waiting for my refund since October 23, today is November 23, no refund , I called again today, the manager would mot come to the phone Juan Williamson, who promised on October 26 I would have my money back in 5-7 days. According to today's customer service rep . they are in the process of cutting the check. Mr. Willison was supposed to call me back I'm still waiting . I want my money back, I want what is mine.
this company is unprofessional, it has the worst customer service, if you call them make sure you are comfortable , because you will be on the phone a good 30-45 min on the phone waiting for somebody to answer.

This has to be the most unprofessional company ever. My mother was the owner of a policy for another family member and my mother passed away. I wanted to cancel the policy but was told only the owner of the policy can cancel it. Well I do not think she'll be calling to cancel the policy and the last time I checked, you can't get anything from a deceased person.

My mother passed away November 2020 from cancer, she was never a smoker nor drank. She had a policy with this company which was probably a few months shy of having it for two years. We have sent all the information needing to collect as one of her beneficiaries and yet we are still getting the run around. The people are rude, they keep telling us to fill out information for her medical records which has been done then tells us we need to fill out a different form for the same records. I wish my mother would have let me research this company before she bought the policy because I would have told her to pass this up. We've already come out of pocket to pay for her funeral when the insurance was supposed to take care of that.

This company so far has been the most unprofessional company I have ever deal with. First they sent to my house a guy who seemed to be very nice. At the binging we agreed to have the insurance.... worst decision ever... first we never got any papers from them, about the policy and almost a year later i found out they were just taking money from our account. When I called to claim it was a nightmare to close the account, and on top of that the account has been closed for over 2 months and they still took two more payments , thank god for my bank .... they took care of them
