Tubing was lots of fun. Awful check-in experience. Electronic check-in was anything but fast and efficient. Stood in one line only to be told that we needed to process in somewhere else. Had to complete waiver process again despite having done it electronically. Too many people in one session - 20 min between rides.

What an absolute waste of time and money. First, it cost $10 to park. They then send you up the mountain to their already 100% full parking lot. You then have to go back down the mountain to where you just paid. That's where you end up parking. You then get on a bus packed full of people during a pandemic. Once we arrived, we quickly discovered that most of the attractions were closed for one reason or another. The snow tubing was sold out before the park even opened! If you wanted to ski or snowboard....good luck! The line was out the front door and around the building. Even the line to get tickets to the remaining attractions took 30 minutes. We spent 3 hours and $50 to ice skate once and drive the bumper cars once. Save your money and do something worth it. You would have more fun jamming a pencil in your eye.

Snow skiing, snow tubing, ice-skating, Sledding and more. You take a tram to the top of the mountain for $14 round-trip. I guess if you buy one way ticket you re stuck. The ice-skating rink is nice and the artificial snow is really neat. It s raining on it today so it s pretty much artificial ice. We re going to ride the bumper boats now. They re also on The ice-skating rink. It s a neat place with lots of interesting things. We even saw the Barbie dream house in real life.

I really enjoyed this facility. I didn't get to partake in ALL of the things that we could have done (my son was disappointed) since we had to get back for another scheduled excursion. LOTS of choices for those of all ages. The all inclusive band is really the way to save money instead of paying piecemeal for your rides/activities. I wish that there were more food options.

We waited an hour in the car on the road outside just to get into the car park, for no reason, there was spaces available when the staff finally let us in we then waited 15 mins for them to correct a problem with our tickets which left us 20 mins to go on the tubes. They told us we could go to the main counter to talk about getting an extension and the line for that counter was probably about 2 hours long. This place is very disorganized and understaffed. We had a terrible experience and would not recommend this place to anyone. In order to arrive in time for your activity you would have to arrive about 2 hours prior to your start time. If your a person who likes lines, bad service and waiting then this is the place for you!

Great view, it s worth it to go up the top. Price is reasonable $7 per person. The staff is nice and competent, my husband lost his phone in the ride and we tell them, they retrieved it and when we get to the bottom they had it at guest service. it's not an easy terrain and even so they were and they looked for it.

Don't waste your time or money especially if you are an amputee, they will sell you tickets to ride and REFUSE to let you ride after waiting in the long times and having already sat down and buckeld up on the ride if you don't have all of your limbs! Discrimination at its finest!

They take you on the mountain in a closed lift/ropeway. At the top there are many things to do for kids. Including another ride at top of a different top than where you are. The second ride is open.
Little expensive

Ober was a very nice place. Different and unique. We went ice skating for the first time in years and had fun. The only reason I gave this place a four star is simply because they need to keep the ice cleaned so people aren't falling catching grooves in the ice to make them fall. If they would shut down the rink for a few to take the Zamboni across it to clean it every so often it would've been way more enjoyable. I have skated on ice since I was a child and it brought back my childhood hockey days except for the chunky ice they had from not keeping it clean more often

Awesome family fun! We had a blast and the Ice skating inside was a blast also. Hot chocolate and coffee stands every where so there's no long lines. Everything is beautiful there and well maintained. We visit every year and have never left there unhappy or dissatisfied.

Over all we had a good experience however on the website and at the information desk at the base of the mountain we were told everything closes at 5pm except for ice skating.
We specifically planned our day around this time frame. At 4:25 they closed everything. We were unable to ride the alpine slide or the mountain roller coaster. We asked several people about buying tickets and were today we decided to close the rides at 4:30.
We were very disappointed. It appeared as though the staff decided to close early for their convience.
If we return we will make different time arrangements.

Pre-Covid I would give it three stars but due to Covid only 1. In regards to COVID precautions 1 star and really it is a serious concern the lack of concern they have in keeping guests safe. Most people didn t have on masks even while simply walking around and hand sanitizer was not available anywhere even in eating areas or near the ticket booths. It was far too packed and no reinforcement or following of 6 foot distances- most people were shoulder to shoulder nearly. As soon as we got here I wanted to leave. If you have any concern for health and Covid measures I wouldn t recommend coming here but if you don t mind the risk then go for it.

Great place for family day or a date with a significant other.

There are various things to do, but one of the most notable is to ride the tram car up from the City of Gatlinburg to the resort at the top of the mountain.

If heights are not your thing you can always drive up, but the tram itself is a great experience usually uniquely narrated by an employee of the resort.

At the top of the mountain there are various rides, bumper cars, rollercoasters etc.
An animal sanctuary, and of course the skiing and snowboarding amenities which are seasonal specific.

All in all fun place to go if you are in the Gatlinburg area.

Don't waste your time! This place is definitely over rated and over priced. The wait time for the tram ride was excessive... 3+ hours. CDC guidelines??? What is that? There aren't any precautions in place. The trams pack people inside like sardines. There is zero social distancing evident throughout the place. Avoid at all cost!

Definitely a cool attraction Here in Gatlinburg I love the animal encounter and the tram ride up the place definitely hasn't changed much over the years the skylift to Mount Harrison is definitely worth the trip up

This place you can tube, snow board or ski, also indoors you can go and ice skate. And a lot of places to eat inside the area or outside. Very family oriented and well organized for anyone looking for fun while staying in Gatlinburg Tennessee.

In the off season (anytime other than the winter) the inside is completed with a skating rink to skate and bumper tubes, and little fun things like an animal sanctuary, little shops, a fudge shops and a restaurant. Fun place to bring kids. I just wish there was a way of knowing that we needed tickets before partaking. It's like a mini amusement park.

We had a great time there. The kids ice skated while I snacked and watched. There was a fire pit to sit by. The mall was nice. We were going to snow tube but they were sold out for several hours. We considered snow boarding or skiing but they wanted a 300.00 deposit per person and it would have been too much. Being that their gear is old and dated and paid for many times over, 300.00 is way too steep for the deposit. We will buy our own snow board next time, for less than 300.00,and come back and use own gear. Still loved the place. Will return.

Maybe we just went during a bad time. But we did the last minute skiing so we had to rent everything , no one was helpful at all when it came to telling us where to get everything , or they didn t know better . Went to go rent the pants and they acted like it was horrible of me to ask for a different size .
Once we did get to go skiing not much was open obviously due to the weather being so warm.
Wouldn t suggest it for beginners , they don t have any easy slopes to teach on.
Place is a little outdated but they have some of other things to do for the family .
Don t suggest eating here, wasn t very happy with the wings .

Big facility, showing a little age, but still a great venue. Family oriented all the way. We went before ski season and still had a blast with the mountain coaster, ice bumper cars, and ice skating.

The visit was great this was my grandkids first time there. We loved all the activities and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem was when we got ready to leave a tree had fallen across the road so the bigger buses could not bring people back down my family and 2 other families got on a smaller bus to come down and was talked to terribly be an employee there and made us all get off the bus so a larger party go down first. She was very rude. My grandkids did not understand why she made us get off and called us direspectful. We had all been waiting the same amount of time to come down as the larger party.

This was suppose to be a fun experience! We brought our 8 year old and a few of his friends snow tubing. IT WAS LIKE A CONCENTRATION CAMP! Required mask outside, roped off lines with people directed, employees yelling the same thing over and over like a broken record etc! They wouldn t even allow me to take a picture tire at the end of the tubing hill of our son and his friends coming down. This cost $30.00
Per person and there were five of us!!! We should be allowed to get a picture! NO where did it state that we couldn t! I do no recommend coming to Ober!!

Absolutely awful. Staff is rude, there are only a few hills and they were covered in mud, no accommodations for gluten allergy, overall not satisfied with my experience. I do not recommend. Overpriced for the awful skiing and snowboarding conditions.

If you love the year 1982, then this place is for you! This place contains the ghosts of side ponytails, solid white sneakers and light blue denim jackets. This place is rad, but not in a good way. I bet Cagney and Lacey solved a mystery here.

Ober Gatlinburg is a neat place and has tons of family friendly entertainment. Just be ready to pay up, it is basically a mini amusement park with all the prices (pay to park, pay for attractions, pay for snacks/lunch, etc...). It was More

I d say it s only worth it if you re getting the wristband pass and spending the day there. They also charge $10 for parking and in a very Disney World sort of way, you have to pay it. There s no other options. The alpine slide was fun for us but $10 to park and then $8 a person for one ride was steep. Again, would only recommend if you re going and getting the wristband, otherwise they ll nickel and dime you all day long.
