Very fun place to skiing and snowboarding, I love the instructor classes, they're really fun and nice. The only thing is that you need a very expensive deposit to rent all the equipment you need, and in season time will be very expensive. The food inside isn't too good.

The worst experience, everything was close, we paid for a premium ticket and only one attraction was open. I felt robbed. We did ask the customer service rep and she never mentioned that all attractions were closed.Unless you go during the winter time, please, do not waste your time. It's only 4 gift shops with the same merch you can get at Gatlinburg, and they will charge you $44.

Great views, lots for children to do. The inside there is a ice rink for ice skating and bumper ice boats, lots of shops and good food. Out side the is a amusement park for the kids, there is also the coaster for the big kids.

Yes, it's east coast, low elevation manufactured snow. But for all that, it's a great place doing great things like hosting Specual Olympics winter games, and for skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating, it's certainly worth the trip.

The Alpine coaster, what we came for was fun. We had not done anything like that before. The small zoo was fun. A little outdated and dark. It could use a little sprucing up. Friendly staff.

Overall a fun day. Like any ski resort during the holidays you spend a lot time waiting in line, but the staff were friendly and efficient checking out equipment and loading the chairlift. Only downside was the upstairs lounge bartender. She was awful. She d be better off going back to her old job as a prison guard.

The ride was quite all you could hear was the wind going through the car. We got there very late so most of the stores and the luge rides were closed. Make sure you start early to truly enjoy what they have to offer which is a lot

Fun and snowy place to spend family time. Has a couple decent food options, a safe-for-kids playzone and a skiing zone. The line for the tram is a complete nightmare, though. So remember to start doing it early.

We used to go here every summer growing up and it was always a must do. I was pretty disappointed and sad when my husband our son and myself just visited. It definitely needs a lot of work. And the prices are absolutely ridiculous. It s $8 just to park. Not to mention half of the kiddie rides are closed and broken.

Cool place to go snowboarding or skiing, mostly fake snow which made the runs super slick. Sometimes felt very disorganized and crowded but enjoyable bc it's the closest snowboarding to our area.

This place is a COVID-19 haven! They don't even follow their own COVID Guidelines for social distancing. They cram you in like sardines on the aerial tram and have signs on everything with maximum occupancy and then cram you in those places too.

Ober Gatlinburg was a great place to visit. Your ticket gets you into the park for 2 days. Rode the scenic chondola up the mountain and the view was just spectacular. At the top of the mountain was a band playing music and great photo opportunities.

It's a lot to write about this place... As a ski resort is very unorganized. The most disturbing thing is that, if you don't get there 3 hours before they open the slopes, you won't find parking space , so they turning you back to downtown Gatlinburg to take the tramway witch will cost you $17 per person.. needles to say the line and frustration, caring all your ski gear around. .By the way parking at Ober cost $10, meanwhile in other places is free . Another time consuming is if you're hungry, in line for 45 min, instead of a grab and go.
We visited Gatlinburg in the summer and where extremely happy with our vacation, unfortunately I couldn't say tge same about the skiing season..

Over Gatlinburg is an absolutely wonderful place. When I was a little girl I spent many family vacations on Gatlinburg, TN and we always went to Ober Gatlinburg. Now I m blessed to be able to take my children there to make incredible memories together. I highly recommend it. Mostly everyone that works there is very nice and helpful but like everyplace you have that few that just have no business in the Customer Service Business and are strictly there for a paycheck.

Took the tram up. Not fond of heights however the view is amazing! Dad to see the devastation from the fires. Really relaxing up on top. So much for the kids to do. They loved the ice skating especially since you don't freeze. (You can go in shorts) & the alpine slide. Great memories.

This place was so much fun, you have to pay for parking ($10) and then pay inside for whatever it is you want to try. They have an option of purchasing like an all day/every activity wristband for like $37. The chairlift ride to the top of the mountain is amazing. The mountain slide and mountain coaster are really really fun.

This is an ageing attraction.

What Ober Gatlinburg has going for it is the cable car ride to the top. It's fabulous! The view is amazing and takes about 20 minutes or so to ascend or descend. When you get to the bottom it drops you right in the middle of the main parkway in Gatlinburg. Lots of great photo opportunities.

Unless you like Ice Skating, Fudge or shops selling chotskies there is not much at the actual building up top. It has a 80's vibe about it and probably has not seen many updates since then.

Small ski hill my kids enjoyed. We went during the march spring break and there was not much snow left on the ground and whatever was left was fairly slushy due to the warm weather. The plus to that is you could ski in your shorts and tees. Most part of the hill was closed so I cannot give a fair review but coming from skiing all the great slopes of the Canadian Rockies, this little hill almost felt like a toy ski hill. However, it was the perfect place for my kids to sharpen their amateur skills on this hill. Price for the lift and ski rental is reasonable.

It was fun and a good place to take the kids to play in snow when there was no actual snow out. Just wish the parking attendants would have been more helpful and informative. Also wish people would keep an eye on their kids

On February 26 the family was on the ski mountain, my teenage son had an accident on top of the mountain that he could not continue asking for help from the employee named "Brad" who refused at all times saying that he did not have to help him , the child with an ankle injury had to go down the mountain alone causing more damage for which we had to go to the emergency where his foot was immobiled with marked injuries that made it impossible to walk for a period of 4 weeks.
Brad does not deserve to be an employee of this place that so many people visit. I hope the administration takes into account this notification against him, I will return to visit the place with the family where I would not like to find this type of cruel person and lack of sensitivity again.

They've taken over a third of the ice rink for ice bumper cars. It's no longer worth the drive. The winter ice rink at Bristol Motor Speedway in the winter is just as well considering the drive. The ice is now more choppy and not as smooth as previous visits.

The guy that answered the phone wasn't able to answer my questions - told me to refer to the website - 5 minutes on the website also did not answer my questions.
Good luck with that business model - we'll be visiting the competition

What a view!! The ride was fun, and the view was absolutely beautiful. There are activities to do at the top, shops and food, and a small animal refuge where you can see bears and otters and a few other animals. We enjoyed it as a family.

Probably my favorite experience of out summer trip to Gatlinburg was coming to Ober and riding the Tram up to the top. The Tram experience and ride are good for 2 days and you can get activity passes at the top for many items such as the animal sanctuary, rides, ice skating, etc. You can easily spend an entire day at the top doing activities, shopping, and eating good food. We did the animal sanctuary and it was amazing. The bears and otters were out favorite animals. Each animal was injured or rescued. Staff were top notch and all very helpful and knowledgeable. The Tram operators told funny stories about the area on the way up and down the mountain. I definitely want to come back again to do more.

Green tomatoes were excellent (hot and not greasy). Entrees - pork schnitzel and rib eye steak were cooked well. Red cabbage just like Berlin's and sweet potato casserole tasty. Armer Ritter for dessert was warm and tasty. Overall good experience. Prices not that high.

Great Place, Pricing is OK. (Pictured Below) If your planning to do a few of the attractions make sure to buy a wristband. Highly Reccomend going up using the Scenic Lift to the top, Breathtaking view (picture below).

One of my favorite Gatlinburg attractions ... mainly for the tram ride up. The mountain coaster is a blast and the bar overlooking the slopes had some nice German selections. The arcade could use a little updating.

So fun
