Overall the experience was okay. Most of the attractions weren t available due to warmer weather. We did partake in the ice skating. Facilities are older, could use a big facelift. Felt like an 80 s movie.

I rode the tram last night only reason I went was to see the view thought it would be nice but how can you enjoy anything or the view when they pack 75 people seriously into the small tram what a joke if I could get my money back I would how can you enjoy anything or see anything packed like sardines and you literally can't move no joke people are all against each other worst ride of my life I will just go back to the ski lift park if I go back its more enjoyable. I would give it a zero but it won't let me if you don't like to be cramm packed against people stay away from this ride

So much fun but be careful we saw the staff catch a rattle snake as long as me and as round as my whole arm she wanted to come around the guests but they got her and released her away from everyone that was exciting

Great inexpensive way to play in the snow in Tennessee. I would only recommend if you will be visiting Over that you should book your activities ahead. In our first visit a few of the activities we were planning for were sold out. All in all a great place for the family.

A fun little getaway just up the mountain from Gatlinburg that allows for an escape like no other. The mountain ski lodge motif, makes it feel as though you have left the country, when in reality you have just left for the countryside. With outdoor rides, games, ice skating, food, adult beverages, and other opportunities to enjoy your time. The Alpine slide is amazing, with chairlift ride being an added bonus to start the ride. The only issue with Ober Gatlinburg is that you won't want to leave!

Honestly was very disappointed. $17 to get up to the top or $10 to park. Once you get to the top there s nothing pretty to see (it s like an old Chuck E. Cheese environment) especially compared to Anakeesta with pretty views and walking trails etc. Anita at the rollercoaster in Ober Gatlinburg was one of the rudest employees I ve ever encountered. She also gave false information about refunds and closing times. Not sure we should trust someone who doesn t know the facts of her own company to put you on a nature coaster... overall go to Anakeesta, not this place.

Love it

Do me a favor, ride the lift to the top. Trust me, it's worth it... wait til you get to the top and get off then go around the building and behold what's waiting in view of the distance.. its heavenly..

This place maybe more interesting in the summer or winter, but in the fall there was barely anything open. The alpine slide wasn't bad and the lift was neat. If you go I would not bother with basic wristbands unless you have very small kids. Instead look around and pay for anything that interests you. Most of the better attractions are extra anyway unless you buy the premium bands.

They pack the carriage like you were tuna. To pay the price they do I felt like packed meat. Terrible. I complained and they said they had the right to pack up to 80 people on the ride at a time. This is not a large carrying ride. I do not recommend in the busy seasons.

Needs many major updates needed both the facilities and the processes (i.e. automated ticketing machines, etc.) and staff could use customer service improvements. Doesn't feel worth the money.

First time here. Parking at Ober Gatlinburg was $8. It would have been better to park in Gatlinburg then buy a tram lift up. Not much open but the ice skating rink, arcade and a few shops on the mountain. In November the Alpine slide was closed along with most other outdoor activities. So we rode the tram down and back - $30/person but you could ride as many times as you wanted. We did get good views, and some great pictures. Go earlier in the season to have more activities.

Every single person I came in contact with at this...

Every single person I came in contact with at this place was rude or short with their answers as though they couldn't be bothered. An example of this, we had a group of 7 and wanted to take their chair lift to the top of the mountain. We noticed a sign saying a single person couldn't ride up. You had to be in pairs. We decided to ask if because our group had an odd number of people if one adult could ride single. The girls working at the ticket counter briefly looked up from what she was doing and said "has to be double", no explanation, no help to resolve it. I'm sure odd numbered groups come there often, do they just not allow them to go up if there's no other odd numbered group going up at that time? Is it a safety issue? I don't know. There were many instances like that one. The activities were nice but there was no snow to play with while waiting for your next activity, the facility was dated...i wouldn't go back unless I planned to ski all day.

Going up the mountain on sky tram to Ober Gatlinburg was an enjoyable experience. Once there experience the rides, shops, restaurant and snack areas on the inside in comfort.
Two grandchildren and grown son enjoyed sky lift and sliding back down on slide.

Only speaking from my experience which is very objective of 12/24/2018. It's hot so only fake snow and there is only 2 very small runs open and they are charging $65 a lift ticket for a 5 second run. They call it holiday pricing. There are other things to do other than ski which look fun. Need to time I will know better. Still a cool place for kids.

I was worried about the bad comments and I had already made up my mind that there would be long lines to enjoy the mountain, but what a surprise I arrived at 10 am and at 11 am I was already on the ski slope, the view was spectacular, It made incredible weather, I recommend the site 100%!

I was very disappointed because I came there to skiing, but no snow at all!
They charged 8$ for parking space and I was there just for 5 minutes!
Why you charge people when they come there for skiing or snowboarding and nothing there! Just a little spot for little babies!
Never come back to ober!
I was traveling from Gatlinburg to Cataloochee for snowboarding! It s about 1:30 minutes to drive. I didn t want to drive that long, but it was only one chance to see the snow!
But Gatlinburg is good city to celebrate new year!

The place is well kept but honestly I was completely confused from start to finish. Didn't know where to go for anything. Ended up paying for lessons I couldn't even find in the crowds. Employees were nice though.

This is really a cool place to view fall colors. Good options to spend good time with family and friends. This is definitely a 5 star place but I didn't find food was great. So I will 4 star for that.

We really enjoyed our trip to here and spent a wonderful time. If you have enough time then this is a must visit place (at least first time visitors).

I wish you will enjoy your time here.

It has been the WORST experience in the Smokies......

It has been the WORST experience in the Smokies...... Everything was paid upfront and when our family got there only the indoor activities were available. So we got a premium band and tickets for the best attractions because yes the best attractions are not included in the "premium" and after almost $100 per person we had to come back to our car SO FRUSTRATED. Really.... the risk to lose your money in this place is huge. We will never come back.

Where do I begin, ooo weee as they say round here. Positives- Unique tram ride up to the top and impressive views. Be prepared to wait many hours to ride however. Negatives- the tram drops you off at what can only be described as a trailor park clubhouse. This place hasn't been renovated in years and the food was beyond horrid with an extremely long wait to consume. BTW, be prepared to be served up by the 'kings and queens' of appalachia missing teeth and all! Social distancing is non existent to boot..I want me ma money back ye' all

Ober Gatlinburg was fun. It s been a long time since I ve been and not too much is different. There is ice skating, ice bumper cars, mini golf (O bears mini golf), a rock climbing wall and a chairlift (Scenic Chairlift) to Mount Morrison to name a few of the attractions. The price is affordable compared to other attractions in the area but they are a tad outdated and not the newest and most cutting edge attractions that everyone is drawn to. All attractions are priced between $4-$8 except for the Aerial Tramway ($17 for adults and $14 for children 5-11 yrs old) and the Ski Mountain Coaster ($16 per rider and $12 for children 5-11 yrs old). A few things to note: 1) You can drive to Ober Gatlinburg from Gatlinburg, but you have to pay a parking free of $10 once you get there. If you don t like driving to Ober, they provide shuttles as well free of charge (while the Aerial Tramway is unavailable), but you have to find parking first in Gatlinburg and I m not sure any of it is free. Lastly, you can ride the cable car (Aerial Tramway) to Ober but there is a cost for that; however, the cable car is unavailable due to renovations at this time. Make sure to check and make sure renovations are complete if you plan to ride. 2) In the past, you had to purchase tickets to each attraction. Now, you can purchase a wristband for the attractions. Adult wristbands are $35 and kids wristbands are $30 for ages 5-11 yrs old. 3) Make sure and keep track of the time you go. The crowds and lines get very large and very long depending on the season and the time of day you go.

This zoo should be closed down, absolutely dreadful. Bear in small enclosure trying to get inside, another banging on the trap door to get out. Awful!! Shame as we enjoyed the rest of the park, but this completely ruined our day. Considering I researched it first and they said that they encouraged protection of animals. Not what we witnessed.
