Conveniently located to Chicago O'Hare airport is this Hilton's selling point, especially if you have an early departure, as I did. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Otherwise, the hotel is just ok. Old structure and rooms which are due for an update. Buffet breakfast was limited and they need to invest in more toasters.

It use to be a very nice hotel. I stayed there last night, and let me just say. Never again. Outdated, horrible front desk response. I checked in on my mobile HHonors app. Paid, I got a confirmation for a digital, just find out they don't use such locks. I tried to call. front desk while standing in front of my room. I was put on hold for 20 munites. I had to call Diamond VIP desk for a supervisor to get involved and more wait, this time about 15 minutes in order for security to show up and let me in. NEVER AGAIN.....

Location is great if you are flight crew or has connection. Gym is awesome for hotel.
Very inconsistent amenity or service everytime i stay this hotel. I had a refrigerator in my room at this time. They usually charge you for refrigerator.
Bedding was aweful, just as cheap motel.

The hotel room was clean and spacious as we expected. The restaurant Andiamo was a pleasant surprise. I don't usually think of a hotel restaurant as anything special, but the food (the lamb pasta in particular) was fantastic. The waiter informed us that the menu had recently changed.

The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Parking is expensive, but that's Chicago for you. The self parking doesn't allow in and out privileges so if you're needing you car to tour the area like we did, valet is the only way to go. It cost us over $50 for the night to park, but they had our car ready for us in two minutes.

I was concerned with this hotel that I would hear the planes from my room, but I never heard a single one. In fact I could hear more from the room next to mine than I could hear from outside.

The nearby food options are slim. They seem to have two nice restaurants in the hotel, but they were too expensive for our tastes. You're better off going somewhere else, but it will require you to drive given the hotel location within the airport.

One little thing that bothered me is that the room fridge was in fact a minibar. You need a key to get into it and it is full beverages that they will no doubt charge you for if you consume. I'm sure this is of interest to others, but we would have preferred an empty fridge.

My stay at the Chicago Ohare Hilton was very good in some respects and fair in others. The room was comfortable. The heating system or vent rattled quite a bit and kept me awake the first of a two might stay. The hotel contacted me and requested to move me to another room due to a water pipe issue. That turned out for the better. The hotel front desk service was a little slow. At times, when you approach the desk, there was no associate. The hotel is aged and could use updates in some areas. About pricing, there should be one dining option with a lower cost. The two that are available do not allow enough of a difference on cost. Just my 2 cents.

Would really love to see you guys update this hotel soon.
No arguing that this hotel is well past its prime with it's outdated lobby, hallways and room decor.

Also disappointed to discover that the room service's Late Night Menu began an hour prior to what was stated on the menu. While not upset about the early switch, the Late Night Menu unfortunately did not have any vegetarian options, prompting me to order off-site from a local business.

Fantastic place to stay right at O'Hare airport. A couple places to eat inside, pool, and fitness center pretty much covers all the basics. The parking is expensive of course, but the hotel itself was actually rather reasonable and super convenient. Stayed two nights, took a day trip to Navy Pier before flying out, and had a great experience overall. Highly recommend.

Had a meeting at the Hotel. Service was very good, however I was saddened because when I traveled frequently, this Hilton treated me very well, I even had my own mailbox. After being a loyal HHonors member for over 25 years, my privileges were stripped. So much for loyalty.

Exactly in front of the airport and for this reason, in case of coincidental delay or loss, it is of extreme comfort. I found myself very well, very quiet although very large and also busy for work.

An ideal location before taking off or just after a flight.
The hotel is very well located and provides quick access to all terminals at the airport.
The rooms are spacious and the staff pleasant, I keep a good memory of my stays at this hotel.

They have thermostats on wall just for decoration. It would not work, not even the fan option. Called hotel services they state temperature cannot be lowered. It was 71 degrees in room. That is extremely uncomfortable for me. They suggested I open the window a little. The "window" is floor to ceiling and the whole bottom half opens. Wide enough for someone to fall out. I had my 1 year old granddaughter with me so not sure why the staff would reccomend something obviously unsafe? For the price, I would expect to at least be comfortable and I was far from being comfortable in that room.

Perfect access from airport Arrivals, very easy and well indicated , likewise from public transport if spending time in the city.
Very poor service at front desk, no mention that minibar is locked and not even a water bottle is is welcoming you in the room, all locked , its really not the feel for a 4* welcome, call front desk and it takes a while to accept to send the key directly to your room.rather than having you come down again. Also no mention of wifi details so you think it's gonna be simple but no , the HiltonHonors members connection doesn't work and you need to call the operator to get a code and use another network. Breakfast itself just standard and the venue has a feel of simple diner with loud noise of cleaning tables, really not a smile to the customer. I feel like the whole social drama of America is visible in this hotel staff no hope just working like dogs and triple jobs quite sad reality

I get to my FIRST room, and it's a freezing cold with the heat not working. I'm told that the entire building is on "cool" despite it being only 65 degrees outside. I'm delivered a space heater. After getting the room warm, I tried to take a shower. For some reason I was put in a handicapped room, and after figuring out the confusing shower setup the water comes out rusty and the shower head leaks so bad it was impossible to use. I asked for a new room and was again given a handicapped room with a confusing shower. Having had enough, I called and asked for yet ANOTHER room, specifically requesting one with a good shower. I continued to carry around the space heater from one freezing room to another. The final room I was given has such bad water pressure I was barely able to get the shampoo out of my hair. Worst Hilton experience of my life. I understand things are tough and staff is short. Not sure why that means a customer should repeatedly be put in the worst rooms in the building when there are practically no guests here. This Hilton needs new management.

I'm giving this hotel an average rating. I was an overnight guest at the Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport location for a short one night stay. When we arrived around 8pm, we were promptly and courteously helped by the front desk staff. After arriving to my room and confirming with the housekeeper that it smelled like cigarette smoke, I returned to the front desk to ask for help. Again, the front desk staff was quick and efficient with helping solve my problem. The room I was given next was neat and tidy. The ambience of the room is very standard. Nothing about the dated decor or average room amenities really wowed me until I opened the room service menu and saw the $30 bowl of spaghetti. That wowed me in a bad way. The room service prices in this hotel are absurdly high, so I ended up ordering dinner via delivery from a nearby restaurant. Next, a few trivial opinions on things about the room. Maybe others will disagree, but I personally don't care for when a hotel room has a king or queen sized bed and the pillows are tiny and not long enough to span the bed. The pillows in my room were very small and although I usually only use one or two pillows,I wound up using three. The second bummer was the shower pressure. I was about halfway up the building and the shower water pressure was really disappointing. My shower took a little longer to make sure I was able to effectively rinse because of this. The other frustration was the walkability. The hotel is located directly across from the airport. Therefore, the only walkable food and shopping is located in the airport. There is a small can downstairs and room service, but prices are astronomical. Truly taking advantage of the monopoly of options. Bonus points are that the hotel is an extremely short walk from the airport terminals. This was the main reason I stayed here. You don't even have to walk outside if you go downstairs in the airport. But if you do, you're only outside for a maximum of a three minute walk. Also, I didn't use it, but the hotel gym looked impressive. There was a pool and several machines being used by hotel guests, and there was still plenty of room left in the gym. Sometimes the hotel gyms can seem small and crowded, but this was not one of them. The front desk staff was very friendly and although that should be expected in the hospitality industry, unfortunately that isn't always the case. However, all there desk agents I spoke to were courteous, efficient, and had professional, clean appearances. Overall, the hotel isn't anything incredible, but it is extremely convenient if you have an early airport departure or you just want to be close to the airport for any other reason.

I stayed 10/26 and the bell desk took down that I needed a 6am shuttle to the airport on 10/27 a.m. I came down prior to 6am to get my bill and asked the clerk where the shuttle was. She called to find out that it was gone and would not return for approx. 20 minutes. I was informed that I can walk if I do not want to wait? No one at the bell desk at 6am where they took my info for the shuttley the night before. My husband and I counted 9 people walk after seeing there was no shuttle. At 6:30 am another employeecame on staff and a couple with a wheel chair asked him to call them a cab to get them to the airport since there was still no shuttle. He ask us if we were also going to the airport and asked all 4 of us to follow him as he left us out to the other shuttle sitting idle out front of the hotel? Loaded us in and drove us to the airport. We almost missed our flight because we believed there was a shuttle at 6am to the airport??? I am a Hilton Honors member and this was a big disappointment for such a hotel like Hilton!!Marriott Bonvoy next trip to Chicago Ohare!

As they say location is everything and this Hilton gets that damn right. Right next to the airport with easy access, you can walk under the holder to terminals. All my visits here have been if I had to catch an early morning flight or due to Ohare's infamous weather.

It's a large property, so there is so much activity all around. If you are on the higher floors you get a nice view of the airfield.

This is more like a 2 star. But I stayed here and can only say that they have good soap. The faucet was broken and the bed mediocre. When I informed the front desk, they told me it was my responsibility to inform them sooner to 'make it right' like several of their signs state. They need lower reviews to bring the rest of the hotel up to par with their soap. They do include several amenities. No free breakfast though. Even the cheapest I've been to offer at least a bagel or a muffin and some yogurt. Cmon Hilton. FYI - parking is ridiculous because it's an airport. Expected, but FYI because of the cost increase for a mediocre hotel.

Yes it's a Hilton but in name only. This is the hotel you stay at when you're forced to spend the night at the airport. ORD is known for flight delays both in and out. We found ourselves with a lobby full of people that missed their last connecting flight of the night. Hungry people! Knowing this I don't understand why the hotel closes room service at 11pm. Have a heart! If you don't want to do a limited 24 hour service how about staying open till at least midnight. The room was just ok but the staff is amazing.

The hotel room doesn't have a microwave. The valet parking is way overpriced. The breakfast is $33 and $22 dollars per person. Everywhere I turned I had to pay extra and the hotel reservation wasn't cheap either. Never, ever again will I reserve a hotel room here. Hilton/ Chicago needs to get it together.

The location is very convenient next to terminals. It takes a 5 minute walk underground. However the hotel itself was not touched for years which is reflected in its outdated decor from 80s and poor amenities. Regular pricing at $280 per room is steep, but the real gem starts during cancellations as they go up to $400+ per night. It is not adequate to the product offering, however the location cannot be matched.

I stopped into the dining room the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to eat after I missed a flight. I woke up the next morning with a call from my credit card company about fraudulent charges. The only place I used my credit card in Chicago before my family picked me up was in that dining room. My waiter or someone on the wait staff stole my credit card information and went on a spending spree, using it at gas stations, a bakery, parking meters and more. I will NEVER spend another dime at this hotel and I will tell everyone I know about how the staff here can not be trusted.
