O'Hare Hilton Hotel Review

The room was nice but overpriced but I guess you pay for the convenience of being close to the airport.

Was only here for a very short stay but, extremely convenient to ord for many obvious reasons and friendly staff. Rooms were clean but the one and only issue with my room was that the bathtub drain was partially clogged. Nothing that's unfixable but it's a slight oversight to mention.

Decently nice hotel, and convenient, but they charge for WiFi. No two star hotel, or three star hotel charges for WiFi, it's unacceptable that a four star hotel would. In this day, it's a utility, like going to a hotel room without electricity.

There was a $23 per day gym fee, which doesn't make much sense to pay, when just staying overnight. Other than that the room was clean, service was good.

Room is adequate but in smaller side sizewise. Diamond breakfast is continental only and $10 surcharge for the privilege of bacon and eggs. Not very impressed but the location is unbeatable. Long corridor so if you come from United flight you arebwtter to choose room in low numbers near west lifts and from American flight choose room in high numbers near east lifts.

Had our flight cancelled and had to stay for the night. Although the hotel is not terrible, it needs a lot of work for its price. WiFi didn't work at all during our stay. All services were closed at 11pm when we arrived. Service was kind but painfully slow.

Friendly and helpful staff. Can't get a better location for those trips with an unexpected delay and layover. Walking to the terminal via underground is a great design...thanks to whoever thought of that.

Practicality. A three-minute walk from Chicago International Airport allowed the guest to wait for his flight with great ease.

Hilton O'Hare was a nice and comforting experience, though the restaurant/bar was a bit overpriced for what was served.

This hotel is extremely overpriced for what it provides. The rooms need to be completely redone. The only things that it has going for it are the fitness center and its location.

Very convenient to airport. Restaurant was a bit overpriced for the meal. I disliked that the server did not indicate that the side salad was a $9 additional charge. Overall if you are stuck with less than 12-13 hours at O'hare or have to be there early morning it is worth it.

Comfortable room, good staff and of course great access to the O'Hare airport. Sound level was good especially considering the hotel was next to an airport. Didn't utilize the fitness center, but it looked nice from the outside. Only complaint is the price. The only major benefit was proximity to the airport. Given my situation I had to shell out the money for the room. But for the price I expected a lot more amenities.

A supremely overpriced "luxury" hotel that offers far fewer amenities than a Quality Inn or Holiday Inn does at less than half the price. The only positive to this hotel is the location close to the airport but other than that, I'd suggest going to a far cheaper (and likely more comfortable hotel). The only time you should stay at a place that overcharges so much is if someone else is paying.

Stuck at O'Hare, enquired about a room. $267 for a single room overnight. Price gouging desperate travellers. I left.

I enjoy flying into O'Hare every once in a while it's been a while my airport is the DFW airport but Chicago still feels like home and they sell terrific Chicago food inside the airport the airport itself is very clean and the people there have always treated me very friendly definitely a good place for such a large airport it's very stress-free

It is a super bad place. The employees are very rude and do not charge you what it is. They leave you with other charges that do not even grab one

The only benefit of this hotel is its location. Try to avoid if possible. Room is outdated, food is pretty bad, climatization is not great.

Not the most modern hotel, but you can't beat the location for flying out of ORD.

Very convenient for terminals 1 and 2 within walking distance.

Standard Hilton hotel. It's best feature is that you can walk from the terminals in ORD and not have to wait for a shuttle. Also had a massive gym.

Too big. Everything is so spaced out and it's difficult to find where you need to go. Well maintained, clean and plenty of places to eat

Based on the room alone, I would give 3/5 star at best. Nothing special, not horrible but not the best... Not worth the money nor the convenience because staff is so rude. More specifically - the valet staff. I've never encountered someone who demanded a $15 tip and he wasn't afraid to ask for it (I gave him a $5 bill and he said, and I quote, "make it 15"). A tip is not mandatory? Creating a scene in front of the hotel, which my car was already parked in the front.... so realistically, its not even like he had to go get my car. He was rude and aggressive, and being a female, he made me feel so uncomfortable and scared. Based on that encounter alone I would never go back to this hotel.

Nice rooms, pretty comfortable place. The staff were helpful and friendly when we were checking in after having missed our connecting flight due to delays. If I had to stress about getting home again, I'd do it at the Hilton.

Stayed for the convenience of a walk to my flight tomorrow morning. Great location. Room service and dining are outrageously expensive. Must be satellite TV service, because it went out for 30 minutes during a heavy rain. Ice machine closest to my room does not work. Internet is horribly slow. This is a BIG hotel, but, NO maps of where services are or how to get to the airport terminals ANYWHERE....what a joke. The room is decent, and the view of the runways/terminal is great if you're an airplane fan. For what's supposed to be a top-notch hotel experience....not so much.

Update about 90 minutes later, Internet has gotten worse, went from 4.5Mb to 0.9Mb. I'm trying to get work done and can't. I give up. This place sucks.

Stayed here last minute when I missed a connection from a delayed flight. Pretty good. Would stay again

Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were okay but were warm and since it was chilly outside the heating system was on. I had to request a fan or have the window open. There was no fridge in the room but for $30 you can rent one.

They have comfy beds but the rooms need a refrigerator!!

Got such in Chicago because of a missed flight from a late connection. United put me up in the hotel for the night. The hotel staff made this situation as good as it can be. After a prompt check in they asked about and toiletry needs as well as provided free water. Check out was also a breeze.

We stood in the check in line for over 30 minutes because they only had 2 people checking in guests. We didn't have enough "points " to be a priority guest. How many points do you get for being a service connected disabled Veteran? To make matters worse, we were given the wrong room. We dealt with it because I didn't want to stand in line again. This morning the shuttle driver couldn't get the bus in gear. Was this worth almost $400.....I don't think so.

Nice rooms, but the remodel made it difficult to find a drink after being stuck during a snowstorm.

Having just gone through a 3 hour drive, 2+ hours in airport customs, 1 hour waiting for our departure time, and then having a 3+ hour flight to Chicago me and my partner were very tired. We assumed like most other hotels we would have to wait until much later in the day to allowed into our room; we arrived at the Hilton around 8am. Thankfully this hotel allows you to reschedule and enter a clean room as soon as you sign in at the help desk for a modest charge of 25$, which was great as we both really needed some sleep.

The rooms were nice and clean, the view from our windows was great, the staff were very helpful, and the location was very convenient. If I ever return to Chicago I will definitely be staying at this Hilton again.

Needs updating. Old and dated and a lobby area with seating would be great.

In my opinion overpriced (>>300usd), small outdated rooms, loud (bad sound insulation internally and externally), room service slow and pricey for very little choice (and hadn't even cleared the tray outside my room when I left the next morning), diamond member breakfast includes only cold items (???), no bottled water in my room... and don't get me started on the WiFi, which made me buy a roaming package of my mobile provider because it was so slow and inconsistent...
Convenient for sure, but too little focus on customer satisfaction...

Not what I expect from a 4 star hotel. Rooms are dated, Wifi is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Fitness center is charged extra, ... Staff was friendly though.

The people at the airport were really friendly, it's not hard to get to where you're going and most of the airport's climate control (aka heating / ac) is usually pretty okay, i would bring a jacket or something just in case though.

This hotel is perfect for those needing to stay overnight to make a connection. The staff is friendly, there are a variety of eating options, like a sports bar, Italian restaurant, an old-timey saloon with live music and a convenience store. The beds are comfortable. I came home and bought a feather pillow because their pillows were so nice.

booked a room for 280 USD;
3 out of 11 checkin counters operational;
waited 3 hours for checkin;
checked in at 23:00;
flight out of ORD 7 AM next day;

Great location within walking distance of the airport. Restaurant and bar are good. However, the food and drink are very expensive. The gym downstairs is outstanding with free weights, strength machines, aerobic training, and a sauna. The rooms are quiet and comfortable with nice views of the airport.

Had great service, especially in the restaurant. Wait staff remembers us from previous visits. Bell staff very helpful, as was the shuttle bus driver.

The health club was clean and the staff wad courteous. I was able to shower and hey cleaned up after an overnight layover.

Awesome location, very convenient for quick travel in and out of Chicago.

Really nice suite! Bed was so comfortable. Room service was fast & really good! Friendly staff. Conveniently located across from the airport.

My flights are consistently delayed when I have a layover in Chicago.

I liked it a lot. Very comfortable rooms with a very well attended reception for its passengers. The best of everything that is inside the Airport, therefore, in case of being as passengers in transit to board next flights and not having to leave the airport is very good.

Wow I just got moved to a king's suite. No idea why but this place is amazing
