We have a group of 44, there website said we would receive a welcome party for the group but they did not come through

Omg!! Such a beautiful resort! I was treated like royalty the minute I arrived. It started with a nice cold towel and refreshments. Check in was a breeze! The entire staff was very nice and friendly. The resort and beach is very clean and well maintained. There is something to do there for every age group. The food and drinks were very good as well. Also, when they said it's all inclusive, they really meant it. If your a heavy drinker, you should upgrade to the preferred club to get premium drinks. I didn't because I was good with my daiquiris and Caribbean drinks. I will definitely be back. Highly Recommended!

Just extraordinary ... We were a little afraid of falling on a tourist factory ... But the place is so well arranged and thought that the feeling of fear was quickly replaced by appeasement .. Everything is done to calm and rest. The buffets of the "carnival" are huge and very varied ... The rooms are beautiful and spacious ... The staff is always smiling and very benevolent .. The site is very beautiful and very well maintained .. The proximity of the beach is great .. A swim in the pool and hop 200m, a dip in the ocean at 29 * ... As everywhere in the world, the war of sunbeds reigns supreme. It is forbidden to reserve the deckchairs in the morning. We have followed the rule we have at the beginning. But we had no free sunbed. In the morning, when jogging on the beach at 6 o'clock, we deposited with great shame, and towels, and we spent the day well in the shade .. There must be some tolerance ... the trade winds are not annoying, but on the contrary. They bring freshness. Be sure to take the rooms near the pool and lobby .. There are rooms at the main entrance. They are quite far from the center of the establishment ... To summarize: we will come back next year ..

What a beautiful resort!! We loved everything about the place. Friendly staff and great food options.

Good resort in Bavaro beach with three very well differentiated areas, several restaurants and bars and good rooms at different prices.
The best: the food, the pool, the entertainment and the service.
The worst: Thematic restaurants leave much to be desired. The best of them is the anerican.
Special review to the entertainers: archangel, omega, red bull, baby face, beyonce, mini ..... good job.

It is the second time I come and nothing compared to the previous year ... The fatal management, they do not play music on the beach, they do not play bachata in the pool, only music for Americans, they end the sow very early
They have half of the hotel closed because they are under construction and they do not tell you before booking ... Qeriams will return in November and I do not think it will be to this same hotel but things change !!!

We just returned from a week holiday at NOW Laramar Punta Cana. It was our first experience with the NOW resort groups and was overall positive. The resort is spread out over a large area which involves lots of walking but it never seemed congested. The entertainment in the evenings was very good: Circus, men's tenor group and little children from the day camp performing. The food was good, we did the Japanese which was a terrific experience, sat with a random group of people and shared lots of laughs while the chef entertained us. The steak house was a bit disappointing , I got the ribeye steak but it was very thin and tough. The room was clean, beds very comfortable, typical few English television stations however this wasn't a major minus as we didn't watch much television. The bar served up excellent drinks, staff in all areas of the resort were polite, helpful and often entertaining, like the server in the buffet restaurant who whistled like a bird. The Cafe was a plus as we enjoyed mid day tea or coffee. Air Transat representative was informative and available. The beach was disappointing as the lounges were broken, worn material left the frame exposed and quite uncomfortable. Would I recommend NOW, yes I would but suggest you get yourself seated around the pool in the better chaise lounge.

I made a reservation for two rooms with double beds. Got there on time for the check in and had to wait over 1.5 hours to get to our rooms because they didn t get them right. The person that helped us in the front desk was unable to explain what was really happening. When we finally get to our rooms, everything was disconnected or damaged, somehow. The keys wouldn t work at all either, almost as if those rooms hadn t been used in a long time! Not impressed by the food either, could be better.

The place was beautiful, food was okay. Didnt like all the pressure to join the violence group!!!

My biggest complaint was the smell of the rooms. I have bad allergies and the rooms here triggered them. My eyes started watering the moment I stepped into the first room they showed us. I said no way... Later in our stay, dirty I'm assuming toilet water from the room upstairs was running through one of the fixtures in the ceiling into our tub. The staff assessed the issue upstairs, but never bothered to come back and clean our room or offer to move us again. So we spent that night with a tub of dirty toilet water residue on our room. The wait staff and food were terrific though. They kept the beech clean and have lots of activities. I didn't go here for the room, but it's too bad I felt like I needed to avoid it. Some of the other people we were with didn't seem to think the rooms were so bad. Maybe I was just unlucky. I wouldn't pick this place again though.

I just got home from Now Larimar yesterday & we had a fabulous time. We were a group
Of 8 & everyone had a great experience. The rooms were clean & spacious. Enrique & Antonio Banderas as the Tortuga pool bar were wonderful. They always made us feel special & the kids loved the virgin drinks they made for them as well. The wait staff at the pool & beach were fantastic as well.

The entertainment team was great. From Baby Face to Superman to Little Baby, they got us up dancing & always stopped to talk to us if they saw us during the day.

We went to the Bluewater Grill & everyone was very happy with their dinner. The service there was not as great, but we really enjoyed it. The only other restaurant we went to was Spice for Teppanyaki. We celebrated my husbands birthday & they brought out a cake & sang to him. The food was really good & the kids really enjoyed the table side cooking.

Most of our meals we went to Carnival Buffett where we had Modesto as our waiter every day. He was the best. So friendly & welcoming & always knew exactly what we needed everyday. The food at Carnival was great, there was something for everyone. Every night was a different theme, but they still had some of our favorite staples as well.

Overall we had a fantastic vacation. The entire staff could not do enough for us the entire week. The beach was beautiful with plenty of chairs & shady areas. The pool also had plenty of chairs. My son went paddle Boarding twice & Kayaking once & he loved it.

We also loved the turn down service every night, it was a nice touch. Anna Maria was pleasant & got us anything we needed at night.

This was such a great vacation, we would recommend this resort to anyone.

Nice hotel, clean, the staff is very helpful. A la carte restaurant without reservation except the Japanese. Expectations of 45 to 60 minutes are required. to have a table for 4.

Don't like it at all. More like a tourist trap money money money is all they want. Give me a break I'm there to relax .Don't get me wrong the food is good and the place looks nice but i can cook so that's not that big of a deal for me. Will NEVER go there again. There was a used bandaid in the shower when we got there.

Restaurants were wonderful, great choice of food throughout. Rooms were fabulous, spacious with very comfortable beds, turn down service was beautiful and daily top up of drinks in fridge. Grounds are very well maintained, pools are superb. We loved the pool side and beach service, beach was daily maintained. Our stay was spectacular. Thankyou to everyone we met, everyone who assisted us and everyone at now larimar for making an outstanding memory. We do hope to see you again

Personalized treatment, beautiful design, excellent gastronomy.

Our week at the resort was wonderful. The grounds, rooms, pools and other common areas were always clean and well-maintained.
The activities and different options for entertainment were great. We loved the activities at the pool especially aerobics. The theater was so impressive! The performers were incredible -- loved all the dancers!!! The only problem was no teen club.
The food and restaurant choices lived up to our expectations, especially the breakfast buffet.
But the best part was by far the staff!!! Thank you Capiichino, Omega, Baby Face and Mini Baby!!! We miss you already!

Put your stuff in the safe. We had 2 bottles of mamajuana on top of the fridge. One was missing. The only people that came in the room beside ourselves, were the maids and the guy that restocks the fridge with beverages. The food and drinks were good.

Just got back from here and I would go back in a second! Was very nervous with everything going on but the staff made us feel very welcomed and safe. The food was great and our room were perfect. Place was beautiful but the entertainment at night and the staff made our experience wonderful! Shoutout to Red Bull and Peleche these two checked on us all the time, made sure we had fun, and were so genuine! They were great! Definitely want to go back! -TEXAS

In general it does not have many attractions. A friendly staff, but some only for tips, already on your last day they do not serve you the same.

Pushy sales people trying to sell time shares. Resort was ok and food was good. The staff were quite nice helping us deal with a bad burn. I probably would not go back. Too many places that have better reviews.

Starting with positives:
Super clean / staff are non stop cleaning hallways , rooms and all areas.
They stuff your room at evenings with towel or anything you need.
Very friendly staff and tour operators.
Nice landscaping.
Nice to have quiet pool in different side of hotel with good fresh bbq items.
Nice coffee shop and good variety of drinks.
Good activities.

Negatives:
Mainly food , although there re lots of varieties but with exception of breakfast, we hardly found good food to our taste there and me and my son got a terrible stomach upset.
We didn t feel food is as fresh with exception of quiet pool area where they serve nice bbq items.
Few restaurants smell mold.
Rooms were not to our expectations.
I d rate 3 1/2 star.

My family and I had a great stay. Antonio and Gabriel at the swim up bar took great care of us all week and were very entertaining. Nigol at the buffet offered better service than anyone else there.
It's a smaller resort so it misses some things but the rooms were clean and because of these 3 gentlemen and the Manager, we would definitely make Now Larimar a consideration for our future holidays.

I went in Dec. 2019 and had gone in 2013 .. we really stayed at the NH and they gave us the option to pay a daypass in NL. Excellent!! The renovation was great

The service is terrible, mainly in the restaurants, it does not go with what it costs.

Check in professional and extremely courteous. Great room, Housekeeper room 1408 AMAZING!
Host Yomaira and Desiree we re Jewels, they displayed excellence in every single act. The Passion and Genuine Interests in people, AMAZING !
The Now Entertainment Team, they were outstanding they demonstrated what team work could be Motivating and Fun!

Food and drinks at Now Larimar are not good!
Unless you want to pay to upgrade to preferred club once you get to the resort, you will have to eat at the buffet. The food is awful. The ahibachi grill is the only decent meal we had the entire stay, you have to make reservations and none were available the first 2 nights of our stay.
Constantly bombarded at pool by guys trying to sell parasailing, jetski, dolphin excursions. Would ask us maybe every 15 minutes, even if in the pool.
We will not be visiting again!
We are a family and requested adjoining rooms for our children, which the front desk would not give us.
The $200 credit vouchers they give you is just a ploy to get you to a timeshare tour.
Not at all happy with the experience at Now Larimar.

Great place if you enjoy jackhammers and chainsaws 20' from the main pool ... resort is under renovation and after contacting the the resort through Instagram they would not respond to our concerns ... too bad as they try hard to deliver an excellent experience then all for nothing by not caring about the noise that the contractor makes they hired to do the work. Not what you expect from AM Resorts ... maybe just getting too big to deliver what they built their company on anymore ...

I would just like people to be aware and LOCK YOUR MONEY UP! I had money stolen from my bag after housekeeping serviced the room. My family who was in the room next to me also had money stolen!!

Sheets didn't fit the bed. Constant Rattling in the HVAC. Wine was watered down. Poor service overall. Staff didn't honor advertised promotions. The "tropical" view was of someones backyard. Power would go out if we charged too many items at once. I could go on...

Drinks were good...Pool was fun..Food was awful. I'm not a very picky person and even I was disappointed with the food. Our entire group couldn't wait to get home to eat. Almost everyone in our group of 30+ got sick at least one day. The entire resort had a gross smell and the food had the same weird taste. The sports bar smelled so awful. It was below the night club that had a pool and you could actually see black mold growing on the walls. Most people would walk in and walk right out of the sports bar. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.
