Novotel Zürich Airport Review

Had a late check in (around 1 AM) and were told that our family room (for 4 people) had been upgraded to an executive suite and only good for two people. Apparently the Accor website did not properly pass the number of people to hotel reception. First night I had to sleep on floor! very painful. but the night after they gave us a family room with 4 beds and things went better. Good breakfast with lots of options. comfortable beds. Fridge loaded with some drinks (some included some for fee). Friendly staff who spoke English, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

Hotel is OK, but max. to be rated as a 3 star hotel.

The airport is conveniently connected by tram and costs a bit less than in the city of Zurich. Breakfast is a very basic continental breakfast.

Very comfortable hotel. Good attention. We arrived 4 in the morning and were received in a very good way. Comfortable beds and a spectacular bathroom. Rich breakfast included.

Rooms are okay. Service can be optimized.
Lunch buffet at noon is very expensive and the price / performance ratio is absolutely not.
The staff is sometimes quite rude.

Rooms on "executive floor" surprisingly small and old

Terrible tired rooms with paper thin walls. Adjoining rooms have zero soundproofing you can hear every detail of what is happening in the room next door not to forget the whole room vibrates when rooms next to up open and close their hotel room doors. Breakfast is average - close to the airport however the shuttle is only every 30 minutes, not ideal. If you do do stay here make sure you ask for a room that is not adjoining and not near the lift. Staff were reasonably nice.

No breakfast in Coronatime, but the rest is more than ok!!!

Rooms were very small for three adults. Even though the rooms were listed as non-smoking there was a pungent smell of smoke from the rooms. We brought this issue up with the front desk and they did not do anything about it. The sink and the shower were clogged up and the water flow was next to nothing and again this issue was brought up with the front desk and they were very defensive and non-apologetic about the issue. The hotel charges a lot for parking if you have a vehicle.

Very nice and comfortable hotel and very nice and friendly staf

Very poor first impression. The hotel infrastructure seems very tired, the guest services information on the aged TV or via the internet not working (no information elsewhere...not even a menu) safe not working & it took an hour to get onto the internet on my PC. Also, the airport shuttle bus is only hourly during the day.... not great for an airport hotel!

The hotel convinces with the usual Novotel standard. Bed is comfortable ...

Clean nice room, although some items didn't work correctly (shower, water heater, heating) which indicates a somewhat negligent roomkeeping. (As every hotel manager knows, the details makes the difference.)

The breakfast buffet however was spectacular!

Great hotel, nice services, friendly staff, but bedroom was noisy due to the buses heating up their engines in the internal parking lot.

The hotel is like usual 4 star hotel, with all the facilities available 24 x 7, the food and variety of cuisine is worth appreciating.

Worst zurich novotel airport messed. Never check in here.. Better look for other hotels than zurich novotel. Bern novotel is excellent

Excellent hospitality, prompt service, spacious and clean rooms

One of the worst with respect to customer service and attitude. It completely shuttered everything we assumed about the swiss. I should say that the hotel was flooded with airline passengers whose flights were canceled because of the weather. However they did not treat us nicely, they did not provide consistant answers to our questions (I.e., what time does the shuttle leave?). They told us to go back to the airport to get another voucher (the room they gave us did not have enough beds) when we had no way getting there and back in a reasonable time after standing in line the whole day. All that, when they knew they had no rooms left!!!
Hoever, the buffet dinner was nice, and the place seems to be nice.

It is convenient from airport to shuttle. Breakfast is also good, so it is good to use with children.

Good Hotel. Rooms are good enough. Breakfast is also okay.Prices are average as every hotel is expensive in Switzerland. Cheaper ones can be found like ibis but there rooms are very small. Connectivity is too good. Tram station is just outside the hotel.

Hotel was good but first day wifi was not working because of that I missed so many things otherwise rest was pirty ok ohh breakfast was good.

Very elegant, great breakfast, professional and helpful staff. The only thing, it took alittle long for earm water to start in the shower.

Nice clean rooms, nice staff and good location to the airport. Public transport can also be reached quickly to get into the somewhat distant city.

Lovely, wonderful, clean, close to the airport, where the restaurant is under and its taste is reasonable, the price is reasonable and there is a screen for trips to near the airport

I found myself very well and at a reasonable price.

Pretty nice hotel with a courteous staff. The airport is a 5 minute drive from the airport and they even offer a free shuttle.

The underground car park is not easy to drive depending on the car and relatively expensive. Unfortunately, no free parking for hotel guests?

Airport shuttle from airport is free to airport CHf 4.00, pretty disappointing, considering what you pay for the night.

A plus for the restaurant staff for breakfast. Many attentions and kindness

Nice hotel. Would be even nicer if it had an iron and board in the rooms, instead of a shared solution
