Novotel Zürich Airport Review

Ok structure! Room was clean and big enough. Food was average.

Excellent location for the airport. Morning breakfast buffet has lots of good selections.

Novotel
Zurich Airport is not only a boiled water boiler, but also a bottled water. The service of the counter is professional and efficient. It is only the condition of the hotel room. The hot water in the bath is not very stable. There is a sauna and gym in the upper floor of the hotel. There are a lot of sockets in the room, breakfast may be more Indian guests, there are Indian curries available. However, there may be a lot of guests, and the maintenance of the equipment needs to be strengthened.

Nice rooms for a small family. Stayed there in May 2012. Good location.

Nice staff, ok room for this chain. Bar and restaurant of good quality. Underground or air parking right in front of the hotel, paying. Note a nice space for children, with TV, some games, table football and an interactive table.

The fast check out is a great feature (simply drop your key in the check out box and you're hood to go). Also the keys come with a personalized card, with the bearer's name.

We stayed here with our three kids as a pitstop on our way from Germany to Tuscany. Great parking area and close to the highway. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Our kids really enjoyed the play corner in the foyer. The food from the restaurant was good and the staff both in the restaurant, at the breakfast buffet and the check-in counter was very friendly. I think the breakfast buffet was just ok. It lacked a little vegetables in my opinion but otherwise ok. Coffee was good

Good price, with friendly helpful staff.
Rating is due to state of rooms hallways. Both badly in need of repair and updating. Needs paint and woodwork fixed.

Worn-out overall. Bathroom is smelly. Personnel is slow. Worst Novotel I ever stayed at. Sad, very sad.

Awesome hotel.Rooms were very clean and good.Food was very good.Sona bath is also available.There is also a separate room for children to play. Very near to tram so transportation is very easy. Overall a great hotel.

Hotel need refreshing. Maybe it had it's prior time in a past but I wouldn't bring my girlfriend here. as a business stay it's ok but I expected a lot more. Breakfast was as room service only and it was just ok, nothing special. Also they didn't get breakfast traces until 21:00, so they were on a floor for a whole day emitting smell.

It has good location though. It's placed 10 mins from airport by tram and 20 mins from Zurich centre. The tram station is right in front of the hotel.

Compared to other Novatels a big disappointment. Poor room & bed. Average restaurant.

The rooms are clean but the furnitures and style are quite old. The TV didn't work. The restaurant offer a nice menu (not a great choice but the quality of the food is good). The location is perfect if you need to sleep in Zurich between 2 planes.

The most disgusting hotel that I have ever been to. Sinks don t drain. Broken shower. Lukewarm water in the shower. The worst part: multiple BLOOD spots, not stains, actual blood on both of the beds in our room. We had to switch rooms late More

Stranded in Zurich and they went out of their way to house us for one night! Well!

Very well situated hotel close to the airport and the city. With the tram on your doorstep you are very fast in different places and places in the area. The rooms are very clean and the staff very friendly .... the Opfiker Park is located within walking distance ...

One of the best hotels in Zurich. The best part that I like is their staff and breakfast spread. Great ambience and close to airport (free airport shuttle to and fro), right next to tram station.

My room had the last guest's empty beer cans and beer & water bottles left on the tables. There was also their old receipts and even their room key holder with their name on it. A pillow was missing from one side of the bed too. Not good housekeeping at all.
They were fully booked so the very friendly receptionist couldn't offer much of a solution (but was very apologetic). Not worth 190CHF of my money.
Sad because I am a very loyal customer.

I prepaid to stay here. When my flight was cancelled they refused to refund my money!! I understand if I just didn t Show up but to have a cancelled flight is not our flault. For an airport hotel to not understand and make allowances it is ridiculous!!!!! I will never book here again! I will post on my Facebook to not book here. I have a lot of relatives that live in Switzerland and will tell them to recommend any hotel but this hotel. I travel all over the world as a CEO and I have never had a hotel refuse to refund under those xirxumstances. Bad business. Bad customer service!!!

Not bad. Convenient to get to from the airport and convenient to get into the city. Tram 10 stop just outside the hotel.

Incredibly noisy guests, banging on doors, calling my room in the middle of the night. Reception did nothing. Avoid!

Good midpoint between airport and city center.
We needed a place to stay overnight before morning flight. Was perfect spot.
Staffing probably needs to be a bit more understanding that they have tourists.

I stayed there because of flight delay and my impression of the place is that it's worn out. The bed sheets were clean, but the whole room had a "not so clean feel" to it. The carpets seems dated and they definitely were very used and full of hair. The bathroom floors were full of hair too - like they didn't even bother to clean them. The shower has a glass curtain which didn't stop the water from getting everywhere in the bathroom because there was no rubber gasket.

Hotel quite close to the airport. Offers a parking package to leave your vehicle during a stay, a pity that this information is not available on the website.

No need to say more about Novotel's standards. Giving five stars mainly breakfast does not distinguish between team FITs, so it is very good. Variety and variety, about 15 kinds of choice. The waiters are more and more diligent, and the closing is particularly timely.

The location is good , ten minute from hotel to The Airport and there are free shatter bus to airport as well. The room is clean and good . It's will be better if have more salad for breakfast.Over all is OK.

The hotel has meanwhile - at constant prices - degenerated to the ditch. Unkempt, run-down and absolutely overpriced. The only exceptions are the event management and a small core workforce in the restaurant, who are desperate, but not very successful against the decline. A compliment and my sympathy. Otherwise, my recommendation is every hostel. Four stars really have nothing here.

Clean, neat and very comfortable. Coffee machine in the room, pull-out desk, TV.

I was having a hard time understanding a late-night hotel. They were responsive by phone and fast and correct in attendance. Good experience.

There are better hotels, with better staff and service - drinks expensive, food is better elsewhere too

It was only a short stay but suited my needs. The room was comfortable even though it was too warm and adjusting the temperature controller didn't help much. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. I was disappointed that the mini bar fridge wasn't cold when I arrived and didn't cool down enough to make its contents appealing.

Novotel is a very good hotel near Airport. Tram stop is right in front of the hotel gate. Direct 20 min tram connectivity to City center/ Zurich HB.

Stay was pleasant. Staff quite helpful too. Only issue with room would be the tv which did not seem to function properly (remote too). Otherwise all was good.

Very good room, great service (kettle in my room was not fixed, but it wasn't an issue for me, very good breakfasts. Good localisation.

We met with friends for drinks after work in the Novotel Bar. My advice to the management would be if you offer cocktails, please make sure that your staff are trained to mix them correctly. In principle I don't mind spending 16 Swiss Francs on a cocktail if I get exactly what I want. My wife's and my cocktails were both tasteless and incorrectly mixed. When I sent mine back, the replacement wasn't much better. Also the staff need some training in customer focus, we wanted to sit inside but they insisted we go outside "because that's where everything is" even though we could see there was a thunderstorm about to start. A few minutes later, they moved us inside when the rain started. Please train your staff to run the place for the customers' pleasure and convenience, rather than only for their own!

Excellent hotel close to the airport with a shuttle that collects and returns from there. Good for business trips and short stay.
