Chris was great from start to finish. Very personable, attentive and he made sure we got into the car we wanted at the right price and with the right features. We visited the dealership a total of 3 times to get everything worked out and each time he and the rest of the staff were awesome. Of all the places we visited looking at cars, this was our favourite.

Was in for regular maintenance/service on July 29. Had a very pleasant experience dealing with both Nancy and Tho. Had to come in again with a flat tire on July 30. After encountering problems dealing with Kia Roadside Assistance, Nancy took charge and spoke with them and her manager to get a towtruck out to my location. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with over the course of that very stressful 2nd visit. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Professional but friendly.

Worse service ever!! No body returns calls, they ask you for a deposit on the vehicle you're interested in and they take two weeks and still don't let you know if you've been accepted or not. You have to call the salesperson only to find out he's not there anymore, then you speak to the sales manager who tells you to come in and he's not even available because he's not there. Then I call the finance and get told they are still working numbers. After 3 days you still hear nothing! I call back and ask for the finance manager and he says he's going to look into it and get back to me, he doesn't get back to me either. I then go into kia to see what the deal is and the sales manager I spoke to then stands there with a smirk on his face while I'm telling him that the service here is really poor! What an ignorant team of people that work for Kia Both Edmonton.

Attention to the North Edmonton Kia employee who has my blackvue dashcam. I have the rear facing camera that goes with the front facing camera at home. You can have it, because it is really doing nothing for me without the front half of it.

We will never come back to this dealership again. Kris Simmons, Cory Diem, and Bob Aaltonen are all in my opinion unprofessional. Starting with Kris Simmons...he's all sunshine and roses... will promise you the world, but once your paperwork is signed, he is no longer in need of you...he has his commission. My husband asked him for tools to take out our dashcam, it was close to closing time, so he said he would get Service to take it out for us. That was a Thursday evening (Dec 19th,2018), and we went in on the Saturday because the screen on the truck wasn't working, and to ask about the dashcam. He said service hasn't gotten to it yet, and he'll get service to call us about the screen, and our dashcam. We never received a phone call, because he never communicated with service at all.

Onto the Gerneral Manager Cory Diem. My husband phoned him, and he said he had never even heard of what was going on. Well of course he didn't... because Kris doesn't communicate with anyone. Cory told my husband that he would get Kris to phone us back (we are into January now). Surprise of all surprise...no phone call. My husband phones Cory back a week later twice, and no phone call back from Cory. I myself show up at the dealership on the 29th of January, and ask to speak to Cory myself. He came down and spoke to me, he had just finished ordering 300 dashcams for a promotion, and we would be getting a replacement camera...it would take 3 weeks for the cameras to come in, and we set up an appointment to get the screen on the dash fixed. I took the truck to the dealership in February, and they sent me over to City Ford to have it fixed. After I sat there for 1.5 hours while they tried to figure out who was paying for the repair. The dealership paid for it which I appreciate, but that took until March to get the screen fixed. In the meantime...i have not heard from Cory to replace the dashcam he promised. We are now into May.

I email the owner Bob Aaltonen, about the whole situation on March 19, 2018. Have we heard from him? Oh no we have not. For a man who claims to put his customers first, and if there are any problems...please contact him, and he will personally handle the situation himself. The only time we have heard from Bob, or Cory, or Kris is to tell us they want more money from us, because they want to get us into a new vehicle. Stellar group of people. They don't give a crap about the customers, only padding their pockets.

Military personnel: The $500 discount they give isn't worth much...you'll lose worth more value than the discount is worth!!!

Start to finish, the experience at this dealership was first rate. Kris Simons was the best salesperson I have had in all my car buying experiences. The process was quick, painless and I had my new Kia in a very timely fashion. I would highly recommend this dealership for new or used vehicles.

I have dealt with all Kia dealers in Edmonton and sherwood. Kia north edmonton is the worst Kia dealer in Edmonton I have ever dealt with. The salesmen and managers are impolite and not friendly.
First, I called to ask about technical question in optima. I waited for him for three hours to call back. He didn't call back until I contacted them with the website chat.
Second, I called the next day to reach a deal for a 2019 Kia Forte. I talked to someone called Kevin. He spoke in a very impolite tone. He told me "I am not playing games here and I don't want to get my time wasted, so what do you want?" He also asked me to come, and I excused that I am not free to show up and would like to have the deal done as far as he can over the phone. His answer was " Show me and yourself respect and show for the deal." I said no I prefer it that way. He emailed me some deal and that's it.
*Seriously, I don't understand what kind of salesmen speak with such offensive language. It is no wonder that they still have many 2017 cars not sold. It is because this team have no communication skills. I can understand a dealer refuses negotiation, but rudeness is what I don't understand.

i have had the pleasure of dealing with David Edmondson at your dealership. He was one of the most articulate, pleasant and knowledgeable salesman i have ever met. I am still uncertain as to what vehicle i will eventually buy, but if i do choose to buy a Kia, i will most certainly choose Kia North and will be very specific in requesting Mr. Edmondson's services

I bought my vehicle from here, 2013 Kia Optima LX. I have been here for normal service checks and twice with issues. Last I went, I suspected something wrong with my coolant tank. I must say dealing with Amelie is an absolute pleasure. Emails and calls are always answered within reasonable duration. She knows what serving with a smile means. I was pleasantly surprised when I dropped off my car in the morning and received a shining one in the evening. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in a Kia.

I will never buy another Kia. My 2012 Sorento has been through five service recalls including an entire new long block engine. I've had so many problems with the electrics, suspension, and the customer service from this dealership. Getting my engine replaced was a nightmare as they tried to say it wasn't under the recall (it was). When my alternator quit on me, out of the blue, they wanted $1000 to replace it. They told me it was ready so when I came to pick it up, cash in hand, they wouldn't give it to me. Apparently only the sales floor is open Sunday and even though I had cash and could literally see my vehicle, the manager could not help me. This proves that Kia is more concerned about selling new vehicles then servicing their existing customers, and thus lost me as a customer.

Extremely poor customer service. We made an appointment, were pre approved for financing on a vehicle, and were ignored for an hour after arriving. We had another appointment to attend so we mention to their Admin that we would now have to unfortunately leave. She then yelled to an employee named Brittany that we had been waiting for her...and that another employee named Stan was aware that we had arrived and were waiting. I find this bizarre that everyone there seemed to be aware we were there yet we were left to sit and wait until an hour had passed. We already own a Kia and were interested in an additional vehicle but will not be back.

Did not have a pleasant experience at this dealership, quite the contrary. Due to length restrictions, I will condense my experience to a few sentences. Firstly, I left in tears after I felt I had been mistreated by one of their sales reps. He did come over afterwards and offer an apology, so that made me feel a little better. However, I was still in quite a bit of shock that I left a car dealership in tears, and was treated so poorly at an establishment that is supposed to hold customers in the highest regard. Compounding matters, was how I was subsequently treated by members of their management team. In short, it took taking my complaint to Kia Canada Inc, to get a formal apology from the dealership for how I was treated that day. I ended up with two apologies, one that was sincere/genuine from Brian Hickey (dealer principal) who sent an e-mail (even being out of the country at the time), and the other was disingenuous from a member of management. Just when I thought all had been rectified, I was mistreated again by a particular member of their management team because he was unhappy with the fact that I was posting reviews about their dealership on the internet. As a result, I personally wrote a letter to Kia Canada Inc.'s executives to inform them of the latter experience with that particular person and how I was again, mistreated at this dealership (now by management). In conclusion, I will not be purchasing a vehicle from this dealership in my lifetime as a result of how I was so poorly treated by almost everyone I encountered there.

Pushy service and very expensive for stuff you don't even need. They advised they only used fully synthetic oil when they do oil changes, and they state you need an oil change ever 6,000 kms. Fully synthetic oil should easily last twice that.

Exactly the type of car dealership you think of when you think car sales men.
Was super pressured and was told they wanted to make sales after I took a used car for a test run. In financing I had to remind and pressure for everything I was told I would get in the initial sale.
I asked twice if anything was wrong with the car and I was told it was in perfect condition but not even a week of owning it I figured out the drivers window is messed up and the am FM button sticks.
Everyone was polite enough. Just frustrating experience takes the fun out of buying a new car and makes it stressful.

So, I just want to share my experience at North Edmonton Kia. I started on January 28th of this year, from then until this afternoon... I have experienced sexual harassment/assault by a salesmen. I gave the guy two warnings that I wasn t comfortable with the things he said to me or him trying to touch me. I finally spoke up about it, and brought it to the attention of higher management to which I found out ANOTHER female saleswoman was experiencing sexual harassment/assault from the same guy; she went forward and told higher management as well. Within a week, the guy was fired and it has only been one/two weeks since he s been gone. This morning, I was fired because I was not the right fit while I completely understand that it was within the probationary period, I find out that my female coworker was forced to sign an apology letter from the accused and she was given no option but to sign. Turns out, the accused is coming back to work at the dealership after I had been fired. fired on International Women s Day no less

Please share, don t let this dealership get away with the way they treat their employees. This is absolutely insane.

I visited different 6 dealerships over the course of 2 weeks (all different brands) to find the vehicle that best suited me. At North Edmonton Kia the staff I dealt with were friendly, knowledgeable and best of all, not at all pushy. They listened to my answer after asking a question and did their best to fill my needs, not their own. They answered all my questions and were patient with me, allowing me to make my decision in my own time. They even let me take the car for the weekend so I could be sure I was making the right choice. I will be recommending North Edmonton Kia to everyone! And I will always be driving a Kia!

Was lied to multiple times on certified preowned details. Declined extended warranty a day after accepting after finance person falsified what was on the manufacturers warranty then proceeded to find it to be on the bill of sale when finalizing paperwork. So untrustworthy. Luckily it was caught before putting pen to paper. Very untrustworthy and had an awful customer service experience.

Response times were two days at a time and asking them anything was like a burden to them the whole process. Extremely annoying.

I was looking for a used car with a manual transmission, but they were able to get me a 2018 Rio with a 6MT for almost the same price I was going to pay for a used Honda. The only thing I didn't like, was not being able to get an itemized invoice quote, but that was the same with every dealership I talked to

Initially the conversation went ok and I finalized Kia Sorento 2020 after price negotiations. The one part that was confirmed to me was the warranty that I chose for scratch/windshield repair (smart program)could be cancelled any time at no cost or penalty within 30 days.
Once the deal was finalized I called the dealership to get the car ready for pickup and the dealership confirmed the car would be ready to go at 6pm.
This is where the pathetic poor service started. The car was not ready when I reached at 6:15. There were no winter mats installed as promised and the manager said that will be delivered to me next day. During the vehicle walkaround I was shocked to find when the engine hood was opened there were layers of dust on it. It does not end there. When I called after a week to cancel the scratch/windshield repair (Smart program) Insurance I was told I will be charged $180 as there was visor put on the car, however that visor was going to be part of the deal as committed by the salesperson with no strings attached to the Insurance.
This is an example of unprofessional service and miscommitment on part of the dealership and sales staff and I will never recommend this dealership to anyone.
I would advise that anyone buying car from this dealership should get in writing any part of the deal discussed before finalizing as there is no backing to verbal commitment by any sales staff at the dealership.

Stopped in by fluke North Edmonton Kia during their private sale that they had last weekend with my sister... we had just been next door looking at Norden VW, and it looked super busy over at North Edmonton Kia. We decided to check out a Kia because we were getting lots of pressure from the pushy sales manager at NORDEN VW... and I don't like getting pushed!!! So we went right next door. It was a total breath of fresh air the moment we walked in! We dealt with Evan Burow in sales and he WORKED HARD to get us a SMOKING DEAL! He wasn't pushy, he listened to me and my sister, and he's a handsome young man to boot! We now are happy owners of a brand new Kia Rondo! Thanks so much Evan you're excellent, don't change a bit!

My wife and I were looking for a van so we first went to Dodge but we weren't sure there wasn't much for option and the price was fairly high. Then we came to KIA and we met Kris then Darren and both of then were helpful in making the decision and understanding on the vehicle we wanted to get so it simplified the task and we made the choice to go with Sedona Van which has already top of the line reviews. They also help us save maybe close 4k that Dodge company wasn't able to offer. So it made it easier for us to make this choice. As for KIA the car company are made in Korea which is a country that take pride in there work. I know that because my wife is Korean and I have never since a person take my pride in her work. And I observe many Korean people and many of them display the love and kindness of family. I am more glad now in buy KIA from Kris and Darren because they have treated me and my wife like family. To add to my review of last week. Kris had my van washed and buffed by a professional and he told me this is a service for life. And he went out of his way to give me a gift. And he told me about some other benefit like the road side assistance.

I'm getting very frustrated with this dealership. They started calling me 6 months after I bought my car to trade it in and now they call almost monthly. I've asked them to add me to a do not call list but that only lasts a few months. I've spoken to management and then I guess they get new management because the calls start up again. I don't answer calls from their office any more so now their sales reps call me on their cell phones. If you buy a car from this dealership expect to be harassed.

My husband and I came in looking for a used SUV I was interested in and we received the worst customer service I have ever had with any dealership (I would give 0 stars if I could). We were there for an hour and all I wanted to do was test drive one SUV, which I finally got to after 45 minutes.

Carla sat us down and immediately started talking numbers before we even got to test drive it. And the numbers that she was getting from the manager (Darren) was thousands more than what was listed on their website (thankfully I do my research). I had corrected them, then they came back with the wrong numbers again, which, again I corrected them. They apologized and lowered the doc fee because they were embarrassed (direct quote from the manager). Again this is ALL before I had even test drove the vehicle, then when I asked to test drive it they made me fill out a form that asked for my credit card number which I refused to give (I've test drove many vehicles and never once was asked for this). They again apologized blaming it on the owner and said they don't actually require that from me. We would have walked out early on if it wasn't for the fact that I really wanted to test drive the used SUV I was interested in. It's too bad because I loved the vehicle but the experience was so awful that I won't be going back.

Also just as a tip maybe try detailing the vehicle before people test drive it, it might make them be less disgusted. I would understand if you just got it in but I can see that you posted the ad over a week ago.

Google should really create the option of a zero star because this dealership does not deserve even a one star.
I took my 2011 Kia Soul to this dealership because the central lock on the door wasn t working and neither was the remote control. I met with Dan who told me that they needed to run a diagnosis to know what the issue is and that it could take up to 4 hours or more, but that they would only charge me for 2 hours- making me indeed feel like they cared about me and that they were doing me a favour. I had to pay almost $350 just for the diagnosis and they said it would cost me an additional $514 to fix the problem. At that point I decided not to proceed as it was way over the budget I had imagined.
Little did I know that these guys are pure scam artists and very despicable liars- especially the Dan guy. He d told me it could take 4 hours or more for them to diagnose the issue. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I casually asked the girl who did the paperwork with me how long it took to find out the issue and she told me it took less than an hour! And yet they charged me for 2 hours!
In addition to that, I had to take the car to a place for a remote starter to be installed. I asked one of the guys who worked there if he could diagnose and probably fix the issue with the car s locks and without hardly looking at the car, he told me what the issue is and it was exactly what I had been told at this Kia dealership. And yet this man is not a Kia professional! He also told me that it s a common issue with that model of Kia s. How is it possible that it took this guy who is not a Kia professional literally 60 seconds to arrive at the same conclusion that took Kia professionals up to 4 hours to diagnose? Apparently, these liars at the Kia dealership knew exactly what the issue was before they started. I d rather have just paid the $514 to have the issue fixed than paying almost $350 for nothing in the name of diagnosing the problem! They are nothing but liars and cheats who will pull all kinds of stunts to get customers to pay more than they should instead of conducting their business with integrity.
If you don t mind being lied to, cheated or scammed out of your hard earned money, then by all means go to this dealership. Otherwise, stay away from them!!!!!

After having a moderately agitating experience with an associate at a different Kia store, I came to this location with some slight apprehension. Over the years, I have been conditioned to believe that car salespeople are all cast from the same mold, and I, as such, was expecting nothing different when I entered the doors.

This location gave me a rather substantial culture shock. When I entered the showroom looking at a Stinger, I was promptly greeted by an associate named Nemo. Throughout the entirety of my visit, I genuinely believe my personal time was respected. Nemo made sure I knew the pros and cons of the car I was looking at, and instead of mindlessly reciting features out of a brochure, he actually demonstrated each feature to me on each trim level of the vehicle. He went outside, brushed off two cars in -30 and brought each one of them up for me to sit in and compare their features. Afterwards, I was able to take one of them for a test drive. This may seem like a fairly standard thing to be impressed about, but almost every dealer I've ever been to over the years will not let customers test drive their premium vehicles without a deposit, let alone in the winter time. Again, I will say that my time and interest were valued and respected.

When we went back inside, we sat down and started to discuss the numbers. The sales manager, Nathan, presented me with a few different payment options, but the most important part of this entire experience is that ---he did not hide anything---. I asked him to SPECIFICALLY break down the entire payment plan, including where discounts were applied, interest rates, trade-in value, vehicle purchase price, and total cost including taxes. I am still immensely impressed; He already had all of that information, and broke it down for me, right down to the very last cent.
Anyone who has bought a few brand new cars over the years will know that getting this information out of dealers is like pulling teeth. More often than not, dealers will only tell you what your projected biweekly payments are (and when you ask them to convert the payments to monthly, they do it wrong).

As it turned out in my case, I have decided to wait a few months before purchasing a new car to make sure I can balance my budget, but the entire experience I had at this store with Nemo and Nathan has ensured that I will be returning.

It is the first store I have ever been to that, once again, respected my time and information. Even though I did not buy a car today, I WILL be returning.

After spending much time researching I found my New Kia Forte at North Edmonton Kia and the staff there looked after me very well. It was actually my best ever expierience when buying a vehicle because they walked me through it all letting me know what was available and helped me to pick the one I wanted. I thought I knew before I started but they guided me through to get me in the right car. I was very impressed on how the staff worked together more like a team, again not what I was expecting. I would recomend them to everyone I talk to without thinking twice about it.

Wish I could give a negative score. This purchase was me giving them a second chance, my first purchase from there was just as shady. Terrible communication, don't listen to what you want, what you need and where your price point is. They just keep switching numbers around and tracking tacking on stuff you didn't even want. Heads up, if your salesperson has to say 4 or 5 times that it's all "on the up and up" its probably not. I knew exactly what I wanted and what dollar value I needed to be under. Every week since I have bought this car in February, I have gotten emails, texts, and phone calls about trading up and how they can help me buy a new car, even with all the covid regulations. Blah blah blah.

The original sales experience was good. We have not appreciated the repeated sales calls since then. When I asked to be removed from the sales list, we were not removed. When we received a subsequent call, and asked again to be removed from the list, we were contacted by the manager. Well I am sure that they were just trying to do their best, it was annoying not to have our request honoured.

Carla and Darren were helpful about finding the right vehicle for me and did not push any added features or costs. They were willing to negotiate on price early in the process which was the most important consideration for my new vehicle purchase. Overall a positive experience.

Sales Manager (older guy) seemed to have made biased judgedment about me when we started our conversation. It was easy enough for someone to notice that he wasn't interested in even answering my questions let alone selling a vehicle. Unconscious bias training required!

Anyways, I expressed interest into the car (that I have deeply researched) and was told to look at the price online and ofcourse I am not walking into the dealership without checking you out or take the pain of setting up an appointment. No details whatsoever or no initiative to find out what are my requirements or why am I needing a new vehicle. Disappointed, I walked out of the dealership with a sour taste.

Be very careful with the people running this dealership. They act like your buddies prior to sale but after sale they show their real face. I am having an issue with the car that they should fix according to the contract and so far all they do is push me away with things like "I'll pull your file and call you back" to bluntly just hanging up on me. When I try to call back they stop answering. I have reached the point of filing a complaint with AMVIC and hopefully that will stop them with their unfair practices.

Definitely recommend going here especially if you don t like pushy sales people. David Edmondson And Shad Yaremchuk both made the process easy and stress free. Getting into a car to test drive it was also very easy and being able to walk around freely looking at cars is a perk here as-well (compared to other dealerships) overall great experience and they also threw in free oil changes for 3 years....wow just amazing.

Just received this from north side Kia from purchasing a vehicle. They are very thoughtful. My experience with them was really good, I felt like I was part of their team. Kris Reiniger was super great and she is very good at her job and talking to customers, and the rest of the team was really cool. I was having issues with my last vehicle and Kris helped me. I ended up driving away with a Kia Sportage. And I absolutely love it. By far one of my favourite vehicles out there.
