I live in Vancouver and have managed many Kia dealerships, there is a reason why I came to Chris and Justin at North Edmonton Kia, and it is simply put, because it's the all-new North Edmonton Kia, with these guys helping you out, you can find your way around to a new car and feel comfortable driving home knowing you got the best deal and the best service.
In the end that's what it's all about! Especially with me, I just simply don't have the time, team thank you for your courteous and professional experience, also wanted to make a special thanks to Cory the general manager, for making it all happen.

Great place to come for service! Cory Dieno, their new general manager, is a great guy to chat with and is very understanding! I had a chance to look at a few cars in their showroom from there and the sales guy they have Evan is ON THE BALL. By the time I got home from my oil change, Evan emailed and texted me lots of information about the Optima him and I were looking at. Very polite and sharp kinda guy! I'll be coming back for sure! Great new team guys!

Never Again!!!!

Never Again!!!!
After trading in my vehicle, you asked for the tires & rims, but the tires I had purchased had only three months wear on them. I agreed to give the tires along with the rims, if you could provide me with cross bars for my Thule. You agreed to the arrangement and said that you required a couple of weeks to make it happen.
After a month went by, you changed your tune and said that it will cost over $300.00. Too late for me because you already gave my tires away or sold them. I paid $1000.00 for those tires and could have sold them for $650.00 easily!!
You had over 6 months to correct this situation and failed!!
There is nothing wrong with KIA vehicles only the dishonest person (manager you know who you are!!) that makes the sale arrangements.
I ve since purchased Honda and was treated more than fairly.
NEVER AGAIN!!!

Came in to look for a car on a Saturday. Very busy, but Evan Burow was very efficient and gave all of his customers his undivided attention. Very happy with my final price as well as the extra incentives added by the dealership. All the staff I dealt with were respectful, and most accommodating. Looking forward to many happy kilometers with my new car!!

ORIGINAL REVIEW Absolutely the worst service I have ever recived there. I have been servicing my vehicle there for over a year and have always had top notch service. Always 5 star service. This morning the new guys have sullied that reputation and have me seriously rethinking making the trip.

UPDATE I decided since I have always had amazing service here to try one more time. I'm glad that I did. Today was AMAZING! Thanks to some more changes by the service manager and bringing back a familiar face the experience today was once again what I have always expected coming here. AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! Thank you for redeeming yourself. Would definitely recommend to anyone. If you are looking for a friendly face, a smile and top notch service then come on down to the service department at North Edmonton Kia.

So here I am a year later after buying. Told $500 for the service, budgeted (cos it's a lot) and then told $770. Final bill $900+ for a service on a two year old car. Something just seems wrong .... buyer beware.

They called me about a vehicle that I had for sale...

They called me about a vehicle that I had for sale, asking if I could bring it in for them to look at. I brought it in and they made an offer that I agreed to. They told me to come the next day with my paperwork and they would finish it off and cut the check. We shook hands on the deal. I went in the next day and they told me that they could not make the deal that they proposed and I agreed to and gave me no reason as to why, other than saying they wouldn't make enough money. They are to ones who asked me to come in and proposed the deal that we shook on. Now I took the next day off work to finish it up and they back out for no reason. I will urge people to not do business here. They wasted a lot of my time and lied to me.

This is a little dealership with a big heart! Base...

This is a little dealership with a big heart! Based on my recent experience, I believe that this little dealership prioritizes reference-able customers over volume sales.

Their used vehicle inventory of niche cars is impressive, too (e.g. Audis, Beemers, Rovers, Dodge Hellcats). Chris S. the internet sales manager actively sources premium and luxury used vehicles. So: don't be surprised if you're shopping for a Sorento and end up buying a used Land Rover instead :)

TL;DR SUMMARY:

Good dealership, fair prices, nice selection of premium and budget cars. Chris S. and Shad are excellent. Much better experience than shopping at GoAuto or other large dealerships.

MY EXPERIENCE:

For context: I am an experienced car shopper (wifey and I are car geeks who have owned many vehicles). I do more product research than most people. I know all about the annoying dealership process of (inquiry) + (test drive time) + (2.5+ hours of negotiating and finance and paperwork). And I know the frustration of dealing with 20yo kids in skinny suits who are selling cars as their first job, but bring no actual decision support help to the consumer.

So, I'm not an easy guy to please. But these guys at N.E. Kia exceeded my expectations on all fronts.

My experience of NE Kia started when I submitted a website form inquiry on a Sunday evening. I was surprised to get a response that same night after the dealership was closed. Chris S. was responsive and attentive to all of my requests for information, and we conversed via text messaging. Chris brought a level of industry knowledge, vehicle knowledge, and customer service attitude that other dealerships should learn from. I particularly appreciated his candor and bluntness as we talked through vehicle and trim options (read: good decision support based on plentiful experience)

Chris and I went test driving the next day. I liked the vehicle and the fair pricing. Total time from when I started negotiating with Chris, to the time the finance paperwork was completed, was 96 minutes (yes, I ran my stopwatch; kudos to Shad in the Kia finance department for his efficiency and warm attitude).

RECOMMENDATION:

If you don't enjoy dealing with GoAuto, young trendy millennials, or other high-volume sales cultures, I definitely recommend visiting these guys and Chris S. instead. These guys are competent and enthusiastic, and they will work harder for your business than a larger dealership.

p.s. the 2019 Kia vehicles are amazing value for the price! The Telluride, Sorento, and Stinger are standout vehicles. They have a premium-level finish and near-luxury cabin designs. Props to Kia on stepping up their game while keeping their price point affordable!

My panoramic roof stopped working; it would grind ...

My panoramic roof stopped working; it would grind while closing and return to the open position. While the weather was nice this weekend, I couldn't do much; an open sunroof would be negligence on my behalf for insurance purposes.

Bottom Line: it's not the failure that defines the business its how the business recovers it's faults. I called to have my vehicle serviced; service department was closed; and, the provided solution was to call roadside assistance. Roadside offered to come tow my drive-able vehicle to the dealership where it would wait till after the long weekend; they pawned me off.

I called back when the service department to get this hole in my vehicle fixed; I was advised "no available appointments today - first available 9 am next day" ....good to know general maintenance like oil and cabin filter changes takes priority over a customer with a 3'X2' hole in the roof.

I dropped my vehicle off at 9 am and walked away from the dealership because I was irate with the level of service; or lack there of. At 10:28 I seen the same vehicle make and color parked outside, and I thought: there's no way that's mine, they would have called me if they were unable to locate me in the dealership.

11:47 - I go outside to have a cigarette - someone in service comes outside to tell me my vehicle is ready; and come to find out - my vehicle was ready before 10:28

It's not the failure that defines the business - its how the business recovers from its faults. Sure everyone there wants to be your friend when commission is on the table; snakes.

These folks may be the newest KIA on the block but they definitely didn't show any signs of being rookies when it came to customer service and satisfaction.

Despite an effort that was quite evident by not only the team identified but the General Manager as well, they were unfortunately not able to make the original deal work (due to lack of availability). So what did they do......gave us everything we were looking for in the original deal but in a 2016 and at the exact same bi weekly payment as the original offer!!!

Everyone here was great from start to finish, from sales, to finance to the management.

I was definitely hoping for this level service as i just bought another vehicle at Crosstown (sister company) and wasn't disappointed. The management/owners of this dealership group definitely know the deal when it comes to customer satisfaction/service.

David at Kia North Edmonton really saved the day for me. I had been shopping around for months trying to get a decent trade in on my Jeep Compass with nothing but bad news until I met David. He offered me 3k more one my trade in than any other dealership plus he gave me a great deal on the Sportage Luxury Edition, and made sure that I got all the luxury items that are important to me including lifetimeoil changes. All the managers and finance really went the distance to make me happy. This is a great car and a great salesman.

I have never bought a vehicle here however I did buy a brand new Kia Sportage at Kia West Edmonton. Regardless of that, this service Department took care of me like I was family. First, my car broke down right on Christmas Eve and given that Roadside assistance would only tow to the nearest Kia, they happened to be the first choice. I didn't know what to expect and I certainly didn't expect them to go the extra mile. The lady at service Jan, said have it towed and we'll take a look at it for you as you can't be without a vehicle on Christmas .. they did that and then even replaced my battery for free ( they didnt have to do that), they filled my gas tank and washed my car all for free! I was so impressed. Although I am not going to be buying another Kia in the future ( not because they are bad cars) but because I am aiming toward a higher end vehicle, I will forever be grateful for this service. Give them a chance. I think you'll be looked after.

They sold me 2014 Santa fea that they got of West star Hyundai....in 2015...the two dealership work together..they knew it needed a motor first motor barely made 25,000.... second motor went just after warnty...they knew it was going to blow...as soon as I realized it had problem they referred me back to Hyundai...I call Hyundai service they told me I just wasn't use to driving a Hyundai and those motor made more noise...bs... bottom line both dealership knew...if u look on computer u will see motor built with oil restrictions... Hyundai was finnaly forced to fix problem I was lucky enough to be included in campaign so got third motor put in... while that was happening Kia called me told me they didn't want any unhappy customer...come back in...told dealership wasn't going spend anymore money...they said no probs...I went there against my better judgement and they want sell me a Kia for 400 more a month on top of what I was paying for Hyundai through them....I seldom make review but did so at time...have told dealership numerous times to lose my number but they keep persistening in cold calling me...if I ever bought Hyundai or Kia these two dealership would be last place on Earth I would buy from...now unless this Kia dealership wants to reimburse or give some kind of satisfaction I'm saying again lose my number stop cold calling me...don't have ur dealers call me saying they want to ask me questions about the Hyundai come right out in the voice mail that u leave and tell me what ur going do not just trying to bs me into another purchase that will never happen..cold call again last night when will it stop

I went shopping for a new Kia Sorento on Friday Dec 16, 2019. I decided to go to North Edm Kia and advised the salesperson Victor A that I was shopping for a vehicle and informed him that I would continue to shop after his quote. Victor made a good offer but I still wanted to shop. I was asked to place a deposit on the vehicle to hold it; I agreed provided I would receive a refund if I went elsewhere; Victor made it clear this would happen. I advised Victor the next day that I was going elsewhere to purchase a vehicle and wanted North Edm Kia to refund my deposit. His manager Stan M advised me that North Edm Kia would not refund my deposit. The next day I sent Stan an email asking him to reconsider and please refund my deposit; as of today Tuesday Dec 17, 2020 I have not heard back.

Went to look at a specific vehicle that was listed...

Went to look at a specific vehicle that was listed on their website. It looked good. Drove good on the test drive. However, seeing as my wife would be driving it as well, I had her sit in the driver s seat. She didn t like it. The young salesman we were dealing with was OK with that. However, the sales manager he was reporting to was taken aback by this and aggressively tried to push the vehicle onto us. When it became clear that we would not be purchasing this particular vehicle, he made a couple of other suggestions. We test drove another vehicle which, when we got to highway speeds, had a vibration in the steering. Reported this to the salesman who had another vehicle for us to test drive available. Again, the sales manager got aggressive to the point we almost walked away. At any rate, we tested the third vehicle and decided we liked it. We negotiated a fair deal. This was on Saturday. The vehicle we decided upon had a crack in the windshield. When we asked when we could take delivery of the vehicle, the sales manager said he would get the windshield replaced Monday morning and we could have it Monday afternoon. I made the appropriate insurance arrangements to take effect on Monday. Nothing heard so I called the salesman and was told that it wouldn t be ready until Tuesday as the glass shop they deal with didn t have a windshield in stock for the vehicle we purchased. I demanded and got delivery that (Monday) afternoon with the promise that they would make arrangements to have the glass replaced. Spoke with the salesman on Sunday (8 days after the deal was made) only to find out he knew nothing of the progress. It is now noonish on Monday (9 days post deal) and have still not heard anything about arrangements for the glass replacement.

My recommendation regarding Kia North Edmonton if you want a Kia, especially a used one, go someplace else. I like the vehicle we got. I wish I could say that I have enjoyed the dealer experience.

I wanted to trade in my 2015 kia SOUL for a 2020 Kis Sportage since my 5 year old is growing like a bad weed and we have another giant on the way. I had an excellent experience at this dealership. From the moment I walked in, I was treated well.

Not only did I walk away with everything I was hoping for but Kevin made sure I got so many extras. The service, from receptionist to the moment I drove it off the lot, was impeccable. If you're looking to do business with a great dealership who will treat you with respect and won't pressure you into something you don't want, look no further than North Edmonton Kia. Victor(in Sales)was knowledgeable and personable, Kevin ( in Finance) went above and beyond to get me an AMAZING deal, Evan and even Justin ( in Sales Management) made the experience just that much more enjoyable. I recently took my Kia Soul in for scheduled and preventative maintenance, and was amazed at the professionalism, the friendliness and amazing quality of service. Not only did my vehicle receive excellent service, but so did I. The only criticism I have is that because it is a dealership, the cost for service is quite high. However, that is palatable when you see the end result, which is your vehicle in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this location to anyone!

I had a 2014 Kia Sportage SX Turbo and traded it in for a 2019. I loved my first Kia so much that I bought another one. These are, by far, the best vehicles I've ever owned. Bought a car with conditions to replace shocks and struts and windshield. They said it was all ready, when I got there nothing was done. Second try they did windshield and got shocks and only 1 strut and left a broken sway bar. With that they left brakes that should have been replaced. They don't seem to care much about customer service and just sluff anything you ask by saying yes and doing nothing. When confronted all they say is you signed the paper and it's not our problem if you don't know what it said and It's not up to us to tell you. So if you want respect and not pay for repairs after you buy a vehicle go somewhere else.

I went with my wife to check the Kia minivan. We checked Toyota and Honda minivan before that. We met Jason the sales man there and he went through all the details of minivans that he has. We chose to go with the SX plus , 8 seater but unfortunately we couldn t find it in Edmonton so Jason and the great Kevin from the financial department went up and down to find me that and they did. They brought it all the way from Manitoba at no cost. I love the car and I am happy that I went with Sedona minivan, Jason gave me 5 years free oil change and 5 years free car wash. Great sales man, very professional and honest

I went to North Edmonton Kia to look at a Kia Niro. I was not at the buying stage, but after viewing it and reading everything I could get my hands on I realized it was a good car. I specifically was interested in hybrid. The staff at Edmonton Kia were very helpful and courteous. I dealt with salesman Evan Burow and he gave me all the information I needed without the feeling of pressure. We were having problems finding a new Stinger in the color we wanted in Calgary, so contacted Kevin Bouvier at North Edmonton Kia. Not only did he have the car, he honored the deal we had struck with the Calgary dealer AND drove it down to us personally to save the hassle of packing up the kids and running up to Edmonton to get it. Would highly recommend North Edmonton Kia and specifically Kevin, they were amazing! Love our new car!

I had very bad experience with Kia North.
They ordered a part for my kia hybrid and I have been told that the part will take 2-3 days to arrive but till now and after 8 days it didn t arrive. They told me that the part left the warehouse and it is on the route. I am Uber driver and I didn t work for one week. Every day I don t work I loose money. I went to their place because I trust in Kia. I didn t go to any mechanic. I thought that better to my car to get fix in Kia dealership. I am still waiting.

Looked at several vehicles over the course of three months. Met with a lot of pushy salesmen, and I almost gave up hope on buying a new car completely... until I went to North Edmonton Kia. Just an FYI for those who went through a bad experience with GO AUTO, NORTH EDMONTON KIA IS BESIDE 3 GO AUTO DEALERSHIPS, BUT THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE GO AUTO GROUP (which is great for me because I disdain GO AUTO!!!) . Anyways, we fell in love with the new Sorento almost right away, and we ended up buying it too because the salesman EVAN BUROW was F%!&*#G AWESOME to deal with. Shout out to Cory Deino the general manager there too! He was awesome and Evan and Cory got me an awesome deal!

This dealership lies to its customers. I returned my daughters extended test drive on an EX plus 2020 Sorento vehicle when the salesman Victor and manger Justin couldn t be bothered to text her back about her concerns or if they would even have anything else for her to try. Instead they told her she couldn t afford the other vehicles and or respective cost of owner ship. They aren t even knowledgeable about their own vehicles they are selling. They also offered my daughter a gift from the unwrap event with no purchase required they then took away from her despite signing a subject too test drive offer. They then tried to cover up because they had given her some dog treats when they found out she was bringing in her dog in lieu of the lunch they also offered. Then when my Daughter purchased a vehicle at Sherwood Kia they called the Sherwood Kia managers on her about her review. Pretty shady old school tactics and I would know. They still haven t provided proof of deposit being returned either. So keep an eye on your credit card statements when dealing with this dealership or better yet run don t walk Sherwood

Buyer be ware , this along with many other car dealershipsnin Alberta use dirty car salesman tricks. Including inapropreate one way jokes that when returned end up being met with stern disapproval. As far as some of the other dealerships go they aren't as forceful in getting you in to a car of their choosing as some of the other dealerships.

The after sales experience was a nightmare. Had a problem with the car that should have been delt with before I bough it. Nurmerous were sent without response. Called a sales manager, Brad. But he shuffled me off to the salesman I bought the car from. He didn't respond after the initial text message, so I called Brad directly.

The next conversation involved him being very rude, condescending, and passive-aggressive. He was very eager to talk about anything other than my problem or how to fix it.

If I had that conversation with him before I bought the car, I would not have wasted a minute on him or that dealership.

Nathan, Justin and the triple (T)-eam (Tristan, Travis and Tanya) are all very professional and know how to run one of the best dealerships i have ever been inside. They are not pushy, listen to what your needs and wants are and were able to find me the best possible vehicle that fit perfectly into my budget. they even went above and beyond with making sure I was taken care of and treated respectfully. If you're looking for a vehicle i highly recommend stopping by, I will be directing everyone i know to them in the future..

Except if WYATT tries to help you, run to anyone else, he has a lack of customer service and carried himself in an unprofessional manner.

I bought my first Kia car here last week. This was hands down my best car purchasing experience right from the get go. I would strongly recommend anyone who is looking to buy a car, come by and check out North Edmonton Kia.

All of the staff are friendly and very helpful. My sales rep, Alisha Lemoine, was great. She went out of her way to find me the right car that fit my needs and my budget.

I'm happy to be a part of the North Edmonton Kia family and I look forward to dealing with them in the future.

My experience was from a few years ago but I figure I'd add it anyways. Test drove a few used cars, staff very friendly and helpful. Ended up buying a used kia privately instead because the price simply couldn't be matched by a dealership.

Took said Kia I bought to North Edmonton Kia for a small warranty repair, service staff again helpful and easy to deal with. Repair would take around 6 hours so they offered me a ride home in the meantime. Went back later to pick it up and everything worked great plus they washed it!

Simply have no complaints would definitely go back if I was in the market for a kia

Knocked it outta the park!!!! Highly recommend!!! Ask for Victor and he will hook you up!!! Got me into the vehicle I wanted fully loaded and with a steal of a deal.
For financing Shad is your guy. He is a wizard with the numbers and managed to get me a lower rate and cash back!!
Service is by far the best I have experienced in a long time. They hooked me up so well, my boyfriend came in the next day and got himself a wicked deal too!!! The final touch was the Bears & Wishes gift basket I received a couple days later!!! Hands down best dealership in the city!!!

New customer of 3 months, super happy with my 2018 Kia Forte. Kevin, Taylor & David really helped me out on this one. The experience I had from them was amazing. I was a little worried and didn t trust them at the beginning. But when I went over everything with Kevin, he explained how much he helped me. He got me out of a really bad lease with Go Auto and got me in with a way better, more affordable vehicle. If I could do it all over again I would, this place deserves my 5 star review and I NEVER leave reviews but this was worth writing one. I definitely recommend this place! Thank you guys so so much! Really appreciate what you guys did for me.

Amazing place.

Amazing place.
I highly recommend it. Chris Smallwood will do everything to make you feel happy and find exactly what you want.
They are pretty honest, this is the biggest difference with other dealerships. I got more than a fair price for my trade.
I am very picky customer and they have treated me very well.

If you are buying a used car then they are no diff...

If you are buying a used car then they are no different than any other small roadside car dealers. Get everything in writing (on official invoice or bill of sale, they will not honor any other piece of paper), don't trust anyone (including General Manager) if they make any promise. Once you pay and take delivery they won't listen to any promise they made.

Trade in my old vehicle and got a beautiful one through their hard work and time. Shopped here for a new Kia Fortez, the product was very impressive but the sales lady I have Kris knows very little about the car every time I ask a question she had to go get an answer from someone and seemed annoyed with me. Then an hour after leaving she kept calling me telling me her manager was ready to make a deal and I have to come back or she could not make commission and she really needs commission cheque. Ended up purchase from another dealer. If you go here I recommend different sales persons.

North Edmonton Kia is an awesome dealership. Had a great experience on my purchase. Sales Associate Bilal and Sales Manager Darren were friendly and energetic. It was a good negotiation based on reason , logic and value. I felt like they really wanted to make a deal and establish long term relationship with customers. I bought a Sedona.
