This was going to be my 3rd vehicle purchased from...

This was going to be my 3rd vehicle purchased from the dealership but it did not happen. We had agreed on the vehicle and payment plan and they said they would call as soon as they found our vehicle. Well I didn't hear from them as promised so I had to go back in and ask what was going on. I was told that they found a car and it would be ready for us by the end of the week. We then asked to go over the contract and suddenly we were told our payment had increased from what we agreed on and when we complained nobody cared! Needless to say we walked out of that dealership without purchasing the car and we will not be back. I do not like feeling 'scammed' by them.

We walked into Kia today browsing for a new mom mobile and was met by Travis who helped us find the vehicle that fit us! Service was top notch and very timely! Then we moved on to see Kevin in finance who also exceeded our expectations. We are now the proud owners of a 2019 Kia Sorento!

Re: Chris Smallwood - We've purchased a number of new vehicles over the years, eight I think in the last 15, so we've had the opportunity to experience many dealerships and sales reps or product advisors over that time. I am happy to report that our most recent purchase at North Edmonton Kia was the most pleasant and stress-free experience ever. Chris Smallwood greeted us with a genuine smile and immediately made us feel welcome. He demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge of Kia vehicles and left us with the clear impression that he was there to help us find the vehicle best suited to our wishes and needs. This was, without doubt, the best new vehicle purchase that my wife and I have ever gone through. Mr. Smallwood is an excellent ambassador of the Kia brand. He's a keeper!

Parts department has 4 Stars- no issues as of yet but there's no benefit to being a loyal costumer. West Kia always vacuums my interior and washes the exterior. I've never had that happen at the North dealership.
Sales has zero. I called recently to inquire about something for the second time. The gentleman on the end tried to upsale me when I was just asking a question. He also was a wee bit sexist when I said that I change my tires for my husband and he said 'isn't that backwards'. Yikes Northside Kia! I was just calling with a question.

My fiance and I went into Kia to look at a new vehicle for me. I am inept when it comes to cars.and mechanics in general. Larry the salesman was AWESOME. He answered all our questions and never made me feel dumb for asking simple questions. Graham made us feel very welcome and Logan in finance helped everything so smooth.

I would totally recommend (sales) Nick, chris and Justin (fiance manager) from Kia North Edmonton..the customer service we receive from them was outstanding. The managers Levi and Evan was on hand and very friendly , any questions we had they answered. We bought a Telluride and it's one of the best vehicles that we ever bought. Actually all the staff that I came in contact with was amazing . I hope and I'm sure whoever will go there will have the experience that we had. Best dealership that I went in a long time.

They are currently selling a used rose gold chrome wrapped ford focus ST. They say it is ONE owner. Fun fact! I bought this car in 2016 I was the SECOND owner. I traded it in, in 2018 and it was bought by someone I know. Making it owned by THREE people. Buyers beware of false advertising and car fax reports!

My wife and I purchased our new 2020 Rio EX yesterday from the very friendly and knowledgeable team at North Edmonton Kia. We were very impressed with how well we were treated by Kris Reiniger as well as Nathan Rolf and Shad Yaremchuk. They bent over backwards to make our new car purchase experience pleasant and stress free with their honest and upfront sales approach. They fully answered our questions with regard to our trade in and tailored a deal which met our budget and automobile requirements. We highly recommend Kris and the fine North Edmonton Kia team to anybody looking for a very fair deal on a new vehicle.

I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service at this dealership. I went in expecting the usual sales environment, but I experienced something entirely different. I dealt with a young gentleman named Taylor. He was personable and showed a genuine interest in me as a person and was very attentive to my needs in a vehicle. Highly recommend, based on experience alone.

Been to a few dealerships looking at vehicles over the last few months so its not my first rodeo. Came here for an oil change on my fiances car. Dealer was aware i wasnt going to purchase a vehicle today, but in market. Was simply browsing while service being done. Sales manager was very pushy for deposit when i just wanted numbers. Was happy with info i got and didnt want to press further, just wanted to think it over night but sales guy kept pressing for deposit and my bank card. Ive never felt such pressure at a dealership. He kept offering things i clearly was saying no to, and then re offering them as if he didnt hear my no. I walked away being disappointed, especially after they had someone else come and try me. Sales guy texted me and i told him i wasnt interested.

Bad taste left in my mouth when after i said i was not interest via text, they proceeded to call me a few days later to talk about why i felt pressured, i said i was looking else where, ended call and they still proceeded to texted me. Had to block the number. Super pushy here. Not a way to treat someone if you want them to come back.

Couldn't be more disappointed with the absolute lack of customer service during our car buying experience at North Edmonton Kia. If you, as a customer, have any issue at all this dealership will completely ignore you. This can be seen in the google reviews. They are happy to respond to any glowing reviews, but you can see they don't address any negative issues.

I emailed this dealer after purchasing a vehicle to ask why I was charged more than 5% GST. I would have assumed this would be a fair question that deserved a response. However to this point the GM, Cory Dieno and the Sales Manager, Stan Mounzer do not feel that this warrants any response.

Haha when we first opened the door everyone seem nice, young man shakes my hand and says welcome, felt great! Then the older sales representative gives us to test drive a vehicle that had 45 k kilometers on it when we asked for not more than 25k. We refused to test drive it because didn't want to waste our time and his. Unfortunately, he didn't take it so easy. He started blaming us for not test driving a vehicle we didn't want to and gave us an undesired dirty look. Basically, he showed his true colors. Very unprofessional behaviour and no respect to the customers. Will never set a foot step there again and will recommend all my friends to avoid that dealership.

Kris is amazing to deal with! He really knows his stuff, he can talk stats on cars for ages which my boyfriend absolutely loved (pick his brain abit, you will be thrilled!) . He goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. I've loved every encounter I've had with him. Had a really great experience here, our salesman was Chris Smallwood. Very respectful of our boundaries, didn't hassle me like crazy while we took a week deciding. Got us in the car we wanted, in the color we wanted, at the price we wanted, when we were ready. Can't really ask for more.

There's also an Xbox 360 in the lobby while your waiting... If that's your thing lol.

My first initial thoughts of North Edmonton Kia was great. They called me on their VIP sale an were more then willing to trade my 2015 KIA Forte in for a 2019 KIA Sorento. They helped me lower my interest rate an got my family into something alot more comfortable. My first encounter with the Larry an Chris was good. They were very kind, caring an made sure my daughters were comfortable while they waited 2 long hours for me to decide on what Vehicle was best suited for us. They helped me find what I was looking for an made sure to stay in my budget. My boyfriend an I felt good about the choice we made. We were happy even though it took awhile for the papers to go through. Chris stayed intouch couple days afterwards. He made sure everything was working fine. Which is wonderful, considering the teribble experience I had with South Edmonton KIA. I would recommend going to North Edmonton KIA before ever going to the South end location. Those sales men aren't very honest and will tell u what you wanna hear rather then what you should hear. If your looking for a good bang for your buck. Go to North Edmonton KIA

David was the most pressure-free salesman I ve encountered and was attentive to our needs. Same .... 2 - 2 1/2 hours for an oil change booked in advance. I'm spoiled with Chrysler/Dodge drive thru service. Then, they spam you with 8+ phone calls and emails, telling you to contact them for important information on your vehicle, when it's just to remind you of your upcoming oil change you need to do ( duh ).

I know car shopping is stressful but working with this dealership is one of the worst experiences I ve had.
After weeks of phone calls we finally decided to go talk to them. They tried to sell us a car we didn t want four times and we took our deposit back and left.
The owner contacted us, magically finding the car we wanted so we went ahead with the deal.
It was fine until two weeks later when our old car loan continued to come out of our account.
When we contacted the dealership, they told us the payment for our old loan is the mail and it will stop coming out once they get it. And it s not a big because they ll reimburse us eventually for those payments.
So now we re paying two car payments and they have no interest in helping since that they ve got their sale.

Would not recommend to anyone.

Edit: Found out after posting this review that the payment for our previous loan was not delayed but that Kia had literally forgot to pay it for ten days before we call to inquire about the continuing payments. Apparently we were not the only people this happened to.

I really appreciated how the sales people at North Edmonton Kia treated myself and my family. Specifically, Victor on the sales team, and Kevin in finance were really awesome to deal with. My family and I travelled from Calgary to Edmonton to purchase the vehicle since all of the Tellurides in Calgary were sold out. Prior to our trip to Edmonton, I had a number of phone calls with Victor and other members of the sales team as we went through a series of hectic negotiations (another dealer in Edmonton was also vying for our business). Even through all of the back and forth, Victor and the team were extremely professional, courteous and fair. We agreed on a price over the phone, and I got that price (even better, in fact) when we made the final purchase. The car was ready for us to drive away, and we are extremely happy with it. All around, top-notch customer service from the North Edmonton Kia team! Also, the 2020 Telluride is an absolutely amazing vehicle, especially in Snow White Pearl with the espresso interior. Beauty!

If your thinking of trading in a vehicle with these folks they will try to rob you and blindside with a so called lower payment plan. While they hide the true value which was so totally insulting I just asked for my keys and left. I sure hope service dept can keep clients happy. For Travis was Ok. But he certainly did not follow up with me on my thoughts from the tower guy. Who did not even introduce himself. Levi might have been the better man in the seat that day.

By the way I found a better deal in Calgary

It was an interesting experience. Prices are good, experience was okay. Started out with one sales rep ended up with another. Just seeing the difference between the two salespeople showed how much they need some sales training. One sales person was significantly superior then the other. I was told I would have a siriusxm subscription, but before driving away I noticed it didn t have it, mentioned it immediately to my sales rep and he said it would be taken care of immediately, yet here I am over a week later still no sirius radio. I was invited to a VIP event at North Edmonton Kia. I was not going to go but curiosity got the best of me and I went there Saturday afternoon. I was able to walk around freely for a short time, I hate when you have a sales person on you the moment you walk in. An employee did eventually speak to me. Through his incoherent speech I was able to figure out his name was Harnam and he was the Sales Manager there. He was slurring his words and having difficulty forming sentences. His pupils were wide and he was sweating. He was not wearing a mask and did not observe social distancing he was constantly moving closer to me. I asked if he was alright and he said he was not feeling well. Although he was showing all signs of impairment.
If he was sick he should be quarantined and tested and so should the rest of the staff and people who attended the event. I seriously think he was impaired. If this is the type of people you employ I will never be back to the dealership or deal with Kia again.

Just brought my new to me 2015 Sedona home! Victor, Shad and Justin were all amazing to deal with. Victor was my main go to guy, with his amazing friendly personality, he was easy to talk to. I Have been using NE Kia as our primary service department for the last couple of years. We switched from Sherwood Kia, who's service department was a nightmare. Their service department actually had my wife in tears with a "warranty threatening" repair bill on a Kia Soul with 50,000 kms, which was an obvious ploy to have unnecessary work done (READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL!!). NE Kia has been nothing but excellent!! Nancy Leung has been our go to gal for everything. She is in short, AWESOME! She treats you like a person before a customer and keeps a great open line of communication. I won't deal with anyone else if I have the choice, though I'm sure they are all very competent. Good Job Nancy, keep up the good work.

New owners of the dealership have done a great job of making the car buying experience have less of the stressful stuff I have gotten in other "big box" dealerships that are more interested in the next deal. Nemesio (Nemo) was great to work with and I appreciated his candor. I'm a super savvy buyer so I ended up working mostly with Evan and Nathan in sales and Logan and Justin in finance. They all were attentive and listed to what I wanted and made it happen. In the end, I got the exact vehicle that I wanted for a price that was good. I really made them work for this deal though and I appreciated the effort. They earned my business for sure. Kudos guys, keep up the good work!

Extremely aggressive sales tactics. They will put you on a call list and call you incessantly! I sold my KIA 3 years ago and they won t stop doing outcalls to me even after being asked to be taken off of their call list. There has to be laws against this. I discussed with the manager whose name is James on the weekend that I do not want to be contacted again, this is the 5th time I made the request... Now I get called by a marketing company that has been hired to do outcalls for them?! STOP CALLING ME!!!

I've sold cars in the past also but these guys are pretty nasty with their shortcuts. Sad that a great brand like Kia is oil stained by bad personnel.

Absolute worst sales experience I've ever had.

Me and my boyfriend came in to check out a used car they had listed online, upon arriving we asked them if we could see it and they said it was already sold but would be happy to explore some other options.

My boyfriend is very picky when it comes to buying a car (and who isn't, everyone should be picky when it comes to such a big purchase) but he always let's them know up front at the very beginning, he also let them know that we 100% would not be buying anything today (as he would need to check insurance), especially since they didnt have the car we came to see.

I told them that in the future I might also need a new vehicle, if we had a good experience here I might have came back.

So we walk in and run into Darren who was really nice and promptly handed us off to a salesperson, Kris.

My boyfriend tells Kris generally what hes in the market for. Everytime we ask about pricing he is always reluctant to tell us how much the car actually costs, he just says "oh we can work it into your payment".

We test drive 2 different cars but my BF isnt a big fan of either. After this Kris just storms off after we leave the car to grab Darren, we don't even see Kris again.

We sit down with Darren who is obviously upset, he starts asking us "oh well if we cant sell you on any car today, what can we do?" In an extremely condescending and aggressive tone. Him getting a bit upset with my boyfriend is fair since hes picky, but he then proceeds to belittle me and say "oh can you afford $200/biweekly? Oh? $100/biweekly? No? What are you hopping to achieve here then?"

Number 1, I told you I wasnt looking to buy a car today

And number 2, don't belittle me because of my income

My bf is very picky with cars but he also did not deserve to be treated and borderline yelled at for not spontaneously buying a car.

Before we left Darren said "oh well since we cant do a single thing for you, you get $500 for referrals. Everyone who came in today bought a car. Except you."

Alright? Cool? You work in sales, can you not accept that you wont win over everyone? Especially when you dont have the vehicle we came to see.

We dont owe you anything for a test drive.

Darren's break down at the end warranted this bad review, it was rediculous how he thought his interrogation was appropriate or warranted.

I would steer far far away from this dealership (or any of the other dealerships on the block)

Brought the car in for a inspection for a mechanic...

Brought the car in for a inspection for a mechanical issue. They charged me the inspection and told me afterwards they didn't find anything and if the issue is still occurring in the next week to go back.
Went back and then they told me they didn't do the right inspection for the type of problem I Had and charged me another inspection. ( didn't find or did anything that time either)
Long story short : Big rip off , never going back.
