A mixed review really but to be honest I would avoid this solicitor s in future!
I had two different case handlers who rarely contacted me, so it was a struggle to be kept up to date with my claim progress. And whenever I phoned up they were hardly ever available.
They lost paperwork including payslips, letters of loss of earnings and receipts of expenses.
After 11 months my claim was finalised and I was waiting to receive a bacs transfer for 2/3 weeks and was repeatedly told there waiting for funds to clear, after week 3 I rang up to be told there s a cheque in the post which Is not what I asked for but buy this point I was losing the will so proceeded with waiting for the cheque this took a further 3 weeks to arrive.
But I must say nearly everybody I spoke to was very polite and my claim was complete with all money cleared in just over 12 months.
Great experience!!! Usually when working with insurance paralegals it has never been easy. But with New Law (Maddison Brett) she was amazing literally chased everything up. Not once did I ask Maddison where my case was at as I d have the answer / status of my claim sent to me. I wish the company all the best and thank you for such a great experience.
My experience of the Solicitors i engaged with was of patience and understanding typing the interaction and always asking pertinent questions at the right time this makes a difficult time that much easier. I must thank Emily for excellent follow up.

I will definitely recommend people not to give ur accident claims to newlaw solicitors,its just a waste of time and hassle.Once they get the claim initial stage they are very quick and fast to send a claim form but after that they forget everything and ur file will be freezed.i gave my claim to them and my case worker went for holidays and after that no one knows what is going on.i call them in November and ask the update but they asked me that have u attend the madical appointment while I already attend it a month ago,then they told me sorry ur caseworker jessica went on holdidys and ww have not received ur medical report.then i call myself to my doctor and aak him to send them a new report.Now from last 4 weeks i am calling every week but one week they told me they r short of staff,it will done by end of week,next week they told me we have got new system in office so it will take one more week to understand,third week they have not forgotten u it will be done by Friday.fourth week i mean today they told me that jessica will sent u an email definitely today but again haven't received anything yet.i am thinking to transfer my file now ,I don't know what type of organisation is this?

The service this firm provides supposed legal services on behalf of / in partnership with Carole Nash legal services. I have never received services as bad as this in many years of using many lawyers accountants and similar professionals for many things. These are the very worst. They offer a unique combination of passivity / inactivity, sloppiness / incompetence and an absolutely stinking attitude to client relations.
I would wish the services of this firm on my worst enemies. Someone at the top there should take note of all these reviews, and sack some of those terrible individuals who should not be on the payroll or at least should have nothing to do with service provision of client contact.

Helped me with a couple of motoring offences, got me off one I was not guilty of and got me off with a minimal penalty and one charge dropped as they proved the police were lying! Claim has been going on for 5 years now with no end in sight. It was A car accident where the other party admitted Blame immediately. Every file handler leaves after a couple of months and nobody informs you. Every time you phone they say someone will call you back after 72 hours but that doesn t happen. I think I m on about my 20th file handler now. My car insurance company put Ageas forward to deal with the claim and they used new law. The service provided by these people is insulting and ridiculous. If you can avoid them definitely do so.
Jonathan Wright is a very professional solicitor and very good at what he does. They handled the case as quickly as you could expect something like this too be handled. Very good service.
Accidents don't happen every day. Unfortunately it happens without any warning. Luckily for me these guys were introduced to me and they have been really helpful.

I have had a claim with this company that has been ongoing for past 2 years. I have had several case handlers and had to chase them up to find out what is going on with my case. You cannot contact the claim handler because the direct line rings for a few seconds then cuts off. The main office phone just continually rings. After 25 minutes I gave up. The service they provide is dire. When you do actually get to speak to them they are quite rude. They also never reply to emails. My insurance company engaged these. They don't seem to learn from their mistakes. Review after review are complaining about contact and service and still there appears to be no improvement. Engage at your peril. Had to give them 1 star. Couldn't post until a star was selected!
My Claim handler Megan worked extremely hard to keep me updated about my claim. She expedited information quickly and efficiently. A very diligent and caring company to deal with of which I have no hesitation to recommend to all my friends and family.

This company started probate services on my father's estate promising a timescale of 2 to 3 months back in October 2019 here we are nearly a year later and still no further. We get next to no updates from them even to point were we have been told to chase the process up with inland revenue ourselves. It's getting beyond the joke now. As a family we cannot rest or finish the grieving process because of this delay as we cannot do anything with his estate nor can we pay off debtors who are at our doors chasing for money we cannot release because of it. We are fed excuse after excuse including the covid one but speaking to other solicitors we are advised that only adds an extra couple of weeks at present. I've sat by seeing other friends lose loved ones and get probate sorted in less time we have been waiting for ours. We had tried complaining to them but I'm now left with this recourse as I am now at breaking point.

Have a case on going for nearly 10 months now. Constantly emailing my case manager with no response, emailed the company itself - no response. More stress than its worth. Had this case hanging over me for 10 months now wish I never bothered.

Absolutely dreadful. Nearly 1 year on from the car crash and it is like pushing water up a hill. Catalogue of errors and lethargy. I am out of pocket as I ended up paying for treatment myself as they could even organise that properly. My (2nd) case handler doesn't seem remotely bothered and no plan for resolution and is happy for time to drift on by. Tescos Insurance shouldn't being using these guys!
Very good & helpful answered my emails next same day or next explained everything to me & process, unfortunately for me covoid slowed things down but I am very happy with the service I received & would recommend New Law solicitors to anyone.
I had a car accident 1st June this year and Ageas law were the company assigned by my insurance company . All went well at first ; I had a medical in which the report came back mid sept . That s when the troubles began . I had to be referred to a specialist and I am still waiting three months later to hear of an appointment with on medical. I keep being told we will chase them up for you etc and each time I have to do the chasing and haven t yet had an email off then or on medical with an appointment . absolute joke of a company !

Firstly where do I start..... I had a work accident a while ago and New Law Solicitors took my case on. From the time I had my accident until now, the communication has been a terrible experience.I seem to be doing all of the running around which should not be the case. I fully understand that with are all dealing with Covid-19, however I was informed that Case workers would be working from home. I sent an email over 4 weeks ago and am still waiting on a reply. I really wish now that I never took up the Services of New Law Solicitors as they are absolutely appalling.

Awful solicitors. Don't do anything to help progress the claim. Been waiting for 6 months for them to pick a medical professional to carry out my medical examination. They were given a list, not hard to pick from!!! Very incompetent, haven't done anything, all the work is being done by myself and Premier Medical. They don't answer their phone, my case handler who has changed without me knowing doesn't answer her phone or reply to messages. I have instructed her that I no longer wish to use Ageas Law as after 15 months my claim hasn't progressed. She acknowledged that but is not closing my case and handing it over to my new solicitor whose details I gave her. Zero star review, STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL COMPANY, IT'S NOT WORTH THE FURTHER STRESS THEY CAUSE.
Unbelievable, they hand up on you when the phones ringing, i litteraly heard the phone pick up and hang up. Secondly a simple query becomes a nightmare.

I urge you NOT TO GO with these lawyers. I work in law myself and all I can say is they are amateur. During the 19 months of hell that it took just to get a first offer I had 5 case managers in that time. To those that do not know this - this is a designated Paralegal in plain English.They have a high turn over of staff meaning that this is why the case took so long.
the average settlement should take 6-9 months from start to finish please bare this in mind.The have no back bone I should of received more then the offer that was given but I could not stand waiting for another 12-24 months for a payout.
You may ask why I went with NewLaw - reason is I was in an accident I was vulnerable and shocked and I had persistent calls over 3 week period after the crash.This was the most amount of contact I had with them - I constantly had to ring and chase them over this time scale.
I beg you to stay away from this company I would rate this 0 stars if I could - be warned!!!!!!!!!!!

This company is the biggest joke ever. i have been waiting for a cheque to arrive since the 23/03/16 and whenever i chase it i just get messed around and told they'll look into it. I strongly urge anyone considering using them to stay well clear
Handle my husbands case really well, Can't fault them.
As we expected it to take a few years due to the type of case, it was handled in around a year. He got updates although they weren't weekly as its impossible for them to update when they have no news on how's things are going. He had news when things were slow and when things were moving.
Although he had updates from different people it didn't matter.
In the end they gave him the best advise to go for a higher amount and although it was declined they still believed he was entitled to more then there low offer. So pushed for more and got the second offer approved which was more than the average for the type of case. He was paid out in just over a week. Thankyou
Avoid!!! My partner had a serious accident nearly three years ago now, on our 6th paralegal dealing with case. A caterlog of errors by the firm see us going backwards and mistakes that will be detrimental to his claim, When we eventually get that far.

Give them all the details of my accident and a reference number for the people who are at fault. But know they go to the land registry and then to the council and then to the people i told them who was at fault. They did not respond in the 3 months. So they had to get a court order. Then the portal was set up only took 9 months the portal should of been set up in the first week. I am now asking for a cancellation letter and all my photo's 'ect' back. As i'm going to take the defendant to court myself as i can do a better job than this firm. Anyone looking for a claims firm stay well clear of Your Law/New law

Appalling customer relations. My simple non fault claim has bn passed from one handler to another. They don't reply to emails, won't answer phone calls. When you do get through they're rude and ignorant. I spoke to them (eventually) a few weeks ago asking why they haven't made any progress on my claim, to be told they hadn't done anything for a few months and were unlikely to do anything soon

They took on our cases in October 2016, car vs lorry liability from the 3rd party had been admitted. Since then its been constant chasing of a paralegal who spends more time off sick than actually at work. Passed from pillar to post. My sons case has been awaiting a court date since last year and we have heard nothing regarding this even when chased! My partner asked questions regarding his treatment and was told he could be seen as wasting time in doing this! Since asking these questions the paralegal has again been off sick! My partner is still waiting for information about an appointment (luckily the 3rd party seem more on the ball and have arranged all of this, which shockingingly new law have no knowledge of. They are unaware if my partner has recieved the treatment yet or not) he has been promised updates by 4 different members of staff, guess what still waiting for those also. I am waiting for my settlement payment to come through which I recieved and email (clearly for the 3rd party) stating that they look forward to receiving the money in 10 days. Can I get hold of them to check they have this? Well I guess I would have more luck making tea in a chocolate teapot! This has been a joke from start to finish! I logged a complaint which I don't have any faith in it being dealt with satisfactorily. I can bet they wont hesitate in taking the fees which they have not earnt when all the settlements finally happen!
Really not impressed with all this reviews that I ve read here, so many people can not be telling lies at the same, but will not jump into conclusions yet.
Will wait to see how they treat my situation as still early days.

Very attentive when putting my claim together, as soon as my claim was put to 3rd party I feel like I ve just been pushed aside, no call backs when promised, no response to emails, 6 months so far for a non complex claim. Wish I hadn t followed my insurers advice and selected my own law firm to represent me.
Excellent firm, provided a great and quick service. No hassle through out the process.
My accident happened on 8th Decemeber 2017. I was put on to New Law by National Accident Helpline and will never do this again. They have no interest or compassionwhen dealing with your claim. I have had to instigate every bit of minimal communication. I have sent another complaint today and have decided that i will be contacting the ombudsman on the service this company offers but does not follow through on. I have had numerous case managers and waited 8 months for a neurologist apt to be arranged which i find disgusting, (good job there was nothing life threatening). I will never recommend this company of the back of the service i have recieved so far. I hope to hear something soon to get my claim finalised and settled, but i suspect New Law will take full payment for the little work they have done.

Well first of all can I say a very professional and understanding case manager you are, put me under no pressure and very easy to understand of everything that is going on on with my claim, thank you.
If I had a choice I wouldn't even give them a 1 star. Definitely wouldn't recommend this cowboy company. They keep you in the dark, you have to constintley chase them. They have way to many people dealing with your claim so information and documentation gets lost in translation. They sent paperwork saying I was likely to get a higher amount so I planned my life around that, then to receive a much lower amount so that made the paperwork they sent me utterly pointless. In future surely best to say to a customer a lower amount and if they get more then happy days not the other way around. 4 years it took them to settle my claim which I'm still not happy about. I got a pittence for what I went through physically, mentally and emotionally.

A year and a half now... Still no resolution and I think they've lost my daughters birth certificate. I am actively avoiding tesco car insurance if they keep using these clowns.
