Not a very clean room especially if you find 2 candy wrappers in the floor one by your bed and the other by the garbage pail.
The room service is Horrible!!!
First, of all you are a captive audience (No other place to go unless you have a car but most places aren t opened) on the menu for dinner there are 3 items that s it. If you like hamburgers or a cheeseburger that s great. The best hamburger (?) arrived cold with bacon that was obviously microwaved and not real bacon. The fries were half cold, half hot so obviously I got all the new mixed together. And don t waste your time calling the front desk or the room service you re not gonna get anywhere. So, save yourself a call. A total waste of money no other way to describe it. Now you would think since you re a captive audience they could do a little better. A very very sad state of affairs. Don t waste your time with the room service here. My best advice take a walk through the parking lot over to the terminal and get something there it s a better use of your money.

The hotel is conveniently located at the airport. There is a hotel shuttle running 24 hours from the hotel to the airport and back. The room was very nice and clean. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. The bed is very luxurious and comfortable. The on site restaurant has a good selection and great good. Overall it was an excellent experience staying at the hotel.

The beds and pillows, were super comfortable. We were disappointed when all they had was a 2 double bed room, even though we had reserved a king bed room. Eventually they moved us to a king bed room on the top floor.

Terrible experience. No pool, no wifi in the rooms, no fridge (had to eat snacks everyday), uber everywhere, nowhere near anything, front desk walked out on me when i was complaining, think there s also bed bugs because we got a few bites overnight, got charged for wifi when we asked personally if we can (they said we can register our names in their wifi to get free wifi, so we did but still got charged $69.05. If we convert it to CA, it ll be $91.81). If I could rate this hotel, it would be a 0, but I needed to give a star to write a review.

I stayed here in June, 2019 for an overnight flight connection. I was amazed at the great price Orbitz gave me for a room here. The restaurant was fantastic, and if I were reviewing just for that, I'd give it five stars. But the hotel was truly disappointing in other ways. There were only mushy pillows--which seems to be the popular choice these days, though I don't know who can sleep on them besides stomach sleepers. More surprisingly, my room had no hairdryer. Really? I've stayed in motor inns that have hairdryers! That's about as basic as hotel amenities get. I was kind of amazed that a hotel this big and semi-swanky also didn't have a pool, as, again, even a lot of very basic hotels do. But the worst thing was the person in the room next to me, who had their TV on full blast the entire night! They literally turned it off as I was getting up for my early a.m. flight, having not slept a wink. I tried calling them and also banging on their door, to no avail. And when I called down to the front desk to ask for assistance with the problem, no one answered! So much for my great rate at the beautiful Marriott; if you don't sleep, it really doesn't matter how nice the decor and price are, does it?

Most dirty hotel I have ever been to. I had to use Clorox wipes to clean toilet seat and counters. Didn't complain as I did not want yo be and clean another room. Restaurant staff is great but the food is mediocre and not hot

TERRIBLE CHECK IN AND INFO WHEN CALLING FOR SHUTTL...

TERRIBLE CHECK IN AND INFO WHEN CALLING FOR SHUTTLE! I've never been at this property or airport before, but this is where our 9.5 hour flight from Italy landed, and so I booked a room so that my 85 year old mother and I could spend the night before flying home. When we landed and were in Passport/Customs, I called the hotel to get the shuttle information and was given the wrong information from the Customer Service Rep Rasheeda. When I called back, I was put on hold for 15 minutes by her. I then asked for a Manager, and she transferred me to the Operator Ilona - who hung up on me. My elderly mother and I spent an hour trying to find out way in the airport to where the shuttles were. When we finally got to the hotel, the shuttle driver put us in a line in front of a desk, but when it was finally my turn the woman at the desk told me I was in the wrong line. She wouldn't help me, even though I was put there by the shuttle driver and waited my turn. NOTE: There were no signs saying where people Checking In should stand, just one for Elite Guests and Mobile Check in's. I had to go into another line and wait again. When I got to the desk I asked Daisy if I could speak to the Manager, and she said that Maya (would not give the last name) was not in, but tried to give me her email to send a complaint to. I then asked for the name of Maya's supervisor, she did not know. She then went in the back to ask, and she came out telling me that the Assistant Manager didn't know of a name or an address for me to write a complaint to. Think about that, the Assistant Manager was in the back, heard that there was someone so unhappy that they wanted the Corporate Offices address to write a complaint to and didn't come out to speak to me. That's all you need to know about this property - AVOID! Your money spends ANYWHERE - spend it with a property that is happy you chose them, not one that treats you terribly like this one!

Staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean and incredibly comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend it for others. The only problem is that the shuttle does not run frequently, and it's not super easy to walk to from the terminal.

It is a dead gum zoo of fustercluck construction, and I would rather wake up with my face stapled to the carpet, or my fingernails pulled out, one by one, than to come down here willingly.

The rooms were very nice, I slept well. What I didn't like was the disgusting opportunism. 13$ for WiFi, an obscenely expensive midgrade eatery nowhere near worth the price. The staff was rude and unhelpful and everything seemed to inconvenience them. I would only stay again if I absolutely had to.

Attended a seminar in the Ballrooof the hotel. The food was excellent except for their running out of the apple cobbler. The place was set up very elegant and clean. The lady's room was also well kept.

Had a flight cancelled, the hotel had a shuttle and was very close to the airport. The room was nice, I didn't really take the chance to use any of the amenities as I had an early flight in the morning, but if I needed to stay near the airport I would use this hotel again.

I tend to take day trips to various cities around the United States and this hotel right on the grounds of the Newark Airport fit my needs nicely. It made for a terrific base of operations as we zipped into New York City and Hoboken using the excellent public transportation available to us. The hotel was clean, comfortable and updated, satisfying the discerning traveler. No, you're not on Times Square, but you are at a convenient crossroads of intermodal transportation that makes life easy to get around. Highly recommended for convenience.

Easy access and free 24-hours-a-day shuttle from-to Newark Airport. Quiet rooms, nice if somewhat quiet fitness center. Convenient snack shop in the lobby for a quick sandwich/salad/beer/latte.

The P.A. police are a bit ridiculous when you go to pick up someone from the "passenger pick up" area!
Attacking you to move when you're picking up someone.
I could see the drivers that are parked waiting but drivers just pulling up!
Also the black immigrant woman that works in United Airlines premier floor is a racist individual. Two times this witch stopped me upon entering the premier section to tell me : " Economy is downstairs" she didnt tell the white folks but stopped me on two different occasions.
So beware when entering terminal C and P.A.Police

Great base for NYC travel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Stayed 10+ times. The rooms are very modern and clean (recently renovated). Can't think of anything detracting. If you have a car parking seemed excessive.

.Comfortable room, great restaurant, and cozy seating arrangements in the lobby made for easy conversation. Also very friendly staff. So convenient to the airport and yet very quiet. Highly recommened.

The tram connecting there terminals and the rental cars is nice. Bring your own food into the terminal. There isn't a way to get from one terminal to another once you pass through security.

Food and drink menu was a bit limited and overpriced compared to other Marriott's. This is probably because there is no where to eat in the immediate area. Everything else was on par with other Marriott's.

The airport is chaos not very organized and it was very packed with people waiting for their bags to come out which they had technical difficulties something wasnt working properly that we had to wait for long time until our bags finally came out whch means you are waiting with to many people that you can't even see which begs are out.
On the way back the security scanning wasnt working and again we had to wait on line for long time which you are standing there with angry people and if security put your bag on a side to check what it is inside you miss the flight because the workers over there are very slow motions and they dont really care that you will miss the flight or not. So be very prepared that this can happen on your landing or departure

Very comfortable room. All mod cons available but NO POOL, which was advertised! Gym is well equipped with LF equipment, and is 24-hr. The Aviation Grill is pricy, but lovely food made to order

Really close to the airport (maybe a 5-10 minute walk) but no noise from the airport. The bed was comfortable. The concierge lounge on the 10th floor is rather small and no access to the restroom other than ones in the lobby. They serve appetizers in the lounge but alcoholic drinks are for purchase.
