Delicious genuine Lebanese food, great family run restaurant and super friendly atmosphere.

Would definitely eat here again.

A shawarma comes with salad and bread as part of the meal. I ordered beef shawarma for takeaway and was handed a tin of the beef (which was also cold and had to be heated up) and told that flat bread and salad were extras so had to fork out more money to complete the dish, what a joke. Won't be back, didn't even taste great after all that. Overpriced rubbish.

Authentic Lebanese cooking at a warm, cosy place. We loved the food and thought it is an honest representation of the Lebanese cuisine. Also, we appreciated the server's suggestions for wine (which was reasonably priced and complimented the food) and for the tasting menu, which allowed us to taste many starters and mains at a leisurely pace and was quite filling. All our company of nine are now fans and will come back.

The food was so tasty they had lots of vegan options. The staff were really friendly and there was a really nice and relaxed atmosphere...couldn't fault anything would definitely come back again the next time I'm in Athlone.

One of my favorites restaurants in Athlone for my family. We can find a lot of vegetarian mezzes(starters) and kind stuff. Also, this place brings our Mediterranean flavors back to our memories. Very recommended.

Enjoyed a 3-course family meal here at New Year. Lovely cosy decor, delicious food and a real taste of Lebanon in Athlone. Comfortable for families and plenty of sharing platters on offer. Serving guy friendly and put as at our ease.

The food is good. They have a lot of vegetarian options as well. The portion size is small though. We definitely loved their Fatayer spinach & almond tart with chocolate mousse.

Food was OK but not very flavoursome. The beef was over salted but lamb tasted good. A bit pricey considering the ingredients of each dish but nice atmosphere in restaurant

Good Lebanese cuisine. We took the set at 64 for 2 people and the rations were more than generous! Impeccable service, charming staff and very well appointed interior.

Portion size was ridiculously small for the amount of money I paid. 15 for 3 dry little kebabs and half a stale pita bread was just absurd..
Finished my meal in 2 minutes, wouldn't recommend.

Awesome Lebanese food with great options for Gluten Free and Vegetarian. Knocked a star for time waiting but to be fair they were slammed with short staff so a good complaint for a great local restaurant

Food is expensive and its not a pure labenes restaurant. We order chicken shawarma, however we received some chicken pieces fried. We called the manager and complained, he was very rude and said its a restaurant not a kebab house. Total wastage of money.

The decor is deceptive here, a good example of never judging a book by it's cover. Al Mezza has outstanding food. I have yet to get anything on the menu I didn't like. If you want to go somewhere for something different and be confident of having a good meal go here. Highly recommend

Food is good, but it took ages to get the food ready,and there was no water in the toilet, maybe we have arrived at the wrong time.

Five stars is not enough, between the quality of the food and the excellent service which made me feel like I was eating with old friends, I absolutely loved my meal there, and I'll be back again in a hurry!

My Favorite restaurant ever!! I have been going to Al Mezza Lebanese Restaurant from the very first day it opened in Athlone. And I have enjoyed every experience there..My three children love the food at Al Mezza. service and atmosphere excellent.

It's such a nice spot and the food is great, it's so quirky and a little different and as others have stated there's a very relaxed atmosphere with lovely staff.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, I would highly recommend it.
