Hotel location is good for the travellers. However the service is not so great. With COVID 2019 and restaurants being closed, you will not be able to get UBER deliveries. Hotel fixed menu is basic and not so great. Those recommended by hotel charge a lot for the deliveries.

Crazy busy.. crazy crowded. Not nearly enough rest rooms and they are nasty and heavily used. Shows its proximity to nyc and there are folks of all types and ethnicity moving through it at all times. Truly a world gateway to other lands. Food choices are limited by the adjacent Amtrak rail station is very walkable from terminal and super convienent way to arrive or depart. Decent lyft Uber pickup area right near terminals but expect hub bub at all times

Stayed for couple of hours overnight since I had an early morning flight back home. Rooms were smaller than other Marriotts I have stayed at. For some reason the staff have me am accessible room. Didn't mind it but would have been useful to some one else who might needed it.

I think this is the best airport in New York/ New Jersey. It is easy to find a parking spot, everything is shielded, it is easy to find the air train, the gates. The personnel is friendly and helpful, things run smoothly. Even if you make silly mistakes like we did, by leaving the package in the transit on the conveyor belt, they help you. (In this case you have to go to the airport services with your baggage ticket, and they get it for you. Be prepared it takes about 60-90 minutes).

This was our 2nd time this year staying at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott. It is convenient to New York City by the free airport shuttle and then taking the train to New York Penn Station. The Marriott staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and maintained. Constructively, the room should have had, but did not have a refrigerator or microwave. The room was very quiet as we never noticed any jets landing or taking off from the airport. The restaurant was admittedly expensive, but the food was very good and the staff were very professional and personable. The exercise room was superb and very well maintained with Life Fitness equipment. There used to be an outside pool, but no longer. Parking is a bit expensive, $28.75/day for self parking. The valet parking is more expensive. We had difficulty with our previous stay with the self parking process trying to enter and exit the lot with the room and lot keys. During this stay the process had not improved. I did bring it to the attention of the front desk staff. The gentleman said he would escalate the concerns. All in all, a wonderful stay.

So much better than flying in to JFK or LaGuardia. Very easy layout, quick access to rental cars, small crowds, and seats available at your gate. Airport looks clean, bathrooms are good, and people working generally seem friendly.

I loved the room, friendly staff and that the tvs were linked in a way to allow you to watch your own Netflix. I didn't like that I was forced to take a shuttle bus. Wish it was more pedestrian friendly.

Great hotel for location to Newark Airport for early morning flight. Within walking distance from rental car return. Can get pricey. I enjoy the access to the club on the top floor for snacks and breakfast...due note that alcoholic beverages are not complimentary. Nice sized fitness area, but gets pretty crazy in the morning. Good airport views.

Finally! Starbucks is at Terminal B (the Delta Concourse).

But, it's still limited on good eateries (of course, this is my opinion)

I needed a fridge in my room. They said they didn't know if they could get me one but they could store my food in their fridge. This is important because our company won't let us go to restaurants and we're working here for 5 days. came home from work and a crazy grocery store and there was a fridge in my room. Thank you Marriott you guys did a good job! That's why we use Marriott hotels.

For being as close to the airport as it is (literally walkable if you're up to dodging a bit of traffic), this hotel is remarkably quiet. Hats off to whoever did the soundproofing. The facility itself is nice, and efforts have been made to keep it from feeling too much like what it is, which is an airport hotel in New Jersey. The staff is pretty friendly, if a little absent minded. I placed an order for room service and was told it would be 25 minutes. 55 minutes later when I called to enquire about it, I learned that my order had never actually been placed. As if someone had written down my request and them plumb...forgot about me. The staff endeavored to rush my order after that, but it still took 20 minutes so I ended up waiting 75 minutes for a 25 minute burger. I was disappointed that no accommodations for this oversight were reflected on my bill. The food itself was hot, tasty, and cleverly packaged. I'd stay here again.

This Marriott is super convenient to EWR, and I like EWR. EWR is not too big, not too small. For some reason, EWR gets a bad rap from some, but it has good food and transportation options. This Marriott hotel is sometimes reasonably priced. That's the attraction for me. Can't really think of anything unusually outstanding or remarkable about the hotel. But even standard semi-luxurious Marriott style is always a cut above other chains, and the high-level customer service is always the best in business, imo. Airport-facing views from upper stories are kind of cool. You can see the hustle and bustle of all kinds of land, sea and air vehicles simultaneously.

I stayed in a room looking toward the terminal building. The room (555) was spacious and comfortable. It was really quiet. Never heard a single aircraft noise. Food is good, prices are ok. Though the elevator system is unusual and therefore quite confusing. You need to swipe your room key card to use the elevator.

The Marriott at Newark Airport is conveniently located for business meetings for people coming in from NJ, NY and surrounding areas. The meeting rooms are tastefully furnished, clean and quiet.

Miserable airport to negotiate in and out of. Antiquated air train is slow, Rocky, smelly, and as filthy at the NY Subways. Never ending construction that doesn't improve anything, ever. Only improve ments have been to terminal C.

The denied me access to my room with my service dog. Called corporate and they said the property manager would call me back a week later no call back and no resolution. Rude people over priced $30 parking fee they suck don't use this property

This Marriott has a Starbucks and restaurant in the lobby. The first day of our conference started after lunch but there was a pre-conference session that let out at lunch time. The restaurant was not properly prepared for this nor the number of people who needed expedited meals. Ours was one of last delivered so we only had about 7 minutes to eat and food generally doesn't taste good rushed. However, the meals provided by the conference, via Marriott's kitchen we presumed, were quite well done.

Spent some time in New York City, but the hotel rates plus the crazy resort fees were over the top so decided to try the Marriott Newark Airport. So glad I did. Beautiful, quiet, clean, comfortable hotel for half the cost of NYC. Only a half hour away by direct train. I may never stay in Manhattan again. Had some great dinners and saw some good shows with the savings.

I've stayed at this hotel a few dozen times over the last five years. The rooms are always clean, beds are comfy, staff is helpful, and I love the addition of Netflix on the TVs. The restaurant renovation was great, love that they opened it up and added all the lounge-style seating spilling out into the lobby. Great for working, people watching, and finding people to chat with if you're travelling alone. The wait staff is friendly and the food is pretty good too, including room service. This is my go-to hotel in Newark. I've been to others, and I always come back to this one.

Blanca is what makes the Marriott. No matter what you do in life, nothing is ever perfect. What matters is the professionals who are there that you can rely on. Blanca at the Marriott Newark is that. Smart, kind and reliable. The person you ask for bc you know no one else could handle the issue, nor or small. Blanca handles it and does it with grace. She takes care of you and is one step ahead of you. She goes above and beyond. This hotel, it s nice, but I ll come back bc of Blanca.

I came to pick up my father from his international flight from Sweden to NJ. I waited for him in short term parking in terminal B. The signs were easily read and if you missed your turn off you can circle around again until you reach the correct terminal. Exiting the parking lots was simple, rather expensive however.
